The most efficient and connected alternative for increasing the use of local renewable energy sources is a hybrid microgrid, these systems face additional challenges due to the integration of power electronics, energy storage technologies and traditional power plants. The hybrid alternating current-direct current (AC-DC) microgrid that is the subject of this research uses a primary-droop control system to regulate state variables and auxiliary services, thus, it is composed of batteries, solar panels and a miniature wind turbine (PDC) and controls how each energy source in a microgrid contributes to the final product. To achieve the given objectives, this paper will create appropriate models for each part of the microgrid design and define, among them, the energy storage batteries and power electronic converters required for each level of each of these systems. Finally, the dynamic nature of the system will be critically evaluated and characterized, to distribute the load and reduce imbalances, modify the primary drop of the resulting microgrid using MATLAB simulation.

Aim: To improve the detection rate of fungal disease in cabbage leaf images using the adaptive thresholding algorithm in terms of accuracy and sensitivity. Materials and methods: The accuracy and sensitivity of adaptive thresholding algorithm (n=272) was compared with thresholding algorithm (n=272) with p-value 0.8 and appears to be improved the detection rate of fungal disease in cabbage in terms of accuracy and sensitivity in the MATLAB simulation tool. Result: The adaptive thresholding algorithm has appeared to be accuracy (80.5%) and sensitivity (93.5%) than the thresholding algorithm accuracy(62.7%) and sensitivity(43.1%). Adaptive thresholding algorithm has appeared to be accuracy (p=0.26) and sensitivity (p=0.614) compared with the thresholding algorithm. Conclusion: It appears to be that the detection rate is better using adaptive thresholding algorithm compared with thresholding algorithm in terms of accuracy and sensitivity.

Aim: To detect the kidney stones in ultrasound images using median filters to improve the detection rate in terms of accuracy and sensitivity. Materials and Methods: The accuracy and sensitivity of median filter (n=114) was compared with rank filter (n=114). The median filter is used to detect the kidney stone in ultrasound images. 114 is the sample size taken with the p-value 0.8 and has been used to improve detection rate of kidney stones in terms of accuracy and sensitivity using Matlab simulation tool. Results: According to the results obtained Median filter has accuracy (86.4%) and rank filter has accuracy (82.2%) and also sensitivity of median filter (87.7%) and sensitivity of rank filter is (82.5%). Induction motor has special advantages because of less cost, reliable, robust and less maintenance when compared to other motors. It also has special features which satisfies all the requirements. On the whole 3-phase IM (Induction motor) plays major role in several applications (i.e. industrial, mechanical). The meticulous behavior of induction motor modeling and speed control can aid for controlling of machine application where flawless results can be obtained. The major faults in the IM effect the air gap flux, where the mathematical modeling can helpful to estimating the errors obtain while designing the motor. The paper represents the bit by bit implementation of 3-phase induction motor modeling and speed control using MATLAB simulation.

A new method of SPR signal amplification based on dynamic field enhancement at the sensor surface to detect C-reactive protein (CRP) is proposed. The gold nanoparticles-detection antibody (AuNPs-dAb) conjugates, as the dynamical agent, were applied to enhance the biosensor sensitivity. The mechanism of SPR sensitivity enhancement is due to the strong evanescent field coupling between the localized SPR (LSPR) of AuNPs and SPR of gold-silver alloy film which proved by COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB simulation. The biosensor sensitivity got with sandwich immunoassay (cAb/CRP/AuNPs-dAb) is 5.56-fold of the structure without AuNPs (cAb/CRP/dAb). Moreover, concentration of AuAg-SPR biosensor in CRP detection was lower for an order of magnitude than that of the conventional gold film cladding SPR (Au-SPR) biosensor, according to its direct reaction with the immobilized cAb. The dynamic field enhancement based AuAg-SPR biosensors have high sensitivity in detecting trace biomarker of CRP, and the improvement can also be applied to the detection of other biomarkers in low concentration sensitively.

To overcome the lack of robustness of the nonlinear dynamic inversion (NDI) control, a simple and practical adaptive NDI control method based on an improved piecewise constant is proposed in this paper to enhance its robustness to disturbances and improve the accuracy of response tracking. Firstly, reasonable assumptions and analyses are made for the system with the influence of disturbance. Secondly, an improved piecewise constant adaptive NDI control method suitable for general flight control systems is proposed. The stability of the control system with disturbance and the error convergence range of the improved piecewise constant adaptive control are proved and analyzed theoretically. Finally, taking into account the fighter actual control requirements, the angular rates control strategy is given, and the proposed method is applied to the angular rates flight controller design. Matlab simulations are carried out under the disturbance of the actuator failure and the sudden change of the center of gravity, and the robustness and dynamic performance of the controller designed based on the present method is compared and verified. The results illustrate that our present method has stronger robustness and higher control accuracy.

The paper discusses the development of a supervisory control system enabling automatic stabilization of output parameters of multi-pass heater at a crude distillation unit. The system develops setpoints for base-level flow controllers to optimize the process. System structure is offered, its implementation on the basis of smart controllers with fuzzy logic functionality is described, results of MATLAB simulation are included.

Modeling and simulation of real systems have become significantly useful in scientific and engineering practice in recent academic endeavors. An accurate modeling can cut down the laboratory resources and technical effort appreciably and contribute to the economical research. In this paper we are introducing a new MATLAB modeling of crystalline-Si solar cell which can accurately simulate the electrical properties of a p-n junction solar cell. The model is efficient to compute and depict the variation of performance parameters as a function of different input parameters. The comparative analysis has showed that the proposed MATLAB model can be useful and reliable.

In this paper, a dynamic power service restoration method for the distribution network with DG is proposed. The mathematical model of the power service restoration problem is analyzed and established. Based on the mathematical model, a two-stage dynamic power service restoration strategy is developed. In the proposed method, the initial power service restoration scheme can be obtained by solving the optimal model in the first stage. Then, the power service restoration scheme can be adjusted and updated according to the actual DG output power periodically by the rolling strategy in the second stage. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by a MATLAB simulation based case study. The computing speed of the proposed method is fast, which makes it have good practical application values and prospects.

The high-redundancy actuator (HRA) is a linear displacement actuation system, which consists of a large number of small electromechanical actuation elements arranged in a series and parallel configuration. The performance of a HRA with 9 direct-driven linear electromechanical actuators was analyzed under different fault conditions with the aid of the MATLAB simulation model. The results showed that the HRA has the capability to provide inherent fault-tolerance. Hence, the sudden failure of the system in the presence of fault was avoided. However, the capability of the actuator was found to be reduced gradually depending upon the number of faults.

In this study, a fractional order proportional integral derivative (FOPID) controller is designed to create the reference power trajectory and to conquer the uncertainties and external disturbances. A fractional nonlinear model was utilized to describe the nuclear reactor dynamic behaviour considering thermal-hydraulic effects. The controller parameters were tuned using optimization method in Matlab/Simulink. The FOPID controller was simulated using Matlab/Simulink and the controller performance was evaluated for Hard variation of the reference power and compared with that of integer order a proportional integral derivative (IOPID) controller by two models of fractional neutron point kinetic (FNPK) and classical neutron point kinetic (CNPK). Also, the FOPID controller robustness was appraised against the external disturbance and uncertainties. Simulation results showed that the FOPID controller has the faster response of the control attempt signal and the smaller tracking error with respect to the IOPID in tracking the reference power trajectory. In addition, the results demonstrated the ability of FOPID controller in disturbance rejection and exhibited the good robustness of controller against uncertainty.

The new trend in a remote sensing application is to replace the traditional single satellite with a set of low-cost, simple and short development time satellites. Satellite swarm consists of twelve CubeSats work as imaging nodes accompanied by a data-relay-satellite was proposed to fulfill Earth observation mission. In order to achieve the required mission performance, it is necessary to maintain the virtual structure of the satellite swarm over the mission lifetime. The external disturbances (e.g. Earth oblateness, atmospheric drag, and solar radiation pressure, etc.) cause a drift to the orbits of satellite warm; therefore, this disturbance can change the virtual topology of the satellite swarm. In order to keep the virtual topology of the satellite swarm, and to fulfill the mission requirements, it is required to maintain the orbits of all satellite swarm members all over its lifetime. Many researchers studied autonomous orbit control algorithms, such as PD, LQR, and sliding mode. In power system, frequency is one of the main factor which affects the A.C. system. In order to maintain the performance of the system, frequency need to be controlled on the generation part as well as load side. In this paper, fractional order PID (FOPID) controller is designed for the three-area load frequency control (LFC) in an interrelated power system (PS) in MATLAB simulation. The LFC of generating units have used in frequency control of the dissolute response in the power system. FOPID controller parameters are intended using the Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) for the minimize error. The prototype of generating units with FOPID controller is simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK platform. In this study, simulation researches on a three-area LFC with different generating units are considered. The objective function is the minimization of the Integral Squared Error (ISE) for the optimum strategy of FOPID parameters. These results presented that the FOPID controller was vital to the parameter variations in the considered system. The simulation results specialized much better performance of FOPID controller for LFC in comparison with other FOPID controllers available in the literature. FPA-FOPID Controller in the system as compared to the existing ICA-FOPID and GA-FOPID controller in literature. The result shows that the FPA result outperforms as compared with other results.

This paper represented a control strategy for photovoltaic (PV) system, this control strategy was referred to as a low voltage ride through (LVRT), it had been achieved by using three phase (3-PH) (PV) grid-connected system, where this paper discussed the way to achieve maximum output active power from the solar system, while the solar system remained connected to the grid with voltage decreasing controller techniques and this was valid until certain amount of voltage decreasing which was clarified in the results. The main goal of low voltage ride through depended on injecting reactive power to the grid, amount of the injected reactive power depended on regulations of the grid code using the control of the inverter and the strategy depended on the grid voltage drop amount. MATLAB simulation had been used to achieve what was mentioned above, which led to present various cases of achieving maximum output active power with grid voltage drops by using conventional proportional integral (PI) control of the inverter. Finally, another control method, which was proportional integral genetic algorithm (PI-GA), had been used to improve value of the generated output active power.

Smooth switching technology with a single-phase converter from AC to DC is existing in this work. A study of implementing a buck-batch converter was explored and the implementation details assessed. The system explaining the versatile balanced power control (VPBC) has advantages, the suggested boost buck processor is charged during the downtime; the voltage is relieved via the MOSFET switch. It has enhanced the power factor to 0.9715 at full load in further development. The advanced model of the AC to DC converter design will maintain stability and its reliability will depend on the average “charge” and “discharge” with the help of the VPBC-controlled current of the inductor, compensate automatically. Because of this process, a linear construction between line current and voltage is achieved by running normal work at regular intervals. As a result, they almost realized the PF at the input source. The output voltage of the planned for any load condition in the transformer model is always constant (0-1,000) watts. Suggested circuit has a great dynamic reaction. Suggested PFC circuit is usable for a range of loads. From the simulation, the efficiency of the suggested transformer is 91.11% upper at the rated load. Designed by MATLAB.

In order to overcome the shortcomings of the existing single terminal leakage protection methods, the leakage protection technology based on multi-terminal information should be studied. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of singlephase leakage faults in low-voltage distribution lines, a leakage protection method based on double terminal residual current sudden changes is proposed in this paper, which uses the amplitudes of the double-terminal residual current sudden changes of the protected section as the protection criteria. The protection will act when the double terminal criteria both meet the requirements of their respective setting thresholds. The realization processes and performances of the method are given in the paper. The double terminal residual current information of the protected section is comprehensively utilized by this method, which can effectively eliminate the influence of unbalanced leakage current of line during normal operation and other factors, reduce protection maloperation and improve the utilization rate of protection. It doesn't need multi-level protection delay coordination and has fast action speed; and it has low setting thresholds and high sensitivity. The effectiveness of the method is verified by MATLAB simulation.

In order to improve the multi station measurement accuracy of laser tracker, aiming at the problem that the measurement error of laser tracker restricts the transfer accuracy, the compensation method of measurement error of single laser tracker in multi-station measurement is studied in this paper. The compensated coordinate measurement values are substituted into the coordinate transformation model, and the weighted total least square method is used to iteratively solve the transfer parameters. The results are verified by Matlab simulation experiments. The results show that the mean square errors of coordinate points before and after compensation are respectively 0.4358μm and 0.2920μm. The data show that the measurement accuracy of the laser tracker is improved by 30%.

Energy consumption model of urban rail transit is a complex nonlinear system, both the modeling study was not fully considering the problem of low precision and energy consumption model, according to the above problem, this paper proposed to improve the traditional dynamic model of the improved model compared with the traditional model is more accurate, more in line with the actual operation of train. On this basis, this paper explores the influence of distance between stations and running time on running energy consumption, and obtains the influence factor model through the MATLAB simulation platform. Finally, a simulation study was conducted on a section of Nanning Metro Line 1 as an example to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the optimization model. The results show that the improved energy consumption model is 2.12% more accurate than the traditional model.

Speech recognition can be an important tool in today’s society for hand-free or voice-driven implementation. Using simple commands or triggers, it is possible for speech impaired human beings to communicate with increased ease of understanding. With the advent of various soft computing methods, a large class of nonlinearities can be handled. Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) have been applied in finding the solution for speech recognition. A lot of work is going on in this regard and mostly positive results have been achieved. Now, the research is being done to minimize the rate of error in obtaining the solution. In this paper, a comprehensive study of use of artificial neural networks in speech recognition is studied and proposes methods for training of the neural network so that an appropriate neural output can be obtained which is as close to the desired output. The paper demonstrates that ANN can indeed form the basis for a general-purpose speech recognition and neural network offers clear advantages over conventional methods. MATLAB simulation has been carried out to validate the results.

In this paper, a hybrid fault-tolerant control method with off-line design and online scheduling is proposed for NCS with actuator faults, random delay, and external finite energy disturbance. The problem of less conservatism of robust generalized H2/H∞ hybrid fault-tolerant control is studied. Firstly, a closed-loop fault model of the system with random delay parameters was established according to the Bernoulli 0-1 distribution; all possible prior faults are divided into a few intervals according to certain rules, and then an interval fault-tolerant controller is designed off-line according to the prior faults of each interval. Secondly, when the fault is estimated online, the corresponding interval fault-tolerant controller is called through the scheduling mechanism to achieve rapid fault tolerance of prior faults within the interval and mitigate the impact of other faults within the interval, which provides a guarantee for subsequent safe reconstruction control. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by Matlab simulation.

The communication system of a microgrid can transfer the information of electricity price, power consumption and so on between users and the control centre. This capability is of great significance to improve the efficiency and sustainability of power facilities. In this paper, a bidirectional DC–AC converter topology is proposed to achieve the composite transmission of power and signals in microgrids. Since the transmitted signals are modulated by power switches of converters and integrated into the currents, the cost of signal couplers can be saved and the circuit structure can be simplified. In order to verify the feasibility of the proposed method, a simulation model of the proposed converter is implemented in MATLAB/Simulink. With the power supply frequency of 50 Hz, when the converter operates in the inverter mode and rectifier mode, the data transmission rate can reach 120 bit/s and 48 bit/s, respectively.

This paper presents a novel approach for automatic power quality (PQ) event detection and classification based on Stockwell transform (S-transform) and wild goat optimization (WGO)-tuned extreme learning machine (ELM). The distinctive features associated with PQ event signals have been extracted by S-transform to obtain the feature vectors characterizing the signal nature. Considering these feature vectors as input, a classifier based on ELM optimally tuned with modified WGO technique is proposed. The WGO technique originated from the social hierarchy and strategic planning to reach at peak by the wild goats in nature is adapted to formulate an effective ELM model by parameter tuning for better classification. To justify the enhanced performance of the proposed approach, it is tested on a wide range of extracted synthetic PQ event data by MATLAB simulation. To ensure the real-time implementation, the PQ event data with the addition of 20, 30, and 50 dB to the synthetic signals are considered. The analysis of results presented reveals a very high performance for both PQ event recognition and classification, ensuring the efficiency of the proposed approach.

To overcome the staircase effects and simultaneously avoid edge blurring, here the authors proposed a novel algorithm of adaptive fourth-order partial differential equation (PDE) for image smoothing. The proposed method is based on You and Kaveh (YK) model that first performs a pre-processing using coherence-enhancing diffusion filter before the smoothing. Then, the authors select an adaptive edge-stopping function founded on the Tansig function to effectively remove the noise and insignificant details without destruction of important edges and textures in the image. MATLAB simulation results validate the efficiency of the proposed model quantitatively and visually, when compared with other state-of-the-art methods.

In this we generate excess amount of electricity and send to the utility grid. Here we used MPPT technique which is implemented in DC DC step up converter to permit P V module to give power at maximum power point. This study aims to: (1) to find out the results of the products developed and (2) to find out the perceptions of students regarding the Sound Wave module in Solid, Liquid and Gas Substances developed. This research is research and development (R & D) which refers to the model proposed by Thiagarajan. The feasibility of the media is validated by material experts and media experts. Subjects The trial of this study was 25 students of the University of Jambi Physics Education in 2016. The research data is in the form of module validation values by material and media experts, as well as the results of student perceptions of the module. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the assessment of wave solving and problem-solving optics modules was declared feasible with very good categories, namely with the results of material expert validation of 92%, the value of media expert validation was 86.5%. The results of the analysis of student perception data show that the print module seen from the aspect of the module cover design obtained an average percentage of 83%, from the design aspects in the module obtained an average percentage of 82%, from the presentation aspects of the module material obtained an average percentage amounting to 84.5%, from the aspect of Probem Solving obtained a percentage of 81%, and from the language aspect in the module obtained an average percentage of 84.25%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the Problem Solving-based print module on Sound Wave material in Solid, Liquid, and Gas Waves and Optics courses developed is suitable to be used as one of the learning media that can be used in the implementation of Wave and Optical subject learning. Subjek Uji coba penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Jambi angkatan 2016 sebanyak 25 orang. Data hasil penelitian berupa nilai validasi modul oleh ahli materi dan media, serta hasil persepsi mahasiswa mengenai modul. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa Penilaian modul Gelombang dan Optik berbasis problem solving dinyatakan layak dengan kategori sangat baik yaitu dengan nilai hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 92%, nilai hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 86,5%. Hasil analisis terhadap data persepsi mahasiswa ini menunjukkan bahwa modul cetak dilihat dari aspek desain cover modul diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 83%, dari aspek desain dalam modul diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 82%, dari aspek penyajian materi modul diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 84,5%, dari aspek Probem Solving diperoleh persentase sebesar 81%, dan dari aspek kebahasaan dalam modul diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 84,25%. Roadway excavation is the leading project in coal mining, and the cantilever roadheader is the main equipment in roadway excavation. Autonomous cutting by cantilever roadheaders is the key to realize safe, efficient and intelligent tunneling for underground roadways. In this paper, the working device of a cantilever roadheader was simplified into a series of translation or rotation joints, and the spatial pose model and spatial pose coordinate system of the roadheader were established. Using the homogeneous transformation matrix and the robot-related theory, the space pose transformation matrix of the roadheader and the space pose equation of the cutting head of the roadheader were derived. The forward kinematics and inverse kinematics of the cutting head were solved by using the D-H parameter method and an inverse transformation method. The location coordinates of the inflection point of the cutting process path for a rectangular roadway were determined, and cutting path planning and control were carried out based on the inflection point coordinates. Finally, MATLAB software was used to simulate the limit cutting area of the cutting head and the cutting process path. The simulation results showed that the limit cutting section had a bulging waist shape, the boundary around the roadway was flat, and the roadway cutting error was controlled within 1mm, which verified the reliability and effectiveness of the autonomous cutting theory of the roadheader. It lays a mathematical model and theoretical foundation for the realization of “autonomous operation of unmanned tunneling equipment”.

Strategic emerging industry is the leading industry of national economy, so it is of great significance to study its dynamic evolution law to promote the healthy development of strategic emerging industry. From the perspective of industry university research innovation of strategic emerging industries, this paper constructs an improved local world model for the evolution of strategic emerging industries by adding attraction and exit mechanism on the basis of local world network, and reveals the influence of various parameters on the innovation network of strategic emerging industries and its evolution law through MATLAB simulation. The results show that: the industry university research innovation network of strategic emerging industries is scale-free, the node degree obeys the power-law distribution, has larger average aggregation coefficient and smaller average path length, and the improved local world model can better describe the topological structure and evolution characteristics of strategic emerging industry innovation network.

The scaling of the water injection pipeline seriously affects the water injection efficiency. Current research is generally limited to the selection of suitable cleaning technology, and there are too few studies on the cleaning effect. In this paper, after analyzing the scaling mechanism and scaling evaluation model of the water injection pipeline, a simulation system is designed based on the GUI interface of the MATLAB platform to simulate the cleaning effect. The original data of the oilfield water injection pipeline can be imported into the simulation system, the cleaning technology can be selected and its cleaning effect can be simulated, and the evaluation method of the cleaning effect is given in the paper. The cleaning result can be obtained by comparing the data before and after cleaning. Based on the original data of an oil field, this paper carried out a simulation of the cleaning effect of chemical cleaning, and reached a conclusion that the cleaning effect was obvious. Application examples show that the water injection trunk lines that need to be cleaned in the two water injection stations have been obviously improved after cleaning, but the cleaning effect of different water injection stations is different, so the cleaning technology can be adjusted in time according to the simulation, which is more conducive to the choice of pipeline cleaning technology, thereby improving water injection efficiency.

Using numerical analysis method, we establish an improved model and to examine the optimal decisions of the supply chain finance with buyback risks. Our results show that buyback risks do not influence the profit of the budget constrained retailer and the whole profit of supply chain finance, but exert an impact on the profit distribution between the commercial bank and the manufacturer. Furthermore, we provide numerical results to shed light on managerial insights as well. At last, we show the effectiveness of the model through Matlab simulation.

Automated train braking system must be proficient and quickly responding. In Semi-Automated system where the train system controller is in human hand, there are chances of some errors in applying proper amount of braking power. In order to confront this concern, a fuzzy logic based automated braking system is designed to halt the train aligned. Regarding this paper work, a Fuzzy Logic based Metro Train Braking System is tried to be implemented. The Mamdani (Min- Max) type Fuzzy Logic based Controller is established using MATLAB Simulation in Fuzzy Logic toolbox. The possible inputs for the system are speed of train, distance between two stations, slope of the rails etc. but here, the selected inputs are the speed at which train is moving and the distance within two stations. The output braking power depends upon these two factors. Sixteen rules have been identified. The model is simulated fuzzy logic toolbox in MATLAB.

Quadrotors have seen a surge in popularity in many applications such as medical deliveries, surveying tasks, mapping tasks and much more. Urban operations, such as deliveries of parcels, require the quadrotor, referred to as the ownship in this paper, to be capable of autonomous navigation and collision avoidance, relying only on its onboard sensors. The focus of this paper is on the maneuvering of the ownship to avoid a potential collision with another neutral vehicle pursuing its own mission. We present a geometrical collision avoidance scheme based on the original 3DVO algorithm. The novelty of the improved 3DVO (I-3DVO) lies in its abilities to select an optimal collision avoidance plane and to vary the speed of the ownship to achieve collision avoidance under the short sensing distance conditions. The capacity of wireless communication system plays an important role in performance, and frequency reuse can improve the system capacity to a certain extent. In order to solve the problem that there are not enough frequency channels for too many users. This work starts with the frequency reuse. An integer frequency reuse (IFR) in 19-cell system network and a fractional frequency reuse (FFR) in 19-cell system network and variation of other factors are analyzed to illustrate the different effects of different frequency reuses on network capacity. Through MATLAB simulation network, the system capacity is calculated, different methods are designed, and the influence of different parameters on system performance is verified, such as cell radius and signal-to-noise ratio. Different methods are selected according to the model to increase the system capacity and optimize the system. After that Simultaneous water-filling (SWF) is also introduced for subsequent optimization, so that network capacity gets a better result.

Two wheeled self-balancing robot finds several applications in real life as well as for testing the effectiveness of various control algorithms. This paper concentrates on the modelling of a two-wheel dynamic robot and control design. In addition, a controller known as the Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) is utilized for simulating the system’s stabilization. The controller is robust enough to refuse system disturbances and noises. Through the Lagrange equation of the robot’s broad co-ordinates, the mathematical model is established, which is then changed as a state spatial system. To determine system performance, Matlab simulation is used. The results of the simulation show that the method proposed stabilizes the system at the position and angle. Different graphs have been shown in the paper to illustrate how the simulation operates.

In the process of robot spraying, the uniformity of product surface coating is very important for product quality. Based on the mathematical model of robot spray gun spraying, the cumulative distribution of coating at any point in the spraying area on the plane during the movement of the spray gun is analyzed, and then the distribution curve of coating thickness in one direction is obtained. The optimal spraying spacing is obtained by simulation with the coating uniformity as the goal. When the width of the spraying working surface is not an integral multiple of the optimal spraying spacing, the last spraying spacing is less than the optimal spraying spacing. Therefore, an improved method is proposed to take the last twice average spraying spacing and increase the distance between the spray gun and the spraying surface. Through MATLAB simulation, the results show that the coating thickness obtained by this method is basically consistent with the coating thickness with the optimal spraying spacing.

In the process of robot spraying operation, the outer surface of horizontal rectangular steel pipe in steel structure frame needs to be sprayed with fire retardant coating. Because the outer surface is in different planes, when spraying the upper and lower surfaces or side surfaces, due to the existence of gravity or external environment, or when the distance from the spray gun to the spraying operation surface changes, the coating efficiency will change. Therefore, the thickness of the coating on the outer surface of the workpiece is inconsistent, which affects the quality of the coating and leads to the decline of the fireproof performance. Aiming at the above problems, this paper finds out the proportional relationship between spraying speed and coating efficiency, and solves the problem of coating thickness uniformity caused by the change of coating efficiency by increasing or decreasing the moving speed of spray gun. Through MATLAB simulation, this method can improve the uniformity of coating thickness.

In this paper a complete load analysis of a residential hall of CUET in Bangladesh is performed, and a roof top solar PV System is designed. At first the load of this building is estimated, and a complete daily load profile is developed. Using the estimated load profile, the size of solar array and other components are estimated. After that, a complete system is designed connecting the components of estimated rating and size. Additionally, an optimization of system is performed using HOMER. Furthermore, the dynamic response of the proposed system is analyzed using Simulink, MATLAB and based on this response essential control and protection schemes are incorporated with the system. The effectiveness of these schemes is also verified by MATLAB simulation.

Based on the analysis of the nonlinear characteristics of various factors affecting the coal mine gas concentration, this paper uses BP algorithm to build the prediction model of coal mine gas concentration, and realizes the nonlinear mapping of various factors, so as to achieve the purpose of predicting the gas concentration of coal mine heading face. Matlab simulation results show that the model has the advantages of high prediction accuracy, fast prediction speed and good prediction effect.

In order to ensure the safety of train operation, it is necessary to strengthen the real-time monitoring of train operation environment. This paper use improved Hough transform to detect the rail track edge. First, detect the edge of the image use Canny operator. Second, find the lines among the edge image. Third, find longest lines as the outlines. Matlab simulation is used to detect the collected image. Experimental results show that this detection method can get a good result.

“Motor and Drive” is a professional basic course with strong theory and wide application in practical engineering. Its theory is abstract and formula is complex, which is considered by teachers and automation students as one of the professional courses difficult to teach and learn. In order to better teaching and learning, teaching reform is provided. The teaching content is optimized, the teaching methods, experimental methods and assessment methods are reformed based on matlab simulation. It is helpful to improve the teaching quality, stimulate students' learning enthusiasm and solve practical problems. The teaching reform foundation of “motor and drive” is provided in this paper.

The algorithm of modulation recognition using a single higher-order cumulant as the characteristic parameter is usually limited, and the recognition performance needs to be improved, for this reason, a recognition method is proposed, which uses the combination of multiple higher-order cumulants to construct the characteristic parameters, so that it contains more signal characteristics, and realizes the recognition of multiple signals of MASK, MPSK, and MFSK. The MATLAB simulation shows that it has a better recognition rate.

This paper presents a delineation of passive islanding detection techniques. APV-connected microgrid system is studied and simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and a trip signal is generated in case of detection of islanding. Broadly classified, the two methods of islanding detection are remote and local methods. Passive methods being one of local methods that utilize local parameters are used for the analysis. Local parameters at PCC are taken into account and compared with threshold to generate trip signal for breaker so as to disconnect the DG after islanding. Passive islanding detection technique being of the most sophisticated technique in implementation has a great disadvantage of non-detectable zone, still can be used in small system where remote technique becomes cumbersome in implementation.
