Background: Glioma patients often experience unfavorable outcomes and elevated mortality rates. Our study established a prognostic signature utilizing cuproptosis-associated long non-coding RNAs (CRLs) and identified novel prognostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets for glioma.Methods: The expression profiles and related data of glioma patients were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas, an accessible online database. We then constructed a prognostic signature using CRLs and evaluated the prognosis of glioma patients by means of Kaplan-Meier survival curves and receiver operating characteristic curves. A nomogram based on clinical features was employed to predict the individual survival probability of glioma patients. Functional enrichment analysis was conducted to identify crucial CRL-related enriched biological pathways. The role of LEF1-AS1 in glioma was validated in two glioma cell lines (T98 and U251).Results: We developed and validated a prognostic model for glioma with 9 CRLs. Patients with low-risk had a considerably longer overall survival (OS). The prognostic CRL signature may serve independently as an indicator of prognosis for glioma patients. In addition, functional enrichment analysis revealed significant enrichment of multiple immunological pathways. Notable differences were observed between the two risk groups in terms of immune cell infiltration, function, and immune checkpoints. We further identified four drugs based on their different IC50 values from the two risk groups. Subsequently, we discovered two molecular subtypes of glioma (cluster one and cluster two), with the cluster one subtype exhibiting a remarkably longer OS compared to the cluster two subtype. Finally, we observed that inhibition of LEF1-AS1 curbed the proliferation, migration, and invasion of glioma cells.Conclusion: The CRL signatures were confirmed as a reliable prognostic and therapy response indicator for glioma patients. Inhibition of LEF1-AS1 effectively suppressed the growth, migration, and invasion of gliomas; therefore, LEF1-AS1 presents itself as a promising prognostic biomarker and potential therapeutic target for glioma.

In this paper, a simple and efficient regeneration technology of low-temperature pickling regeneration process is proposed for Cu(II)-adsorbed activated carbon fiber felts (ACFFs). The regeneration process mainly uses the strong oxidation of acidic regenerant above boiling point to regenerate ACFFs in a confined space. With no demand for high temperature and high pressure, the regeneration process achieves a high efficiency regeneration and a remarkable enhancement of Cu(II) adsorptivity simultaneously for Cu(II)-adsorbed ACFFs. After parameter optimization, the pickling temperature of 383 K, pickling time of 3 h and HNO3 concentration of 150 g/L are adopted as optimum process parameters for the reutilization of ACFFs. The regeneration rates of ACFFs in five cycles are maintained at 424.08%–829.59%. Analytical results show that the enhancement of Cu(II) adsorptivity is mainly caused by the remarkable enhancement of specific surface area (increased by 106.08%), micropore volume (increased by 102.17%) and more abundant surface chemical structure (particularly carboxyl and nitro group) after treated by the regeneration process.

New energy power generation equipment and loads can be connected to AC / DC hybrid microgrid flexibly. In order to achieve system frequency and voltage stability, and make full use of the inertia of energy storage, wind turbines, etc. to enhance the anti-disturbance capability of the system. With the flexibility of power control in the AC/DC hybrid micro-grid, both sides of the AC and DC can achieve mutual support of power. In this paper, a virtual inertial joint control technique is proposed in combination with VSG control and virtual capacitor control. Simulation experiments show that the proposed method can effectively improve AC side damping and reduce voltage, frequency and power oscillation recovery time under given system parameters.

Lake Nansi consists of four lakes: the Nanyang,Dushan,Zhaoyang and Weishan Lake.It is a lake in the line of the Eastern Route Project(ERP) of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project(NSBD).After the project supply water in 2013,the water quality of Lake Nansi will be affected significantly.Based on the existing theories and methods,a three-dimensional hydraulic control and water quality model of the lake is presented.The model is developed under the Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code(EFDC) model.It was calibrated and verified to hydrodynamic and water quality data,using two sets of observed data from October 1 to December 31,2006 and January 1 to June 30,2007,respectively.The observed data including water surface elevation,water temperature,chemical oxygen demand,dissolved oxygen and ammonia nitrogen from five stations is used as forcing for simulations.The model results show that temporal and spatial patterns for hydrodynamic and water quality components are consistent with observed data in the reservoir.Because the direction of the water supply and natural flow is converse,the Lake Nansi is divided into the upper-lake and the lower-lake by Erji dam in the Lake Zhaoyang.Two scenarios of whole supplying water term of the lake were simulated using the model.By the analysis of the variations of the hydraulic control and water quality of the upper-lake and lower-lake,This paper proposed three advices of the ERP operation,which can help the project to give full benefits and improve the water quality.
