BACKGROUND: The regional dimension of public health is one characteristic of public health that reflects the effectiveness of social and economic change in society. The key components of which are health and demographic indicators. The regions current demographic situation is an essential component of comprehensive medical and social research. Health and demographic indicators describe the dynamics, state, and prospects of social and economic changes in health and society as a whole. The increase in the population and labor resources due to migration growth, the increase in mortality rates, the decline in the birth rate, and the aging of the nation presupposes the development and implementation of additional medico-demographic approaches to the strategic development of the region. AIMS: Аnalysis of key indicators of public health of Krasnodar Krai, including the main medico-demographic indicators in the dynamics for 20182020. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A retrospective analysis on some aspects of the regions public health for 20182020 was conducted. Included in the development are medico-demographic indicators of the population, fertility, mortality, natural increase (losses), and so forth, in the dynamics for 20182020. Data from the Federal Service of State Statistics and statistical data of reporting forms of medical organizations of Krasnodar Krai Information about medical organization (p. 30) were used in the study for the period under consideration. The study applied statistical, analytical, and descriptive methods. The statistical processing of the material was carried out with the help of Microsoft Office software package. RESULTS: Analysis of key regional medico-demographic indicators of Krasnodar Krai for the analyzed period from 2018 to 2020 has made it possible to identify population growth. These indicators include the increase in migration, the number of children, the population under working age, women of childbearing age, the decrease in the total and total fertility rates, the population of working age, and the increase in the overall mortality rate, which includes the working age and population loss. Diseases of the circulatory system, the nervous system, and neoplasm took the largest share in the structure of mortality in 2020. In the structure of mortality, diseases of the circulatory system, nervous system, and neoplasm took the largest share. One of the reasons for the increase in total mortality in 2020 was the death rate from COVID-19. CONCLUSIONS: The analysis of the main medico-demographic indicators as one of the key components of public health of Krasnodar Krai for 20182020 has been conducted.

Introduction: Cardiac pacing is indicated for sick sinus syndrome. It is performed with a pacemaker via electrodes implanted in the heart. This technique has several disadvantages. The search for alternative methods of cardiac pacing is underway. One of them is control of heart rhythm through stimulation of the tragus. Objective: To perform the reflex stimulation of the sinoatrial node and to study the influence of the SS-68 substance on it. Materials and methods: Two electrodes were fixed in the reflexogenic zone of rabbits’ auricles, volleys of electrical impulses from an electrical stimulator were applied to the electrodes, and the synchronization range of volley frequency and cardiac contractions was recorded. This range was re-recorded again after injecting the SS-68 substance (2-phenyl-1-(3-pyrrolidine-1-cyclopropyl)-1H-indole hydrochloride) intravenously at a dose of 50 µg/kg. In other experiments on frogs in a high-frequency electromagnetic field, the process of excitation of the area of the medulla oblongata associated with the heart rhythm was visualized. After the application of SS-68 (50 μM) to the surface of this zone, the process of its excitation was recorded. Results and discussion: Stimulation of the auricular reflexogenic zone of rabbits produced a synchronization of volley frequency and heart rate in the range from 173.5 ± 2.0 to 214.0 ± 1.8 per minute. SS-68 extended this range from 168.2 ± 1.9 to 219.4 ± 1.5 per minute. In the frog’s medulla oblongata, an area synchronous to the heart rhythm glowed in the high-frequency electromagnetic field. SS-68 increased the area of glow by 131.0%. Conclusion: The substance SS-68 increases the frequency range of heart rhythm control by activating reflex stimulation of the sinoatrial node. The main point of application of SS-68 is the medulla oblongata. Glow in the high-frequency electromagnetic field reflects the process of neuron excitation. The increase in the glow zone under the influence of SS-68 indicates synchronously excited neurons, which leads to the assimilation of the central heart rhythm generation by the sinoatrial node.

The key factors in the production development and location, including industrial production, in any region, are the territorial structure of natural resources and the level of production infrastructure development. At present, the industry is one of the leading sectors of the developed countries' economy. Therefore, the Government of Uzbekistan, from the first days of state independence, prioritises the industry development, its modernisation and diversification when reforming the national economy. Due to this, over the past ten years, the industrial production share in the country's GDP has grown significantly and amounts to almost 1/3 of it. However, the participation of regions in gross industrial output is very uneven, and a number of them, in the presence of high natural resource potential, still retain agricultural specialisation. The paper presents an economic and geographical analysis of natural resources as a factor of industrial development in the Tashkent economic district. The general characteristic of mineral and raw material balance of the Tashkent region in the context of administrative districts (rural areas) is given. The paper describes the current development state of the territorial and sectoral structure of the Tashkent region and Tashkent city. The study analyses reserves and the involvement level of mineral resources in the context of administrative districts. The authors of this paper considered the issues and prospects of territorial and sectoral structure establishment and development in Tashkent economic district industry.

The article considers the Adriatic bora as a phenomenon of flow around real mountains using a nonlinear analytical two-dimensional model. The atmosphere is presented as three layers: the lower layer represents the troposphere, and the other two represent the influence of the upper atmosphere. The shape of the relief is taken into account accurately, the interaction of the flows in the studied layers is approximate. It has been deduced that disturbances over the main ridge and in the leeward zone over the mountains are often characterized by the presence of a zone with rotors in the form of closed vortices and extended sections of vertical movements. The energy of the disturbances beyond the mountains is estimated by the jet stream velocity at the leeward slope. It has been deduced that its value lies in the range of 19–40 m/s. It’s been deduced that the characteristic cold snap during the bora is determined by the arrival of a colder air mass in the region, and not by the flow process itself. The height and the steepness of the leeward slope of the mountains, as well as the effects of turbulization of movements in the leeward zone are determining factors in increasing the velocity in the surface layer over the mountains.

The concluding chapter of the book “The Republic of Adygea Environment” briefly summarizes the content of the book which comprises 28 chapters devoted to different physicogeographical characteristics, geological processes, ecological conditions of soils, anthropogenic loads, environmental issues, climate and vegetation change, geo-ecological monitoring of rivers and water bodies, ecological tourism, renewable energy, as well as to mechanisms of legal, ecological and economic regulation and environmental insurance in the Republic of Adygea. International activities of Maykop State Technological University are briefly described and prospects of future collaboration in the environmental research in the framework of the EU Black Sea Cross Border Cooperation are presented.

Current state of ecological tourism, its development models in Russia, and prospects of ecotourism development in the Republic of Adygea have been studied in the chapter. Specially protected natural areas (SPNA) of the Republic of Adygea and their main natural characteristics as sites of ecological tourism have been considered. Recreational capacity and loads of SPNA of the mountainous part of the Republic have been estimated.

It presents a nonlinear stationary dimensional theoretical model of the airflow of the Northwest Caucasus Mountains, taking into account characteristics of a real mountain terrain. The chapter further discusses the results of the calculations of the speed field of the airflow and general regularities of the origin and the scale of the rotary-wave deformation of the airflow over the mountains. The flow over the mountain greatly smoothed, and the rotor area completely disappeared. Flight safety indicators over the mountains of the Republic of Adygea for two types of aircrafts (light-engine and speed) were calculated on the basis of the obtained data. In certain conditions, flights for both high-speed and single-engine aircrafts can be considered dangerous.

This article considers airflow around mountain systems as a meso-scale atmospheric phenomenon. It presents a non-linear stationary dimensional theoretical model of the airflow of the North-West Caucasus Mountains, taking into account characteristics of a real mountain terrain. The article further discusses the results of the calculations of the speed field of the airflow and general regularities of the origin and the scale of the rotary-wave deformation of the airflow over the mountains. The calculation results have shown that for the model scenario I at wind speed U=15 m/s the disturbances are the most intense over the ridge crests, where they are characterized by the zone with rotors. The total length of the rotor zone downwind is more than the length of its nucleus and is close enough in value to the extent of the lee part of the terrain (downwind from the main top). The area of maximum amplitudes is located in the windward side of the rotor zone. These amplitudes are several times higher than the maximum height of the mountains. For the model scenario II (U=19 m/s) wave disturbances slightly increased in length downwind, but minimally changed in amplitude. The rotary zone changed and moved downstream. The model scenario III (U=22 m/s) is accompanied by sharp transformation of the rotor zone. Closed vortices disappear; there is no purely vertical and backward motion. The flow over the mountain greatly smoothed, and the rotor area completely disappeared. A two-step approach towards the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-a]indoles from 2-chloroindole-3-carbaldehyde has been developed. It comprises the N-alkylation of indole ring by 2-bromo-1,1-diethoxyethane followed by a treatment with aromatic amine hydrochlorides. The reaction proceeds as a nucleophilic substitution of the chlorine atom at position 2 of the indole ring followed by cyclization along with the condensation at the aldehyde group. Imidazo[1,2-a]indoles were isolated as protonated Schiff bases. Their structure was proved by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and X-ray structural analysis.

The instrumentality and methodical approach to solving the problem of matching students to the federal state educational standards, as well as problems of conformity with the essential requirements of the Russian standards of the Bologna agreement is offered in the paper. Tools to address both objectives are based on the provisions of pattern recognition theory. A graphic illustration is presented and the mathematical apparatus of construction of the feature space is given in order to simulate the degree of affiliation to the selected object class. Reference values, which student should achieve, are specified for a given level of student learning in this space. Similarly educational standard is compared with the requirements of the Bologna process. The authors propose methodological support of the study of the federal state educational standards compliance to the Bologna process, including the completeness verification, analysis consistency to each other and other legislative acts, check refinement of educational standards adopted international educational system (Bologna process) in quality and content. Actions have been developed by benchmarking of existing educational standards.

SS-68 is a derivative of indole, which demonstrated strong antiarrhythmic effects not associated with significant QT prolongation in dog models of atrial fibrillation. Therefore, SS-68 was proposed as a new antiarrhythmic drug and the present study is the first describing its effects on action potentials (APs) configuration and elucidating the ionic mechanisms of these effects. Sharp microelectrodes were used to record APs in isolated preparations of mouse atrial and ventricular myocardium. In both types of myocardium 10(-6) M SS-68 produced reduction of AP duration, 3 × 10(-6) M failed to alter AP waveform and 10(-5) - 3 × 10(-5) M prolonged APs. Sensitivity of main ionic currents to SS-68 was determined using whole-cell patch clamp. Transient potassium current Ito was slightly inhibited by SS-68 with IC50 = 1.43 × 10(-4) M. IKur was more sensitive with IC50 = 1.84 × 10(-5) M. Background inward rectifier showed very low sensitivity to SS-68 - only 10(-4) M SS-68 caused significant reduction of IK1. ICaL was significantly inhibited by 10(-6)M - 3 × 10(-5) M SS-68. The IC50 value for the ICaL was 1.84 × 10(-6) M. Thus, main ionic currents of mouse cardiomyocytes are inhibited by SS-68 in the following order of potency: ICaL > IKur > Ito > IK1. While lower concentration of SS-68 shorten APs via suppression of ICaL, higher concentrations inhibit K(+)-currents leading to APs prolongation.

The compound SS-68 has been selected among numerous new derivatives of indole and demonstrated antiarrhythmic effects in animal models. The present study concerns several aspects of SS-68 safety and efficacy as a potential antiarrhythmic drug. The first estimation of atrioventricular conduction in mammalian heart under SS-68 has been carried out; effects of SS-68 in Purkinje fibers and myocardium of pulmonary veins have been investigated. The drug weakly affects cardiac atrioventricular conduction: only high concentrations of SS-68 (≥10 μmol/L) significantly decrease this parameter. Also, the drug weakly affects Purkinje fibers automaticity, but effectively alters action potential waveform in Purkinje fibers in a concentration-dependent manner. SS-68 (0.1-100 μmol/L) failed to induce any early or delayed afterdepolarizations in Purkinje fibers both in basal conditions and under provocation of proarrhythmic activity by norepinephrine (NE). Moreover, 10 μmol/L SS-68 suppressed NE-induced extra-beats and rapid firing in Purkinje fibers. In pulmonary veins only high concentrations of SS-68 significantly increased action potential duration, while lower concentrations (0.1-1 μmol/L) were ineffective. Also, 0.1-100 μmol/L SS-68 was unable to elicit arrhythmogenic alternations of action potential waveform in pulmonary veins. In conclusion, SS-68 has no proarrhythmic effects, such as afterdepolarizations or abnormal automaticity in used experimental models.

The purpose of the present research is to find areas of organizational and economic mechanisms that enhance the efficiency of regional utilities. A systematic approach to the analysis of the organizational and economic mechanism of Housing in the region, provides a systematic, comprehensive and effective investigation. Strategic Imperatives in the management of regional utilities are defined taking into account the crisis tendencies in the process of its development. Case utilities management is seen as the realization of the objectives of its development in different scenario conditions. With the help of mathematical modeling methods and parameters are determined by the structure of the control actions. The article proposes a methodology for calculating the article options strategy utilities management in the region, the results of modeling the trajectory of housing and communal services of the Republic of Adygea.

The majority of mucous cysts originate from the sublingual gland. Mucoceles originating from the submandibular glands are extremely rare. We report the case of a 24-year-old girl with submandibular gland mucocele. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed cystic lesions in close proximity to the submandibular gland without tail sign. The cyst with submandibular gland was successfully removed through a cervical approach without complications. The pathologic and intraoperative examination confirmed the pseudocyst originating from the submandibular gland. The patient has no evidence of recurrence. We review previous cases of mucoceles originating from the submandibular gland.

The dependence of norepinephrine-(NE-) and high potassium (80 mMK) depolarization-induced contractions on extracellular versus intracellular calcium (Ca2+) pools was studied in strips of rabbit superior mesenteric artery and its branches, and in perfused mesenteric resistance vessels. 80 mM K contractions were abolished in the presence of 0 Ca2+ 2 mM EGTA in all arteries studied, whereas 10-5M NE-induced contractions and stimulated 45Ca efflux in 0 Ca2+ 2 mM EGTA decreased in a graded fashion from proximal to distal arteries. These data indicate a decreasing release of intracellular Ca2+ and an increasing dependence on extracellular Ca2+ for NE-induced contractions as one proceeds from proximal to distal arteries. This pattern was paralleled by increasing sensitivity of NE-induced contractions to inhibition by diltiazem (10-9 10-4M) from proximal to distal arteries, while inhibition of 80 mM K contractions was similar in all vessels. 45Ca influx induced by 10-5M NE in the resistance vessels, wherein the NE does not release intracellular Ca2+, is approximately 10,000-fold more sensitive to the action of diltiazem than that in the aorta. However, when the aorta is activated by 10-8 MNE, it becomes more sensitive to inhibition by diltiazem than when it is activated by 10-5 MNE. The former NE concentration does not release intracellular Ca2+ in the aorta, whereas the latter does. Thus, it appears that NE-induced 45Ca influx is most susceptible to inhibition by diltiazem when the NE has not also released intracellular Ca2+. We suggest that the release of intracellular Ca2+ by NE may make its stimulated Ca2+ influx less susceptible to inhibition by diltiazem.

PurposeBinding proteins (G-proteins) mediate signalling pathways involved in diverse cellular functions and comprise Gα and Gβγ units. Human diseases have been reported for all five Gβ proteins. A de novo missense variant in GNB2 was recently reported in one individual with developmental delay/intellectual disability (DD/ID) and dysmorphism. We aim to confirm GNB2 as a neurodevelopmental disease gene, and elucidate the GNB2-associated neurodevelopmental phenotype in a patient cohort.MethodsWe discovered a GNB2 variant in the index case via exome sequencing and sought individuals with GNB2 variants via international data-sharing initiatives. In silico modelling of the variants was assessed, along with multiple lines of evidence in keeping with American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics guidelines for interpretation of sequence variants.ResultsWe identified 12 unrelated individuals with five de novo missense variants in GNB2, four of which are recurrent: p.(Ala73Thr), p.(Gly77Arg), p.(Lys89Glu) and p.(Lys89Thr). All individuals have DD/ID with variable dysmorphism and extraneurologic features. The variants are located at the universally conserved shared interface with the Gα subunit, which modelling suggests weaken this interaction.ConclusionMissense variants in GNB2 cause a congenital neurodevelopmental disorder with variable syndromic features, broadening the spectrum of multisystem phenotypes associated with variants in genes encoding G-proteins.
