In order to study the elastic contact fatigue problems of composite cylindrical roller bearing, through the three stages of contact fatigue crack initiation, propagation, and ablating of cylindrical roller bearing theoretically analyzed, the subsurface stress is one of the factors of contact fatigue damage. By finite element method and theoretical analytic method with solid cylindrical roller bearing contact surface, the size and distribution of shear stress are analyzed, and comparing the calculation results of two methods, the comparison results show that the finite element method to calculate the bearing contact problem is scientific and reasonable. Through the finite element method of cylindrical roller bearing and elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing subsurface shear stress and equivalent stress on the surface of numerical analysis, the calculation results show that the subsurface stress value of elastic composite cylindrical roller bearings was 31.65% smaller than that of ordinary cylindrical roller bearings, and the distribution of the maximum subsurface stress value of elastic composite cylindrical roller bearings was shallower than that of cylindrical roller bearings. The elastic composite cylindrical roller bearings have significant advantages over cylindrical roller bearings in terms of subsurface stress and have stronger resistance to contact fatigue damage. The finite element method is used to analyze the subsurface stress of elastic composite cylindrical roller bearings with different filling degrees. The results show that the subsurface shear stress and equivalent stress values of elastic composite cylindrical roller bearings with filling degrees of 55% to 65% are maintained at a relatively low level, and the depth of the maximum stress is minimal, which is basically distributed on the surface of the rolling body. The magnitude and distribution of subsurface stresses in elastic composite cylindrical roller bearings provide a reference for more reasonable structural design.

Background: With rapid socioeconomic development and transition, associations between socioeconomic status (SES) and hypertension remained uncertain in China. We aimed to examine the health effects of SES on hypertension incidence and explore the sex differences among Chinese adults. Methods: We included 53 891 participants without hypertension from the China-PAR (Prediction for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk in China) project. SES was evaluated by education level, occupation prestige, and household monthly per capita income, and categorized into low, medium, and high groups. Hazard ratios and their 95% CIs were calculated using Cox proportional hazards regression models. Results: Compared with high SES, participants with medium SES (hazard ratio, 1.142 [95% CI, 1.068–1.220]) or low SES (hazard ratio, 1.166 [95% CI, 1.096–1.241]) had increased risks of incident hypertension in multivariate analyses. Interactions between SES and sex on hypertension were observed, with more pronounced adverse effects of lower SES among women. The corresponding hazard ratios (95% CIs) for low SES group were 1.270 (1.155–1.397) for women and 1.086 (0.999–1.181) for men. Effects of occupation prestige on hypertension were the strongest among SES factors. Conclusions: Our study provided the compelling evidence from China that lower SES was associated with incident hypertension and women were more susceptible. These findings will have substantial implications on future hypertension prevention and management, especially among women. Sex-specific approaches are warranted to reduce socioeconomic disparities.

A steric hindrance strategy was used to prepare intramolecular hydrogen bond-controlled thermosensitive fluorescent carbon dots (CDs) via the solvothermal treatment of o-phenylenediamine respectively with three dihydroxybenzene isomers. The CDs obtained from different isomers have very similar morphology, surfaces, and photophysical properties but exhibited different thermal sensitivities. Meanwhile, the orange-emitting CDs (p-CDs) obtained from o-phenylenediamine and p-hydroquinone exhibited an optimal thermal sensitivity of 1.1%/°C. Comprehensive experimental characterizations and theoretical calculations revealed that even a small difference in substituent locations in the phenyl ring of the precursors can considerably affect the formation of intramolecular hydrogen bonds and that the CDs with strong intramolecular hydrogen bonds exhibited poor thermosensitivity. The p-CDs were incorporated with reference CDs (B-CDs) that exhibited heating-quenching blue emission through electrostatic self-assembly to construct a dual-emission probe (p-CDs/B-CDs), which exhibited a thermal sensitivity of 2.0%/°C. Test strips based on the p-CDs/B-CDs were prepared to measure temperature fluctuations based on sensitive and instant fluorescence color evolution. Further, this fluorescent colorimetry was successfully applied to a test strip-integrated wearable wristband to measure the body temperature. This study establishes an inherent relationship between precursors and the resulting intramolecular hydrogen bonds for precisely tuning the thermal sensitivity of CDs. It also offers a visual quantitative strategy for the early warning of abnormal body temperatures.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death in many countries, and an accurate histopathological diagnosis is of great importance in subsequent treatment. The aim of this study was to establish the random forest (RF) model based on radiomic features to automatically classify and predict lung adenocarcinoma (ADC), lung squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and small cell lung cancer (SCLC) on unenhanced computed tomography (CT) images. Eight hundred and fifty-two patients (mean age: 61.4, range: 29–87, male/female: 536/316) with preoperative unenhanced CT and postoperative histopathologically confirmed primary lung cancers, including 525 patients with ADC, 161 patients with SCC, and 166 patients with SCLC, were included in this retrospective study. Radiomic features were extracted, selected, and then used to establish the RF classification model to analyse and classify primary lung cancers into three subtypes, including ADC, SCC, and SCLC according to histopathological results. The training (446 ADC, 137 SCC, and 141 SCLC) and testing cohorts (79 ADC, 24 SCC, and 25 SCLC) accounted for 85% and 15% of the whole datasets, respectively. The prediction performance of the RF classification model was evaluated by F1 scores and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. On the testing cohort, the areas under the ROC curve (AUC) of the RF model in classifying ADC, SCC, and SCLC were 0.74, 0.77, and 0.88, respectively. The F1 scores achieved 0.80, 0.40, and 0.73 in ADC, SCC, and SCLC, respectively, and the weighted average F1 score was 0.71. In addition, for the RF classification model, the precisions were 0.72, 0.64, and 0.70; the recalls were 0.86, 0.29, and 0.76; and the specificities were 0.55, 0.96, and 0.92 in ADC, SCC, and SCLC. The primary lung cancers were feasibly and effectively classified into ADC, SCC, and SCLC based on the combination of RF classification model and radiomic features, which has the potential for noninvasive predicting histological subtypes of primary lung cancers.

ObjectiveTo examine whether adherence to ideal cardiovascular health (CVH) can mitigate the genetic risk of coronary artery disease (CAD) in non-European populations.MethodsFine and Grey’s models were used to calculate HRs and their corresponding 95% CIs, as well as the lifetime risk of CVH metrics across Polygenic Risk Score (PRS) categories.ResultsWe included 39 755 individuals aged 30–75 years in Chinese prospective cohorts. 1275 CAD cases were recorded over a mean follow-up of 12.9 years. Compared with unfavourable CVH profile (zero to three ideal CVH metrics), favourable CVH profile (six to seven ideal CVH metrics) demonstrated similar relative effects across PRS categories, with the HRs of 0.40 (95% CI 0.24 to 0.67), 0.41 (95% CI 0.32 to 0.52) and 0.36 (95% CI 0.26 to 0.52) in low (bottom quintile of PRS), intermediate (two to four quintiles of PRS) and high (top quintile of PRS) PRS categories, respectively. For the absolute risk reduction (ARR), individuals with high PRS achieved the greatest benefit from favourable CVH, mitigating the risk to the average level of population (from 21.1% to 8.7%), and the gradient was strengthened in individuals at the top 5% of PRS. Moreover, compared with individuals at low PRS, those at high PRS obtained longer CAD-free years (2.6 vs 1.1) from favourable CVH at the index age of 35 years.ConclusionFavourable CVH profile reduced the CAD relative risk by similar magnitude across PRS categories, while the ARR from favourable CVH was most pronounced in high PRS category. Attaining favourable CVH should be encouraged for all individuals, especially in individuals with high genetic susceptibility.

This paper expounds the current situation of China's foreign investment, analyzes the problems existing in China's foreign investment, finds out the obstacles to China's foreign investment, and takes corresponding countermeasures.

The trade-off between the benefits of regular physical activity (PA) and the potentially detrimental effects of augmented exposure to air pollution in highly polluted regions remains unclear. This study aimed to examine whether ambient fine particulate matter (PMWe included 54,797 participants without hypertension at baseline in a nationwide cohort of the Prediction for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk in China (China-PAR) project. PA volume and intensity were assessed by questionnaire, and high-resolution (1 km ×1 km) PMDuring 413,516 person-years of follow-up, 12,100 incident hypertension cases were identified. Myocarditis is a complex disease characterized by myocardial inflammatory cell infiltration. The purpose of our study was to investigate the gene and single-cell signature to explore the involvement of immune cells in myocarditis. Gene expressions merged from GSE35182 and GSE35182 datasets were subjected to differential expression gene (DEG) analysis and PPI network construction. The correlation analysis of DEGs with immune cell infiltration was performed. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) was downloaded from GSE174458. A total of 58 DEGs were identified, including 51 DEGs upregulated and 7 DEGs downregulated in the myocarditis group compared with the control group. GO and KEGG enrichment analyses revealed that myocarditis triggered DEGs mainly involved in immune-related processes and pathways. PPI network analysis identified 20 central hub genes. Occurrence of myocarditis induced significant enrichment of conventional dendritic cell 2 (cDC2), plasmacytoid DC, and plasma cell in myocardial tissue. Mmp12, Gpnmb, and Atp6v0d2 expressions were positively correlated with cDC abundance, of which only Mmp1 and Gpnmb were shared with hub gene list. A total of 20972 cells in scRNA-seq yielded 26 cell clusters and annotated 9 cell types, including fibroblasts, neutrophils, stromal cells, monocytes, basophils, B cells, natural killer T cells, innate lymphoid cells, and T cells, and only proportion of natural killer T cells and monocytes were higher in the myocarditis than in control. Monocytes annotated 3 subclusters including DC, macrophage, and monocytes. Hub genes of Ctss, Mpeg1, Cybb, H2-Ab1, Ly86, CD74, and Lgals3 were highly expressed in monocytes cluster. Among DC-correlated DEGs, Mmp12 was mainly expressed in monocyte cluster, and Gpnmb was mainly expressed in fibroblast cluster, whereas Atp6v0d2 expression has a weaker signal and weaker cell preference. In conclusion, DC infiltration and its associated pivotal genes may be responsible for progression of myocarditis. Our study expands and provides novel information on the immune cell engagement of myocarditis.

Background: The availability of whole-genome sequencing data in large studies has enabled the assessment of coding and noncoding variants across the allele frequency spectrum for their associations with blood pressure. Methods: We conducted a multiancestry whole-genome sequencing analysis of blood pressure among 51 456 Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine and Centers for Common Disease Genomics program participants (stage-1). Stage-2 analyses leveraged array data from UK Biobank (N=383 145), Million Veteran Program (N=318 891), and Reasons for Geographic and Racial Differences in Stroke (N=10 643) participants, along with whole-exome sequencing data from UK Biobank (N=199 631) participants. Results: Two blood pressure signals achieved genome-wide significance in meta-analyses of stage-1 and stage-2 single variant findings ( P -8 ). Among them, a rare intergenic variant at novel locus, LOC100506274 , was associated with lower systolic blood pressure in stage-1 (beta [SE]=−32.6 [6.0]; P =4.99×10 -8 ) but not stage-2 analysis ( P =0.11). Furthermore, a novel common variant at the known INSR locus was suggestively associated with diastolic blood pressure in stage-1 (beta [SE]=−0.36 [0.07]; P =4.18×10 -7 ) and attained genome-wide significance in stage-2 (beta [SE]=−0.29 [0.03]; P =7.28×10 -23 ). Nineteen additional signals suggestively associated with blood pressure in meta-analysis of single and aggregate rare variant findings ( P -6 and P -4 , respectively). Discussion: We report one promising but unconfirmed rare variant for blood pressure and, more importantly, contribute insights for future blood pressure sequencing studies. Our findings suggest promise of aggregate analyses to complement single variant analysis strategies and the need for larger, diverse samples, and family studies to enable robust rare variant identification.

During multidrug combination chemotherapy, activation of the nuclear receptor and the transcription factor human pregnane xenobiotic receptor (hPXR) has been shown to play a role in the development of chemoresistance. Mechanistically, this could occur due to the cancer drug activation of hPXR and the subsequent upregulation of hPXR target genes such as the drug metabolism enzyme, cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4). In the context of hPXR-mediated drug resistance, hPXR antagonists would be useful adjuncts to PXR-activating chemotherapy. However, there are currently no clinically approved hPXR antagonists in the market. Gefitinib (GEF), a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used for the treatment of advanced non-small-cell lung cancer and effectively used in combinational chemotherapy treatments, is a promising candidate owing to its hPXR ligand-like features. We, therefore, investigated whether GEF would act as an hPXR antagonist when combined with a known hPXR agonist, rifampicin (RIF). At therapeutically relevant concentrations, GEF successfully inhibited the RIF-induced upregulation of endogenous CYP3A4 gene expression in human primary hepatocytes and human hepatocells. Additionally, GEF inhibited the RIF induction of hPXR-mediated CYP3A4 promoter activity in HepG2 human liver carcinoma cells. The computational modeling of molecular docking predicted that GEF could bind to multiple sites on hPXR including the ligand-binding pocket, allowing for potential as a direct antagonist as well as an allosteric inhibitor. Indeed, GEF bound to the ligand-binding domain of the hPXR in cell-free assays, suggesting that GEF directly interacts with the hPXR. Taken together, our results suggest that GEF, at its clinically relevant therapeutic concentration, can antagonize the hPXR agonist-induced CYP3A4 gene expression in human hepatocytes. Thus, GEF could be a potential candidate for use in combinational chemotherapies to combat hPXR agonist-induced chemoresistance. Further studies are warranted to determine whether GEF has sufficient hPXR inhibitor abilities to overcome the hPXR agonist-induced chemoresistance.

Background: Crystal violet dye is stable and difficult to be biodegraded owing to the existence of the multiple aromatic rings of the crystal violet molecules. Removing crystal violet dye from the wastewater is a major challenge. Objective: The aim of the research is to synthesize barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles and investigate the photocatalytic performance for the degradation of crystal violet. Methods: Barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles were synthesized via a facile hydrothermal route without any surfactants. The crystal structure, micro-morphology, size and optical performance of the barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles were investigated by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and solid ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectrum. Results : The size of the barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles is 20 nm to 200 nm with the band gap of 3.71 eV. The photocatalytic activity of the barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles was measured by the photocatalytic degradation of crystal violet. The crystal violet degradation efficiency reaches 92.1% with the ultraviolet-visible irradiation time of 8 h using 10 mg barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles. The crystal violet degradation ratio increases to 96.1% when the dosage of the barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles increases to 20 mg/10 mL crystal violet dye solution. Active species capture photocatalytic experiments showed that the holes, hydroxyl radicals and superoxide ion radicals are the main active species. Reusability experiments displayed that the barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles are stable for the crystal violet dye degradation. Conclusion: The barium carbonate/tin dioxide nanoparticles show good photocatalytic performance toward crystal violet under ultraviolet light irradiation.

The causal effects of moderate alcohol consumption on cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are continuously debated, especially on coronary artery disease (CAD).We aimed to explore the causal associations of alcohol consumption with CVDs and all-cause mortality among Chinese males.A prospective cohort study was conducted in 40,386 Chinese males, with 17,676 being genotyped for the rs671 variant in the aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) gene. A Cox proportional hazards model was conducted to estimate the effects of self-reported alcohol consumption. Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis was performed to explore the causality using rs671 as an instrumental variable.During the follow-up of 303,353 person-years, 2406 incident CVDs and 3195 all-cause mortalities were identified. J-shaped associations of self-reported alcohol consumption with incident CVD and all-cause mortality were observed, showing decreased risks for light (≤25 g/d) and moderate drinkers (25-≤60 g/d). However, MR analyses revealed a linear association of genetically predicted alcohol consumption with the incident CVD (P-trend = 0.02), including both CAD (P-trend = 0.03) and stroke (P-trend = 0.02). The HRs (95% CIs) for incident CVD across increasing tertiles of genetically predicted alcohol consumption were 1 (reference), 1.18 (1.01, 1.38), and 1.22 (1.03, 1.46). After excluding heavy drinkers, the risk of incident CVD and all-cause mortality was increased by 27% and 20% per standard drink increment of genetically predicted alcohol consumption, respectively.Our analyses extend the evidence of the harmful effect of alcohol consumption to total CVD (including CAD) and all-cause mortality, highlighting the potential health benefits of lowering alcohol consumption, even among light-to-moderate male drinkers.

Hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) have been considered as two critical processes in the field of electrocatalytic water-splitting for hydrogen production and fuel cells. However, the sluggish reaction kinetics of HER and ORR required efficient electrocatalyst such as Pt to promote such process. Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) exhibit great potential to replace noble metal electrocatalysts to accelerate HER and ORR due to their high activity and easy availability. Herein, a highly-efficient bifunctional CoP electrocatalyst for HER and ORR, featuring a unique core-shell structure decorated on nitrogen-doped carbon matrix was designed and constructed via etching a cobalt-based zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF-67) with phytic acid (PA) followed by pyrolysis treatment (PA-ZIF-67-900). Experimental results revealed that the pure-phase single-crystalline CoP exhibited outstanding electrocatalytic performance in HER and ORR, superior to Co(PO3)2 in PA-ZIF-67-700, hybrid phase of Co(PO3)2 and CoP in PA-ZIF-67-800 and Co2P-doped CoP in PA-ZIF-67-1000. To reach the current density of 10 mA/cm2 the as-synthesized CoP required an overpotential of 120 mV for HER in 1 M KOH and half-wave potential of 0.85 V in O2-saturated 0.1 mol/L KOH. Background: Gentian violet dye released from industries into the environment has caused serious water pollution and is a significant environmental pollutant to human beings owing to the toxicity. It is urgent to decrease environmental pollution by removing gentian violet in the wastewater. Objective: The aim is to synthesize hexahydroxy strontium stannate/tin dioxide nanocomposites by a simple hydrothermal method without surfactants and research the photocatalytic performance for gentian violet degradation. Methods: Hexahydroxy strontium stannate/tin dioxide nanocomposites have been obtained via the hydrothermal method. The structure, size, morphology and photocatalytic performance were characterized by X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, solid ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Results: The nanocomposites possess oven-shaped morphology with the size of less than 100 nm and are composed of hexagonal SrSn(OH)6 and tetragonal SnO2 phases. The band gap of the nanocomposites is 3.52 eV. 10 mg hexahydroxy strontium stannate/tin dioxide nanocomposites have the ability to completely degrade 10 mL gentian violet solution with the concentration of 10 mgL-1 under 6 h ultraviolet-visible light irradiation. Hydroxyl radical, hole and superoxide radical are the main species for the gentian violet photocatalytic degradation using the nanocomposites. Conclusion: The hexahydroxy strontium stannate/tin dioxide nanocomposites show good photocatalytic performance for the GV degradation. The photocatalytic performance for gentian violet degradation using the hexahydroxy strontium stannate/tin dioxide nanocomposites depends on the irradiation time and content of the nanocomposites.

Inspired by transformation optics, we propose a new concept for plasmonic photocatalysis by creating a novel hybrid nanostructure with a plasmonic singularity. Our geometry enables broad and strong spectral light harvesting at the active site of a nearby semiconductor where the chemical reaction occurs. A proof-of-concept nanostructure comprising Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) and Au-Au dimer (t-CZTS@Au-Au) is fabricated via a colloidal strategy combining templating and seeded growth. On the basis of numerical and experimental results of different related hybrid nanostructures, we show that both the sharpness of the singular feature and the relative position to the reactive site play a pivotal role in optimizing photocatalytic activity. Compared with bare CZTS, the hybrid nanostructure (t-CZTS@Au-Au) exhibits an enhancement of the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate by up to ∼9 times. The insights gained from this work might be beneficial for designing efficient composite plasmonic photocatalysts for diverse photocatalytic reactions.

The toxic effects of chemotherapy drugs on normal tissues are still a major limiting factor in cancer treatment. In this paper, we report a metal-organic framework (Zn-Co ZIF) with chitosan-coated outer layer as a carrier for the drug adriamycin hydrochloride (DOX), a treatment for liver cancer, as a novel anti-cancer nanodrug-enhanced carrier. Gold nanoparticles, a good photothermal conversion agent, were combined with the target SH-RGD during surface functionalisation to prepare Zn-Co ZIF@DOX-CS-Au-RGD (ZD-CAR), a nanoplatform with good photothermal conversion properties and targeting for combined liver cancer therapy. ZD-CAR was developed after RGD accurately targeted the tumour and entered the tumour microenvironment (TME), it cleaves and releases the liver cancer therapeutic agent (DOX) in a weak acidic environment to effectively kill tumour cells. The metal skeleton cleavage releases Co2+, which catalyzes the production of oxygen from H2O2 to alleviate the tumour hypoxic environment. The dissolved oxygen could reach 14 mg/L after adding 80 mg/mL of ZD-CAR. Meanwhile, gold nanoparticles could convert light energy into heat energy under 808 NIR irradiation to induce local superheating and kill tumour cells. In summary, this study developed a nanoplatform that combines chemo-photothermal-targeted therapy. It has shown good therapeutic effeciency in cellular experiments and performance tests and has promising applications in anti-cancer therapy.

Aims LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) is a well-established risk factor for coronary artery disease (CAD). However, the optimal LDL-C level with regard to efficacy and safety remains unclear. We aimed to investigate the causal relationships between LDL-C and efficacy and safety outcomes. Methods and results We analyzed 353 232 British from the UK Biobank and 41 271 Chinese from the China-PAR project. Linear and non-linear Mendelian randomization (MR) analyses were performed to evaluate the causal relation between genetically proxied LDL-C and CAD, all-cause mortality, and safety outcomes (including haemorrhagic stroke, diabetes mellitus, overall cancer, non-cardiovascular death, and dementia). No significant non-linear associations were observed for CAD, all-cause mortality, and safety outcomes (Cochran Q P > 0.25 in British and Chinese) with LDL-C levels above the minimum values of 50 and 20 mg/dL in British and Chinese, respectively. Linear MR analyses demonstrated a positive association of LDL-C with CAD [British: odds ratio (OR) per unit mmol/L increase, 1.75, P = 7.57 × 10−52; Chinese: OR, 2.06, P = 9.10 × 10−3]. Furthermore, stratified analyses restricted to individuals with LDL-C levels less than the guideline-recommended 70 mg/dL demonstrated lower LDL-C levels were associated with a higher risk of adverse events, including haemorrhagic stroke (British: OR, 0.72, P = 0.03) and dementia (British: OR, 0.75, P = 0.03). Conclusion In British and Chinese populations, we confirmed a linear dose–response relationship of LDL-C with CAD and found potential safety concerns at low LDL-C levels, providing recommendations for monitoring adverse events in people with low LDL-C in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.

Dysphagia, the swallowing disorder, is a common disease among the elders and stroke patients. Therefore, based on the bionic swallowing device (BSD) in vitro of similar human-tongue motion during swallowing, the development of functional food is necessary to improve the food swallowing quality of the deglutition disorders patients. In this study, the tongue motion was thoroughly investigated by extracting the characteristic data, and appropriate mechanisms in vitro were adopted to replicate the motion of the tongue swallowing according to the normal swallowing oropharyngeal data. The application of the BSD was also investigated at different swallowing grades (SGs). The study results indicated that the tongue motion consisted of tongue root point (TRP) and several tongue motor points (TMPs). The cam-link and push-rod mechanisms showed ellipse lines for TRP motion and straight lines for TMPs, respectively. Higher correlation coefficients between the tongue trajectories in the oropharyngeal data and simulated curves of the combined mechanism were observed. The average correlation coefficients between the tongue trajectories of patients at five SGs and those of the BSD were 0.87, proving its effectiveness and potential application. Furthermore, the corn-paste experiments of the BSD showed that dysphagia at five SGs could be a suitable choice for certain food concentrations. This will provide valuable insight into developing more functional foods in vitro for high deglutition disorders.
