We performed theoretical investigation on mechanisms of LiD/LiH/LiT+H2O reactions with second order perturbation theory (MP2). Calculations of enthalpy change and reaction rate constant are in agreement with experimental data and other theoretical values. Results show that two reaction channels exist for LiD + H2O reaction, and channel 1 is the main reaction channel. Kinetic Isotope Effect (KIE) is not so large although fracture of isotope bond takes place in the reaction, which is noticeably different from theoretical maximums of primary isotope effect. Individual contributions of KIE effect are listed as follows ηvib > ηrot > ηtun > ηpot > ηtrans, indicating that main contribution of isotope effect results from vibration factor.

Basalt powder is a by-product of basalt stone crushing plant. It is a big problem to propose utilization of these by-products from the aspects of disposal, environmental pollution and health hazards. In this paper, basalt is attempted to manufacture concrete as a new mineral admixture. Firstly, the chemical compositions and the pozzolan activity of the basalt were measured. Secondly, the cementitious paste with basalt powder was prepared and the normal consistency, setting time and the compressive strength were tested. Finally, the isothermal calorimetric measurement, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) test were conducted to investigate the hydration process and microstructure formation of the basalt blended paste. The results show that the basalt has obvious potential pozzolan activities and can be used as a new mineral admixture. The basalt has retardation effect on the setting and hydration heat evolution process of cement. Besides, early age compressive strength development of the basalt blended paste was normally less than the pure cement paste, but the strength are close at later ages.

We report the effect of fluorine doping on the fabrication and superconductivity of the iron-based arsenic oxide SmO1-xFδFeAs (δ≥x) compound. The fluorine over-doping can greatly reduce the heat treatment temperature and the heat treatment time, meanwhile the superconductivity of the SmO1-xFδFeAs samples does not reduce. The critical transition temperature (Tc) is as high as 56.5 K for the SmO0.7F0.3FeAs sample prepared by the two-step solid state reaction method at 1120 °C for 40 h, the Jc of the sample is 2.4×105 A/cm2 (10 K, 0 T). Tc of the fluorine over-doped SmO0.7F0.35FeAs and SmO0.7F0.4FeAs samples prepared by the two-step solid state reaction method at 1100 °C for 20 h are 56 and 55 K, respectively. Jc of the both samples are 1.9×105 and 1.7×105 A/cm2 (10 K, 0 T), respectively.

A novel CVD method of preparing ultrafine rhenium powders was investigated in this paper. The Re2O7 gas obtained by decomposing NH4ReO7 was transported to the reduction chamber and then reduced by H2 to form rhenium powders. In order to evaluate the effects of sintering on properties of rhenium particles, such as crystal size, morphology, surface conditions and particle size, the samples of rhenium powders prepared at different reduction temperatures were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and laser particle size analyzer. The experimental results show that the sintering effect among particles is enhanced with increasing of reduction temperature, resulting in larger crystal size, smoother surface and larger average particle size of the rhenium powder.

We report the low-temperature specific heat of La2-xSrxCuO4 (x = 0.063) single crystals before and after annealing in the temperature region of 2-10 K and magnetic fields up to 12 T. The data confirm the rootH dependence of the linear term coefficient gamma predicted for d-wave paring in the Volovik theory at T = 0 K. However, the data do not satisfy the proposed Simon-Lee scaling law at finite temperatures, i.e. C-DOS/(T-2) = f (T/ rootH), where f is an unknown scaling function and C-DOS is the extra specific heat contributed by the nodal quasiparticles due to the Doppler effect. Possible reasons for this failure are presented.

The analytic function for the amplified spontaneous emission spectrum of InP/InGaAsP multi-quantum wells is studied by spectrum fitting. Three fitting functions, Lorentz, Gaussian and Sech line shape functions are chosen, and the analytical expressions for the above three functions are obtained with Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm, respectively. The center wavelength of Lorentz line shape function spectrum fitting is 1548.707 nm with 66.23 nm of full-width half maximum (FWHM), -0.00036484 mW power compensation, 0.98294 of R-square and 4.7674310-6 of residual sum of squares; the center wavelength of Gaussian line shape function spectrum fitting is 1548.651 nm with 61.42 nm of FWHM, 0.00212 mW power compensation, 0.99191 of R-square and 2.2650510-6 of residual sum of squares; the center wavelength of Sech line shape function spectrum fitting is 1548.787 nm with 36.99 nm of FWHM, 0.00222 mW power compensation, 0.98128 of R-square and 5.2433110-6 of residual sum of squares. It can be seen that Gaussian line shape function spectrum fitting has the highest R-square and smallest residual sum of squares, and the residual squares of data are symmetrically distributed among 0.0001. Gaussian line shape function spectrum fitting has higher fitting degree. It is demonstrated that InP/InGaAsP multi-quantum wells is a kind of active layer quantum well structure semiconductor material, whose amplified spontaneous emission spectrum line shape belongs to inhomogeneous broadening due to the effect of lattice defects, the corresponding line shape function is Gaussian line shape function, and the amplified spontaneous emission spectrum line shape function can be used for designing the optical passive devices.

We propose a weighted common subgraph (WCS) matching algorithm to find the most similar subgraphs in two labeled weighted graphs. WCS matching, as a natural generalization of the equal-sized graph matching or subgraph matching, finds wide applications in many computer vision and machine learning tasks. In this paper, the WCS matching is first formulated as a combinatorial optimization problem over the set of partial permutation matrices. Then it is approximately solved by a recently proposed combinatorial optimization framework - Graduated NonConvexity and Concavity Procedure (GNCCP). Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) plays pivotal roles in the progression of allergic airway inflammation. This study aims to determine whether the blockade of IL-1β can inhibit airway inflammation in guinea pigs with allergic asthma induced by the inhalation of aerosolized ovalbumin (OVA).Healthy guinea pigs treated with saline were used as normal controls (group C). The guinea pigs with allergic asthma induced by the inhalation of aerosolized OVA were randomly divided into three groups: (1) the M group containing negative control animals treated with saline; (2) the Z1 group containing animals treated by the inhalation of atomized 0.1% anti-IL-1β immunoglobulin yolk (IgY); and (3) the Z2 group containing positive control animals that were treated with budesonide. The inflammatory cells in the peripheral blood (PB) and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were evaluated using methylene blue and eosin staining. Cytokine concentrations were measured using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Pulmonary sections were examined using hematoxylin-eosin staining.Allergic inflammation and damage to the pulmonary tissues were decreased in the Z1 group compared to the M group. Eosinophils and neutrophils in the PB and BALF were significantly decreased in the Z1 group compared to the M group (P0.05). Treatment with anti-IL-1β IgY significantly reduced the levels of IL-1β, IL-4, IL-8, IL-13, TNF-α, TGF-β1 and IgE in the BALF (P0.05).The inhalation of aerosolized anti-IL-1β IgY inhibits pathological responses in the pulmonary tissues of guinea pigs with allergic asthma. The inhibitory activity may be due to the decrease in the numbers of eosinophils and neutrophils and the reduced levels of inflammatory cytokines and IgE in the PB and BALF.

The frame of risk management system was established and risk analysis was addressed. First, the inherent risk factors in the CBM project were identified based on work breakdown structure method of project management. Then, the technical risks in implementing the CBM project were assessed with the fuzzy synthetic evaluation method and the assessment results were discussed. Finally, risk response measures for risk response were suggested.

The classification principles of the complex equipment health condition were proposed. the basic thought of fuzzy C means clustering algorithm (FCM) was analyzed. Further more, the advantages and disadvantages of traditional FCM were discussed. Then, the improved FCM algorithms based on artificial bee colony algorithm was suggested. Finally, complex equipment health condition classification scheme based on gray scale health index was put forward.

As a strategy of maintenance, RBM (Risk Based Maintenance) are playing more and more important role in the maintenance of large equipment in corporations. After analyzing the meaning and characteristics of RBM, the authors despicted the maintenance decision flow base on RBM. The risk assessment model of weapon materiel was constructed and the index of the model was analyzed in detail. Finally, the authors made some useful suggestions on implementing maintenance decision mode based on RBM.

The acquisition scheme for the Sporadic Faint optical detection system is proposed based on analyzing the feature of target, double peak signal. The multi-frequency acquisition function is fulfilled by the core FPGA. The circuit design with AD679 and AD588 describes in the paper. The design’s performance is analyzed, and. The analysis of circuit module that is divided into dc and ac performance is presented. The analysis indicates that dc performance of the module is good that the demand can be achieved. This approach has been applied in some Sporadic Faint optical signal detection system successfully and should be served as the useful reference to the study of data acquisition technology in similar system.

Ray-tracing, can produce high-quality images, however, the use of ray-tracing has been limited due to its high demands on computational power and memory bandwidth, especially in the case of satellite imagery. In this paper, we propose a scalable parallel ray tracing algorithm of satellite imagery on a cluster of multi-core architecture. The algorithm combines demand-driven and data-driven models in order to reduce communication on the cost of maintaining redundant data. In order to make the most of computer's parallelism and increase computational efficiency, it combines two levels of parallelisms, the TLP parallelism brought by the many core architecture and the inter-node parallelism via MPI and OpenMP. Experiment results show that the algorithm is highly scalability.

Low-temperature specific heat of the monolayer high-Tc superconductor Bi_2Sr_{2-x}La_xCuO_{6+��} has been measured close to the optimal doping point (x ~ 0.4) in different magnetic fields. The identification of both a T^2 term in zero field and a \sqrt{H} dependence of the specific heat in fields is shown to follow the theoretical prediction for d-wave pairing, which enables us to extract the slope of the superconducting gap in the vicinity of the nodes (v_��, which is proportional to the superconducting gap ��_0 at the antinodes according to the standard d_{x^2-y^2} gap function). The v_�� or ��_0 (~ 12 meV) determined from this bulk measurement shows close agreement with that obtained from spectroscopy or tunneling measurements, which confirms the simple d-wave form of the superconducting gap., 5 pages, 4 figures, 1 table

Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) attracts more and more attention. The PHM behavior of equipment could be classified into two major parts: Automated part and Human-in-Loop part, the challenge is to construct the Multi-Agent model for the Automated part. Firstly, the critical activities of maintenance process are described with several self-governed agents. Then, the mechanism of communication and interaction among the multiple agents is discussed. Thirdly, the Multi-Agent model for equipment PHM system is put forward. Finally, the task of Mission Planned Agent, Maintenance Decision-making Agent, Resources Management Agent and Learning Agent are analyzed.

Maintenance decision-making technology adopted in PHM system greatly affects the effectiveness of the system. The authors began with describing the architecture for OSA-CBM. Then indicated that there were inherent limitations in model-based method and data-driven method adopted in maintenance decision-making and suggested the Multi-Agents method which is widely applied in many domains may be a proper choice. The components of Maintenance Decision-Making Agent (MDA) were presented in detail. On the analysis of Remaining Life Prediction Agent, Opportunistic Maintenance actions was proposed, which will help to turn the reactive maintenance philosophy to scheduled or preventive maintenance philosophy. It was proved that the capability of cooperation, interaction and parallel processing of autonomous agents had been greatly improved. The Multi-Agents model for maintenance decision-making was more effective in achieving the intelligence of the system.

The propagation of a laser pulse with a peak intensity 1019 W/cm2 through the preformed underdense plasma with the density 0.014nc are studied by using two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations. The longitudinal electron heating is identified and verified, and its major property agrees with the theoretical prediction. The electron distributions in phase space, patterns of the electric fields, profiles of the ion or electron density and other plasma nonlinear phenomena are presented and discussed.

Resistive transitions of the new superconductor MgB2 are carried out under magnetic fields from 0 to 8 T. It is found that the irreversibility field H-irr(T) and the upper critical field H-c2(T) obtained are very close to those determined in the magnetic measurements. By using the Arrhenius activation law p = p(0)exp(- U/k(B) T), the activation barrier U has been determined by the low dissipation part of R(T) curves. It is found that U much greater than k(B)T manifesting a very weak thermal activation and thermal fluctuation effect. This may further indicate that the flux dynamics near H-irr(T) is induced by strong quantum fluctuation and tunnelling of vortices.

The newly discovered superconductor MgB2 has a transition temperature Tc of about 40 K, which is touching the upper line of that predicted by the phonon-mediated Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) theory. It is interesting to investigate the flux creep in MgB2 and compare it with other superconductors. We have measured the magnetization relaxation of MgB2 sintered at high temperature and high pressure. It is found that the quantum tunnelling and the thermally activated flux creep are very weak, implying a strong pinning in this material.

It is one of the important means that can improve its quality and decrease its cost by improving the manufacturing technology for the bearings in the NC positioner. In this paper, the Signal-to-Noise of Taguchi Method was applied to analyze the technologic parameters of the nitridinged bearings surface. The technologic parameter of the key single factor is assured in nitridinging in order to find out the minimum amount of nitridinging deformation by analyzing the result of experiment and optimizing the technologic parameters. The amount of nitridinging deformation is controlled to the minimum. Before the nitridinging, the integrated error of the amount of deformation is computed to assure the cutting amount. The error can be compensated by means of manufacturing. So the bearing didn't need to be manufactured again. It is proved that this simple and stable method can improve efficiency and reduce the manufacturing cost.

Overloading is a violation, which is needed to monitor mainly. Monitoring vehicle information accurately and timely is a necessary information mean, which is used to ensure highway safety. Aiming at the actual demand, this paper proposes a hybrid communication technology scheme of vehicle overload monitoring system, which is based on the combination of power line carrier communication and Zigbee wireless communication. Design scheme of this system has some reference value for monitoring system communication research of similar domain.

Based on the properties of transient feeble optical signal, which is the wide dynamic range and the feeble lower limit signal, it is presented a novel detecting scheme compressing signal real-time in logarithmic domain in this paper. After the principle analysis of the scheme, it has been implemented to choose appreciate parts, design the circuitry and test. The results indicated that the approach can make transient optical signal ranged 120dB compress in the range of 0~5V. And together with the circuitry design simplified and the dissipation decreased, the troubles at the back data acquisition module can be lessened greatly. It may be a novel clue for research on the tech of detecting the transient light and provide certain reference values to similar system design.

It is quit difficult to archive perfect effects by applying the traditional modeling and control methods to the urban traffic signal control system because of non-linearity, fuzzyness, self-organization and uncertainty in the system. The artificial intelligence technologies may offer a new way to resolve this problem. In allusion to characteristics of the traffic signal control system, this paper proposes an on-line control algorithm based on Dyna-Q reinforcement learning, and utilizes the experiential knowledge gained by the traffic signal control agent in the trial-error process to estimate the model, and then plans the actions in the estimated model, accordingly it can accelerate the iterative process of the Q-learning. This paper adapts TSIS(a microscopic traffic analysis software) to implement the simulation on two traffic trunk roads which consist of 10 intersections. Comparing with fixed-time control, genetic algorithm and Q-learning control algorithm, simulation results indicate that Dyna-Q reinforcement learning algorithm has an obvious superiority.

This paper studies the influence of poly [2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1, 4-phenylenevinylene] (MEH-PPV) on solution-processable functionalized graphene oxide (SPFGO) composite film-based organic light emitting Diode (OLED) and organic photovoltaic (OPV) performance for different SPFGO concentrations. There is a strong quenching of photoluminescence when MEH-PPV is doped with SPFGO, which means there is a strong transfer of electron and energy between MEH-PPV and SPFGO. Doping SPFGO in MEH-PPV can improve the performance of OLED at low concentration, and the performance will be the best when the concentration of SPFGO is 0.2%; however, the performance of OPV remains unchanged. The performance of OPV could be improved by high doping concentration of SPFGO, the performance will be the best when the concentration of SPFGO reaches 15%, and there is a quenching in the electroluminescence (EL) of OLED. As shown in the statistics of the experiment, SPFGO can increase the injectivity of carriers, and when the SPFGO is of low concentration, it can increase the luminous intensity of OLED and reduce the threshold voltage. SPFGO can act as an electron acceptor, and when the concentration of SPFGO is high, the exciton dissociation at MEH-PPV/SPFGO interface can be improved, and the performance of OPV can be also improved. Therefore, the concentration of SPFGO should be the main factor in adjusting the performance of OLED and OPV separately.

The two magnetic measurement methods of superconductors, SQUID method and Campbell method, are introduced briefly. Superconducting properties of MgB2 bulk samples are prepared by the high-pressure powder in tube (PIT) sintering method. The two measurement methods are employed to measure the critical current density of the sample. The Jc-B curves of the MgB2 samples are obtained with each method. The SQUID method can be used to measure the magnetic strength field up to 6 T and the material is in normal state, and the result is used to scale F(b) of the pinning through necessary calculation which is used to study the magnetic characteristic of the material. The critical current density (Jc) measured by the SQUID method is the average of the materials different parts. Jc is measured and estimated by the Campbell's method. The magnetic field is only to 0.4 T while the frequency of the AC parts magnetic field is varied from 37 Hz to 797 Hz. The critical current density obtained by Campbell's method is smaller than that obtained by the SQUID measurement, which is due to the existence of various faults and the decrease of the electrical connectivity.
