Basado en los resultados de la investigación titulada; Competitividad de la micro y pequeña empresa turística del valle del Mantaro (Espinoza Montes & Espinoza Segovia, 2012), donde se concluye que; Los recursos humanos, constituyen el factor más débil en las Mypes (1.37), se inicia esta investigación postulando que: El talento humano determina el desarrollo organizacional en microempresas turísticas del Valle del Mantaro en medida significativa, manteniendo un estado de atraso. Utilizando el método deductivo y el analítico sintético, las técnicas de la encuesta, la estadística descriptiva (media) e inferencial, el estudio explica en qué medida el talento humano se relaciona con el desarrollo organizacional en microempresas turísticas del valle del Mantaro. Con un nivel de significancia de 5%, los resultados indican que la variable Talento Humano, tiene poder explicativo y es significativo para explicar Desarrollo Organizacional. Los resultados también indican que el talento humano, está determinada por sólo dos dimensiones más relevantes: El compromiso y la acción del personal. Es así que se contrasta que el talento humano se relaciona con el desarrollo organizacional en microempresas turísticas del Valle del Mantaro en medida significativa, manteniendo un estado de atraso.

CIES2020 - XVII Congresso Ibérico e XIII Congresso Ibero-americano de Energia Solar RESUMEN: Esta investigación buscó identificar las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero producidas por la instalación de los sistemas fotovoltaicos en las zonas aisladas no conectadas a la red eléctrica del Programa Masivo Fotovoltaico en el Perú; para lo cual se utilizaron datos del Fondo de Inclusión Social Energético, desde el inicio del programa en el año 2017 hasta el primer semestre del año 2020. Se optó por utilizar un sistema dinámico para el tratamiento de variables y parámetros utilizados durante el análisis; como lo son la ubicación geográfica, la cantidad de usuarios beneficiados, y el tiempo en el que se dio la instalación; y la relación que guardan estos con la generación de gases de efecto invernadero. Los resultados obtenidos reflejaron el impacto del programa en el medio ambiente, expresado en toneladas de CO2, y segmentado por años, siendo relevante para las decisiones de mitigación que deberá asumir el sector energético. ABSTRACT: This research sought to identify the greenhouse gas emissions produced by the installation of photovoltaic systems in isolated areas not connected to the electricity grid of the Massive Photovoltaic Program in Peru; for which data from the Social Energy Inclusion Fund were used, from the beginning of the program in 2017 to the first semester of 2020. It was decided to use a dynamic system for the treatment of variables and parameters used during the analysis; such as the geographical location, the number of users benefited, and the time in which the installation took place; and the relationship that these have with the generation of greenhouse gas. Surgical resection is currently the best treatment for salivary gland tumors. A reliable magnetic resonance imaging mapping, encompassing tumor grade, location, and extension may assist safe and effective tumor resection and provide better information for patients regarding potential risks and morbidity after surgical intervention. However, direct examination of the tumor grade and extension using conventional morphological MRI remains difficult, often requiring contrast media injection and complex algorithms on perfusion imaging to estimate the degree of malignancy. In addition, contrast-enhanced MRI technique may be problematic due to the recently demonstrated gadolinium accumulation in the dentate nucleus of the cerebellum. Significant developments in magnetic resonance diffusion imaging, involving voxel-based quantitative analysis through the measurement of the apparent diffusion coefficient, have enhanced our knowledge on the different histopathological salivary tumor grades. Other diffusion imaging-derived techniques, including high-order tractography models, have recently demonstrated their usefulness in assessing the facial nerve location in parotid tumor context. All of these imaging techniques do not require contrast media injection. Our review starts by outlining the physical basis of diffusion imaging, before discussing findings from diagnostic studies testing its usefulness in assessing salivary glands tumors with diffusion MRI.

Background: Hydatidosis is an endemic zoonosis in Chile. We report a 48-year-old former slaughterman, with a previous history of pulmonary hydatidosis, who presented a stroke without associated cardiovascular symptoms. An echocardiogram revealed a tumor mass with cystic features in the left ventricle. The patient was operated and the cyst was successfully excised. During the follow up, the patient remains asymptomatic.

Tipe A aortic dissection involves the ascending aorta and has high mortality rates without surgical treatment.To report the results of surgical treatment of type A aortic dissection.Retrospective review of medical records of 100 patients aged 17 to 78 years (73% males) operated between January 2000 and August 2008, for type A aortic dissection. Follow up was performed with telephone interviews and review of national death records.Eighty three percent of patients had an acute dissection. Operative mortality was 27 and 20% for patients with acute and chronic dissection, respectively. Mortality was 50% among patients aged 70 years or more, compared with 21% among their younger counterparts, The most common complication was bleeding that required a new surgical procedure in 18% of patients. Actuarial survival was 70% at five years. Cardiovascular problems caused the death of two of the nine patients that died during follow up.Surgical mortality among patients with type A aortic dissection was higher among patients with acute episodes and those aged 70 years or more.

Marfan syndrome is a hereditary disease with an autosomal dominant transmission, which affects the connective tissue, with skeletal, cardiovascular and ocular involvement. It is one of the most prevalent connective tissue disorders, presenting a risk of aortic dissection of approximately 1% even without dilatation of the aorta. When dissection occurs during pregnancy and requires surgical intervention (type A dissection), maternal mortality is high (2096-30%). We report a 38 year-old woman with Marfan syndrome that had an acute type A aortic dissection and severe aortic regurgitation at 37 weeks of gestation. The patient underwent a cesarean section and delivered a healthy baby. Afterwards, aortic valve repair and ascending aortic replacement was successfully performed under circulatory arrest with deep hypothermia. Additionally mitral valve repair for degenerative disease with posterior, autologous pericardium mitral valve ring was performed.

La contribución de la mineralogía es primordial en las investigaciones mineras modernas. Su importancia radica en la calificación de los yacimientos minerales y en lo que se ha designado como mineralogía de procesos, este concepto ha tomado vigor por las diferentes utilizaciones en el procesamiento de yacimientos minerales. Los estudios mineralógicos facilitan información sobre las diferentes clases de minerales y sus peculiaridades. Con ello se suministra información de la explicación de los resultados obtenidos en las diferentes pruebas metalúrgicas y determinar el potencial que podría afectar al procesamiento. Al ser determinante establecer la disposición de los minerales en el depósito, necesitamos aplicar los distintos métodos de caracterización mineralógica como son la difractometría de rayos X, microscopia electrónica (microsonda y de barrido), microscopia óptica, entre otras. Estos recursos se emplean en forma conjunta, siendo complementarias para obtener la información completa. Esta investigación permite evaluar el rol de la mineralogía en la geometalurgia, los métodos de caracterización; casos aplicados en la lixiviación de Au y flotación de cobre en el ámbito nacional. Se destaca la importancia de la caracterización mineralógica para establecer cuál será el comportamiento metalúrgico de los minerales a procesar.

Objetivo: Evaluar la efectividad de dos métodos de colectas para Anofelinos adultos (cebo humano y trampas de luz CDC), en una localidad endémica de malaria del distrito de Yurimaguas, Loreto, Perú. Materiales y métodos: Las colectas de los mosquitos adultos con cebo humano y trampas de luz CDC se realizó en cinco barrios. Se estimaron ecuaciones de regresión lineal, cuadrática y cúbica para calcular el número de anofelinos colectados por cebo humano a partir de datos de captura por trampas de luz. Resultados: Se capturó 7790 anofelinos en cebos humanos y 1525 en trampas de luz. Se encontraron nueve especies de Anopheles, Conclusiones: Se proponen tres modelos de regresión para estimar el número de anofelinos colectados en cebos humanos a partir de trampas de luz CDC.

Globalization has been a factor that has brought countries closer worldwide, and Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) are eager to look for new market opportunities in developing countries. This chapter analyzes the implementation of MNEs' global ethical principles in business into local moral standards of societies from developing countries. The author will discuss, using current scenarios, how principles of both moral relativism and moral absolutism can provide a profitable or punishable opportunity within developing countries when MNEs operate accordingly, or not, to ethical decision making processes in business. Additionally, the chapter proposes how MNEs' managers can discover the limits of moral free space, to distinguish a moral value in tension with their own from one that is intolerable. At the end, it is expected that MNEs' managers can apply ethical decision making in business by clearly perceiving and understanding their corporate culture in a developing country society.
