The present study investigated whether students’ motivational beliefs act as a mediator in the association between teacher-student relationships (TSRs) and foreign language performance with a multiple mediation model. Furthermore, this research examined whether mediating roles of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation differ. A total of 1171 eighth graders (583 male, 588 female) were chosen with purposive sampling in China. Studentreported measures of TSRs, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) test based on national curriculum were administrated in October 2017. Results showed that the positive link between TSRs and foreign language performance is partially mediated by intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and the mediation effect of intrinsic motivation is significantly greater than that of extrinsic motivation, controlling for gender and socio-economic status. The results indicated that supportive TSRs can help learners to improve their foreign language proficiency by promoting their motivation, especially intrinsic motivation. The present results may have substantive theoretical and practical implications for teacher education and foreign language learning., El presente estudio investigó si las creencias motivacionales de los estudiantes actúan como mediadores en la asociación entre las relaciones profesor-alumno (TSR) y el rendimiento de un idioma extranjero con un modelo de mediación múltiple. Además, esta investigación examinó si los roles mediadores de la motivación intrínseca y extrínseca difieren. Se eligieron 1171 alumnos de octavo grado (583 hombres, 588 mujeres) con muestreo intencional en China. En octubre de 2017, se aplicaron a los estudiantes las pruebas de TSR, la motivación intrínseca y extrínseca y la prueba de inglés como idioma extranjero (EFL) basadas en el plan de estudios nacional. Los resultados mostraron que el vínculo positivo entre TSR y el desempeño de un idioma extranjero está parcialmente mediado por la motivación intrínseca y extrínseca, y el efecto de mediación de la motivación intrínseca es significativamente mayor que el de la motivación extrínseca, controlando el género y el estatus socioeco-nómico. Los resultados indicaron que los TSR de apoyo pueden ayudar a los alumnos a mejorar su dominio del idioma extranjero ya que promueven su motivación, especialmente la motivación intrínseca. Los resultados actuales pueden tener importantes implicaciones teóricas y prácticas para la formación del profesorado y el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras

ObjectiveTo examine the changes in AMH levels longitudinally over time and their relationship with both body composition, particularly abdominal adiposity, and milestones of pubertal development in female children.DesignSecondary analysis of a prospective, longitudinal study.SettingUniversity affiliated research center and laboratories.PatientsEighty-nine females were examined between 1990 and 2015 to study child growth and development.InterventionsDemographic, anthropometric, growth, and pubertal milestone data with serum samples stored and subsequently analyzed for AMH.Main outcome measuresLongitudinal change in AMH and predicted AMH levels based on body composition, age, and pubertal milestones including, pubarche, thelarche, and menarche.ResultsNatural log-transformed AMH (AMHlog) levels appeared to have a nonlinear relationship with age, decreasing between 10 and 14 years of age, increasing until 16 years. A mixed effect linear model demonstrated that increased abdominal adiposity (waist/height ratio, WHtR) was significantly associated with the predicted increased AMHlog levels (β=1.37). As females progressed through the Tanner stages, the model predicted decreasing AMHlog values when adjusting for age and WHtR.ConclusionsDeclining AMH levels during puberty may not be reflective of diminished ovarian reserve as observed in adults, but may suggest a permissive role of AMH in the activation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis.

The dynamic three-dimensional(3D) surface imaging technology based on fringe projection was summarized and the characteristics of typical strategies were analyzed. Firstly, the basic principle of the technique was introduced, including the basic structure of the system, the principle of 3D surface imaging, and the two typical phase extraction methods, phase shifting method and Fourier transform method. Secondly, the dynamic imaging scheme including high speed projection scheme and dynamic 3D surface imaging method using relatively low speed camera was introduced. Thirdly, the absolute phase acquisition methods in dynamic 3D image were introduced, mainly analog and digital coding and area statistical coding, were introduced. Finally, the methods of accurate dynamic phase measurement were introduced.

Network monitoring system is handled by the automatic collection of web content, sensitive word filtering, intelligent clustering classification, topic detection, thematic focus, statistical analysis, a number of links to realize the need of the supervision and management of network public opinion, and ultimately the formation of public opinion, special reports, analysis reports, statistical reports, decision-making and management have complete control of public opinion, the dynamic, to make the right to guide public opinion, provide an analytical basis. The current monitoring system has some drawbacks such as small monitoring scope and less real-time. Coal mine safety monitoring and early warning systems are designed based on wireless sensor network in this paper. This system realized channel access to S MAC protocol, and transmitted environment information collected such as CO, CH4, temperature, humidity and my roof pressure, etc. to the monitoring station and realized real-time monitoring of the mine working environment parameters. Modeling simulation is performed on the wireless network structure by applying OPNET software, and the results show that in the wireless transmission condition, 20 nodes sent 1000 data packets, more than fifty of which are received. Wireless transmission network performs well.

The effect of system parameters on the reconstructed image quality in in-line digital holographic microscopy was studied.Firstly the spatial frequency of object wave was computed.Under the assumption of perfect imaging,the spatial frequency of object wave in the image space was completely determined by the frequency of the surface structure of the measured specimen and the magnification of the imaging system.Then,a suitable magnification must be designed so that the spatial frequency of object wave in the image space could satisfy the sampling capacity,based on the analysis that all the spatial frequency components of object wave should arrive at the recording plane and be effectively recorded in order to acquire the reconstructed image with high quality.And the recording distance affects on the object size which can be effectively recorded.When the magnification was the same,the size became larger with the decrease of the recording distance.Both the simulation and optical experiments validate the correctness of the proposed analysis.

To generate digital holograms with a large viewing angle,a digital holographic technique based on filter imaging is proposed.Using the off-axis image plane holography,a low-pass filter is placed at the spatial frequency plane of the 4F coherent imaging system,in order to make the object wave(satisfied CCD resolution ratio) interfere with the reference wave,and the loss-pass filter and imaging areas are controlled to record the sub-holograms for different spectra in turn.In digital holographic reconstruction,all sub-holograms are carried on numerical Fourier transform,and the corresponding spectra are reconstructed which are also stitched to form a whole spectrum of object wave.Then,a large viewing angle reconstruction image can be obtained by digital holography.The proposed technique is applied to the three-dimensional profile measurement of a sewing needle,and the experimental results prove the accuracy of this technique.

In this letter a new skeletonization algorithm is proposed. It combines techniques of fast construction of Euclidean Distance Maps(EDMs), ridge extraction, Hit-or-Miss Transformation(HMT) of structuring elements and the set operators. It first produces the EDM image with no more than 4 passes through an image of any kinds, and then the ridge image is extracted by applying a turn-on scheme and performing a rain-fall elimination to accelerate the processing. The one-pixel wide skeleton is finally acquired by carrying out the HMTs of two structure elements and the SUBTRACT and OR operations. Experimental results obtained by practical applications are also presented.

In order to select the thermal power enterprisepsilas coal suppliers properly, certain attributes of the suppliers should be carefully analysis. Supplier selection is a multi criteria problem which multi attributions of the suppliers should be considered. We models supplier evaluation problem as an MCDM problem. The VIKOR method was developed for multi-criteria optimization of complex systems. So the improved VIKOR algorithm used to evaluate the thermal power enterprisepsilas coal supplier was proposed. The weight was used to estimate the effect of the evaluated index on the evaluated subject. In order to avoid objective influencing factors, the weight was determined by using Shannon Entropy combined Analytic Hierarchy Process. A study shows that the evaluation was more objective, scientific and rational.

According to the essential ideas behind the curvelet transform, we recognize that the noise averaging property of the projection-slice theorem plays an important role in curvelet denoising as well as ridgelet coefficients thresholding. Based on this idea, a simplified curvelet-like transform is presented in this paper. Instead of using the original block size 2/sup -j/2/ for subband [2/sup J/, 2/sup f+1/], it takes the full size of the image as the block side-length in every subband. Its denoising threshold for ridgelet coefficients of each subband is also adapted to the corresponding scale to avoid gray level increase and detail degradation. As a result, this modified implementation provides high speed processing. Furthermore, experiments with noisy images and poor quality X-ray pictures demonstrate that the suggested method works well when the noise deviation is estimated correctly.

This paper presents a new scheme for object detection in a complex background. Firstly a Difference Offset of Gaussian filter is introduced to calculate a feature inertia surface of an image, this feature inertia image preserves certain region ridges in an image, while reducing insignificant details. After skeletonization on the inertia surface, an improved marker extraction for watershed transform is carried out to detect objects, followed by a merging operation based on a criterion suggested according to the measurement of texture similarity. Each located area is finally verified by Nearest Neighboring classifiers trained for different kinds of objects. Detection experiments on face areas and character regions have shown its feasibility.

The authors propose a method using a new Extended Autocorrelation (EAC) technique to improve the traditional 2D AR-model algorithms. They use the EAC technique to achieve better parameter estimation that provides exact matching between the first P+1 autocorrelation coefficients of the 20 image signal and those of the 20 model while the high-order coefficients mismatch is minimized. >
