Funding for open access charge: Universidad de Granada/CBUA., Flood assessment in coastal river areas is subject to complex dependencies and interactions between flood drivers. In addition, coastal areas are especially vulnerable to climate change, and thus its effects should be considered in the evaluation of future flood hazard. In the present study, we propose a methodology for a robust evaluation of historical and future flooding in coastal river areas. It follows a continuous simulation approach in which a hydrologic-hydraulic modeling cascade is run for several years, driven by a simultaneous series of flood drivers. The method differs from other existing methodologies in: (a) jointly considering the relevant flood drivers, both coastal and inland, together with their dependencies and interactions, to represent the simultaneous occurrence of extreme water levels correctly, and (b) obtaining local-scale physically consistent projections of flood drivers to account for future climate change effects on compound flood hazard. The methodology is tested for a coastal river reach in NW Spain. The results show that, although mean sea level rise is usually expected to be the main driver of increased flood hazard, climate change effects on river discharge can play a very significant role in regions with compound flooding potential., European Commission 754446, UGR Research and Knowledge Transfer Fund-Athenea3i, Universidad de Granada/CBUA

This paper analyzes the main variables which determines the relation between disinformation and the youth responsibility during the last stage of Covid-19 pandemic in Spain. The document presents relevant results on this subject. At the Introduction the reader will find the theoretical framework of the following concepts: disinformation, responsibility, credibility, and youth responsibility variables. The greatest interest, considering the authors specialization, falls in communication factors. The methods applied had been the reference review of the literature found about this subject, as well as a qualitative opinion research through discussion groups with young University students from Communication Schools in Madrid, both public and private. This recent study, held in June 2021, provide a very rich material for this paper. The main results and findings are the facts of being not satisfied with the information received about Covid-19; the knowledge about their most credible sources; the connection between information and responsibility, and some of the solutions said by youth to be more responsible in this context. As a conclusion, this paper confirms the first hypothesis of considering the disinformation as a variable which causes the lack of youth responsibility. Regarding the second hypothesis it is checked that young people consider communication as a solution for being more responsible.

Feedback is a type of formative evaluation linked to student learning and academic achievement. However, it is not known how students perceive this process since there are no instruments to measure attitudes towards feedback. The objective of this work was to develop and validate an attitude scale towards academic feedback through an Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), using the principal components method and an internal consistency analysis using Cronbach's Alpha. The sample consisted of 274 students from 2015, 2016, and 2017 cohorts of pedagogy careers from five Chilean universities. The results showed the consolidation of the instrument and its final conformation in four components (Negative experience towards feedback, Effectiveness of feedback, Feedback as an opportunity, and Resistance towards feedback) with a total of 15 items, which allow measuring the students' attitude towards this written formative evaluation.

In this paper the synthesis and study of the structural, morphological, electrical, magnetic and electronic properties of the LaBiFe2O6 novel material are reported. The material was produced using the standard ceramic method. The Rietveld analysis of experimental data of x-ray diffraction showed that it synthesizes in an orthorhombic perovskite structure (Pnma, #62 space group). Two types of grain, micro and submicrometric, with the LaBiFe2O6 stoichiometry were identified by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray dispersive spectroscopy. Results of electrical polarization and dielectric constant ferroelectric suggest the occurrence of response of the material at room temperature. A T=300 K the material is ferromagnetic and exhibits an anomaly at T=258 K, which is attributed to anisotropy effects, suggesting the occurrence of biferroic behaviour. Results of diffuse reflectance suggest a semiconductor behaviour with energy gap Eg=2,17 eV, which is in agreement with calculations of band structure and density of states for one spin orientation, while for the other spin configuration calculations suggest a conductor feature., Comment: 18 pages, 14 figures, 4 tables

This work shows the wave propagation in fluid-solid interfaces due to dynamic excitations, such interface waves are known as Scholtes waves. We studied a wide range of elastic solid materials used in engineering. The interface connects an acoustic medium (fluid) and another solid. It has been shown that by means of an analysis of diffracted waves in a fluid, it is possible to deduce the mechanical characteristics of the solid medium, specifically, its propagation velocities. For this purpose, the diffracted field of pressures and displacements, due to an initial pressure in the fluid, are expressed using boundary integral representations, which satisfy the equation of motion. The initial pressure in the fluid is represented by a Hankels function of second kind and zero order. The solution to this problem of wave propagation is obtained by means of the Indirect Boundary Element Method, which is equivalent to the well-known Somiglianas representation theorem. The validation of the results was performed by means of the Discrete Wave Number Method. Firstly, spectra of pressures to illustrate the behavior of the fluid for each solid material considered are included, then, the Fast Fourier Transform algorithm to display the results in the time domain is applied, where the emergence of Scholtes waves and the amount of energy that they carry are highlighted.

El quiste óseo unicameral se localiza excepcionalmente en el astrágalo, y só- lo once casos han sido publicados previamente en la literatura médica. Se presenta un nuevo caso en una niña de cinco años de edad, que por su tamaño y localización fue tratado quirúrgicamente con legrado y aposición de aloinjerto. Consideramos que en los quistes óseos de localización en astrágalo y que ocupan más del 30-40% de su volumen deben evitarse las perforaciones y punciones intraquísticas debido al riesgo de fractura y necrosis del mismo. Unicameral bone cysts are very rarely found in the talus and we have only been able to find 11 previously reported in the literature consulted. We report a further case occurring in a five-year-old girl because of its site and location treated surgically by means of curettage and allograft. We believe that in bone cysts occupying more than 30-40% of the talus, perforations and intracystic punctures should be avoided due to the risk of fracture and necrosis.

Las bentonitas son uno de los recursos minerales no metálicos más abundantes en la Región Grau (Perú). En el presente trabajo se evalúan en forma sistemática las características físico-químicas y mineralógicas del mineral procedente de cinco yacimientos de la zona de Amotape, cuyas reservas estimadas en una primera evaluación ascienden a L7 millones de TM. Los resultados de los análisis químicos y mineralógicos, nos determinan que las bentonitas son del tipoWyoming. Las posibles aplicaciones pueden concretarse en la preparación de lodos de perforación, arenas de fundición y peletización en menas de Hierro., Bentonitas are one of the non-metallic mineral resources more abundant in Grau Region (Peru). The physicochemical and mineralogical characteristics of ore from fíve deposits in the Amotape Zone are systematically evaluated in the present paper. Ore reserve are estimated in 1.7 millón tonnes. By chemical and mineralogical analyses the bentonites can be assimulaated to Wyoming type. Possible apptications for these bentonites may be the preparation of drilling muds, foundry sands and iron ore pelletising.

Una rara variante no descrita de la fractura-luxación de Galeazzi, con afectación de la epífisis del cúbito, cuya reducción estaba impedida por la interposición del tendón Extensor Carpi Ulnaris, (extensor cubital del carpo). Los autores presentan un caso y revisan la literatura, así como su solución quirúrgica y resultado obtenido. An unusual variant of Galeazzi's fracture-luxation involving the distal ulnar epiphysis, whos e reduction was impeded by the interposition of the Extensor Carpi Ulnaris (ECU) tendom.
