A simple prediction of the well-known unification model of active galactic nuclei is that a sample of sources should exhibit an anti-correlation between the solid angle of the dusty torus and of the ionization cone (as the sum of them shall equal 4$\pi$), which however has never been detected. In this work, we analyze the correlation between [OIII] 5007 narrow emission line equivalent width and $L_{\rm IR}(\lambda)/L_{\rm bol}$ for a large sample of luminous quasars. For the first time, we detect a clear intrinsic anti-correlation between them, which immediately verifies the torus/ionization-cone geometry in luminous quasars. More interestingly, the anti-correlation significantly weakens with increasing wavelength from $\sim$ 2 to 12 $\mu$m, and disappears at $\sim$ 12 $\mu$m. Simulations show a cool dust component (in addition to equatorial torus) with its strength positively correlating with the solid angle of the ionization cone is required to explain the observations. This shows that the polar dust seen in nearby active galaxies also exists in luminous quasars, with its contribution to total dust emission increasing with $\lambda$ (from $\sim$ 2 to 12 $\mu$m) and reaching between 39%-62% (model dependent) at rest frame 12 $\mu$m. Regulating the morphology and composition of Fe-containing phases can significantly improve the mechanical properties of Al–Mg–Si alloys. Here, we successfully prepared the high-performance AA6061 alloys by the route of sub-rapid solidification (SRS) based on twin-roll casting (TRC). Excellent tensile strength (∼372 MPa) and elongation (∼19%) were achieved in the peak-aged TRC sample, which increased simultaneously compared with the counterpart (∼351 MPa and ∼14%) fabricated via ingot casting (IC). It was found that the strength-ductility synergy of the TRC sample was caused by the high cooling rate, wherein the SRS can refine the microstructure significantly and promote the reaction from the AlFeSi to the AlFeMgSi (Mg:Fe:Si = 1:1.5:2.5) phase. The centerline segregation in the TRC strip could be well mitigated during solution treatment because the reduced size and Mg-incorporation accelerated the redissolution of AlFeMgSi phases. The alleviative segregation greatly promoted supersaturated solution, and thus contributing to the synergy of strength and ductility. Meanwhile, the Si-rich AlFeMgSi phase could decompose into the Fe-rich α-AlFeSi (Fe:Si > 1) during solution treatment, which expanded the solid solubility of Si and Mg. Therefore, an enhanced aging hardening response was obtained in the peak-aged TRC sample, showing the high number density and volume fraction of β” phase. The results would provide guidelines for developing high-performance Al–Mg–Si alloys based on the SRS during TRC.

This study was designed to estimate the associations between self-efficacy and professional identity. A total of 1,051 freshmen nursing students (FNSs) from the Be Resilient to Nursing Career (BRNC) program were recruited from four universities between September and November 2020. A latent profile and moderated meditation analysis were performed. Four profiles of self-efficacy were identified and named as Lowest (15.6%), Med-low (45.0%), Med-high (32.7%), and Highest (6.7%). The mediating role of resilience and the moderating effect of role models were also identified. Therefore, self-efficacy, resilience, and role models may be three important factors to professional identity in FNSs and these relationships should be further validated in longitudinal or interventional studies.

They were administered with Academic Burnout Scale, 10-item Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10), Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-10) and NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI). Latent profile analysis and moderated mediation analysis were performed.Results: Three personalities were identified and named as resilient (13.4%), over-controlled (50.2%) and under-controlled (36.4%). Resilience significantly mediated the relationship between psychological distress and academic burnout while personality significantly moderated the relationship between psychological distress and resilience.Conclusion: Resilience and personality may be two important mediators between psychological distress and academic burnout. More attentions should be paid to students with under-controlled personality and resilience-enhancing interventions could be developed to prevent or alleviate academic burnout in future research.Keywords: psychological distress, academic burnout, resilience, personality, mediation, moderation

Achieving appreciable strain-aging hardening coupling with fine-grain strengthening remains a critical challenge in dilute Mg alloys, as high-temperature solid-solution, utilized to impart high-level solutes for strain-aging, inevitably causes grain coarsening and great strength loss. Herein, we report a rapid dislocation-mediated solute repartitioning behavior upon aging in a low-temperature annealed Mg���1.0Zn���0.45Ca���0.33Sn���0.2Mn (wt.%) alloy. Thereby, appreciable strain-aging hardening (YS increment of ���30 MPa) coupling with fine-grain (grain size of ���2.5 ��m) strengthening accounts for a high yield strength (���297 MPa) and ductility (���20%). It suggests a feasible avenue to develop strong dilute Mg alloys by combining strain-aging hardening and fine-grain strengthening. By manipulating solute distribution while keeping a fine-grain structure, appreciable strain-aging hardening response coupling with fine-grain strengthening guarantees the development of strong dilute Mg alloy.

The field of circular non-coding RNAs have been gradually attracted wide attention with the developments of high-throughput sequencing. In this review, we systematically summarize three driving models for circRNAs biogenesis: intron-pairing-driven, RNA binding protein-driven and lariat-driven. In addition, we also briefly introduce the current research methods of circRNAs, which include high-throughput library construction methods, identification through bioinformatics and common experimental verification. Here, we also systematically summarize the functions of circRNAs, including microRNA (miRNA) or protein sponges, regulating the alternative splicing (AS) and expression of host genes, and extensive translation. Finally, we provide a systematic characterization and the latest research progress of circRNAs, which provide a new perspective for further studies of circRNAs in plants.

To assess the safety and efficacy of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) for depression in late pregnancy and impacts on inflammatory cytokines.A total of 150 pregnant women with depression in late pregnancy were randomized into a high intensity group (The blood pressure, pulse and fetal heart rate had no statistical significance before and after treatment in the three groups (TEAS is safe and effective for depression in late pregnancy and can regulate the serum levels of IL-1 β and IL-6 without influencing on delivery outcome.

Microalgae’s aquatic, non-edible, highly genetically modifiable nature and fast growth rate are considered ideal for biomass conversion to liquid fuels providing promise for future shortages in fossil fuels and for reducing greenhouse gas and pollutant emissions from combustion. We demonstrate adaptability of PRO/II software by simulating a microalgae photo-bio-reactor and thermolysis with fixed conversion isothermal reactors adding a heat exchanger for thermolysis. We model a cooling tower and gas floatation with zero-duty flash drums adding solids removal for floatation. Properties data are from PRO/II’s thermodynamic data manager. Hydrotreating is analyzed within PRO/II’s case study option, made subject to Jet B fuel constraints, and we determine an optimal 6.8% bioleum bypass ratio, 230 °C hydrotreater temperature, and 20:1 bottoms to overhead distillation ratio. Process economic feasibility occurs if cheap CO2, H2O and nutrient resources are available, along with solar energy and energy from byproduct combustion, and hydrotreater H2 from product reforming.
