Little is known about the behavioural tendencies at the basis of smartphone use. The present research investigates delay discounting, the phenomenon whereby a smaller, immediate reward is preferred over a larger, delayed one, in smartphone use. In line with previous work on delay discounting in other domains, Study 1 (N = 81) showed that the hyperboloid function best fits the inter-temporal choices made by participants. Study 2 (N = 123) replicated this result and revealed that individuals who prefer communicating via smartphone (vs. face-to-face) showed a higher devaluation over time, whereas those more aware of smartphone negative impact showed less discounting. The present research yielded the first evidence that delay discounting might underlie inter-temporal choices of smartphone use. Implications of these results are discussed.

Electric vehicles (EVs) and the recent pandemic outbreak give cities a new trend to primarily private and shared mobility with low noise and less air pollution. Crucial factors for the widespread of EVs are the electrical charging infrastructure, driving range, and the reduction of the cost of battery packets. For this reason, there is a massive effort from manufacturers, governments, and the scientific community to reduce battery costs and boost sustainable electrical production and distribution. Battery reuse is an alternative to reduce batteries’ costs and environmental impacts. Second-life batteries can be used in a wide variety of secondary applications. Second-life batteries can be connected with off-grid or on-grid photovoltaic and wind systems, vehicle charging stations, forklifts, and frequency control. The present work aims to analyze the main challenges imposed on the reuse of batteries, the leading technologies for their reuse, and the different types of batteries in terms of their feasibility for second-life use. The main novelty of this work is the discussion about the barriers, opportunities, uncertainties, and technologies for the second life market. Here we summarize the present state of the art in reusing lithium-ion batteries discussing technical and economic feasibility, environmental impacts, and perspectives. The results show five business models that have been proposed in the literature, three types of markets for trading second-life batteries, and the main opportunities and barriers for each actor in the battery supply chain.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is considered to be one of the viral infections associated with cancers and other diseases. HPV is detected asymptomatically in the oral mucosa. The presence of human papillomavirus in the oral mucosa appears to be closely associated with a series of benign and malign oral lesions. The aim of this paper is to report the Italian experience in applying translational protocols, using new technologies and multidisciplinary strategies in Human Papilloma virus detection and treatment. The "HPV board: a future without papilloma virus" project was born, promoted by CNEL (Italian Council of Economics and Labor) with the collaboration of numerous scientific societies to commonly approach to public knowledge of HPV-related oral lesions and their clinical management. The preliminary results are related to the assessment of the proof-of-concept of this new project. More in details, "HPV Board" is a project that plans the presence of a working group, made up of otolaryngologists, dentists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, in close contact with gynecologists, oncologists and pediatricians; this working group manages to combine very transversal skills, in order to promote primary prevention projects, early diagnosis and adequate therapies. The "HPV BOARD" project will give the opportunity to increase the attention of patients and doctors on the early diagnosis of oncological diseases dependent on infection by the infectious agent HPV. In this panorama, dentists will have the role of "first sentinel" of public health because oral health is an indicator, too often overlooked, for the prevention of numerous diseases.

The growing interest in the modeling of superconductors has led to the development of effective numerical methods and software. One of the most utilized approaches for magnetoquasistatic simulations in applied superconductivity is the $H$ formulation. However, due to the large number of degrees of freedom (DOFs) present when modeling large and complex systems (e.g. large coils for fusion applications, electrical machines, and medical applications) using the standard $H$ formulation on a desktop machine becomes infeasible. The $H$ formulation solves the Faraday's law formulated in terms of the magnetic field intensity $\mathbf{H}$ using edge elements in the whole modeling domain. For this reason, a very high resistivity is assumed for the non-conducting domains, leading to an ill-conditioned system matrix and therefore long computation times. In contrast, the $H$-$\phi$ formulation uses the $H$ formulation in the conducting region, and the $\phi$ formulation (magnetic scalar potential) in the surrounding non-conducting domains, drastically reducing DOFs and computation time. In this work, we use the $H$-$\phi$ formulation in 2D for the magnetothermal (AC losses and quench) analysis of stacks of REBCO tapes. The same approach is extended to a 3D case for the AC loss analysis of a twisted superconducting wire. All the results obtained by simulations in Sparselizard are compared with results obtained with COMSOL. Stoic philosophy has multiple parallels with cognitive behavioural therapy interventions. In their ancient texts, the Roman Stoics present a set of theoretical principles and behavioural strategies that are directly relevant to the clinical care of patients with a wide range of neuropsychiatric conditions. Mindfulness is a key component of the ‘third wave’ of modern psychotherapy that closely resembles the ancient Stoic practice of attention or ‘concentration on the present moment’. Stoic mindfulness draws attention to one of the main principles driving both Stoicism and modern psychotherapy: the assumption that cognitive activity (reasoning) mediates emotions and behaviours. This principle can be traced back to Epictetus’ Enchiridion, where he recognises that ‘men are disturbed not by things, but by the views which they take of things’. It has been shown that cognitive behavioural therapies and mindfulness-based interventions directed at patients with neuropsychiatric disorders were originally developed as Stoic-inspired treatment interventions. Both Albert Ellis and Aaron Beck (the founders of rational emotive behaviour therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy, respectively) explicitly acknowledged the role of Stoicism as the philosophical precursor of their treatment approaches. The effective implementation of evidence-based guidelines would benefit from an increased awareness of the influence of the Stoic tradition of philosophical therapy on the treatment approaches currently in use in neuropsychiatry.

Recent years have seen a growing interest in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy regarding clinical work with young adults. What has been particularly useful in defining the specific nature of clinical work with young adults is the construct of emerging adulthood. This work puts forward a psychoanalytic psychotherapeutic approach aimed at emerging adults, illustrating it through clinical cases. The objective of this approach is to help young adults acquire greater awareness of their resources, inclinations, and relational models, promoting consolidation of the process of subjectification. Therefore, therapy intends to foster the capacity of the patient to process the feelings of instability and indecision typical of emerging adulthood, serving as a secure basis for the exploration and mentalization of identity aspects which are in the shadows or have been colonized by alienating parental introjections. From the perspective of developmental psychoanalysis, the therapist performs an action aimed to promote interrupted or suspended developmental processes in young adults. This action pays attention to the definition of their life choices relating to the present and the capacity to design their future, creating a safe space suitable for fostering the emergence of the potential of the Self and the consequent process of becoming a subject.

The year 2023 marks the 300th anniversary of the death of Antonio Maria Valsalva (1666–1723). Valsalva was a leading physician across the 17th and 18th centuries, specifically for his focus on experimental physiology, the science dealing with the normal functioning of bodily organs as a basis for a better understanding of diseases, symptoms, and care. He used a top-down systematic approach typical of the Enlightenment, rather than a heuristic one (“trial-and-error”), which became feasible after the longlasting ban on dissecting human corpses was lifted. Valsalva’s main interest was exploring the complex structure of the human ear, to which he dedicated a specific treatise, De Aure Humana. He understood the issues inherent in the imbalance in pressure between the outer and inner ear and found ways to exploit it to get rid of purulent fluid by deliberately raising the inside pressure with his maneuver. Time was however not yet ripe to see the broader importance that the Valsalva maneuver would achieve, not just in otorhinolaryngology, but also in cardiology and other fields of medicine. Although Valsalva’s name is usually associated with his maneuver, his contributions to the history of medicine were broader: he discovered several anatomical parts (i.e., the sinuses of Valsalva), built the basis for the development of pathological anatomy, introduced advances in surgery, and promoted compassionate care of patients affected by mental diseases. NEW & NOTEWORTHY Antonio Maria Valsalva (1666–1723) was a pioneer in experimental physiology between the 17th and 18th centuries. The Valsalva maneuver is still a popular academic topic and has broad applications not only in physiology research, but also in the diagnosis and therapy of various diseases. The celebration of 300 years from his death could be a timely occasion to commemorate the scientific works of this illustrious scientist.

Permasalahan yang terjadi di beberapa titik jalan Dusun yang ada didesa Bencoyterdapat beberapa kerusakan jalan yang perlu diperbaiki dan dibutuhkan beberapa plakat atau papan penunjuk jalan keluar masuk desa, plakat petunjuk kantor dan kediaman RT/RW, serta kelurahan serta papan petunjuk tempat ibadah dan fasilitas umum lainnya, plakat batas kecepatan pengendara jalan, dan peta atau denah desa perlu juga dibuat untuk mempermudah warga pendatang ketika masuk ke Desa Bencoy. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dimulai dengan mengadakan survey lapangan atau tempat-tempat yang akan dipasang papan petunjuk. Setelah menemukan lokasi yang akan dipasang papan maka langkah selanjutnya adalah membuat plakat atau papan dengan membeli alat serta bahan yang diperlukan. Setelah selesai pembuatan plakat maka dilanjutkan dengan pengecatan yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemasangan plakat yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dibantu oleh masyarakat setempat. Papan atau plakat dibuat berjumlah 4 buah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Bencoy Kecamatan Cireunghas di 4 dusun yakni Dusun Cilubang, Dusun Cikaso, Dusun Limbangan, dan Dusun Cireunghas ini terlaksana dengan baik atas dukungan dan bantuan warga desa karena hal ini menyangkut kepentingan orang banyak. Tidak ada hambatan yang cukup berarti dalam proses persiapan, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi kegiatan ini hanya saja proses pengerjaannya membutuhkan waktu yang lumayan lama. Pembuatan dan pemasangan papan atau plakat penunjuk jalan ini adalah sebagai bentuk partisipasi, koordinasi dan keterlibatan aktif baik mahasiswa, dosen dan warga desa sekitar.

Automated classification of mathematics question items based on the Table of Specifications is crucial in developing well-defined assessment content, significantly reducing teachers’ workload. This study presents a performance evaluation of a Random Forest model designed to classify mathematics question items based on the content standards of the first quarter of tenth grade stipulated by the Philippines’ Department of Education Curriculum Guide. The model uses an algorithm that extracts mathematical expressions as tokens for the Bag-of-words Model. The evaluation was conducted using precision, recall, F-1 score, and overall accuracy metrics, and the confusion matrix was used to assess the Random Forest model’s performance. The results showed that the Random Forest model achieved 95% in precision, 95% in recall, 95% in F-1 score, and 95% in overall accuracy, demonstrating its effectiveness in classifying mathematics question items.

Cash management is the optimization of cash flow and excess cash investment. Financial statements are a form of management accountability in managing the company's resources as well as information that reflects the company's performance. This study aims to determine the effect of cash management quality on improving a business performance on CV. Alphie in the period 2019-2021. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The results showed that cash and company performance stimulant positive and significant effect on residual, but partial cash does not have a positive and significant effect on residual. Background. Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma (JNA) is a rare tumor that mainly affects young boys. Its intervention may be complex due to its high vascularity, location, and extension. Preoperative embolization is used to prevent intrasurgical and postsurgical bleeding. Two main kinds of embolization are described in literature: intratumoral and transarterial, and numerous embolic materials are used. Case Presentation. We want to present a case of presurgical embolization of a stage IV JNA, performed using a single stop-flow balloon assisted technique with the balloon cuffed exclusively in the external carotid artery and using Onyx 18 as an embolic agent. Conclusions. The embolization with an exclusive external carotid artery single stop-flow technique using Onyx 18 is a safe, effective, and a definitive approach.

En el ordenamiento jurídico español el tipo básico penal de la lucha contra la corrupción es el delito de prevaricación, si bien no es tan importante a efectos de punición como otros tipos penales que le acompañan, en especial el delito de malversación, el fraude o el cohecho, a diferencia de otros ordenamientos en los que existe un tipo genérico de delito de corrupción. Esta diversidad de tipos no ayuda a una lucha eficaz contra el fenómeno endémico de la corrupción, no tanto por la dificultad de insertar hechos punibles en tipos, sino sobre todo por la falta de una prevención general real y la dificultad de restituir los efectos económicos del delito, existiendo en la sociedad española no solo la percepción de que la corrupción existe en todos los estamentos, sino que las conductas corruptas salen a cuenta por no ser adecuadamente sancionadas. España tiene el reto de mejorar sus normas penales y la aplicación de las mismas para que tales percepciones cambien sustancialmente en los próximos años. Para ello el presente artículo analiza la configuración actual del delito de malversación, la problemática en su aplicación por los tribunales, descendiendo a la práctica forense reciente, y propone modificaciones de lege ferenda que permitan terminar con esta lacra.

El tratamiento quirúrgico de la masa apendicular es controversial. Objetivos: Estimar la prevalencia de las complicaciones postoperatorias y describir si hay o no relación de causalidad entre las técnicas quirúrgicas y las complicaciones posoperatorias en masa apendicular. Material y métodos: Estudio observacional descriptivo, prospectivo de corte trasversal, en donde se incluyeron pacientes con diagnóstico de masa apendicular sometidos a cirugía en el Hospital Regional ISSSTE Puebla durante 2020-2022. Resultados: Se diagnosticaron 486 pacientes con apendicitis aguda. La incidencia de masa apendicular fue de 20.9% (102/ 486), el manejo fue quirúrgico en el 100% de estos pacientes. La técnica quirúrgica que se asoció mayor mortalidad fue la Ileocequectomía con Ileostomía (2%) y la que se asoció con mayor complicación temprana, posquirúrgica y sistémica fue Cierre Primario Mas Parche De Epiplón (41 (40%), 36(35%); 28 (27%), respectivamente). La diferencia de frecuencias fue analizada con Chi cuadrada y los marcadores séricos y antropométricos fueron analizados con Prueba de Kruskal-Wallis. Conclusión: Las características cínicas y las técnicas quirúrgicas en la cirugía de masa apendicular se relacionan con determinadas complicaciones, así como mortalidad. Es necesario el abordaje personalizado para evaluar el tratamiento y para determinar el tipo de técnica quirúrgica.

Los procedimientos de rescate en colecistectomía laparoscópica son variados. Objetivos: Describir los procedimientos de rescate usados en el Hospital Regional ISSSTE Puebla durante el 2022. Material y métodos: Estudio observacional descriptivo, prospectivo de corte trasversal, en donde se incluyeron pacientes en los cuales no se pudo completar la visión crítica de seguridad y por lo tanto se tuvo que usar algún procedimiento de rescate para completar la colecistectomía por laparoscopía. Resultados: Se realizaron 193 colecistectomías laparoscópicas, en 40 (20.7%) pacientes se empleó algún procedimiento de rescate, se convirtieron 4 (2%) pacientes. Mediante el análisis multivariado no hubo relación significativa entre el tipo de procedimiento y el género, la edad, así como el grado de severidad de Tokyo; pero si hubo relación significativa el puntaje de Parkland ≥4 con los siguientes procedimientos: "Fundus first" más "punción y aspiración", colecistectomía reconstitutiva, abordaje infundibular, abordaje del segmento IV, colocación de un puerto adicional, colecistectomía parcial con o sin colangiografía, y el abordaje del ganglio cístico. Los días de estancia hospitalaria mayores se relacionaron con la colecistectomía reconstitutiva, colecistectomía parcial y la conversión. El sangrado se relacionó con la necesidad de conversión y con el uso de la "punción y aspiración".

Background.Animal models using intratracheal instillation show that elastase, unopposed by α1-antitrypsin (AAT) causes alveolar damage and hemorrhage associated with emphysematous changes.Aim.To characterize any relationship between alveolar hemorrhage and human AAT deficiency (AATD) using bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) and lung explant samples from AATD subjects.Methods.BAL samples (17 patients, 15 controls) were evaluated for free heme (iron protoporphyrin IX) and total iron concentrations. Alveolar macrophage (AlvMac) activation patterns were assessed by RNA sequencing and validatedin vitrousing heme-stimulated, monocyte-derived macrophages (MDM). Lung explants (7 patients, 4 controls) were assessed for iron sequestration protein expression patterns using Prussian blue stain and ferritin immunohistochemistry, as well as ferritin iron imaging and elemental analysis by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Tissue oxidative damage was assessed using 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) immunohistochemistry.Results.BAL collected from AATD patients showed significantly elevated free heme and total iron concentrations. Alveolar and interstitial macrophages in AATD explants showed elevated iron and ferritin accumulation in large lysosomes packed by iron oxide cores with degraded ferritin protein cages. BAL macrophage RNA sequencing showed innate proinflammatory activation, replicatedin vitroby hemin exposure, that also triggered reactive oxygen species generation. AATD explants showed massive oxidative DNA damage in both lung epithelial cells and macrophages.Conclusions.BAL and tissue markers of alveolar hemorrhage, together with molecular and cellular evidence of macrophage innate pro-inflammatory activation and oxidative damage, are consistent with free heme stimulation. Overall, this initial study provides evidence for a pathogenetic role of elastase-induced alveolar hemorrhage in AATD emphysema.

Penilaian kerja pada karyawan merupakan bagian yang sangat penting karena dengan kualitas karyawan yang baik maka diperoleh hasil kerja yang baik, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan metode penilaian sehingga menghasilkan penilaian yang objektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif mengambil data dari wawancara menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode Profile Matching dapat membantu pemecahan suatu masalah dalam menentukan kenaikan jabatan sesuai dengan kriteria yang sudah di tentukan.

Oxygenated organic molecules (OOMs) are dominated by the N-containing species in polluted urban environments. As N-containing OOMs, especially those with more than one nitrogen atom, prevail in the high m/z (mass-to-charge) range (m/z> 350 Th), unambiguous identification of N-containing OOMs is highly desirable for understanding of their formation processes, precursors and influencing factors. To achieve this, we applied an ultra-high-resolution chemical-ionization Orbitrap (CI-Orbitrap) in a field campaign and found that OOMs contain one (1N-OOMs), two (2N-OOMs) and three (3N-OOMs) nitrogen atoms comprised 50 %, 26 % and 4 %, respectively, of total OOMs. More interestingly, the fraction of 2N-OOMs increased with the increase in carbon number (nC) and was dominated by the ones derived from aliphatic precursors (2N-OOMAli, 64.2 %), indicating the importance of multistep oxidation. Plausible precursors of 2N-OOMs were aliphatics (2N-OOMAli, 64.2 %), aromatics (2N-OOMAro, 16 %) and monoterpenes (2N-OOMMT, 15.4 %). The absolute concentrations of 2N-OOMs were greatly affected by the pollution level for most cases. The 2N-OOMAli was the most abundant 2N-OOM, and its fraction even increased on the polluted day with an enhanced proportion of the ones with nC >10. While 2N-OOMAli and 2N-OOMAro were dominated by daytime photochemical production, nighttime NO3-initiated oxidation played a comparable role to the daytime photochemistry in the formation of 2N-OOMMT. The 2N-OOMAro species were of the highest oxygenation level, followed by 2N-OOMMT and 2N-OOMAli, which were affected by photochemistry and NOx concentrations. These results highlight the significant formation of 2N-OOMs and the influencing factors on their formation in polluted urban environments, where various volatile organic compound (VOC) precursors and atmospheric oxidants are present.

Non-traumatic vertebrobasilar stroke syndrome is rare. Many etiological mechanisms have been described over the years, with the dynamic occlusion of one vertebral artery following head rotation (RVAO) being one of them. We report the case of a patient undergoing surgery for supratentorial metastasis, who postoperatively developed a cerebellar ischemic stroke secondary to RVAO. Postoperative imaging showed a right hypoplastic VA; so, a transient occlusive mechanism was thought to be responsible for the postoperative cerebellar stroke. Although rare, RVAO can occur following head rotation during patient positioning for neurosurgical procedures.

This article explores the relationship between the Catholic Church and animal magnetism. At the beginning of the nineteenth century, the Catholic Church had first tried to stem the rise of animal magnetism in a vague manner, but after a few decades, it eventually put a genuine veto in place. This measure was founded upon the dangers to morality and faith arising from the progressive polarization of the original doctrine in forms related to esotericism. Among the causes of the condemnation by the Congregation of the Holy Office, the primary ones were the naturalist interpretation of the miracles described in the Gospels and in the New Testament, and the possibility of falling under the control of a demonic spirit.

In this contribution, new data concerning the distribution of native vascular flora in Italy are presented. It includes new records, confirmations, exclusions, and status changes to the Italian administrative regions. Nomenclatural and distribution updates, published elsewhere, and corrigenda are provided as Suppl. material 1.

Peer status – the regard other group members have of an individual – is fundamental for youth development. Different research traditions developed independent theoretical frameworks conceiving the dimensions underlying social status, and this led to identifying a variety of peer status prototypes. In this work, we explored whether a classification based on the four dimensions of popularity, aggression, dislike, and victimization could integrate the scattered peer status profiles found in the different traditions. A latent profile analysis on 16,224 European students identified the peer status prototypes of popular, bullies, disliked, victims, and average students. Both the peer- and self-reported correlates supported that the five profiles accounted for the large variety of the students' profiles in the literature. These findings suggest that the adoption of a multidimensional approach supported by advanced statistical procedures could identify students' peer status profiles more effectively, replacing classifications based on cutoffs, and leading to a unified students' classification.

This article, which draws on three waves (2005, 2010, 2015) of the European Working Conditions Survey, examines the nature and prevalence of different job types in a representative sample of employees in 30 European countries (N = 59,839) and investigates their change over time. Using self-organizing map, sampled employees were first grouped into seven job types, based on similar job features in the following dimensions: physical environment, work intensity, working time quality, social environment, skill and discretion, and earnings and prospects. Subsequently, the resulting job types were validated by linear regression models on outcomes that are indicative of job quality, such as well-being and job satisfaction. Finally, space-time variations in the distribution of job types were explored using a two-stage formulation model that contrasted universalistic and institutional explanations of change. Results indicate that three clusters of countries could be distinguished, which only partially fit into existing regime classifications: i) the Northern cluster (Scandinavian countries); ii) the Central and Western cluster (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Estonia, but also the UK, Ireland and Malta); and iii) the Southern and Eastern cluster (Mediterranean countries including Cyprus and Turkey, the former socialist EU member states, Latvia, and Lithuania). These clusters present specific patterns of change in the distribution of job types that are more closely related to the change in the national economic situation and the employment structure than to institutional variation.

O parcelamento da adubação nitrogenada poderá aumentar o uso do nutriente pelas plantas, Avaliou o efeito do parcelamento da adubação nitrogenada no desenvolvimento e produtividade da rúcula. O estudo foi realizado no ano de 2017 em casa de vegetação no município de Nova Mutum-MT. Foi utilizado o delineamento inteiramente casualizado (DIC), sendo cinco tratamentos e quatro repetições. Os tratamentos foram constituídos pelos modos de aplicação de N-fertilizante, sendo: T1) testemunha (sem N, T2) 100% do N-aplicado no plantio; T3) 17,64% de N no plantio + uma cobertura com 82,36%; T4) 17,64% de N no plantio + duas coberturas de 41,17%; T5) 17,64% de N no plantio + três cobertura com 27,41%. Avaliaou: a altura de plantas, número de folhas totais, número de folhas comerciais, massa verde e seca das raízes, além da massa verde e seca da parte aérea das plantas de rúcula. O uso do parcelamento da adubação nitrogenada na cultura da rúcula afeta de forma positiva a produção de matéria fresca e seca. Com as características de cultivo mencionadas no referido trabalho, recomenda-se o parcelamento da adubação nitrogenada em três coberturas na cultura da rúcula para obtenção de uma maior produção.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai persepsi siswa tentang: kepribadian guru yang mantap dan stabil, kepribadian guru yang dewasa, kepribadian guru yang arif, kepribadian guru yang berwibawa, serta kepribadian guru yang berakhlak mulia dan dapat menjadi teladan di SMPN 31 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasinya seluruh siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan IX yang berjumlah 766 orang siswa SMPN 31 Padang. Sampel berjumlah 112 orang, diambil menggunakan teknik stratified proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner atau angket model skala Likert yang telah diuji cobakan untuk melihat validitas dan reliabilitasnya pada tingkat kepercayaan 5%. Yang hasilnya dari 50 item pernyataan, 40 item valid dan 5 item invalid, kemudian direvisi yang invalid serta dinyatakan reliabel. Data diolah menggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang: (a) kepribadian guru yang mantap dan stabil 4,2, (b) kepribadian guru yang dewasa 4,0, (c) kepribadian guru yang arif 4,1, (d) kepribadian guru yang berwibawa 4,1, serta (e) kepribadian guru yang berakhlak mulia dan dapat menjadi teladan 4,3. Jadi persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi kepribadian guru di SMPN 31 Padang sudah terlaksana dengan baik yaitu dengan skor rata-rata 4,1.

Through the case study of a patient assisted by health professionals of a service specialized in mental health for drug users, it is analyzed before and after the restructuring of this service when receiving resources from the financing of public policies of the Plan to Combat Crack, Alcohol and Other Drugs. The profile of the expected patient differs from the profile of the patient seen, creating difficulties for professionals and the institution itself in caring for this patient and creating obstacles in the referral through the available care network. Thus, it highlights the moral classifications that permeate the daily life of health services, as well as their implications on the lives of users, highlighting the prejudice and stigma (PARKER; AGGLETON, 2001) suffered by those who pass through this network. This situation generates consequences in health/disease care practices, making us reflect on the challenges related to the stigma experienced in the field of health in order to directly rebut the fundamental questions about guaranteeing the human rights of the most vulnerable (MONTEIRO; VILELLA, 2013) . In this way, it is possible to point to the limits of the institutionalized discrimination process that must be intended in the provision of quality – and public – health care for the majority of the population (MONTEIRO; VILELLA; KNAUTH, 2012)., A través del estudio de caso de un paciente atendido por profesionales de la salud de un servicio especializado en salud mental para usuarios de drogas, se analiza el antes y el después de la reestructuración de este servicio al recibir recursos del financiamiento de políticas públicas del Plan de Combate al Crack, Alcohol. y otras drogas. El perfil del paciente esperado difiere del perfil del paciente visto, creando dificultades para los profesionales y la propia institución en la atención de este paciente y creando obstáculos en la derivación a través de la red de atención disponible. Así, destaca las clasificaciones morales que permean el cotidiano de los servicios de salud, así como sus implicaciones en la vida de los usuarios, destacando el prejuicio y el estigma (PARKER; AGGLETON, 2001) que sufren quienes transitan por esa red. Esta situación genera consecuencias en las prácticas de atención a la salud/enfermedad, haciéndonos reflexionar sobre los desafíos relacionados con el estigma vivido en el campo de la salud para rebatir directamente las cuestiones fundamentales sobre la garantía de los derechos humanos de los más vulnerables (MONTEIRO; VILELLA, 2013). De esta forma, es posible señalar los límites del proceso de discriminación institucionalizada que debe pretenderse en la prestación de una atención de salud pública y de calidad para la mayoría de la población (MONTEIRO; VILELLA; KNAUTH, 2012)., Através do estudo de caso de um paciente atendido por profissionais de saúde de um serviço especializado em saúde mental para usuários de drogas, analisa-se antes e depois da reestruturação desse serviço ao receber recursos do financiamento de políticas públicas do Plano de Enfrentamento ao Crack, Álcool e Outras Drogas. O perfil de paciente esperado destoa do perfil de paciente atendido gerando dificuldades para os profissionais e a própria instituição no atendimento desse paciente e criando entraves no encaminhamento pela rede de atenção disponível. Assim, evidencia as classificações morais que permeiam o cotidiano dos serviços de saúde, bem como suas implicações sobre a vida dos usuários, destaca-se o preconceito e estigma (PARKER; AGGLETON, 2001) sofrido por quem passa por essa rede. Essa situação gera consequências nas práticas de cuidados com a saúde/doença nos fazendo refletir sobre os desafios relacionados ao estigma vivido no âmbito da saúde a fim de rebater diretamente as questões fundamentais sobre garantia dos direitos humanos dos mais vulneráveis (MONTEIRO; VILELLA, 2013). Dessa forma, é possível apontar para os limites do processo de discriminação institucionalizada que devem ser tencionados no atendimento de uma saúde com qualidade – e pública – para a maior parte da população (MONTEIRO; VILELLA; KNAUTH, 2012).

Rationale Stress represents a major contributor to the development of mental illness. Accordingly, exposure of adult rats to chronic stress represents a valuable tool to investigate the ability of a pharmacological intervention to counteract the adverse effects produced by stress exposure. Objectives The aim of this study was to perform a time course analysis of the treatment with the antipsychotic drug lurasidone in normalizing the anhedonic phenotype in the chronic mild stress (CMS) model in order to identify early mechanisms that may contribute to its therapeutic activity. Methods Male Wistar rats were exposed to CMS or left undisturbed for 7 weeks. After two weeks of stress, both controls and CMS rats were randomly divided into two subgroups that received vehicle or lurasidone for five weeks. Weekly measures of sucrose intake were recorded to evaluate anhedonic behavior, and animals were sacrificed at different weeks of treatment for molecular analyses. Results We found that CMS-induced anhedonia was progressively improved by lurasidone treatment. Interestingly, after two weeks of lurasidone treatment, 50% of the animals showed a full recovery of the phenotype, which was associated with increased activation of the prefrontal and recruitment of parvalbumin-positive cells that may lead to a restoration of excitatory/inhibitory balance. Conclusion These results suggest that the capacity of lurasidone to normalize anhedonia at an early stage of treatment may depend on its ability to modulate the function of the prefrontal cortex.

This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the Kue Sapik Gula Aren as a support for the tourist attraction of South Solok Regency. The research method used is through a qualitative approach using the SWOT analysis method and the data used in this study are primary and secondary data, data collection techniques by observation and interviews. The data obtained from the results of data collection is then analyzed using SWOT analysis to find out what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the Kue Sapik Gula Aren as asupporting tourist attraction in South Solok Regency. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Kue Sapik Gula Aren has the strengths (1) it has a unique taste that comes from palm sugar (2) Kue Sapik Gula Aren can only be found in South Solok (3) has been certified halal from the MUI, and the opportunity (1) can be a support for new tourist attractions in South Solok Regency (2) promote traditional culinary (3) promote the economy of the surrounding community. With these strengths and opportunities, can take advantage of existing opportunities while minimizing weaknesses and also being able to overcome various kinds of threats from the Kue Sapik Gula Aren. Thus, this Kue Sapik Gula Aren can be used as a support for the tourist attraction of South Solok Regency.

Abstract Objective Despite Canada being an important energy producer, not all Canadians can access or afford adequate levels of energy services at home to meet their needs, maintain healthy indoor temperatures, and live a decent life—a situation known as energy poverty. Depending on the measure, 6–19% of Canadian households face energy poverty. Health risks associated with energy poverty are documented in countries with milder climates. This study explores, for the first time in the Canadian context, the association between energy poverty and health. Methods Cross-sectional data are from the 2018 Canadian Housing Survey. Analyses are conducted on a sample weighted to represent 14 million Canadian households. The associations between expenditure-based and self-reported measures of energy poverty and self-rated general and mental health were assessed using logistic regression models, adjusted for potential confounding variables. Results The odds of rating one’s general (OR: 1.48; 95%CI: 1.29, 1.70) and mental (OR: 1.21; 1.04, 1.41) health as poor are significantly higher for Canadian adults in households with a high share of energy expenditure to income. The likelihood of poor general and mental health was significantly higher for those dissatisfied with the energy efficiency of their dwelling, and with their ability to maintain a comfortable temperature both in the winter and in the summer. Conclusion Exposure to energy poverty is associated with significantly increased likelihood of poor general and mental health. Given the high proportion of Canadian households facing energy poverty, with demonstrated implications for population health, tackling energy poverty is essential for an equitable energy transition and for climate resilience.
