Plant control system provides control of plant equipment and acquires information about the status of the equipment. It is desirable to reduce costs and save time for making plant control systems because they have a lot of control logics for interlocking etc. We have proposed a method to search plant control systems as a basis for customization. In proposed method plant system information which contains their functions and equipment is hierarchized. Using plant information the method searches plant control systems which provides a springboard to make new plant control systems. System integrators can effectively make new plant systems by customizing the searched systems.
