In Bangladesh 37% of pregnant women are taking four step of ANC treatment. The main purpose of this study was to identify the factor associated with ANC checkup. A hospital based cross sectional study at Mohammadpur Fertility Services and Training Center (MFSTC), Mohammadpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This cross sectional study was conveyed 100 pregnant women who visited the Mohammadpur Fertility Services and Training Center for taking antenatal checkup. Total 100 pregnant women’s data was collected in which 12%, 2nd trimester and 88% , 3rd trimester of pregnancy. According to the amount 3rd trimester of pregnant women came this hospital for antenatal checkup. Demographic data and information on age height, weight, religion, educational qualification, birth control method, health problem, blood donor, physical test, tetanus vaccine, family income level, and economical effect were collected from the patient by using a questionnaire. A good number of the pregnant women normally eaten balanced food. Some of the patients maintain the proper antenatal instruction and take more seasonal fruits and vegetable, egg, milk, fish to satisfy their nutrients for maternal health care period

An experiment was carried out at Nabagram Farm house, Mannannagar, Noakhali, Bangladesh during the period from September 2018 to January 2019 to screen out of different cabbage varieties in coastal area of Bangladesh. The experiment was laid out Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. Three varieties viz., V1= Atlas-70, V2=Summer warrior and one is red cabbage, V3= Ruby king were selected for screening out. Data were collected on seedlings height at transplanting stage, plant height, number of leaves/seedlings, number of leaves/plant, leaf length and diameter, days to head formation, days to head harvesting, head diameter, average weight of head, yield/plot and yield (ton/ha). Maximum parameters were significantly differed among the varieties except seedlings height, leaf length and leaf diameter. Highest seedlings height (13.15 cm) were found from V2 (Summer warrior) whereas highest plant height (30.51 cm) notified from V3 (Ruby king).Summer warrior (V2) gave maximum number of leaves/seedlings (4.8), leaves/plant (15.97), leaf diameter (19.67 cm), early head formation (46.10 days), head diameter (21.29 cm) average weight of head (1.14 kg), yield/plot (28.97 kg) and yield/ha (54.63 ton). On the other hand highest leaf length (21.41 cm) were recorded from V3 (Ruby king) and minimum head harvesting days as well as duration were recorded from Atlas-70 (V1). Lowest seedlings height (10.98 cm) was found from V3 (Ruby king) as well as lowest plant height (24.57 cm) obtained from Atlas-70 (V1). Lowest number of leaves/seedlings (2.67), number of loose leaves/plant (13.74), average head weight (0.64 kg), yield/plot (15.93 kg) and yield/ha (30.67 ton) as well as highest days required to head formation (56.78 days) and harvesting (141.38 days ) were noted from V3 (Ruby king) Considering the results it can be concluded that Summer warrior cabbage variety was found to be statistically superior to the rest of the varieties in terms of maximum growth and yield contributing characters

Analysis of child mortality is crucial as it pertains to the policy and programs of a country. The early assessment of patterns and trends in causes of child mortality help decision-makers assess needs, prioritize interventions, and monitor progress. Post-birth factors of the child, such as real-time clinical data, health data of the child, etc. are frequently used in child mortality studies. However, in the early assessment of child mortality, pre-birth factors would be more practical and beneficial than the post-birth factors. This study aims at incorporating pre-birth factors, such as birth history, maternal history, reproduction history, socioeconomic condition, etc. for classifying child mortality. To assess the relative importance of the features, Information Gain (IG) attribute evaluator is employed. For classifying child mortality, four machine learning algorithms are evaluated. Results show that the proposed approach achieved an AUC score of 0.947 in classifying child mortality which outperformed the clinical standards. In terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-1 score, the results are also notable and uniform. In developing countries like Bangladesh, the early assessment of child mortality using pre-birth factors would be effective and feasible as it avoids the uncertainty of the post-birth factors., Comment: 21 pages, 2 tables

A cross-sectional study was conducted to determine nutritional status of pregnant women in different areas of Bangladesh by anthropometric and biochemical assessment. Measurement of body weight gain in different stages of pregnancy period was calculated as 20% and 14% severely malnourished, 54% and 30% moderately malnourished, 21% and 43% well nourished and 5% and 13% over malnourished ; hemoglobin (Hb) level was 16% and 19% severely anemic, 38% and 54% moderately anemic, 24% and 42% mildly anemic and 6% and 11% non-anemic; educational levels were 8% and 15% illiterate, 17% and 44% primary, 29% and 25% secondary, 10% and 39% under graduate and 2% and 11% post graduation of rural and urban pregnant women respectively. Monthly expenditure ≤ Tk.3000 to Tk.4000 food for rural and urban pregnant women were found and considered as important causes for nutritional status during pregnancy period. Beside these, early marriage, frequent birth, illiteracy, poverty, misconceptions, and lack of nutritional knowledge were follow up in this study period. The outcome showed that urban pregnant women were well nourished than rural pregnant women comparatively and also obesity was encountered as an indicator in urban pregnant women than rural.

Authoritarian Families possess characteristics similar to those of the Authoritarian Personality. They are power oriented, tend to have dichotomous conceptions, have emotional and intellectual rigidity and submit easily to authoritarian forces. The adolescents in such families are deprived of their basic needs for stability, flexibility and guidance. Consequently they feel frustrated and angry. Their anger manifests itself in various forms. A large percentage of these adolescents adopt their parents' attitudes and develop similar authoritarian personality characteristics. The second group are those who experience considerable conflict and tend to become aggressive and hostile in their interpersonal relationships. Still, there are adolescents who become withdrawn, depressed and apathetic and display great difficulty in dealing effectively with the ordinary demands of their lives. These adolescents and their families are difficult to treat. Several case histories are provided and brief outlines of a treatment approach are given.
