Results (p values) of t-test comparison of Talpa europaea braincase height between months with pooled age groups. We did not have any specimens from February.

Measurement error. We selected 10 mole skulls which were repeatedly measured (five times) by each observer. Table shows the measurement error as % of the mean standard deviation for each measurement. Abbreviations: MM = Marion Muturi, LN = Lucie Nováková; skull length (SKL), braincase height (SKH), braincase width (SKB), length of mandible (ML) and length of molar tooth row (MTR).
