Sweden has an ambitious plan to fully decarbonise district heating by 2030 and to contribute with negative emissions of greenhouse gases in 2050. The vagaries of the energy market associated with climate, political, and social changes entail cross-sectoral integration that can fulfill these national targets. Fifth-generation district heating and cooling (5GDHC) is a relatively new concept of district energy systems that features a simultaneous supply of heating and cooling using power-to-heat technologies. This paper presents best practices for developing 5GDHC systems in Sweden to reach a consensus view on these systems among all stakeholders. A mixed-method combining best practice and roadmapping workshops has been used to disseminate mixed knowledge and experience from middle agents representing industry professionals and practitioners. Four successful implementations of 5GDHC systems are demonstrated and the important learned lessons are shared. The best practices are outlined for system planning, system modeling and simulation, prevailing business models for energy communities, and system monitoring. A roadmap from the middle agents’ point of view is composed and can be utilised to establish industry standards and common regulatory frameworks.

We present a unique case of biopsy-proven necrotising sarcoidosis involving the central nervous system in a man in his 40s. The patient presented with a 2-week history of right-sided headache and diplopia. He had right trochlear and abducens nerve palsy, sensory blunting over V1 and V2 segment of right trigeminal sensory nerve and right sensory neural hearing loss. A contrast-enhanced MRI revealed an enhancing dural-based mass lesion in the petroclival area suggestive of probable meningioma. Surgical resection was attempted and intraoperative consultation with frozen section revealed granulomata. So, the lesion was biopsied and surgical intervention was terminated. A diagnosis of necrotising neurosarcoidosis was confirmed on histopathology. He was treated with steroids after excluding other causes of intracranial necrotising granulomas like tuberculosis and he clinically responded favourably. We report one of the very few case reports of histologically proven necrotising sarcoidosis involving the central nervous system mimicking petroclival meningioma.

Background: Gefitinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, is effectively used in the targeted treatment of malignant conditions. It suppresses the signal transduction cascades leading to cell proliferation in the tumors and is now currently approved in several countries globally as secondline and third-line treatment for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Objective: This review is aimed to summarize the journey of gefitinib as an established anticancer drug for the management of various cancers. Moreover, this review will focus on the mechanism of action, established anticancer activities, combination therapy, nanoformulations, as well as recent clinical trials and patents on gefitinib Methods: The data for this review was collected from scientific databases such as PubMed, Science Direct, Google Scholar, etc. Recent patents on gefitinib granted in the last two years were collected from databases Patentscope, USPTO, Espacenet, InPASS and Google Patents. Data for the recent clinical trials were obtained from the U.S. National Library of Medicine database. Results: Recent pre-clinical and clinical studies during the period 2015-2021 demonstrating the efficacy of gefitinib were selected and summarized. Total 31 patents were granted in the year 2020-2021 concerning gefitinib. The efficacy of gefitinib against lung cancer, as well as other cancer types, including breast, prostate, colon, cervix etc., was reviewed. Conclusion: Gefitinib showed significant advantages in being more effective, safer and more stable, and the associated biopharmaceutical problems are addressed by the application of nanotechnology. The combination therapy using gefitinib and various anticancer molecules of natural and synthetic origin has shown an improved anticancer profile.

Potassium (K) performs multiple essential functions in the plant, including enzyme activation and osmotic regulation. Citrus fruit quality gains considerable influence from potassium (K) fertilizer rate, application method, and sources used. The conducted field experiment assessed the impact and response of different levels of K applications on the quality and yield parameters of citrus fruit, determining a suitable time, stage, and K fertilizer dose for citrus trees. Comparing traditional K fertilizer, i.e., sulfate of potash (SOP), with new-generation potassium (NG-K) employed the use of foliar and soil (basal) applications. Treatments included (i) T1: Control (0 NPK), (ii) T2: Recommended NP and without K, (iii) T3: 500 g K as sulfate of potash (SOP) (basal), (iv) T4: New generation K (NG-K) fertilizer @1.5% (foliar), and (v) T5: 400 g NG-K fertilizer (basal). Observations revealed that citrus trees responded positively in growth characteristics, including fruit quality and physiological attributes, under both foliar and basal K fertilizer applications of different K sources. Notably, NG-K fertilizer proved a better source of K, whether applied as a basal dose or foliar spray. For growth characteristics like the fresh weight of leaves and fruit mass, obtaining the highest values of 35.2 and 172 g, respectively, resulted when applying a basal dose of NG-K. On the other hand, maximum total sugar content (13 mg L-1) and juice content (40%) occurred under foliar-applied NG-K. Foliar application of K fertilizer proved to be more effective for better growth and fruit quality parameters than the basal application of SOP.

On 24 September 2019, an Mw 5.9 earthquake struck near the Mangla reservoir in northeastern Pakistan and resulted in 39 fatalities and 746 serious injuries, making it the deadliest earthquake in the region since the 2005 Mw 7.6 Kashmir earthquake. Here, we integrate geodetic, seismic, and field observations to characterize the source properties and impact of the Mirpur earthquake as well as investigate whether it might be a reservoir-induced event. From inverting Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar data, we find that a fault with strike ∼310°, dip ∼6°, and rake ∼117° is the optimal source, with slip concentrated between 5 and 6 km depth. This is consistent with our relocated aftershocks depth distribution and the lack of surface rupture observed in the field. Therefore, we infer that the earthquake ruptured the Main Himalayan Thrust (MHT). The event’s shallow depth might explain the extensive damage caused despite its moderate magnitude, with a maximum shaking intensity of VIII based on our field survey. The survey also revealed extensive damages associated with earthquake-induced liquefaction. Our modeling shows that loading due to increased reservoir water level in the three months before the Mirpur earthquake led to Coulomb stress increase of ∼7–10 kPa on the rupture plane. However, this effect is ∼10 times smaller than the Coulomb stress increase due to the 2006 Mangla earthquake, and the Mirpur earthquake only occurred ∼1–2 weeks after peak water level. These suggest that pore pressure diffusion contributed to promoting the fault rupture at a time when it is close to failure due to accumulated stress from inter-seismic loading. Because the Mirpur earthquake resulted in a stress increase of >0.2 MPa on the surrounding sections of the MHT and nearby faults, future rupture of these faults is a significant hazard and proper management of reservoir operations is necessary to prevent further elevating the seismic risk.

The Sulaiman Fold Thrust (SFT) in Central Pakistan formed during the India-Eurasia collision in the late Cenozoic. However, the mechanics of shortening of the brittle crust at time scales of seismic cycles is still poorly understood. Here, we use radar interferometry to analyze the deformation associated with the 2015 magnitude (Mw) 5.7 Dajal blind earthquake at the eastern boundary of the SFT. We use kinematic inversions to determine the distribution of slip on the frontal ramp and of flexural slip along active axial surfaces for the forward- and backward-verging two end-member models: a double fault-bend-fold system and a fault-propagation-fold. In both models, a décollement branches into a shallow ramp at approximately 7.5 km depth with coseismic folding in the hanging wall. The Dajal earthquake ruptured the base of the Boundary Thrust buried under the sediment from the Indus-River floodplain, representing fault-bend or fault-propagation folding some 30 km off its nearest surface exposure.

According to the American cancer society, breast cancer is one of the leading causes of women's mortality worldwide. Early identification and treatment are the most effective approaches to halt the spread of this cancer. The objective of this article is to give a comparison of eight machine learning algorithms, including logistic regression (LR), random forest (RF), K-nearest neighbors (KNN), decision tree (DT), ada boost (AB), support vector machine (SVM), gradient boosting (GB), and Gaussian Naive Bayes (GNB) for breast cancer detection. The breast cancer Wisconsin (diagnostic) dataset is being utilized to validate the findings of this study. The comparison was made using the following performance metrics: accuracy, sensitivity, false omission rate, specificity, false discovery rate and area under curve. The LR method achieved a maximum accuracy of 99.12% among all eight algorithms and was compared to other comparable studies in the literature. The five features chosen are used to calculate the model's fidelity-to-interpretability ratio (FIR), which indicates how much interpretability was sacrificed for performance. The uniqueness of this work is the explainability approach taken in the model's performance, which aims to make the model's outputs more understandable and interpretable to healthcare experts.

Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD), the primary cause of dementia, escalating worldwide, has no proper diagnosis or effective treatment. Neuronal cell death and impairment of cognitive abilities, possibly triggered by several brain mechanisms, are the most significant characteristic of this disorder. Methods: A multitude of pharmacological targets have been identified for potential drug design against AD. Although many advances in treatment strategies have been made to correct various abnormalities, these often exhibit limited clinical significance because this disease aggressively progresses into different regions of the brain, causing severe deterioration. Results: These biomarkers can be game-changers for early detection and timely monitoring of such disorders. Conclusion: This review covers clinically significant biomarkers of AD for precise and early monitoring of risk factors and stages of this disease, the potential site of action and novel targets for drugs, and pharmacological approaches to clinical management.

Abstract: The phytochemicals have antioxidant properties to counter the deleterious effects of oxidative stress in the central nervous system and can be a promising drug candidate for neurodegenerative diseases. Among various phytochemicals, recently, constituents of spice origin have received special attention for neurodegenerative diseases owing to their health benefits, therapeutic potential, edible nature, and dietary accessibility and availability. Carvacrol, a phenolic monoterpenoid, has garnered attention in the treatment and management of various human diseases. It possesses diverse pharmacological effects including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anticancer. Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Parkinson's disease (PD) are major public health concerns that place a significant financial burden on healthcare systems worldwide. The global burden of these diseases is expected to increase in the next few decades owing to increasing life expectancies. Currently, there is no cure for neurodegenerative diseases such as, AD and PD, and the available drugs only give symptomatic relief. For a long time, oxidative stress has been recognized as a primary contributor to neurodegeneration. Carvacrol enhances memory and cognition via modulating the effects of oxidative stress, inflammation, and Aβ25-35-induced neurotoxicity in AD. Moreover, it also reduces the production of reactive oxygen species and proinflammatory cytokine levels in PD, which further prevent the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra and improves motor functions. This review highlights the potential antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of carvacrol in the management and treatment of AD and PD.

The goal of this study is to review the overall prevalence, burden, and distribution of the dengue disease in Pakistan from 2000 to 2019. Literature was searched using different search engines like Google scholar, PubMed, etc. providing the keywords “Dengue disease/infection, Dengue virus, DENV, DF/DHF/ DSS Pakistan”. All the published research papers/reports on the dengue virus over the period 2000 to 2019 were studied and selected data were summarized using MS Excel for windows such as total cases, age wise, gender, DENV serotype distribution, total DHF, and DSS patients. The literature providing insufficient data was excluded. The total number of cases reported during 2000-19 were 201,269. The maximum number of cases during the mentioned literature survey period was reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) (23.3%) followed by Punjab (3.8%) and Sindh (1.9%). The majority of dengue-infected cases were reported as Dengue fever (74.4%) followed by DHF (24.1%) and DSS (1.5%). Overall the deaths during the mentioned literature survey were 1082, of which the maximum mortalities were reported from KP (N=248) followed by Punjab (N=220). DENV remains a major public health problem in Pakistan and seems to remain endemic for a long time. The total prevalence of dengue infection is increased accordingly with time from 2000 to 2019. Moreover, all the four serotypes exist in Pakistan with increased mortalities.

Rodents can cause significant damage to wheat-groundnut crops in developing countries, as well as to stored produce and infrastructure, affecting food security and income of small-holder farmers. Wheat (Triticum aestivum) and groundnuts (Arachis hypogea) are important cash crops for local farmers in Pakistan. Field experiments were performed to assess the extent of rodent damage to wheat-groundnut crops throughout their growth stages (i.e, germination, flowering/peg formation and maturity) in the agro-ecological zones of Pothwar Plateau, Pakistan. We used a quadrat method to record the number of damaged crop plants. On the basis of the trapping data four rodent species were captured from wheat-groundnut cropping systems which were responsible for causing damage, i.e., lesser bandicoot rat (Bandicota bengalensis) was the main species, followed by the short-tailed mole rat (Nesokia indica), the Indian gerbil (Tatera indica) and the bush rat (Golunda ellioti). In both crops, the maximum damage was recorded at crop maturity (10.7 and 14.4%, respectively). The lowest reported damage to wheat and groundnuts was at the germination stage (3.5% and 6.0%, respectively). The lower damage reported at germination could be due to availability of non-crop vegetation at field borders that may be a potential factor influencing damage. Our findings clearly show the considerable amount of damage caused by rodents to wheat-groundnut at maturity across all the agro-ecological zones of Pothwar and indicated that the small mammal composition was more related to maturity stage/season of crops, when the availability of food and climatic condition were favorable and having security under crop shelter. More detailed studies are needed to fully understand the population and breeding ecology of the relevant rodent pest species in relation to damage patterns to optimize management beyond individual structural measures. Resumo Os roedores podem causar danos significativos às culturas de trigo e amendoim nos países em desenvolvimento, bem como aos produtos armazenados e infraestrutura, afetando a segurança alimentar e a renda dos pequenos agricultores. O trigo (Triticum aestivum) e o amendoim (Arachis hypogea) são culturas comerciais importantes para os agricultores locais no Paquistão. Experimentos de campo foram realizados para avaliar a extensão dos danos de roedores às culturas de trigo e amendoim ao longo de seus estágios de crescimento (ou seja, germinação, floração/formação e maturidade) nas zonas agroecológicas de Pothwar Plateau, Paquistão. Usamos um método de quadrat para registrar o número de plantas de cultura danificadas. Com base nos dados de armadilhagem foram capturadas quatro espécies de roedores de sistemas de cultivo de trigo-amendoim que foram responsáveis por causar danos, ou seja, o rato-bandico-pequeno (Bandicota bengalensis) foi a espécie principal, seguido pelo rato-toupeira-de-cauda-curta (Nesokia indica), o gerbilo-da-índia (Tatera indica) e o rato-do-mato (Golunda ellioti). Em ambas as culturas, o dano máximo foi registrado na maturidade da cultura (10,7 e 14,4%, respectivamente). O menor dano relatado ao trigo e ao amendoim foi no estágio de germinação (3,5% e 6,0%, respectivamente). O menor dano relatado na germinação pode ser devido à disponibilidade de vegetação não cultivada nas bordas do campo, que pode ser um fator potencial que influencia o dano. Nossos resultados mostraram claramente a quantidade considerável de danos causados por roedores ao trigo-amendoim na maturidade em todas as zonas agroecológicas de Pothwar e indicaram que a composição de pequenos mamíferos estava mais relacionada ao estágio de maturidade/estação das culturas quando a disponibilidade de alimentos e as condições climáticas eram favoráveis e com segurança sob abrigo de cultivo. Estudos mais detalhados são necessários para entender completamente a ecologia populacional e reprodutiva das espécies de pragas de roedores relevantes em relação aos padrões de danos para otimizar o manejo, além das medidas estruturais individuais.

The present study was carried out in Hayat Abad Industrial Estate located in Peshawar to assess the levels of cadmium (Cd) that were present in the soil as well as the plant parts (Roots and shoots). To evaluate the phytoremediation potential of the plants different factors i.e. Bioconcentration Factor (BCF), Translocation Factor (TF), and Bioaccumulation Coefficient were determined. These plants were grown in their native habitats (BAC). We have analysed, cadmium concentration from soil which are collected from 50 different locations ranged from 11.54 mg/Kg (the lowest) to 89.80 mg/Kg (highest). The maximum concentration (89.80 mg/Kg) of cadmium was found in HIE-ST-16L Marble City and HIE-ST-7 Bryon Pharma (88.51 mg/Kg) while its minimum concentration (12.47 mg/Kg) were detected in the soil of Site (HIE-ST-14L Royal PVC Pipe) and (11.54 mg/Kg) at the site (HIE-ST-11 Aries Pharma). Most plant species showed huge potential for plant based approaches like phyto-extraction and phytoremediation. They also showed the potential for phyto-stabilization as well. Based on the concentration of cadmium the most efficient plants for phytoextraction were Cnicus benedictus, Parthenium hysterophorus, Verbesina encelioides, Conyza canadensis, Xanthium strumarium, Chenopodium album, Amaranthus viridis, Chenopodiastrum murale, Prosopis juliflora, Convolvulus arvensis, Stellaria media, Arenaria serpyllifolia, Cerastium dichotomum, Chrozophora tinctoria, Mirabilis jalapa, Medicago polymorpha, Lathyrus aphaca, Dalbergia sissoo, Melilotus indicus and Anagallis arvensis. The cadmium heavy metals in the examined soil were effectively removed by these plant species. Cerastium dichotomum, and Chenopodium murale were reported to be effective in phyto-stabilizing Cd based on concentrations of selected metals in roots and BCFs, TFs, and BACs values. Resumo O presente estudo foi realizado em Hayat Abad Industrial Estate, localizado em Peshawar, para avaliar os níveis de cádmio (Cd) que estavam presentes no solo, bem como nas partes da planta (raízes e brotos). Para avaliar o potencial de fitorremediação das plantas foram determinados diferentes fatores, ou seja, Fator de Bioconcentração (BCF), Fator de Translocação (TF) e Coeficiente de Bioacumulação. Essas plantas foram cultivadas em seus habitats nativos (BAC). Analisamos a concentração de cádmio do solo coletada em 50 locais diferentes, variando de 11,54 mg/Kg (o mais baixo) a 89,80 mg/Kg (o mais alto). A concentração máxima (89,80 mg/Kg) de cádmio foi encontrada em HIE-ST-16L Marble City e HIE-ST-7 Bryon Pharma (88,51 mg/Kg) enquanto sua concentração mínima (12,47 mg/Kg) foi detectada no solo do local (HIE-ST-14L Royal PVC Pipe) e (11,54 mg/Kg) no local (HIE-ST-11 Aries Pharma). A maioria das espécies de plantas mostrou um enorme potencial para abordagens baseadas em plantas, como fitoextração e fitorremediação. Eles também mostraram o potencial de fitoestabilização. Com base na concentração de cádmio, as plantas mais eficientes para fitoextração foram Cnicus benedictus, Parthenium hysterophorus, Verbesina encelioides, Conyza canadensis, Xanthium strumarium, Chenopodium album, Amaranthus viridis, Chenopodiastrum murale, Prosopis juliflora, Convolvulus arvensis, Stellaria media, Arenaria serpyllifolia, Cerastium dichotomum, Chrozophora tinctoria, Mirabilis jalapa, Medicago polymorpha, Lathyrus aphaca, Dalbergia sissoo, Melilotus indicus e Anagallis arvensis. Os metais pesados de cádmio no solo examinado foram efetivamente removidos por essas espécies de plantas. Cerastium dichotomum e Chenopodium murale foram relatados como eficazes na fitoestabilização do Cd com base nas concentrações de metais selecionados nas raízes e nos valores de BCFs, TFs e BACs.

A new precise, selective and reliable reversed phase high performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method has been developed and validated for the determination of Methyl paraben sodium (MPS) and Propyl paraben sodium (PPS) (preservatives) in Iron protein succinylate syrup. Optimized conditions were; Methanol: Water (65: 35) as mobile phase, UV/Vis detector at the wavelength of 254 nm and flow rate was set at 1.3 ml min−1. By applying the set of conditions, separation of components was carried out in less than 7 min for both the analytes. The method was validated according to International conference of Harmonization (ICH) guidelines and the analytical characteristic parameters of validation included specificity, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification, linearity, accuracy, precision and robustness were evaluated. The calibration curve was found to be linear in the range of 0.045 mg mL−1 to 0.075 mg mL−1 for Methyl paraben sodium and 0.015 mg mL−1 to 0.025 mg mL−1 for propyl paraben sodium with a correlation coefficient r2 > 0.999. Accuracy; reported as percentage recovery was found to be in the range of 98.71%–101.64% for Methyl paraben sodium and 99.85%–101.47% for Propyl paraben sodium at 80%, 100% and 120% concentration for both the analytes. The proposed method was found to be precise and robust when evaluated by variations in wavelength, mobile phase composition, temperature and analyst. The limit of detection (LOD) was found 0.001 mg mL−1 (3 ppm) for Methyl paraben sodium and 0.001 mg mL−1 (1 ppm) for Propyl paraben sodium.

There are many variables involved in real life problem child mortality so it is difficult to choose an significant results out all of possible years relating to analytical factors. Child mortality rate is an issue specially in the developing and under developed countries. Because many children died due to different kind of diseases and unavailability of the health facilities, especially in under developed countries. The current research focus on the child mortality rate analysis. The analysis is carried out for the child mortality rate by the geographical analysis over time. The results shows that the highest mortality rate was found high in Angola 392.4367 and lowest was found in 187 United kingdom. The child mortality rate was found to be different through centuries and through year in two way analysis of variance test.

Oral health is one of the significant indicators determining the population’s overall health and well-being status. Good oral health is a fundamental human right irrespective of demographic differences. Therefore, this study compared the barriers to accessing oral healthcare facilities among males and females living in peri-urban communities. This comparative cross-sectional study was conducted in the peri-urban communities of Sargodha. Using the random number method, this study used a simple random sampling technique to identify 320 houses; 160 males and 160 females who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were interviewed. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a chi-square test. The results showed that more males (78.13%) were users of dental services than females (53.75%); however, a meagre number of both genders were making regular visits to oral healthcare facilities. Expensive treatment was one of the significant barriers to visiting oral healthcare facilities for males (85.00%) and females (75.63%). Moreover, time shortage was a significant barrier, mainly reported by almost three-fourths of the males (72.50%), but fewer females (20.63%) considered it a vital barrier (p < 0.05). Furthermore, for both genders, various barriers varied widely, including fear of the dentist, avoiding treatment, lack of awareness, family pressure to avoid visiting clinics, and reliance on home remedies (p < 0.05). Therefore, this study concluded that more males than females visit oral healthcare services. However, most males and females do not visit oral healthcare facilities for regular checkups but for any oral health problem ailment. Both males and females make out-of-pocket expenditures to afford oral health services. Males preferred private oral healthcare facilities, whereas females preferred public healthcare facilities to provide oral healthcare services. Males and females observed the cost of treatment for oral healthcare issues, shortage of time, and fear as the key barriers to accessing oral healthcare facilities.

The majority of the structures are involved with architectural importance and it is highly impossible to achieve uniform structural properties in all directions. Hence earthquake resistant design codes considered it as irregular frames based on relative difference in the story properties. In many cases these irregularities are responsible for structural collapse of buildings under earthquake ground motions. The seismic response of buildings with irregular distribution of stiffness along the height may be differentfrom that ofregular building. Also, past earthquakes showed that structure may be subjected to sequence of ground motions but current codes do not have guidelines for such cases. It is considered that aftershock do not cause any more damage to damaged structure by the preceding mainshock ground motion. In this study steel moment resisting frame buildings are evaluated to understand the seismic response of vertical stiffness irregular frames subjected to mainshock-aftershock ground motions. The 9-story steel moment resisting frame building situated in Los Angeles is used in this study was originally developed as part of the SAC steel project. In this study soft and stiff storey case was considered at three different locations along the height, i.e., at bottom storey, mid-height storey and top storey. The single modification factor is used for irregularity. For comparison purpose dynamic properties of regular and irregular frames are kept same. Two sets of 6 records were selected representing a seismic hazard level of 2% and 10% probability of exceedance in 50 years respectively as mainshock. Two sets of 30 mainshockaftershock ground motion are considered for the study. These ground motions were developed using randomized approach. A non-linear time history analysis of regular and irregular building is carried out separately under mainshock and mainshockaftershock. The effect of building irregularity was studied for single storey modification at bottom storey, mid-storey and top storey with comparison to regular building. The comparison of a regular and irregular building is carried out in terms of maximum roof displacement and interstorey drift ratio. Also, comparison of frames under mainshock and mainshock-aftershock is done.

Objective: This study aims to assess the stress and coping skills among undergraduate medical students. Methods: A quantitative cross sectional study conducted from September to November 2022, in University College of medicine and dentistry, UOL. The participants were MBBS students of 1st year until final year. The data was collected by using three questionnaires: demographic form, suanprung stress test and COPE inventory and was analyzed by using SPSS25. Associated factors of stress were analyzed by Kruskal-wallis and chi square test. Results: Data was collected from 675/780 undergraduate medical students with a response rate of 86.5%. Female students responded (53%) in majority as compared to males (47%). According to the association between general demographic characteristics and coping strategies, gender, scores, religion, and illness have been found to have significant correlation with adaptive coping strategies. These demographic characteristics may influence how an individual responds to stress and may affect their ability to use adaptive coping strategies. The tourism industry is well-known in the services sector. However, unstable jobs and insecure careers have impacts on career commitment, which are major concerns for the relevant stakeholders. The recent experience of the global pandemic COVID-19 has also exacerbated the jobs situation and reiterated the prevailing uncertainty in the tourism industry. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to carry out a systematic literature review (SLR) for exploring and analyzing the published scientific studies on the specific issue and highlight areas for further research. The systematic literature review based on PRISMA framework was follows, considering criteria of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Initially, 200 records were identified, ended with 32 included records for detailed review. Results indicates the use of unethical pro-organization behavior (UPoB), anti-social activities, working conditions, relationship between worker and supervisor, and some controllable and uncontrollable factors significantly impact turnover intentions of employees, requires mitigation through certain staff retention policies, particularly under uncertain and crises driven situations. The study provides further research directions for researchers, related to the theoretical and practical aspects. Limitations of the study are discussed in the concluding part of the article.

Despite soil having an abundance of iron (Fe), it is unavailable for proper plant growth and development. One of the mechanisms plants use to deal with iron deficiency is the uptake of iron by chelating phytosiderophores. Pseudomonas fluorescence can produce pyoverdine-type siderophore and has potential application in agriculture as an iron chelator. Therefore, bacterial isolates collected from different areas of district Faisalabad were screened for their fluorescent, siderophore production and indole acetic acid equivalents. After selecting efficient strains from a screening test, they were evaluated for improving wheat and maize production under field conditions. The results showed that out of 15 isolates, 7 were found to have significant plant-beneficial microbial traits. Efficient strains promoted grain yield by 24.2% and 20.2%, plant height by 30.9% and 23.7%, total grain weight by 25.3% and 13.4% over control in wheat and maize, respectively. Similarly, significant improvements in the number of grains per cob/spike were also observed. Analyses of grain iron contents depicted 67% increase as compared to control in for maize. Therefore, based on the results, it is concluded that bio-fortification of cereal crops through fluorescent producing siderophoric microbes is an effective strategy favorable for plant growth and development through nutrient solubilization/mobilization.

Bio-organic fertilizers can improve soil health and maintain microbial activity. The application of Aspergillus spp. can degrade organic matter, promote plant growth, and improve soil health by accelerating soil nutrients and biological activity. Previously, Aspergillus spp. has shown potential in phosphate solubilization and siderophore production. Still, a study gap remains, and focus has been placed on clarifying the impact of Aspergillus sp. AS2022 on soil microbial biomass and soil nutrient acceleration. For this purpose, a pot experiment was established with four different treatments: cow compost (CC), cow compost + AS2022 (CA), AS2022 (AS) strain only and control-only soil (CK). The amount of cow compost used was 180 mg N kg-1. Results revealed that inoculation of AS2022 with cow compost stimulated nitrogen mineralization and enhanced available nitrogen and accelerated the soil enzyme activities, which proposed that it could contribute to wheat crop production through the initial and later phases of plant growth. Although a single application of AS2022 enhances plant growth compared to the control, it might be the release of secondary metabolites. However, our short-term findings showed that the combined application of beneficial fungal strain AS2022 along cow compost was suitable culture for wheat crop production and improvement of soil quality through organic matter degradation and accelerating soil nutrients.

Cosmetics and personal care products (PCPs) are a few of the most commonly used products across the globe with a whopping market share of approximately USD 500 billion. These products are used for cleansing purposes and for improving the quality and beauty of the face, hair, and skin. There are many chemical substances involved in the manufacturing of cosmetics and PCPs. These chemical substances incorporated in cosmetics or PCPs are crucial to develop high-quality products with superior appearance, applicability, and stability; however, excessive use of such chemicals in cosmetics and PCPs has become a safety concern as many of these are reported to cause severe health complications. Overuse of cosmetics and PCPs with hazardous material should be minimized, especially by pregnant women and children. Gynecologists advise pregnant women not to use cosmetics and PCPs with hazardous chemicals. The implementation of a lawful framework is crucial to establish the safety of cosmetics and PCPs. Cosmetic companies/industries must be strictly regulated and made compliant to the guidelines in order to protect human health and minimize safety concerns. In this review, hazardous chemicals incorporated in the personal care products/cosmetics and their related risk and health complications have been discussed in detail. Additionally, regulatory status and clinical trials of chemical substances that involve toxicity and causing severe complications have also been discussed.

Background: In this research, premenopausal women with HR-HPV infections and atypical cervical smears were compared by age. Materials and method: 200 regularly screened women between the ages of 36 and 60 had a cervical smear and HPV detection. Demographic, behavioral, and medical data were gathered by telephone surveys. Descriptive analysis was used to look at the connection between HR-HPV infections and cervical aberrations by age. Results: Age significantly decreased the number of cases of cervical abnormalities, HR-HPV, and human papillomavirus, as well as the correlation among these disorders. In younger females with abnormalities, HR-HPV detection was 60%; however, it steadily decreased to 30% in "50-54-year-old" women, without abnormalities found in 55-60 years old females. Different relationships between HR-HPV infection and anomalies remained found in females over 45, a pattern not observed in females who were young by age. Conclusion: Age had no effect on several kinds of low-grade and severe anomalies, but we saw a decline in the agreement among cytological results and HR-HPV tests.

Operating solid oxide cells (SOC) in the fuel cell moder as well as in electrolyser mode increases the demands on the stability of glass-based sealants due to higher cell voltages and water contents in the steam atmospheres. Glasses in the system BaO-CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 with B2O3 and La2O3-additions form glass ceramics with extraordinary high CTE-values, suitable as sealants compatible with Crofer 22 APU interconnect in electrolyte supported stacks. The intrinsic properties of a set of glasses are characterized. Sandwich type sealing samples are exposed to a dual atmosphere at 850 °C with an electric voltage of 1,3 V applied across the sealants and a water content of 50 % in the steam atmosphere. In this out-of-stack environment, the resistance of the sealants is recorded. Their resistance over aging time indicates degradation phenomena like interface reactions. By SEM analysis, reactions between sealants and steel interconnect can be correlated with insulating characteristics.

Perovskite-type metal oxides with a nominal chemical formula of Nd1-xBaxCo0.8Fe0.2O3-δ (NBCF) (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.7) were prepared by solid-state synthesis method at 1300 °C in air. All members were found to be multiphase. 4-probe DC chronopotentiometry measurements were performed on the sintered sample pellets. The x = 0.4 member reaches a maximum conductivity of 1068 S/cm at 300 °C in air. Among the samples studied, the x = 0.55 member exhibits the lowest area specific polarization resistance (ASR) of 0.026 Ω cm2 for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) at 750 °C in air.
