Organic–inorganic layered perovskites are currently some of the most promising 2D van der Waals materials. Low crystal quality usually broadens the exciton line width, obscuring the fine structure of the exciton in conventional photoluminescence experiments. Here, we propose a mechanical approach to reducing the effect of spectral diffusion by means of hBN capping on layered perovskites, revealing the exciton fine structure. We used a stochastic model to link the reduction of the spectral line width with the population of charge fluctuation centers present in the organic spacer. van der Waals forces between both lattices cause the partial clamping of the perovskite organic spacer molecules, and hence the amplitude of the overall spectral diffusion effect is reduced. Our work provides a low-cost solution to the problem of accessing important fine-structure excitonic state information, along with an explanation of the important carrier dynamics present in the organic spacer that affect the quality of the optical emission.

Resumen La artroplastia total de rodilla es una de las cirugias realizadas con mas frecuencia en ortopedia. No obstante, hasta un 20% de los pacientes mostraran persistencia del dolor despues del procedimiento. El dolor posquirurgico persistente puede ser una continuacion del dolor agudo tras la cirugia o aparecer despues de un periodo asintomatico durante mas de 3 meses. En la actualidad, se han caracterizado los factores de riesgo que se asocian a dolor posquirurgico persistente tras la artroplastia total de rodilla. Forman parte del contexto perioperatorio del paciente (preoperatorio, intraoperatorio y postoperatorio) y se pueden agrupar en diferentes dimensiones: geneticas, demograficas, clinicas, quirurgicas, analgesicas, inflamatorias y psicologicas. Su identificacion y prevencion, mediante un abordaje multimodal y biopsicosocial, es esencial en el contexto de la medicina perioperatoria y ha demostrado que puede prevenir o mejorar el dolor tras la cirugia.

Ergosterol is a specific sterol component of yeast and fungal membranes. Its biosynthesis is one of the most effective targets for antifungal treatments. However, the emergent resistance to multiple sterol-based antifungal drugs emphasizes the need for new therapeutic approaches. The allylamine terbinafine, which selectively inhibits squalene epoxidase Erg1 within the ergosterol biosynthetic pathway, is mainly used to treat dermatomycoses, whereas its effectiveness in other fungal infections is limited. Given that ergosterol biosynthesis depends on iron as an essential cofactor, in this report, we used the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae to investigate how iron bioavailability influences Erg1 expression and terbinafine susceptibility. We observed that both chemical and genetic depletion of iron decrease ERG1 expression, leading to an increase in terbinafine susceptibility. Deletion of either ROX1 transcriptional repressor or CTH1 and CTH2 post-transcriptional repressors of ERG1 expression led to an increase in Erg1 protein levels and terbinafine resistance. On the contrary, overexpression of CTH2 led to the opposite effect, lowering Erg1 levels and increasing terbinafine susceptibility. Although strain-specific particularities exist, opportunistic pathogenic strains of S. cerevisiae displayed a response similar to the laboratory strain. This paper analyzes the data collected about 5,388 videos from the 15 leading channels from Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States focusing on toys and in which the protagonists are children under 14 years of age (2011–2019). It aims to determine whether there are common patterns of use, production, and activity in videos by kid YouTubers. Specific software was developed to enable information to be gathered from the YouTube platform through the YouTube Data API by analyzing the date on which the video was published, length, number of visits, likes, dislikes, and visits/vote (visits/[likes+dislikes]). The main conclusions drawn are that a channel’s success is not dependent on a pattern or specific characteristics, although an impulse pattern has been detected; participation by children who consume content in the United States differs significantly from participation by those in Europe; and certain similarities based on video length and production frequency can be observed between channels.

The effect of time inside the animal’s cloaca on sperm quality after hormone-induced spermiation is unknown. However, this knowledge is critical for the development of assisted reproductive biotechnologies in amphibians. Out-of-season spermatozoa were collected from Epidalea calamita for 4 h after injection of 10 IU g−1 human chorionic gonadotrophin either hourly (Group I (n = 10); four samples per male) or every 2 h (Group II (n = 9); two samples per male). Sperm samples were assessed for motility and DNA integrity using the sperm chromatin dispersion (SCD) test and the sperm chromatin structure assay (SCSA). The collection strategy affected total motility (mean (±s.e.m.) 84.4 ± 9.9% vs 73.6 ± 16.7% in Group I and II respectively; P = 0.014) and the sperm motility index (67.6 ± 17.7% vs 57.6 ± 16.3% in Group I and II respectively; P = 0.034). There was a significant effect of the male in Group II, but not in Group I. In Group I, the quality of the first samples collected was lower than that of samples collected thereafter (P ≤ 0.032). No significant correlations were found between the results of the SCD test and SCSA, showing that these techniques provide different information in this species. In conclusion, collecting spermatozoa every hour resulted in better sperm quality and may be more efficient. However, the between-male differences were considerable and collection of spermatozoa at just 1 h after hormone treatment produced lower-quality spermatozoa.

Iron is an essential trace element that serves as a cofactor for enzymes involved in multiple metabolic pathways, including ribosome biogenesis, protein translation, DNA synthesis and repair, lipid metabolism, and mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. In eukaryotes, iron deficiency leads to coordinated changes in gene expression and protein translation that activate iron uptake and allow metabolic adaptations of iron-dependent processes. While transcriptional responses to iron deprivation have been extensively characterized, little is known about the role of iron in regulating protein synthesis. In this study, we performed a genome-wide analysis of protein translation in yeast to identify transcripts translationally regulated under iron deficiency. We show that, upon iron depletion, a large set of genes necessary for mitochondrial protein synthesis is specifically down-regulated at the translational level. We demonstrate that this regulation is mediated through the activity of Cth1 and Cth2 mRNA-binding proteins. In addition, we uncover that Fe deficiency affects protein translation by limiting the activity of the conserved ribosome recycling factor Rli1. Together, these studies identified genes and pathways that are translationally regulated in response to iron deficiency and revealed a role of iron in translational control.

All living cells require a minimal iron threshold to sustain anabolic metabolism. However, the mechanisms by which cells sense iron to regulate anabolic processes are unclear. Here, we report a universal eukaryotic pathway for iron sensing in which molecular iron is required to sustain active histone demethylation and maintain the expression of critical components of the pro-anabolic mTORC1 pathway. Specifically, we identify the iron-binding histone-demethylase KDM3B as an intrinsic iron sensor that regulates mTORC1 activity by demethylating H3K9me2 at enhancers of genes encoding high-affinity leucine transporters and RAPTOR. By directly suppressing leucine availability and RAPTOR levels, iron deficiency (ID) supersedes other nutrient inputs into mTORC1. This process occurs in vivo, and is not an indirect effect by canonical iron-utilizing pathways. Elevated expression of KDM3B targets is associated with reduced survival in a subset of human cancers and ID represses mTORC1 in patient-derived tumor cells and sensitizes cancer cells to chemotherapy. These data demonstrate a novel mechanism of eukaryotic iron sensing through dynamic chromatin remodeling and repression of mTORC1 mediated anabolism. Due to ancestral eukaryotes sharing homologues of KDMs and mTORC1 core components, this pathway likely predated the emergence of the other kingdom-specific nutrient sensors for mTORC1.

CsPbI

Prosthetic joint infection (PJI) is one of the most devastating complications in orthopedic surgery. It represents 1-2% of all joint replacements. Diagnosis of this condition has been largely studied in the last decade. However, these studies are centered on chronic PJI. Acute postoperative PJI do not have clear synovial diagnostic cut-offs values and its diagnosis relies on clinical suspicion. Therefore this SR wants to determine the best leucocyte amb neutrophil cut-off values in synovial fluid for the diagnosis of acute postoperative PJI.

Robotic surgery is a surgical technique that is on the rise. The goal of robotic-assisted total knee arthroplasty (RA-TKA) is to provide the surgeon with a tool to accurately execute bone cuts according to previous surgical planning to restore knee kinematics and balance of soft tissue, being able to precisely apply the type of alignment that we choose. In addition, RA-TKA is a very useful tool for training. Within the limitations, there is the learning curve, the need for specific equipment, the high cost of the devices, the increase in radiation in some systems and that each robot is linked to a specific type of implant. Current studies show, with RA-TKA, variations in the alignment of the mechanical axis are reduced, postoperative pain is improved and earlier discharge is facilitated. On the other hand, there are no differences in terms of range of motion, alignment, gap balance, complications, surgical time or functional results.

Semen cryobanks are critical for preserving autochthonous and rare breeds. Since sperm cryopreservation has been optimized for commercial breeds, non-commercial ones (often endangered) must be characterized to ensure the germplasm’s viability. This study reports an investigation of the “Asturiana de la Montaña” breed (AM), a valuable Spanish autochthonous cattle breed adapted to the mountainous Atlantic environment. The survey included cryopreserved semen doses from 40 bulls stored at the Principado de Asturias Germplasm Bank. Data were obtained from the routine fresh semen analysis, CASA (motility), and flow cytometry analyses of fresh and post-thawing semen, and the 56-day non-return-rate (NRR) in heifers and cows (all results as 1st and 3rd quartiles). Fresh samples (artificial vagina) were within the normal range for cattle (4–6 mL, 5–10 × 109/mL; mass motility 5). Post-thawing results showed motility below typical for commercial breeds (total motility 26–43%, progressive 14–28%), with higher values for viability (47–62%). Insemination results showed a good performance for this breed (NRR: 47–56%; higher for heifers). Sperm volume increased with age, with little or no effects on sperm quality. Few associations were found between post-thawing quality or freezability and NRR, LIN being the variable more strongly associated (positively). The AM semen bank shows a good prospect for preserving and disseminating the genetics of this breed. This survey indicates that dedicated research is needed to adapt freezing protocols to this breed, optimizing post-thawing results.

This paper analyses the audio-visual content of the channels of Spanish child YouTubers in which the children interact with toys within a certain narrative to promote them and raise brand awareness without their audience identifying that content as advertising. The paper compares the data on the videos analysed during and outside the Christmas period, focusing on channels with the highest numbers of followers. The Spanish case is significant as it involves top influencers in the world in the toy sector, surpassing even the pioneering channels such as EvanTubeHD (USA). The authors viewed 250 channels and 3,633 minutes of content produced by the YouTubers most followed in 2016, 2017 and 2018. The paper lists the names of presented brands, the type of products advertised and the advertising formats used, as well as the marketing resources and potential breaches of advertising legislation by the content (in 97 % of cases). The conclusion is that this communication practice requires an in-depth review and analysis by various stakeholders who participate in it, including regulatory and legislative bodies. Besides, the authors have identified a need for further research that would contribute to describing the structure of those practices in a manner similar to this research. In addition, they highlight the importance of considering and identifying this content from the perspective of its persuasive nature, as the majority of the content analysed offered no visible or audible signs identifying it as such, thus contributing to adults and children perceiving it as the content of an informational or entertaining nature, rather than advertising.

An outstanding potentiality of layered two-dimensional (2D) organic–inorganic hybrid perovskites (2DHPs) is in the development of solar cells, photodetectors, and light-emitting diodes. In 2DHPs, an exciton is localized in an atomically thin lead(II) halide inorganic layer of sub-nanometer thickness as in a quantum well sandwiched between organic layers as energetic and dielectric barriers. In previous years, versatile optical characterization of 2DHPs has been carried out mainly for thin flakes of single crystals and ultrathin (of the order of 20 nm) polycrystalline films, whereas there is a lack of optical characterization of thick (hundreds of nanometers) polycrystalline films, fundamentals for fabrication of devices. Here, with the use of photoluminescence (PL) and absorption spectroscopies, we studied the exciton behavior in ∼200 nm polycrystalline thin films of 2D perovskite (PEA)2PbI4, where PEA is phenethylammonium. Contrary to the case of ultrathin films, we have found that peak energies and line width of the excitonic bands in our films demonstrate unusual extremely weak sensitivity to temperature in 20–300 K diapason. The excitonic PL band is characterized by a significant (∼30 meV) Stokes shift with respect to the corresponding absorption band as well as by a full absence of the exciton fine structure at cryogenic temperatures. We suggest that the observed effects are due to the large inhomogeneous broadening of the excitonic PL and absorption bands resulting from the (PEA)2PbI4 band gap energy dependence on the number of lead(II) halide layers of individual crystallites. The characteristic time of the exciton energy funneling from higher- to lower-energy crystallites within (PEA)2PbI4 polycrystalline thin films is about 100 ps.

Semen cryopreservation is routine in cattle, but the results of artificial insemination need improvement. A strategy to these aims is the supplementation of the freezing extender with novel antioxidants. This study aimed at testing the natural antioxidants curcumin and crocin as supplements to the commercial extender BIOXcell for freezing semen from 8 Holstein bulls. We tested curcumin at 0.05 and 0.1 mM (CU0.05, CU0.1) and crocin at 0.5 and 1.5 mM (CR0.5, CR1.5), with 0.5 mM reduced glutathione (GSH0.5) as reference, and a control (CTL, without supplementation). The samples were evaluated post-thawing and after 5 h at 38 °C by CASA for motility and flow cytometry for viability, apoptotic, capacitation, acrosomal status, cytoplasmic and mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, and chromatin status (SCSA). Control and GSH0.5 showed similar results, possibly because of the good protection from BIOXcell. CU0.05 and CU0.1 showed little effects but increased cytoplasmic ROS production and motility ALH. CR0.5 and CR1.5 decreased viability and increased apoptotic features significantly post-thawing and after the incubation, resulting in lower motility (significant after the incubation) but decreasing SCSA %HDS (loose chromatin). Whereas crocin at these concentrations seems incompatible with BIOXcell, maybe because of a prooxidant activity, curcumin use merits further research, considering the elevation of ROS with no significant negative effects.

Antibiotics are added to semen extenders to control the growth of bacteria contaminating semen during collection but may contribute to the development of antibiotic resistance. An alternative would be physical separation of spermatozoa from bacteria. The objective of the present study was to evaluate two low densities of Porcicoll for removal of bacteria, and for their effect on sperm recovery and sperm quality. Semen was collected from boars at a commercial station. Aliquots of 8 extended ejaculates were subjected to colloid centrifugation through 20% Porcicoll (P20) and 30% Porcicoll (P30) in 500 mL tubes and then stored at 17 °C. Microbiological examination and sperm quality evaluation (computer assisted sperm analysis and flow cytometry) were carried out on controls and all colloid-selected samples immediately after preparation and again after storage for 3 and 7 days. The microorganisms found were mainly bacteria from the environment, gut or skin. There was a considerable reduction or complete removal of some bacteria by both colloids. Recovery rates were 86% for P20 and 81% for P30. Sperm quality was not adversely affected by colloid centrifugation on day 0, and thereafter showed a more gradual deterioration in colloid centrifuged samples than in controls, possibly due to lower bacterial contamination. There were no differences in sperm quality between the two colloid treatments. Thus, these results show that contaminating bacteria in semen can be controlled by centrifugation through low density colloids.

EuroScitizen COST Action is a research network which aims to identify targeted strategies that will raise levels of scientific literacy in Europe using evolution as a model. Euroscitizen Media Working Group (WG4) aims to describe good practices to better link scientific communities with journalists and the media, and consequently present powerful, stimulating and effective messages that can help strengthen the public understanding of scientific literacy and evolution in particular. In this poster, we present the aims and activities developed by WG4 as well as a description of its Action deliverables. Iron participates as an essential cofactor in the biosynthesis of critical cellular components, including DNA, proteins and lipids. The ergosterol biosynthetic pathway, which is an important target of antifungal treatments, depends on iron in four enzymatic steps. Our results in the model yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae show that the expression of ergosterol biosynthesis (ERG) genes is tightly modulated by iron availability probably through the iron-dependent variation of sterol and heme levels. Whereas the transcription factors Upc2 and Ecm22 are responsible for the activation of ERG genes upon iron deficiency, the heme-dependent factor Hap1 triggers their Tup1-mediated transcriptional repression. The combined regulation by both activating and repressing regulatory factors allows for the fine-tuning of ERG transcript levels along the progress of iron deficiency, avoiding the accumulation of toxic sterol intermediates and enabling efficient adaptation to rapidly changing conditions. The lack of these regulatory factors leads to changes in the yeast sterol profile upon iron-deficient conditions. Students' dietary habits are moving from Mediterranean diet guidelines towards unhealthy eating patterns. The aim of this study was to determine adherence to the Mediterranean diet in a sample of Spanish university students and its association with lifestyle factors.A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted with 685 university students who completed a self-report questionnaire. The data collected included demographic characteristics, dietary habits, smoking habits, alcohol consumption and physical activity. Mediterranean diet adherence was assessed by measuring the consumption of the foods that compose this type of diet through a score (range 0-10). Adherence to the Mediterranean diet was considered poor, average, or good.The mean adherence score for the Mediterranean diet was 4.9 (1.2) points out of 10. A higher degree of adherence to the Mediterranean diet was observed in physically active students (OR=2.31, 95% CI: 1.05-5.10; p=0.038). Students who performed ≥150min/week of physical activity (OR=0.45, 95% CI: 0.33-0.62; p0.001) and those over 25 years old (OR=0.44, 95% CI: 0.26-0.73; p=0.002) were less prone to low adherence to the Mediterranean diet than sedentary and younger students.The university students have poor adherence to the Mediterranean diet. The results of the current study indicate that age and physical activity are associated with Mediterranean diet adherence. It is urgent to raise awareness among university students and implement intervention programmes promoting a healthy lifestyle.

It remains unclear whether rheumatoid arthritis might be a cause of false positive of the histology for the diagnosis of prosthetic joint infection. Our aim was to evaluate the usefulness of the histology for the diagnosis of infection during hip and knee prosthesis revision in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. All patients with the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) undergoing hip or knee revision surgery (total or partial) were retrospectively reviewed. Positive histology was considered when ≥ 5 neutrophils per high-power field (400×) were found in at least five separate microscopic fields. Patients who presented ≥ 2 positive cultures for the same microorganism or the presence of fistula were considered as “true positives”. Thirty-two hip (n = 12) and knee (n = 20) revision procedures were performed. Sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive value of the histology were 50%, 78.6%, 25% and 91.7%, respectively. Six out of the eight patients presenting with positive histology had negative cultures (75.0% of false positives). Our results suggest that, in the context of RA, negative histological results have a very high negative predictive value. RA poses false positive histology results for the diagnosis of infection during hip and knee revision when conventional cultures are used for diagnosis of infection.

Resumen: Antecedentes y objetivo: El 40-50% de estas artritis sépticas se producen en la rodilla, y a pesar del rápido tratamiento médico-quirúrgico, del 24 al 50% van a acabar en un pobre resultado clínico. No está claro qué técnica de desbridamiento por artrotomía o por artroscopia es más eficaz para el control de la infección, ni si la artrosis previa empeora o no el resultado. El objetivo de este estudio en artritis séptica de rodilla artrósica es analizar qué técnica de desbridamiento quirúrgico, artroscopia o artrotomía, es más eficaz, cuál es la evolución clínica y radiográfica de los pacientes y cuántos van a necesitar la implantación de una PTR tras la curación de la infección. Material y método: Se realizó un estudio retrospectivo en 27 pacientes con artritis séptica nativa de rodilla. Dieciocho eran hombres y la edad media fue de 64,8 años (30-89 años). Quince pacientes fueron desbridados por artrotomía y 12 por artroscopia. Se analizó la eficacia del desbridamiento para el control de la infección, la progresión radiográfica de la artrosis en la escala de Ahlbäch, la necesidad de protetización posterior y el dolor y el estado funcional mediante la escala EVA y WOMAC a los 52,8 ± 11,2 meses de evolución. Resultados: El 93 y el 92% de los pacientes controlaron la infección, el 13 y el 42% requirieron dos o más cirugías para el control de la infección, y el 18 y el 44,4% mostraron progresión de la artrosis en el grupo artrotomía y artroscopia, respectivamente. Un paciente de cada grupo requirió que se le implantara una prótesis de rodilla. La escala EVA fue superior en el grupo artrotomía y no hubo diferencias en la escala de WOMAC. Conclusión: El desbridamiento por artrotomía en el área de urgencias por cirujanos no subespecializados en rodilla es más eficaz que el artroscópico para controlar la artritis séptica de rodilla. El desbridamiento quirúrgico de las artritis sépticas en rodillas con artrosis previa permite controlar la infección con ausencia de dolor a pesar de la progresión de la artrosis. Abstract: Background and objective: 40%-50% of this septic arthritis occurs in the knee, despite rapid medical surgical treatment, 24%-50% will have a poor clinical outcome. It is not clear which debridement technique, by arthrotomy or arthroscopy, is more effective in controlling infection, or whether or not previous osteoarthritis worsens the outcome. The objective of this study on septic arthritis of the osteoarthritic knee was to analyse which surgical debridement technique, arthroscopy or arthrotomy, is more effective, the clinical and radiographic outcomes of the patients, and how many go on to require a TKR after the infection has healed. Material and methods: A retrospective study was performed in 27 patients with native septic arthritis of the knee. Eighteen were men and the mean age was 64.8 years (30-89 years). Fifteen patients were debrided by arthrotomy and 12 by arthroscopy. The effectiveness of debridement in controlling infection, the radiographic progression of the osteoarthritis on the Ahlbäch scale, the need for subsequent replacement, and pain and functional status were analysed using the VAS and WOMAC scales at 52.8 ± 11.2-month follow-up. Results: The infection was controlled in 93% and 92% of the patients, 13% and 42% required 2 or more surgeries for infection control, 18% and 44.4% showed progression of arthritis in the arthrotomy and arthroscopy groups, respectively. One patient in each group required a knee replacement. The VAS score was superior in the arthrotomy group and there were no differences in WOMAC score. Conclusion: Debridement by arthrotomy in the emergency department by non-sub-specialist knee surgeons is more effective than arthroscopic debridement in controlling septic arthritis of the knee. Surgical debridement of septic arthritis in knees with previous osteoarthritis enabled control of the infection with no pain despite the progression of the osteoarthritis.

Background and objective 40%–50% of this septic arthritis occurs in the knee, despite rapid medical surgical treatment, 24%–50% will have a poor clinical outcome. It is not clear which debridement technique, by arthrotomy or arthroscopy, is more effective in controlling infection, or whether or not previous osteoarthritis worsens the outcome. The objective of this study on septic arthritis of the osteoarthritic knee was to analyse which surgical debridement technique, arthroscopy or arthrotomy, is more effective, the clinical and radiographic outcomes of the patients, and how many go on to require a TKR after the infection has healed. Methods A retrospective study was performed in 27 patients with native septic arthritis of the knee. Eighteen were men and the mean age was 64.8 years (30–89 years). Fifteen patients were debrided by arthrotomy and 12 by arthroscopy. [EN] Semen cryopreservation in bovine livestock is well established, but logistics often require deviations from standard protocols. Extending the equilibration time to the following day is convenient in many situations. To improve our knowledge of the effects of this modification, we studied the post-thawing and post-incubation (4 h, 38 °C) sperm quality after freezing with 4 or 24-h extension in the OPTIXcell extender by using an ample panel of analyses: CASA for motility; flow cytometry for viability, physiology, oxidative stress, and chromatin parameters (DNA fragmentation, chromatin compaction, and thiol groups status); and spectrometry for malondialdehyde production. Semen was obtained from 12 Holstein bulls. The 24-h equilibration time showed few significant effects, with only a tiny decrease in progressive motility and a positive impact on chromatin structure. The incubation removed some of these effects, with the pattern for chromatin compaction remaining the same. No detrimental oxidative stress or increase in apoptotic or capacitation markers was detected. Additionally, the individual bull interacted with the effects of the incubation and the equilibration, especially regarding the chromatin status. Whereas this interaction did not critically affect sperm quality, it could be relevant in practice. Bull fertility as non-return rates (NRR56) was associated with some sperm parameters (especially with an improved chromatin structure) but not in the 4-h post-thawing analysis. Our study supports that extending the equilibration time by at least 24-h is feasible for bull semen freezing with the OPTIXcell extender. SI

La actitud de los docentes frente a la inclusión es un factor clave si queremos avanzar hacia el desafí­o de contar con comunidades educativas cada vez más inclusivas. El objetivo de este estudio busca validar un cuestionario sobre la actitud docente frente a la inclusión educativa en Chile. Se efectúa un estudio descriptivo –survey, de corte transversal–transeccional, no experimental, con una muestra no probabilí­stica (accidental). Para ello se encuesta a 497 docentes que se desempeñan en escuelas municipales de Chile. Se utiliza un cuestionario con escala Lickert con 19 preguntas, para determinar la actitud frente a la inclusión. La medida de Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin KMO fue 0.893 y la prueba de esfericidad de Bartlet fue altamente significativa (X2= 4196.261, gl = 171, sig 0,000). Por otro lado, las cargas factoriales en las 19 preguntas oscilaron entre < 0.500 a 0.899 y la fiabilidad en general evidenció un Alpha de Cronbach (r=0.85). Se verifica, por tanto, que el cuestionario es válido y confiable en Chile para determinar la actitud docente frente a la inclusión educativa.
