The article analyzes the legal problems existing in the regulation of relations that arose as a result of counteracting acts of international terrorism; the provisions of Russian legislation and legal act of some foreign states, as well as the principles and norms of international law in the field of combating terrorism are being examined; gaps and contradictions in legal regulation in the antiterrorist sphere are revealed, which require legislative consolidation and international legal regulation.

The prevalence of autoimmune diseases affect millions of patients worldwide and its incidence has increased over the years. Here we report on the use of a microfluidic device and homemade portable integrated real-time PCR (qPCR) device for the quantification of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) at the point-of-care (POC). Our device is a disposable cyclic polyolefin (COP)-based microfluidic chip, and the assay is a magnetic bead-based proximity ligation assay. The data presented herein show on-chip TNF-α quantification within the clinically relevant range of 5-100 pg/ml in both buffer and human plasma. Further development could lead to a potential method for monitoring anti-inflammatory therapy.

SUMMARY Electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements of soil and its fractions (humic acids, fulvic acids, post-extraction residues and bitumens) were performed and particular attention given to free radicals of organic origin. For such radicals in soil, two lines with g factors 2.004 and 2.002 were observed. For all four fractions one line was observed. To obtain more information on the radical structure, the samples were carbonized. This allowed the different chemical structures of each of the two organic radicals to be differentiated. However, it was not possible to ascribe any definite structure to these radicals. Heat-treatment measurements indicated that the humification process shows some similarity to the process of carbonization at low temperature.
