Purpose Systematic review of Gemella haemolysans infection associated with ophthalmology, and to summarize the clinical characteristics of Gemellahaemolysans keratitis after refractive surgery. Methods Case report and literature review. Results We report an 18-year-old man who developed corneal infection after Trans-PRK, and the culture results of lesion specimens confirmed G. haemolysans keratitis. He was treated with fortified topical antibiotics, and clinical improvement was noted shortly after treatment. Resolution of keratitis was achieved at 1 month. Then, a systematic review of the reported cases of ocular G. haemolysans infection was conducted. We summarized clinical manifestations of G. haemolysans infection in cornea. Conclusion We reported a case of G. haemolysans keratitis infection after refractive surgery, and reviewed the literature of ocular G. haemolysans infection.

The research status and hotspots in the field of corneal cross linking (CXL) can benefit clinicians, researchers and the general public. The purpose of this study was to map the publishing trend on CXL research and explore the research hotspots. A bibliometric analysis was performed using the Web of Science Core Collection to investigate the publishing trend on CXL research. VOSviewer was used to build the knowledge map to visualise the number of annual publications, distribution of countries and institutions, international cooperation, author productivity, source journals and research hotspots in the field of CXL. A total of 2061 peer-reviewed articles on CXL research were collected from 2001 to 2020, and the annual research production increased over time. The United States was the country with the largest number of published articles, and the University of Zurich was the most active institution. Hafezi F published the largest number of articles on CXL, while Cornea was the journal with the largest number of studies on CXL. The most frequently cited references mainly focus on CXL in the treatment of keratoconus. The keywords were divided in 5 categories: 1) CXL mechanism, 2) ectasia diseases and refractive surgery, 3) corneal biomechanics, 4) efficacy evaluation, 5) treatment of infectious keratitis. The quantity and quality of articles on CXL were evaluated using bibliometric techniques by extracting the data from the Web of Science Core Collection. The research hotspots could provide insights on CXL research, providing valuable information for clinicians to perform research in this field and find potential partners.

El present treball pretén abordar un estudi descriptiu de la traducció al xinès de l'obra Gender Trouble de Judith Butler. Com s'emmarca en les teories de l'Escola de la Manipulació, hem estudiat els factors extratextuals i paratextos que envolten la traducció, així com les solucions que la traductora ha proposat per als conceptes de gènere, utilitzant la traducció al castellà com a corpus paral·lel. En aquest treball, hem aconseguit establir la conclusió més destacada que la manca d'una terminologia definitiva de la teoria de gènere, la distància cultural i la gran diferència lingüística fan que la traducció suposi més dificultats per a la traductora xinesa que per a l'espanyola i que resulti més difícil comprendre el resultat per als receptors xinesos que per als espanyols. El presente trabajo pretende abordar un estudio descriptivo de la traducción al chino de la obra Gender Trouble de Judith Butler. Como se enmarca en las teorías de la Escuela de la Manipulación, hemos estudiado los factores extratextuales y paratextos que rodean la traducción, así como las soluciones que la traductora ha propuesto para los conceptos de género, utilizando la traducción al castellano como corpus paralelo. En este trabajo, hemos logrado establecer la conclusión más destacada de que la falta de una terminología definitiva de la teoría de género, la distancia cultural y la gran diferencia lingüística hacen que la traducción suponga más dificultades para la traductora china que para la española y que resulte más difícil comprender el resultado para los receptores chinos que para los españoles. The thesis is a descriptive study of the Chinese version of Gender Trouble by Judith Butler. Within the framework of manipulation theories, it focuses on the extratextual factors and paratext that surrounds the translation. The thesis investigates the translation solutions that the Chinese translator has adopted to render the concepts of gender, and uses the Spanish version as the parallel corpus. One of the most outstanding conclusions of this thesis is that the lack of a definitive terminology of gender theory, the cultural distance and the great linguistic difference make translation more difficult for the Chinese translator than for the Spanish one. As a result, the Chinese version causes more difficulties for Chinese recipients to understand.

Weibo (The mainstream social media of China) has grown to a huge scale since founded in 2014 and has become a platform for most people today to access information and express opinions. By analysing comments and forwarded posts in Weibo, we can dig deeper into the users’ perceptions and opinions about products, which is of a great commercial value. This paper summarizes the related researches on the sentiment analysis of Weibo in China and abroad since 2013, and analyses the analysis of Weibo sentiment analysis based on different methods.

In this work, a zero-valent iron (Fe(0)) powder/RAFT agent was used as a catalyst system for the control polymerization of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) at ambient temperature (25 °C). A kinetic investigation indicated that the polymerization was a living/controlled process. Molecular weight increased linearly with monomer conversion with a relatively low molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn < 1.35). Fe(0) wire or other zero valent metal powder (Co, Ni, Mn, Zn) are found to be applicable. Interestingly, polymerization of 4-vinylpyridine, 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate or poly(ethylene glycol)monomethyl ether methacrylate can also be well controlled with this protocol. The Fe(0)/RAFT polymerization showed its superiority with low cost, eco-friendly and potential for mass production.

We report a facile approach for the fabrication of Fe(0)-encapsulated nanoparticles via Fe(0)-mediated RAFT miniemulsion polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA). The polymerization demonstrated good control/livingness: linear kinetic plots, linear increased molecular weights, narrow molecular weight distributions and high chain end fidelity as characterized by size exclusion chromatography, NMR and matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Crosslinked uniform PMMA nanoparticles (about 130 nm of diameter) with encapsulated Fe(0) were obtained and fully characterized by transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering measurements. This work provides a facile and alternative approach for the fabrication of magnetic polymeric nanoparticles.

We report star polymer metal–organic cage (polyMOC) materials whose structures, mechanical properties, functionalities, and dynamics can all be precisely tailored through a simple three-component assembly strategy. The star polyMOC network is composed of tetra-arm star polymers functionalized with ligands on the chain ends, small molecule ligands, and palladium ions; polyMOCs are formed via metal–ligand coordination and thermal annealing. The ratio of small molecule ligands to polymer-bound ligands determines the connectivity of the MOC junctions and the network structure. The use of large M 12 L 24 MOCs enables great flexibility in tuning this ratio, which provides access to a rich spectrum of material properties including tunable moduli and relaxation dynamics., National Science Foundation (U.S.) (Award CHE-1334703)
