Background Are thermoregulation and golden hour practices in extremely preterm (EP) infants comparable across the world? This study aims to describe these practices for EP infants based on the neonatal intensive care unit’s (NICUs) geographic region, country’s income status and the lowest gestational age (GA) of infants resuscitated. Methods The Director of each NICU was requested to complete the e-questionnaire between February 2019 and August 2021. Results We received 848 responses, from all geographic regions and resource settings. Variations in most thermoregulation and golden hour practices were observed. Using a polyethylene plastic wrap, commencing humidity within 60 min of admission, and having local protocols were the most consistent practices (>75%). The odds for the following practices differed in NICUs resuscitating infants from 22 to 23 weeks GA compared to those resuscitating from 24 to 25 weeks: respiratory support during resuscitation and transport, use of polyethylene plastic wrap and servo-control mode, commencing ambient humidity >80% and presence of local protocols. Conclusion Evidence-based practices on thermoregulation and golden hour stabilisation differed based on the unit’s region, country’s income status and the lowest GA of infants resuscitated. Future efforts should address reducing variation in practice and aligning practices with international guidelines. Impact A wide variation in thermoregulation and golden hour practices exists depending on the income status, geographic region and lowest gestation age of infants resuscitated. Using a polyethylene plastic wrap, commencing humidity within 60 min of admission and having local protocols were the most consistent practices. This study provides a comprehensive description of thermoregulation and golden hour practices to allow a global comparison in the delivery of best evidence-based practice. The findings of this survey highlight a need for reducing variation in practice and aligning practices with international guidelines for a comparable health care delivery.

Background Most hospitalized preterm infants experience difficulties in transitioning from tube feeding to full oral feeding. Interventions to promote full oral feeding in preterm infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) are limited to pacifier use or bottle-feeding exercises. Skin contact has been shown to be beneficial to start and maintain lactation and provide preterm infants with the opportunity to suck on the mother’s breast, which may promote further development of the preterm infant’s suckling patterns. The objective of this study is to compare and evaluate the effects of skin contact combined with breastfeeding (suck on the mother’s empty breast) as compared to the routine pacifier suckling training model in achieving full oral feeding for infants whose gestational age are ≤ 30 weeks. Methods This is a single-center, randomized controlled clinical trial conducted in the NICU and designed according to the SPIRIT Statement. The subjects included in the study are premature infants born between April 2020 and July 2021 with a gestational age of ≤30 weeks, birth weight of 40 and those born to mothers with poor verbal communication skills will be excluded. A sample of 148 infants is needed. The infants will be randomized to the intervention (skin contact combined with mother’s breastfeeding model) or control group (routine pacifier sucking training model). The primary outcome is the time required to achieve full oral feeding. The secondary outcomes are the breastfeeding abilities of preterm infants as assessed by the Preterm Infant Breastfeeding Behavior Scale (PIBBS), breastfeeding rates at 3 and 6 months corrected gestational age, complication rates, duration of oxygen requirement, days of hospital stay, and satisfaction of parents. Discussion This paper describes the first single-center, open-label, randomized clinical trial on this topic and will provide crucial information to support the implementation of skin contact combined with the breastfeeding model in the NICU setting. In the new round of China's electricity reform, the construction of electricity spot market will be fully implemented. However, the electricity market of some provinces is dominated by cascade hydropower, resulting in significant differences with those electricity markets in the United States and Europe. A provincial electricity spot market mechanism dominated by hydropower is designed accordingly. Firstly, based on the major market models abroad, the similarities and differences of Brazil and Norway hydropower dominated market models are analyzed in terms of electricity market reform, market trading mechanism and trans-regional resource allocation. Secondly, we analyzed the benefits brought by centralized market model to the operation safety, hydropower allocation optimization and connection with the current scheduling system. Moreover, it points out that the future electricity market should follow the model of “centralized spot market + medium and long-term difference contract”. The development of China's electricity spot market featuring a high proportion of hydropower is predicted according to three stages. Finally, the key technical requirements faced by future hydropower dominated electricity market construction are summarized.

There is a growing demand for trans-regional transmission of clean energy such as wind power and photovoltaic power through ultra-high voltage direct current (UHVDC) system. To solve the problem of difficulty in transmission of new energy through UHVDC due to random fluctuations, this paper puts forward a transmission scheme of using the supporting thermal power to smooth power fluctuation of new energy and realize bundled transmission, establishes an integrated tie-line scheduling model of wind power, photovoltaic power and thermal power transmission through UHVDC system, and introduces the conditional value-at-risk (CVaR) theory according to the concept of new energy transmission risk to quantify the new energy transmission risk, for analyzing the new energy transmission capacity of tie-line scheduling under different confidence levels and risks. The model is applied to a practical calculation example, and the calculation result shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.

An experimental program including study has been conducted to investigate buckling behavior of 7A04 high-strength (HS) aluminum alloy columns under axial compression, in which 42 L-shaped extruded specimens were designed and tested. The specimens involved two sections and seven slenderness ratios varying from 15 to 100. The test results were compared with design results in accordance with American Aluminum Design Manual, GB 50429-2007 and Eurocode 9. A finite element (FE) model of the tested specimens under axial compression has been developed by using general finite element software ANSYS, and was verified by using the test results reported herein and other experimental results presented in the literature. By using this FE model, an extensive body of parametric analyses were conducted to clarify the effects of width-to-thickness ratio of angle legs, initial imperfections and material strengths on the buckling resistance of the 7A04 angle columns. Based on the test and FE analyses results, a modified design method was proposed for predicting the buckling resistance of 7A04 high-strength aluminum alloy columns more accurately.

TiO2 nanotubes supported amorphous Co-B(Co-B/TNTs) catalyst was prepared via impregnationchemical reduction procedure. The catalyst was characterized with transmission electron microscopy(TEM), ammonia temperature-programmed desorption(NH3-TPD), thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis(TG-DTA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and Raman spectroscopy. The effects of temperature and ratio of CO to H2 on the hydroformylation of 1-octene were studied. At an optimized reaction temperature(150 °C) and volume ratio of CO to H2(2:1), the conversion of 1-octene can reach 97.4% with a selectivity of 23.1% for total aldehydes and n/i-aldehyde molar ratio of 40:60. To obtain higher selectivity for linear aldehydes, Co-B/TNTs modified with triphenylphosphine for the hydroformylation of 1-octene were investigated. When molar ratio of P/Co was 4, the yield of total aldehydes was the highest(31.6%) with a good selectivity for linear product(n/i-aldehyde molar ratio was 70:30). In recycle use, the Co-B/TNTs catalyst modified with triphenylphosphine could be reused five times without reducing the activity and selectivity obviously. For a comparative study, all the Co-B/TNTs to catalyze the hydroformylation of other olefins exhibited high conversion under the optimized conditions.

Dispatching cloud based on the concept of cloud computing provides an efficient and feasible technology solution, which in order to ensure security, stability, economic and environmental operation in the future integrated bulk grid. This paper analyzed application services mode in detail for on-line analysis in dispatching cloud, designed a multi-level cooperative on-line computing architecture, and studied the encapsulation of computing service modules. The main topic focuses on the key technologies to realize multi-level cooperative on-line computation, which include computing tasks allocation mapping mechanism, decomposition-coordination computing service bus, computing service driven engine and data interaction service mechanism, etc. Finally, the computing service diagram is developed to achieve on-line analysis service and state estimation service instance is applied to respond user's calculation request. It is a useful exploration and provides reference with a scene of carrying out collaborative operation between data cloud, model cloud and computing cloud in an efficient way.

To investigate the reproductive endocrine changes after inhba overexpression into rat ovary.Thirty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned to three groups. Inhba overexpression lentivirus vectors (LV-eGFP-inhba) were microinjected into rat ovary (INH group); Control animals received the same amount lentivirus vector empty (CON group) or LV-eGFP (GFP group). Antral follicle amount and diameter were counted and serum level of activin A, E2, P, FSH, and LH and the expression of ER-α, ER-β, PR, FSHR, and LHR were measured.There was no significant difference among three groups in antral follicle amount; antral follicle diameter was increased in INH group rats compared with the other group rats. Serum levels of activin A, E2, P, and FSH were increased and LH was decreased in INH group rats compared with the other group rats. The mRNA and protein expression of ER-α, ER-β, FSHR was higher in INH group rats than that in the other group rats. There was no significant difference in mRNA and protein expression of PR among the three group rats, LHR expression was decreased in INH group rats compared with the other two group rats.inhba overexpression in rat ovary in vivo may change reproductive endocrine function.

This research discusses the medium and long term load forecasting techniques that are an essential basis for planning of such a distribution network taking into account the high penetration of DGs into network. The net load demand of HV/MV network has become more complicated, load forecasting encounters greater challenges than ever. Volatility and intermittency of DG sources such as wind and solar power greatly influences the load characteristics. A modern medium and long term load forecasting method for distribution network with DGs is investigated in this paper, which concerns time-varying characteristic of DG output power. The conventional spatial load forecasting results are collected, then the yearly time-varying curves of DG output using Monte Carlo simulation and the superposing time-varying curves of conventional load as well as DGs. From these the net-load forecasting result for distribution network is got, which is more accurate than ever.

Via photoreductive deposition process, platinum-modified TiO 2 photocatalysts (Pt/TiO 2 ) with various Pt contents are prepared by using H 2 PtCl 6 and hydrogen titanate nanotubes as precursors. The structures and photocatalytic performances of Pt/TiO 2 obtained are characterized. The experimental results indicate that platinum has obvious influence on the structure and photocatalytic performances of the hydrogen titanate nanotubes. The tubular structures of some nanotubes are destroyed during the photoreductive deposition process. It is possible that the hydrogen coming from splitting water over formed Pt/TiO 2 results in the breach of nanotubes. The existence of platinum can enhance the photocatalytic performance of titanate nanotubes, and the photocatalytic activity arrives at the highest when the Pt content is 1.5 wt.%. In the era of big data, the Privacy Preserving Data Mining (PPDM) technology is increasingly important. The aim is to dig out the hidden, previously unknown and potentially useful knowledge or pattern under the premise of protecting sensitive data. In this paper, we summarize the existing PPDM technology as well as its advantages and disadvantages. We combine distributed randomization with the K-anonymity algorithm to reduce the information loss rate in order to increase the data availability and avoid the leakage of privacy data information. This method is applied to clinical data of diabetic nephropathy(DN). The result has proved that the potential relationship between some certain factors and diabetic nephropathy syndromes has no obvious damage compared with the result which is got on the basis of the unprotected status.

Based on the Monte Carlo method, an improved risk assessment method for hybrid AC/DC power system with VSC station considering the operation status of generators, converter stations, AC lines and DC lines is proposed. According to the sequential AC/DC power flow algorithm, node voltage and line active power are solved, and then the operation risk indices of node voltage over-limit and line active power over-limit are calculated. Finally, an improved two-area IEEE RTS-96 system is taken as a case to analyze and assessment its operation risk. The results show that the proposed model and method can intuitively and directly reflect the weak nodes and weak lines of the system, which can provide some reference for the dispatching department.

Purpose: Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a chronic disease characterized by autoimmunity. Th17 cells are a distinct subset from Th1 and Th2 cells and play crucial regulatory functions in inflammatory and autoimmune processes. The current study was designed to investigate the possible involvement of Th17 cells in DCM. Methods: Th17 cells were detected in blood from DCM subjects and healthy blood donors using several methods including Th17 frequencies by flow cytometric analysis, cytokine (IL-17, IL-6 and IL-23) secretion by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and key transcription factor (ROR?t) by real time-PCR. Results: Patients with DCM demonstrated increased peripheral Th17 cells (2.2±1.2% vs 0.4±0.3%,P < 0.01), Th17 related cytokines (IL-17: 62.7±22.8 vs 15.6±8.6pg/ml, IL-6: 40.7±16.6 vs 10.9±5.3pg/ml, IL-23: 210.7±89.9 vs 90.6±38.8pg/ml, P < 0.01) and ROR?t (24.6±6.5 vs 3.2±1.1,P < 0.01) compared with healthy blood donors (HBD). Furthermore, there was a consistent differential sex-defined cytokine profile. Males showed higher frequencies of IL-17, IL-6 and IL-23 than females (IL-17: 70.7±20.7 vs 54.7±22.2pg/ml, P < 0.01; IL-6: 46.0±18.2 vs 35.4±13.0pg/ml, P < 0.05; IL-23: 238.1±106.2 vs 183.4±60.2pg/ml, P < 0.05) in patients with DCM . Conclusion: Th17 function is increased in patients with DCM, suggesting a role for Th17 cells in the pathogenesis of DCM.
