This paper presented a microfluidic flow cytometer composed of a double T-type constriction channel with a predefined fluorescence detection window, enabling high-throughput characterization of intrinsic single-cell structural parameters of cell diameter (Dc)/nuclear diameter (D n ), and electrical parameters of specific membrane capacitance (Csm)/cytoplasmic conductivity ( $\sigma_{\text{cy}}$ ) based on a home-developed equivalent impedance-fluorescence model. As a demonstration, D c , D n , C sm and $\sigma_{\text{cy}}$ of single blood cells were quantified as $15.18\pm 1.00$ vs. $13.99\pm 1.91\ \mu\mathrm{m},\ 11.83\pm 1.75$ vs. $10.59\pm 1.35\ \mu \mathrm{m},\ 2.78\pm 0.41$ vs. $2.84\pm 0.84\ \mu\mathrm{F}/\text{cm}^{2}$ and $0.86\pm 0.19$ vs. $0.74\pm 0.35\ \mathrm{S}/\mathrm{m}$ for K562 ( $\mathrm{N}_{\text{cell}}=2173$ ) vs. Jurkat ( $\mathrm{N}_{\text{cell}}=1326$ ) cells. In comparison to hematology analyzers capable of only quantifying intrinsic biophysical parameters of D c , the microfluidic flow cytometer developed in this study can quantify four intrinsic parameters of D c , D n , C sm and $\sigma_{\text{cy}}$ simultaneously and improve the cell-type classification from 68.7% (D c ) to 84.0% (D c , D n , C sm and $\sigma_{\text{cy}}$ ).

Although intrinsic bioelectrical markers of single cells (e.g. specific membrane capacitance of Csm, cytoplasm conductivity of σcy and cell diameter of Dc) play key roles in cell-type classification and cell-status evaluation, due to technical limitations, data from large populations of single cells were not available. This paper presents a microfluidic platform to high-throughput quantify single-cell intrinsic bioelectrical markers of tumor cell lines, subtypes and patient tumor cells, where an asymmetrical constriction channel defined by a major and two side constriction channels was used as the sensitive unit. The developed microfluidic platform was used to quantify ∼100,000 single-cell Csm, σcy and Dc from (I) eight tumor cell lines of A549, Hep G2, SW620, AGS, PANC-1, Hela, CAL 27 and HL-60 with cell-type classification rates of 87.6 %±9.1 % obtained; (II) tumor cell subtypes of 293 T with and without the transfection of the CRISPR knockout library where different distributions of Csm were located; (III) patient tumor cells with classification rates of 96.1 %±3.8 % obtained compared with tumor cell lines. In conclusion, the microfluidic platform developed in this study can function as a high-throughput tool in the field of single-cell analysis.

In this paper, the cage nanoporous silica is composed of ethyl orthosilicate as silicon source, triblock copolymerpoly (ethylene oxide) -poly (propylene oxide) -polyethylene oxide (F127) as structure guide agent and additive, whilethe Fm3m cubic structure of cage type nanoporous silica was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method. It is easyto control the self-assembly of the silica triblock copolymer intermediates thermally. In addition, the change in samplepore size and pore volume can be achieved by a hydrothermal reaction at a temperature of 100 ° C to 150 °C. Smallangle X-ray diff raction shows that these samples have ordered pores, while adsorption studies show that they havehigh porosity, uniform distribution of bimodal pores and large pore volume. Use separation of p-methylbenzene borate,iodobenzene and biphenyl by using three kinds of cage-type nanoporous silica materials as chromatographic fi llers. Theresults showed that the material prepared at 130 ℃ under hydrothermal condition had the best eff ect on the separationof three organic compounds.

The electrochemical reduction of CO2 to ethylene provides a carbon-neutral avenue for the conversion of CO2 to value-added fuels and feedstocks, so contributing to the storage of intermittent renewable electricity. The exploration of efficient electrocatalysts with high ethylene selectivity and productivity is highly desirable but remains challenging. Here, we present a Cu-based catalyst derived from a metal-organic framework (Cu-MOF) which shows enhanced performance due to its porous morphology, complex oxidation states and strong lattice strain. X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and X-ray absorption spectroscopy are utilized to track the evolution of the crystal structure and oxidation states during the reaction, and the results reveal that Cu2+ ions are rapidly reduced to Cu+ and then slowly to Cu-0, resulting in a Cu@CuxO core@shell structure. The tensile strain caused by the distorted grain is beneficial for the activation of CO2. Cu+/Cu-0 interfaces formed through stabilized Cu+ facilitate *CO-CO dimerization, promoting conversion to C2+ products and suppressing conversion to C-1 products. The optimized catalyst exhibits a 51% Faraday efficiency (FE) for ethylene and a 70% FE for C2+ products, with 20 h operational stability in an H-cell configuration, and a partial ethylene current density of 150mA cm(-2) in a flow-cell configuration.
