A 43-year-old female patient was admitted with recurrent thrombosis for more than 2 years and thrombocytopenia for more than 1 year. Both arterial and venous thromboses developed especially at rare sites even during anticoagulation therapy such as cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. Antinuclear antibody, anti-ENA antibody and antiphospholipid antibody were all negative. Platelet count elevated to normal after high dose glucocorticoid and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG). Immune thrombocytopenia was suspected. When 4 grade thrombocytopenia recurred, intravenous heparin, rituximab 600 mg, IVIG and eltrombopag were administrated. After 3 weeks, thrombocytopenia did not improve, and new thrombosis developed instead. Screening of thrombophilia related genes revealed PROS1 gene heterozygous mutation and MTHFR TT genotype. Low amount of serum IgG κ monoclonal protein was detected. Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia was differentiated and excluded. Finally, serum negative antiphospholipid syndrome was considered the most likely diagnosis. Dexamethasone 20 mg/day × 4 days combined with sirolimus 2 mg/day was prescribed. The patient was discharged with low molecular weight heparin. At one month, her headache was greatly relieved. The platelet count raised to 20-30×10患者女性，43岁。因反复血栓形成2年余，血小板（PLT）减低1年余就诊。患者临床表现为反复动静脉血栓形成、少见部位血栓及抗凝治疗中新发血栓，伴有进行性加重的血小板减少。外院及我院多次筛查抗核抗体、抗可溶性抗原抗体、抗磷脂抗体谱均为阴性。病程中糖皮质激素冲击及静脉免疫球蛋白（IVIG）曾使血小板升至正常，骨髓巨核细胞成熟障碍，支持免疫性血小板减低。入院后筛查易栓症的病因，同时予肝素静脉泵入抗凝，利妥昔单抗600 mg 1次；IVIG 20 g/d×3 d；口服艾曲波帕50 mg/d治疗。以上治疗3周后，血小板减少无明显改善，期间仍有新发血栓。后易栓症基因筛查回报PROS1基因杂合突变，MTHFR基因型为TT型，发现少量IgGκ型M蛋白，但仍不足以解释如此顽固的血栓倾向。在排除肿瘤、肝素诱导的血小板减少症等之后最终诊断血清阴性抗磷脂综合征可能性大。后续加用地塞米松20 mg/d×4 d，联合口服西罗莫司2 mg/d加强免疫抑制，抗凝方案过渡为低分子肝素后出院。1个月后电话随访，患者颅内静脉窦血栓所致的头痛症状好转，PLT升至（20~30）×10

We report the synthesis of oriented single crystalline Mn doped ZnO nanowires through a hydrothermal method. Structural characterizations using X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy revealed that the Mn was doped into the lattice structure, forming solid solution. The Mn doped ZnO nanowires possess wurtzite structure with a c-axis growth orientation. The physical properties of the nanowires were investigated. Mn doped ZnO nanowires were found to be ferromagnetic with Curie temperature of about 30 K. A deep level emission band at about 566 nm was observed at room temperature.

A metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) structure containing an HfO2/SiO2 stack tunnel layer, isolated Germanium (Ge) nanocrystals, and an HfO2 capping layer, was obtained by an electron-beam evaporation method. A high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) study revealed that uniform and pronounced Ge nanocrystals had formed after annealing. Raman spectroscopy provided evidence for the formation of Ge–Ge bonds and the optimal annealing temperature for the crystallization ratio of the Ge. The electric properties of the MIS structure were characterized by capacitance-voltage (C-V) and current–voltage (I–V) measurements at room temperature. Negative photoconductivity was observed when the structure was under a forward bias, which screened the bias voltage, resulting in a decrease in the current at a given voltage and a negative shift in flat band voltage. A relatively high stored charge density of 3.27 × 1012 cm−2 was also achieved.

A novel solvent polymeric membrane electrode based on bis(1,3,4-thiadiazole) complexes of Hg(II) is described which has excellent selectivity and sensitivity toward iodide ion. The electrode, containing 1,4-bis(5-methyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-yl-thio)butanemercury(II) [Hg(II)BMTB(NO3)4], has a Nernstian potentiometric response from 2.0 x 10(-8) to 2.0 x 10(-2) mol L(-1) with a detection limit of 8.0 x 10(-9) mol L(-1) and a slope of -59.0+/-0.5 mV/decade in 0.01 mol L(-1) phosphate buffer solution (pH 3.0, 20 degrees C). The selectivity sequence observed is iodidebromidethiocyanatenitritenitratechlorideperchlorateacetatesulfate. The selectivity behavior is discussed in terms of the UV-Vis spectrum, and the process of transfer of iodide across the membrane interface is investigated by use of the AC impedance technique. The electrode was successfully applied to the determination of iodide in Jialing River and Spring in Jinyun Mountains, with satisfactory results.

Superconducting Pb nanowire arrays with diameters of about 45 nm have been fabricated by electrodeposition using anodic porous alumina templates. The Pb nanowires were of crystalline face-centre cubic structure and structurally uniform. The temperature dependence of their magnetic behaviour was investigated. The Pb nanowire arrays exhibit anisotropy, and the Meissner effect of the nanowires is entirely different from that of the bulk Pb; irreversible type II superconductor behaviour has been observed in the Pb nanowires at 5 K.

For the epoxy encapsulant cured by diethanolamine, optimal epoxy/hardener stoichiometry could hardly be predicted due to the complex curing mechanisms. In this paper, the influences of stoichiometry were investigated by FTIR, DMA and tensile testing. The results showed that stoichiometry has a dominating effect on both Tg and tensile properties of the cured epoxy. The largest Tg , highest crosslink density as well as excellent ductility appeared in epoxy encapsulant cured with 14 wt% diethanolmine. When the content of diethanolamine was lower than 14 wt%, epoxy encapsulants showed smaller glycidyl conversion even with long-duration post-cure. Larger tensile strength and modulus were also observed in the glycidyl-rich epoxies, which could be explained by anti-plasticization effect. The amine-rich epoxy, however, had extremely high glycidyl conversion and presented brittle tensile behavior. A diethanolamine content of 12-14 wt% for the epoxy encapsulant is suggested to obtain optimal thermal and tensile properties.

The effect of dose of hydrogen and helium sequential implantation in Germanium was investigated. The energy of H and He ions was 30keV, and 50keV, respectively. The dose of H was varied from 1E16, 3E16 to 5E16/cm², and the dose of He was kept at 1E16/cm². Atom force microscope was used to detect surface morphology and X-ray diffraction to show the strain evolution of the samples after annealing. We find it is hard for blistering for a fluence of 1E16/cm² as well as 5E16/cm². Further more, the strain relief is hampered in those two samples. We believe that the retarded attenuation of strain is due to the larger defect clusters especially those with high vacancy/hydrogen ratio formed during successive He implantation. As a result, for 1E16/cm², there is not adequate "free" H for the buildup of internal pressure of platelets, while for 5E16/cm², the implantation induced damage is quite severe and it may cause a partially amorphous zone.

beta-Elemene and its derivatives were hopeful new antitumor drugs. A method for determination of elemenyl piperidine salt in water has been developed with capillary gas chromatography. The samples were neutralized by sodium carbonate and extracted by n-heptane. n-Octadecane was used as the internal standard. The linear range was from 10 g/L to 100 g/L, with a correlation coefficient of 0.9998. The average recovery of the method was 99.96% and the RSD was 0.46% (n = 5). The coefficient of variation was less than 2%. The method is simple, rapid, accurate and can be applied to the determination of the nitrogen-containing compounds of beta-elemene.

Growth of the initial disturbances in pulsating pipe flows was examined in this study from the point of view of Rayleigh instability. Experimental results obtained show that the instability is initiated in the developing region during the deceleration phase when an inflection point is obviously present in the velocity profile. Moreover, the results obtained are able to unveil the process regarding the disturbances get amplified and re-laminarized with respect to the phase angle and the radial location.
