Search

Growing demands on evidence-based teaching, combined with increasing business involve-ment, constitute a transformation of education in which research and research collaborations have become commodities and selling points for companies. This article, building on interviews with 30 Swedish edupreneurs, explores how the discursive trope of the Triple Helix organises collaborations between the business sector, research, and school. In what ways do people in edu-business use research and research collaborations and what kinds of values do they expect to produce through different practices? The study identifies five approaches to research - philanthropists, influencers, ambassadors, brokers, and engineers - and describe the edupreneurs' manifold ways of using, relating to, and translating research into sellable products. Using the theoretical lens of assetization, we show how different values are produced: (1) economic - strengthening the company's brand; (2) pedagogical - changing teaching practices; (3) political - lobbying for policy change and changing public conversations; (4) academic - defining useful research and funding research, and (5) social - building networks. We conclude that the striving for Triple Helix collaborations preserves the entrepreneurial right to define useful research and providing legitimacy through the power of research, an important asset on the edu-market. The CARe Burn Scales are a portfolio of burn-specific PROMs for people affected by burns, including a Child Form (for children &lt, 8 years (parent-proxy)), a Young Person Form (for young people aged 8–17 years), an Adult Form, and a Parent Form (for parents/carers of children aged 0–17 years). This study aimed to determine the responsiveness and minimal important difference (MID) values of the three scales developed for use in paediatric burn services and research. Participants were recruited by 15 UK Burn Services. Participants completed the appropriate CARe Burn Scale and a set of appropriate comparison validated measures, at three time points: 4 weeks (T1), 3 months (T2) and 6 months (T3) post-burn injury. Spearman’s correlation analysis and effect sizes based on Cohen’s d thresholds were reported and MID values were calculated. At baseline, 250 participants completed the Child Form, 69 completed the Young Person Form, and 320 completed the Parent Form. A total of 85–92% of participants were retained at follow up. The tested CARe Burn Scales were all responsive to change over time. MID values were created for all subscales and ranged from 2 to 11 for the Child Form, 3 to 14 for the Young Person Form and 3 to 10 for the Parent Form. The CARe Burn Scales for children, young people and parents are responsive to change over time. The scales are freely available for clinical and research use.

Skin cancers are strongly linked to personal exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, yet UV exposure is also the most preventable risk factor. People are exposed to UV rays when they engage in outdoor activities, particularly exercise, which is an important health behavior. Thus, researchers and the general public have shown increasing interest in measuring UV exposure using wearable sensors during outdoor physical activity. However, minimal research exists at the intersection of UV sensors, personal exposure, adaptive behavior due to exposures, and risk of skin damage. Recent years have seen an influx of new consumer-based and research-based UV-sensing technologies with wide-ranging form factors and purposes to fill this research gap, yet a thorough review of available sensors for specific purposes does not exist. Hence, the overall goal of this state-of-the-art review is to synthesize the current academic and gray literature surrounding personal UV-sensing technologies. Peer-reviewed journal articles and "gray literature," such as working papers, manuals, and UV sensor websites, were reviewed, assessing attributes of UV wearables marketed for research use, personal use, or both. Overall, 13 wearable UV sensors are available for personal use and/or research applications. These sensors vary from electronic to photochromic, with large differences in price, data outputs, accuracy, and precision. Recommendations are provided for which sensors are most suitable for various types of research or public use. Notably, the review findings will help guide researchers in future studies assessing UV exposure during physical activity.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji hubungan antara risiko likuiditas, risiko kredit dan kinerja keuangan, melalui penerapan konsep nilai catur purusa artha sebagai dasar pengelolaan risiko, pada BUMDes Dwi Tunggal Kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa risiko likuiditas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Sedangkan risiko kredit tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Implementasi nilai catur purusa artha dengan dharma sebagai dasar pengelolaan risiko, mendorong pengelola BUMDes, mempunyai komitmen yang sama dalam membangun kesadaran pengendalian risiko. Strategi inilah yang akhirnya menekan risiko kredit, yang menyebabkan turunnya NPL dan risiko likuiditas tetap terjaga.

The research purpose is to describe grammatical categories, grammatical forms, and survival of medicinal plant lexicon in the Kitab Primbon Betaljemur Adammakna (KPBA). Then explain relationship of that medicinal plants with life of Javanese people. This research use exploratory sequential mix method consists first phase, data collection using documentation techniques and analyzed by morphological theory, while the second phase is collecting data using questionnaires and analyzed by scoring techniques, then interpreted and concluded. The research data is chapter 75 of KPBA which was chosen because it contains dominant medicinal plant lexicon. The research results include (1) from 32 lexicon of medicinal plants found, all of them are categorized as grammatical nouns and grammatical forms of basic words, while their survival shows 13 safe lexicon, 7 threatened lexicon, and 12 missing lexicon; (2) relationship between that medicinal plants with life of Javanese people is culturally very close, as indicated by intense use of medicinal plant in all phases of life, as well as the abundance of Jamu lexemes and how to process medicinal plants. On the other hand, by spiritually and religiously the application of medicinal plants as Jamu always involves power of God and Javanese numerological calculations.

Radiocarbon (14C) is an isotopic tracer used to address a wide range of scientific research questions. However, contamination by elevated levels of 14C is deleterious to natural-level laboratory workspaces and accelerator mass spectrometer facilities designed to precisely measure small amounts of 14C. The risk of contaminating materials and facilities intended for natural-level 14C with elevated-level 14C-labeled materials has dictated near complete separation of research groups practicing profoundly different measurements. Such separation can hinder transdisciplinary research initiatives, especially in remote and isolated field locations where both natural-level and elevated-level radiocarbon applications may be useful. This paper outlines the successful collaboration between researchers making natural-level 14C measurements and researchers using 14C-labeled materials during a subglacial drilling project in West Antarctica (SALSA 2018–2019). Our strict operating protocol allowed us to successfully carry out 14C labeling experiments within close quarters at our remote field camp without contaminating samples of sediment and water intended for natural level 14C measurements. Here we present our collaborative protocol for maintaining natural level 14C cleanliness as a framework for future transdisciplinary radiocarbon collaborations.

Performance of employees is the key for the success of the company. This study makes the calculation about how the implementation of occupational health, safety, and the regulation of the company will affect the employee’s performance. This research use 74 respondents from many contractor company in Jakarta, and the analysis of the data use SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) software. The result from this research found that the 3 variables independent can explain 63.2% from dependent variable (employee’s performance), where variables occupational health and regulation have positive correlation with employee’s performance with contribution of each variables 6.6% and 61.9% while variable safety has negative correlation with the dependent variable with contribution of -5.3%. Puppet animation is a modification of the appearance of puppet shows into a learning medium, especially for anecdote text material. This study aims to determine the utilization of puppet animation media for students anecdote writing skills. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 36 anecdote texts written by students of Grade X Social Science 3 of the State Senior High School 11 of South Tangerang City, Academic Year 2020/2021. Data collection techniques in this research use four ways, such as observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The assessment aspects used in this study are content, structure, language, as well as spelling and mechanics.This results indicate that there was a positive influence and anecdote writing skills of students using puppet animation media with an average grade of 83, which is well qualified. This proves that in general, students are capable in writing anecdote text well with puppet animation media .

Previous research on U.S. federal promotion of evidence-based programming has focused on evidence-based program registries and concludes their usefulness is undermined by prioritizing internal validity over external validity. This research explores how federal funding programs are actually promoting funded nonprofit organizations’ evidence use instead of what we might infer from registries alone. An inductively developed conceptual framework is applied to describe all 53 fiscal year (FY) 2019 social service funding programs that include nonprofit organizations among the eligible applicants, finding they promote multiple types of evidence use, with generally low coerciveness, and with applicants frequently co-determining what counts as evidence. These findings point to promotion of evidence use that balances evidence-driven prescriptiveness and enabling nonprofits’ innovation.

This study aims to describe the role of Islamic financial institutions in the empowerment of micro, small and medium enterprises. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that BSM helps UMKM business progress through financing with competitive profit sharing and supports UMKM business development through programs, such as the blessing of Ramadan with very light profit sharing, year-end programs as well as light profit sharing and also finance the renovation of business premises, procurement merchandise, and procurement of tools and facilities and infrastructure for business.

This study aims to describe and determine marketing strategies in maintaining customer loyalty on deposit products at BMT UGT Sidogiri Kraksaan Sub-Branch. Besides that, the aim of this study is to find out what achievements and obstacles exist in BMT UGT Kraksaan sub-branch in maintaining customer loyalty. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The results of this study are the marketing strategy used by BMT UGT Sidogiri Kraksaan sub-branch, which prioritizes employee friendliness and responsiveness, where in this study the responsive attitude shown by BMT UGT Sidogiri Kraksaan sub-branch is always accommodating complaints from customers for the good of BMT in the future.

Early initiation of breastfeeding is an effort to provide colostrum which is rich protective factors. This study aimed to determine the effect of early initiation of breastfeeding on breastmilk volume. This research use quasi experimental. The results showed that the Mann-Whitney test obtained a value of p=0.000 < of α=0.05, there was an effect on breastmilk volume in mothers who did early initiation of breastfeeding. Implementation of early initiation of breastfeeding in case group was 100% otherwise not done in control group, the duration 64% hasn’t been standardized, the breastmilk volume on the third day after early breastfeeding initiation was categorized sufficient (56%) and a lot 40%, which was not 76% breastmilk volume is lacking, there is a difference on breastmilk volume in mothers who have early initiation of breastfeeding and do not have. There is an effect on breastmilk production. It is expected that the role of midwives in providing information to mothers before giving birth about the importance of early breasfeeding initiation. It is expected that midwives will emphasize more on the duration of skin to skin contact, according to minimum standards of 1 hour, Rumkit Tk II Prof. Dr. J.A. Latumeten is expected to do early initiation of breastfeeding as a fixed procedure in the maternity room.

And sig t < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05). Then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that the partial variables Role Performance of Customer service have a significant influence on the variable Customer Satisfaction. Variable Role Performance of the Teller to the Satisfaction of the Customer Based on the results of testing for X2, i.e., the Role Performance of the Teller obtained by value t calculate namely 3.242 which means t count > t table (3.242 > 2.01174). And sig t < 0.05 (0.002 < 0.05). Then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that the partial variables Role of the Performance of the Teller has a significant influence on the variable Customer Satisfaction. Diabetes melitus type 2 is one of the non contagious chronic disease that the number of it patient continue to rise over the time in Indonesia. Fundamentally, this disease cannot be healed but could be managed to prevent complications. Patient with diabetes melitus type 2 frequently got limitations in their work such as discrimination at their workplace, risk of decreased productivity, and increased absence on their treatment. Those things are affecting to the most of the patient that have more than 45 years of age and they are on the top of their career. This research has an objective to get an overview of stress and their strategy of cope with it because stress has a major impact to their health condition. This research use qualitative approach with the purposive sampling. The characteristics of this research are patient with diabetes melitus type 2 disease, has 41 to 60 years of age who has done the self-care, and work in Jakarta. Result shows that participants suffer stress from the treatment of the disease although their performance productivity does not decrease. Participants use the strategy of combining problem focused coping mostly planful problem solving type and emotion focused coping such as seeking social support to manage their stress level.

Se describen las diferentes aplicaciones que puede tener la versión argentina de la escala Vocal Tract Discomfort (VTD), herramienta de autovaloración de síntomas o sensaciones que pueden presentarse en sujetos con alteraciones de la voz o en riesgo de presentarlas. Esta herramienta ha sido adaptada de su versión original en inglés y validada al español argentino para su utilización en detección de sujetos en riesgo vocal, para complementar el diagnóstico subjetivo y objetivo de la voz, para monitorear las sensaciones del paciente en la terapéutica y para poder comparar y discutir con resultados de investigaciones en diferentes países del mundo; donde también ha sido validada para su uso clínico e investigativo.

A descriptive-quantitative study was conducted to compare two methods of analysis. A quantitative-descriptive research was carried out on the perception of digital technology as a support tool in teaching. A standardized questionnaire was applied to identify the following dimensions of technology use: frequency, benefits, infrastructure, and perception of institutional policies. The analysis was carried out with arithmetic means and with categorical principal component analysis (PCA). The results in both methods indicate that teachers who conduct research use digital technology the most, while experimental teachers use it the least. The PCA method is more robust and allows to obtain the reliability of the results obtained, its use is recommended on the basic statistical analysis to increase the validity of the results.

This research wants to know the potential use of podcasts as providers of da'wah content. Da'wah is one of the mandatory processes of humans in living their lives. Da'wah activities will experience changes and adjustments along with the development of human life. Da'wah is everything that can be done at any time, place and condition including in the covid-19 pandemic. Podcasts become one of the alternative mediums of community or individual in spreading the treatises on Islamic values. This research used descriptive qualitative research method with literature study type. The conclusion of this research is that Podcasts are quite capable and suitable as a medium for disseminating da'wah with a note that they must develop relevant strategies that can improve their existences.

Generally this research aiming to know the effectiveness of vehicle tax collection in Shared Office : One Roof System Office located in Gowa Districts. This research use descriptive research method that objectively give the correct description or explanation related to the real condition of the research object. The data collection techniques that is used are interview and observation. in shared office : One Roof System Office in GowaDistricts is already effective in vehicle tax collection. Although, there are still many obstacles were encountered. One of it is the lack of awareness of the citizens to pay the tax on time which result in taxpayers pile up the vehicle tax payments. But, in payment procedure of vehicle tax is already good because it does not take a long time in vehicle tax paymentmatter.

This study aims to describe the effect of visionary leadership, communication and compensation on employee performance at PT. Bintang Mandiri Abadi Jaya Medan. This research was conducted for 7 (seven) months, start from February 2019 until August 2019. This research use descriptive and quantitative methods. The respondents of this research are all employee at PT. Bintang Mandiri Abadi Jaya Medan which amounted to 83 (eighty three) employee. The instrument is used a questionnaire to collent data from visionary leadership variable, communication variable, compensation variable and employee performance variable. Data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, normality test, heteroskedasticity test, multicolinearity test,multiple linear regression analysis, multiple linear correlation coefficient test, partial hypothesis test ot t test, simultaneous hypothesis test or f test, and calculation of coefficient of determination. The result of descriptive analysis for visionary leadership variable, communication variable, compensation variable and employee performance are in good category at PT. Bintang Mandiri Abadi Jaya Medan. Based on partial analysis, visionary leadership, communication and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bintang Mandiri Abadi Jaya Medan. Simultaneously, visionary leadership, communication, compensation have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT. Bintang Mandiri Abadi Jaya Medan. The contribution of visionary leadership variable, communication variable and compensation variable to improve the employee performance variable is 0,805 or 80,5 %, while rest of 0,195 or 19,5 % influenced by other variable not examined by writer in this research, such as work commitment, work enviroment, work discipline, work motivation, job satisfaction and another else.

The aims of this research are producing the test instrument of mathematics skill on elementary school which is valid and reliable. The instrument test development in this research use the development model of Wilson, Oriondo and Antonio which is modified. The number of testing sample in this research is 160 of students in each class. This research result: 1) the validity index of aiken v is 0.979 in grade IV and 0.988 in grade V. The coefficient of instrument skill in class IV and V are 0.883 and 0.954. The case indicates that the overall item is accepted and reliable to be used for measuring the development of mathematics skill of elementary school students.

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of synchronism of planning and budgeting, human resources quality, and organizational commitment on government of performance of Central Bengkulu Regency. The samples of this study are 117 respondents. Data analysis in this research use descriptive statistic and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) the synchronism of planning and budgeting has a positive influence on government of performance of Central Bengkulu Regency; (2) the human resources quality has a positive influence on government of performance of Central Bengkulu Regency; and (3) the organizational commitment has a positive influence on government of performance of Central Bengkulu Regency.

This study aims to describe the strategy for implementing online and offline learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD Negeri Sugihan 03, Bendosari. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The informants in this were teachers and students of grade VI SD Negeri Sugihan 03. The data collection techniques used included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the learning implementation strategy during the Covid-19 pandemic includes 1) door-to-door or the teacher visiting each student's house. 2) students come directly to school to take questions. 3) students attend school on alternate schedules during the pandemic.

State education agencies play critically important roles in promoting research use in education. They influence policy design and implementation, collect data about schools and districts, and can use their statewide reach to advance research use within the state agency and in districts. As Carrie Conaway explains, the states that have done the most to advance research use for systems improvement have built research infrastructures, used both existing research and local data to spur improvement, and formed close partnerships with researchers.

The governance of ethically acceptable research in higher education institutions has been under scrutiny over the past half a century. Concomitantly, recently, decision makers have required researchers to acknowledge the societal impact of their research, as well as anticipate and respond to ethical dimensions of this societal impact through responsible research and innovation principles. Using artificial intelligence population health research in the United Kingdom and Canada as a case study, we combine a mapping study of journal publications with 18 interviews with researchers to explore how the ethical dimensions associated with this societal impact are incorporated into research agendas. Researchers separated the ethical responsibility of their research with its societal impact. We discuss the implications for both researchers and actors across the Ethics Ecosystem.

From this method, researcher analyzed former data in order to understand several Munif Chatib’s cogitation about child education and it relevancy with child education in Islam. Objectives: Explore how judges and attorneys define, acquire, interpret (i.e., determine the accuracy and relevancy), and use research in their decision-making in delinquency cases. Methods: We conducted semi-structured interviews with 30 judges, 15 prosecutors, and 13 defense attorneys. We used stratified purposeful sampling, stratifying participants by region of the U.S. and urbanicity. Results: Judges and attorneys have a sound understanding of how research can enhance their work. Typically, judges and attorneys acquire research from intermediaries. Beyond being a conduit for research, intermediaries play an important role in vetting the quality of research and identifying viable recommendations for practice. While practitioners are willing to use research, they feel that their ability to do so is limited by factors such as state policy, funding, and inaccessibility of research. Conclusions: While we caution generalization of the findings, this study contributes to the evidence-base on the use of research by documenting that judges and attorneys most often use research conceptually (i.e., research changes their perspective which then changes their behavior). Although respondents also reported using research-based tools to make specific decisions (instrumental use), many reported overriding research when they felt it conflicted with their judgment, suggesting that political use of research may be prevalent.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran tematik di SD N Kemasan 1 Polokarto meliputi1) berpusat pada peserta didik. 2) memberikan pengalaman langsung pada peserta didik (direct experiences) 3) pemisahan antara mata pelajaran tidak begitu nyata dan jelas. 4) menyajikan suatu konsep dari berbagai mata pelajaran dalam suatu proses pembelajaran 5) fleksibel atau luwes. 6) hasil pembelajaran sesuai dengan minat dan kebutuhan siswa sebab siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk mengoptimalkan potensinya sesuai dengan keinginannya.

This study aims: (1) To determine how the instructional design of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Negeri 20 Medan. (2) To find out how the implementation of Islamic Religious Education teacher teaching at SMP Negeri 20 Medan. (3) To find out what the teaching media for the Islamic Religious Education teacher at SMP Negeri 20 Medan. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out, namely examining all data, reducing data, presenting data, and concluding existing data.

This thesis aims to know the completed learning results of students after the study model of Course Review Horay applied to the science subjects of grade IV SD Negeri Bangunrejo. The research method used by quasy-experiment. Data collection techniques in research use tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques with steps: average score and standard deviation, normality test and z test. The results showed the results of studying the IPA of grade IV students of SD Negeri Bangunrejo after the Course Review Horay model was significantly completed.

Mushroom is one of the main commodities of agroindustry which experienced an increase in production due to the existence of consumer awareness to consume healthy products. The popularity causes the development of the mushroom processing industries in Malang. To improve the quality of products, mushroom SMEs need to further develop the company performance. Company performance can be achieved with an effective competitive advantage. Competitive advantage is a factor that a company should have in order to succeed in business. The fundamental source of competitive advantage is assets. This research use a Barney’s theory in determining strategic resources to achieve competitive competitiveness called Resource-Based View (RBV). The purpose of this research are to determine the influence of: (1) tangible assets on competitive advantage strategy, (2) intangible assets on competitive advantage strategy, (3) company capability on competitive advantage strategy, and (4) competitive advantage strategy on company performance. The exploration techniques utilised are quantitative and Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that the tangible assets and company capability have a strong influence and positively contribute to competitive advantage strategy, meanwhile intangible assets have a weak influence and negatively contribute to competitive advantage strategy, and competitive advantage strategy has a strong influence and positively contributes to company performance.

While fecal incontinence and constipation can be measured through physiological testing, the subjective experience of severity and impact on health-related quality of life lead to both being most effectively captured through patient-reported measures. Patient-reported measures of severity and impact help to determine baseline symptoms, guide clinical decision making, and compare various treatments. Here, we take pause to review the psychometric qualities that make effective instruments, and discuss some of the most commonly used instruments along with the reasons behind their use. In addition, we highlight the benefits of a standardized instrument designed to evaluate the major symptoms of patients presenting with pelvic floor disorders (including fecal incontinence and constipation). Ultimately, we aim to provide guidance in choosing appropriate instruments for clinical and research use.

Communication and informatics office of west Sumatra make efforts to increase employees’ working effectiveness in achieving working target. However, there are specific problems in working implementation. The problems are teamwork among the employees, working facilities is not supported, and lack of field specialization. This research use descriptive quantitative method that is aims to know the influence between independent variable (working culture) towards dependent variable (employees’ working effectiveness). The population of this research is employee of Communication and informatics office of west Sumatra that is 47 employees. This research use total sampling which the total sample is equal to total population. The result of this research show significance effect partially and simultaneously between working culture towards employees’ working effectiveness as big as 24,4%.

Stunting (dwarf) is a condition where toddlers have a length or height that is less than age. This condition is measured by size or size which is more than minus two median, standard deviations of the child growth standard of the WHO. Stunting toddlers include chronic nutrition problems caused by many factors such as socio-economic conditions, maternal nutrition during pregnancy, pain in infants, and lack of nutritional intake in infants. The type of research use is pre – experimental with one group design pretest posttest design where the design is no control group. The population of this studi were children who ages under 59 month. Technique samping uses probability sampling with purposive sampling method. Weight measurements were carried out before and after the supplementary food intervention, during the supplementary food intervention and keeping in mind the energy and protein consumption of food other than the supplementary food. he results showed that changes in weight status of children under five according to age indicated that there was a change in weight status of children, namely 2 children became malnourished and 13 others were still in the category of acute malnutrition. The results showed that there were differences in the Weight for Age (WAZ) index status before and after complementary foods.

The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of Halal Certification, Brand Image and Price on the purchasing decision process of students to brand of Tea Bottles “Sosro” (Case Study at Islamic Village Higher Education). This research used quantitative methode . The population in this study were students who had or frequently consumed Sosro Bottle Tea products. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 87 respondents. This research use d multiple linear regression analysis method, with SPSS 25 software. The results showed that the Halal Certification and Brand Image had a positive and significant effect on the decision to buy “ Sosro ” tea bottles for Islamic Vil l age Higher Education students, while the price had a positive and insignificant effect on the decision to purchase Teh Botol Sosro for Islamic Village Higher Education students, as well as certification. halal, Brand Image and Price simultaneously influence d the Purchase Decision of Sosro Bottled Tea Drink.

The Ngelukar and Ngilahan Kaoq rite are religious and cultural ceremonies performed by Balinese Hindus and Sasak Muslims in Lingsar Village. The aim of this study is to analyze the communicative actions of the Sasak people in the Ngelukar and Ngilahan Kaoq rite as interethnic socio-cultural integration. This research use d qualitative methods with a case study design and the data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis use d Habermas's theory of communicative action. The results showed that both Hindus and Muslims through this ritual could build the concept of interfaith togetherness, which is actualized for survival. Through the social communication , this can shape the actions to maintain the tradition of both adherents (Hindu and Muslim) according to the prevailing rules and values in the Ngelukar and Ngilahan Kaoq rituals. This ritual activity is a form of the communicative rationality actions by the Sasak people.

Nurses as one of health workers in the hospital having an important role in achieving health development goals. The success of health services depends on the participation of nurses to provide high quality care nursing for patients. This research is quantitative and using cross sectional design. The purpose of this research is to see what factors that can influence over the performance of nurses of emergency room in Bunda Thamrin Hospital Medan 2018. This research use total sampling or exhaustic sampling and The source data of this research is using questionnaire and then followed by using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis, and multivariate analysis with SPSS program. The results of this research is that work load (p=0,000),strees of work (p=0,000),competention (p=0,000), insentive (p=0,000),length of working (p=0,000) have influences for performance of nurse. After multivariate analysis the most influence variable is work load (p=0,000. The result showed that there was correlation between work load, strees of work, competention, insentive, length of working has influences against work performances of nurse. Therefore, needs toimprovenursing service that can be made to improving the performance of nurses with increased knowledge through education nursing sustainable and improving skills nursing is absolutely necessary. The arrangement of a work conducive environment so important, so that nurses can work effectively and efficiently .Creating a work that could lead to a nurse to do the best.

Problems during the learning process at SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe are students are less attentive and lack understanding in understanding computer subject, especially building LAN networks. Computer Subject is considered one of the most difficult materials to learn, however multimedia major that they choose should use a computer. therefore, relies on the problem, this research aims to improve the students learning outcome, students’ activities during use schoology, and responses of students when using schoology as an elearning method. Type of this research is Classroom Action Research and the subject of this research is students class X Multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe with 26 students as participants. For collecting data this research use observations of student activities, evaluation tests and questionnaires to student. Result shown that students' learning outcomes improved, as shown from percentage students who completed KKM (minimum competence) in first cycle by 30.80% increased to 85% in the second cycle. the percentage of activity in the first cycle by 51.44% increased to 73.08% in the second cycle and the response of the learners in the poll gave a positive response the average percentage was 77.18% and the negative response percentage was 22.82%
