O estudo objetivou caracterizar as fases do relacionamento interorganizacional na integração ensino-serviço do exercício da Enfermagem, no âmbito operacional da atenção primária à saúde em um município catarinense. Adotou-se a abordagem qualitativa em um estudo de caso da cooperação entre duas organizações. Foram entrevistados oito enfermeiros docentes e oito enfermeiros assistenciais. Realizou-se análise de conteúdo com os resultados demonstrando uma série de elementos quanto às fases da interação (negociação, compromisso e execução de atividades), bem como à variabilidade de seu conteúdo ao longo do tempo. Conclui-se que a interação no nível operacional caracteriza-se por dinâmicas ao longo dos ciclos de relacionamento que abrangem usualmente o semestre letivo, com produção de novas negociações e compromissos para o seguinte. This study aimed to characterize the stages of the inter-organizational relationships between educational and caring aspects of Nursing, operating in the context of primary health care in a municipality of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The qualitative approach of the case study was used by deliberately selecting the cooperation between two organizations. Eight teaching nurses and eight assistant nurses were interviewed. The data were submitted to content analysis, and the results demonstrated a number of elements in the phases of interaction (negotiation, commitment and execution of activities), as well as the variability of their content over time. It was concluded that the interaction, at an operational level, is characterized by dynamics that happen during relationship cycles, usually spanning through the school-semester, producing new negotiations and commitments for the following semester. El estudio tuvo como objetivo caracterizar las fases de las relaciones inter-organizacionales en el ejercicio de la integración docente-asistencial de Enfermería, que operan en el contexto de la atención primaria de salud en un municipio de Santa Catarina. Adoptó-se un enfoque cualitativo, de estudio de caso de la cooperación entre ambas organizaciones. Se entrevistó a ocho profesores de enfermería y ocho enfermeros asistenciales. El análisis de contenido de los datos recogidos ha demostrado una serie de elementos como las fases de interacción (negociación, el compromiso y la ejecución de actividades), así como la variabilidad de su contenido en el tiempo. Se concluye que la interacción, en nivel operativo, se caracteriza por la dinámica al largo de los ciclos de la relación, que por lo general cubren el semestre, con la producción de nuevas negociaciones y compromisos para el siguiente.

This qualitative study used a case study approach with the aim of analyzing the cooperation between the Nursing Course of the Federal University of Santa Catarina and the Municipal Health Secretariat of Florianópolis, from the Pró-Saúde I Project. The data, from documentary sources and interviews, were analyzed using the directed content analysis technique, and interpreted considering the Cooperative Interorganizational Relationships Model. The results show commitment to formalize the project between both institutions, at a strategic level, followed by negotiations and commitments, culminating with a modified project and a new agreement regulating the partnership. For its implementation, the Management Committee was responsible for making effective, in a cyclic way, the relationship for the proposed activities. It is concluded that there was approximation between the institutions at different levels, reflected in the cooperation within the healthcare units for education-service integration, with the aim of redirecting the nursing training. Investigación cualitativa, con abordaje de estudio de caso, con el objetivo de analizar la cooperación entre el Curso de Enfermería de la Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina y la Secretaría de Salud Municipal de Florianópolis, a partir del Proyecto Pro Salud I. Los datos, de fuentes documentales y entrevistas, fueron analizados por la técnica de análisis de contenido dirigida, interpretados a la luz del Modelo de Relaciones Interorganizacionales Cooperativas. Los resultados muestran compromiso para formalizar el proyecto entre ambas instituciones, a nivel estratégico, seguido de negociaciones, culminando con el proyecto modificado y un nuevo convenio regulador. Para su ejecución, el Comité Gestor fue responsable por efectuar, de forma cíclica, las relaciones para las actividades propuestas. Se concluye que hubo una aproximación de las instituciones en diferentes niveles, reflejando la cooperación en las unidades de salud para la integración enseñanza-servicio, para la reorientación de la formación en Enfermería. A indústria brasileira de animação passa por momento de estímulos para sua produção, mas as oportunidades de financiamento e exibição não ponderam acerca dos métodos que cada estúdio utiliza para desenvolver as obras. O presente artigo traz uma proposta, por meio de tags de cor, de integração de três momentos da pré-produção (roteiro, storyboard e animatic), apresentando uma alternativa de identificação de trechos planejados nessas etapas, buscando economia de tempo ao conectar estratos narrativos de diferentes fases.

Motion Capture technologies transfer coordinate data from the human body movement and locomotion to a digital structure in order to move the avatar according to the actions performed by a person, creating digital animation function curves, marking as a keyframe each frame captured in a timeline. Those keyframes create excess of short movements as they try to correct the coordinates to a distinct virtual character from the real person who originated them, making the avatar quiver each time it performs any action. For animation purposes, in order to produce visually harmonic movements, it is necessary to remove manually the exceeded keyframes. The present study proposes an automated scripted method to reduce the amount of keyframes, keeping the shapes of the function curves, in order to customize the aesthetic gestural properties of characters animated by MoCap. It is presented a graphic comparison from before and after applying the automated customization proposed.

Modern motion capturing systems can accurately store human motion with high precision. Editing this kind of data is troublesome, due to the amount and complexity of data. In this paper, we present a method for decoupling the aspects of human motion that are strictly related to locomotion and balance, from other movements that may convey expressiveness and intentionality. We then demonstrate how this decoupling can be useful in creating variations of the original motion, or in mixing different actions together.

This is qualitative research with an interpretive analytical base, which aimed to present families' perceptions regarding the social support in the transition following a natural disaster. Six family units, living in a rural area in the south of Brazil, which was affected by a natural disaster in 2008, were interviewed. The data was collected in 2010, based on participant observation, narrative interview, genogram and eco-map. The collected narratives were analyzed following the stages of Fritz Schutze's method. The results reveal the help perceived during the transition phase, the lack of help which had been expected, the emotional support from relatives and friends and the resources recalled by the families in their eco-maps, which were of fundamental importance for the initial recovery phase in the aftermath of the disaster. The study contributes to the understanding of the context of the families' recovery, and emphasizes the relevance of social support as a means of coping with the changes. DESCRIPTORS: Nursing. Esta pesquisa etnográfica objetivou compreender os rituais de cuidado realizados por famílias, durante a preparação para a vivência de parto domiciliar planejado. Participaram 25 famílias, no período de setembro de 2010 a abril de 2011. As técnicas de coleta de dados foram a observação participante e a entrevista. Mediante processos de apreensão, síntese, teorização e recontextualização, emergiram duas categorias: A casa para nascer e Preparando a chegada do bebê. O parto domiciliar é uma experiência construída no âmbito do casal grávido. A casa é concebida pelas famílias como um local sagrado para a vivência de uma experiência que agregue valores existenciais ao ato fisiológico do nascimento. Compreender esses rituais contribui para o oferecimento de cuidado de enfermagem culturalmente congruente. This ethnographic study aimed to understand the rituals of care performed by families, while preparing for the experience of planned home birth. 25 families participated in the period September 2010 to April 2011. The techniques of data collection were participant observation and interview. Through the processes of apprehension, synthesis, theorization and re-contexture, two categories emerged: The house to be born in and Preparing baby's arrival. Homebirth is an experience built within the pregnant couple. The house is considered the sacred place to experience childbirth, aggregating existential values to the physiological act of giving birth. Understanding these rituals contributes to offer a nursing care of quality in order to respect the cultural aspects involved in this assistance. Este estudio etnográfico tuvo como objetivo comprender los rituales de cuidado realizado por las familias, en preparación para la experiencia del parto en casa. 25 familias participaron en el período septiembre 2010 a abril 2011. Las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la observación participante y la entrevista. Por medio de la recopilación de información, sintetizar, teorizar y recontextualizar, emergieron dos categorías: La casa para el nacimiento y Preparación para la llegada del bebé. El parto en casa es una experiencia construida en la pareja embarazada. La casa está diseñada para las familias como un lugar sagrado para la experiencia de una experiencia existencial que añade valor al proceso fisiológico del nacimiento. La comprensión de estos rituales contribuye a la prestación de cuidados de enfermería culturalmente congruente.

The purpose of this study was to reflect theoretically on the theme of health education and how it interfaces with health promotion. It consists of a theoretical-reflexive study aimed at comparing these practices to the concepts elaborated in the Letter of Ottawa, the pedagogy of liberation of Paulo Freire, empowerment and culture, here comprehended as key elements guiding the activity of the nurse in health education in actions performed by health services. In order to take this reflexive path, the authors analyzed the interrelationships of these theoretical interfaces and their approaches to health promotion practices. From this presented theoretical framework, it is possible to reflect on the possibilities of extending care, based on the premise that all moments comprising interaction with patients of health services must be considered an opportunity to develop health education actions, considering the knowledge of nurses characterized as social actors who are responsible for the events that take place in the health scenario. O objetivo do artigo foi refletir teoricamente acerca da temática educação em saúde e suas interfaces na promoção da saúde. Trata-se de um estudo teórico-reflexivo, que procurou cotejar essas práticas com as concepções da carta de Ottawa, a pedagogia libertadora de Paulo Freire, o empoderamento e a cultura, aqui compreendidos como elementos-chave para a atuação do enfermeiro na educação em saúde em ações nos serviços de saúde. Para esse percurso reflexivo, realizamos as inter-relações dessas vertentes teóricas e suas aproximações com as práticas de promoção da saúde. A partir do arcabouço teórico apresentado, podemos refletir sobre possibilidades de ampliação do cuidar, embasadas na premissa de que todos os momentos que compreendem interação com os usuários dos serviços de saúde devem ser considerados propícios para desenvolver ações de educação em saúde, haja vista o conhecimento dos enfermeiros, caracterizados como atores sociais responsáveis pelos acontecimentos no cenário da saúde. El objetivo de este trabajo fue reflexionar teóricamente sobre el tema de la educación para la salud y sus interfaces en la promoción de la salud. Se trata de un estudio teórico-reflexivo, que busca comparar estas prácticas con las opiniones de la Carta de Ottawa, la pedagogía liberadora de Paulo Freire, el empoderamiento y la cultura, entendidas aquí como elementos clave para el desempeño de los profesionales de la salud en la educación sanitaria en acciones en los servicios de salud. Para esta línea de pensamiento, realizamos las interrelaciones de estos componentes teóricos y sus prácticas con las prácticas de promoción de la salud. Desde el marco teórico presentado, podemos reflexionar sobre las opciones para ampliar la atención, basada en la premisa de que todos los momentos que incluyen la interacción con los usuarios de los servicios de salud deban ser considerados propicios para la conducción de la educación en salud, teniendo en cuenta el conocimiento de los enfermeros, que son los actores sociales responsables de los hechos en el escenario de la salud.

Objective: an experience report with families after natural disasters to present the adapted application of autobiographical narrative analysis in nursing research, proposed by Fritz Schütze. Method: to describe the process of obtaining narratives followed by the adaptations steps of method application. Results: six cases of families from a rural area of southern Brazil were surveyed one year after the disaster which resulted in deaths and material losses. The first step was the formal text analysis. The second, was the accurate analysis of each narrative segment. The third phase consisted of the analytic abstraction with the reconstruction of the families' stories. The fourth step recaptured the discussion segments of narratives and theoretical explanations developed by the informants about the disaster. The fifth step summarized the comparison among different cases. Conclusion: the method offers support for interviews and in-depth analysis of health and disease narratives and their social context. Its potential for application to nursing research highlights attitudes and life changes in the face of crisis and suffering, based on experiences of individuals in groups such as families and communities. RESUMEN Objetivo: relatar experiencias para presentar la aplicación adaptada del análisis de narrativas autobiográficas propuesta por Fritz Schütze con las familias en el post-desastre natural, en la investigación en enfermería. Método: primeramente, se describe el proceso de obtención de las narrativas, seguido por las adaptaciones de los pasos de aplicación del método. Resultados: se investigaron seis casos de familias de un área rural del sul del Brasil después de un año del desastre en el que ocurrieron muertes y pérdidas materiales. El primer paso fue el análisis formal del texto. El segundo paso fue el análisis minucioso de cada segmento de la narrativa y el tercero consistió en la abstracción analítica con la reconstrucción de las historias de las familias. El cuarto paso rescató los segmentos argumentativos de las narrativas y las explicaciones teóricas desarrolladas por los propios informantes sobre el desastre. El quinto paso se resumió a la comparación entre los diferentes casos. Conclusion: este método ofrece subsidios para la entrevista y el análisis profundo de las narrativas de salud, enfermedad y su contexto social. Su potencial de aplicación en la investigación de la enfermería destaca las actitudes y los cambios de la vida frente a la crisis y al sufrimiento, a partir de las vivencias de los individuos en grupos como familias y comunidad. RESUMO Objetivo: relato de experiência com o objetivo de apresentar a aplicação adaptada da análise de narrativas autobiográficas proposta por Fritz Schütze com famílias no pós-desastre natural na pesquisa em enfermagem. Método: descreve-se primeiramente o processo de obtenção das narrativas, seguido das adaptações dos passos de aplicação do método. Resultados: foram pesquisados seis casos de famílias de uma área rural do sul do Brasil, um ano após o desastre no qual houve mortes e perdas materiais. O primeiro passo foi a análise formal do texto. O segundo, a análise minuciosa de cada segmento de narrativa. O terceiro consistiu na abstração analítica com a reconstrução das histórias das famílias. O quarto passo resgatou os segmentos argumentativos das narrativas e as explicações teóricas desenvolvidas pelos próprios informantes sobre o desastre. O quinto passo resumiu-se na comparação entre os diferentes casos. Conclusão: este método oferece subsídios para a entrevista e análise aprofundada das narrativas da saúde e da doença e seu contexto social. O seu potencial de aplicação na pesquisa de enfermagem destaca o desvelar das atitudes e das mudanças de vida frente à crise e ao sofrimento, a partir de vivências de indivíduos em grupos como famílias e comunidade.

We propose a framework for using human acting as input for the animation of non-humanoid creatures; captured motion is classified using machine learning techniques, and a combination of preexisting clips and motion retargeting are used to synthetize new motions. This should lead to a broader use of motion capture.

Pesquisa bibliográfica que objetivou analisar a operacionalização da metodologia assistencial em dissertações de enfermagem elaboradas com base na Teoria de Enfermagem Transcultural. Foram avaliadas 26 dissertações defendidas em um Programa de Pós-Graduação, entre 1990 e 2005. A partir de um roteiro-guia foi realizada a análise de conteúdo, envolvendo convergências e divergências entre os dados coletados, tendo por base interpretativa a própria teoria. Os resultados mostraram que os mestrandos optaram por propostas metodológicas flexíveis e criativas. A fase de avaliação culturológica e implementação dos cuidados contempla grande profusão de instrumentos e técnicas. Há lacunas no que diz respeito ao próprio significado do termo "cultura". Além disso, muitos desses estudos são omissos no que se refere à etapa assistencial da operacionalização das ações planejadas. Conclui-se que, tanto os pontos positivos, quanto as fragilidades apresentadas nos resultados desses trabalhos, contribuem para que as enfermeiras possam realizar o cuidado culturalmente congruente, em qualquer cenário assistencial.

O conceito de cultura tem sido evocado no ofício do desenvolvimento da educação em saúde, mas não tem sido explorado em profundidade pelos autores da chamada corrente de educação popular e pelos profissionais de saúde em geral. Neste sentido, o presente artigo aborda uma reflexão teórica acerca deste conceito na prática de educação em saúde e na prática do cuidado de enfermagem, procurando resgatar o mesmo, principalmente sob o prisma do referencial da Antropologia Simbólica/Interpretativa. A partir daí, realiza-se uma aproximação dos elementos contidos nas diversas definições do termo, assim como com as idéias germinais sobre cultura apontadas no referencial freireano.

Aim: to know families care routines of children with cerebral palsy. Method: a descriptive and qualitative research. Twelve families were interviewed between June and July, 2013 through a semi-structured questionnaire at a rehabilitation institution for people with disabilities. There was a content analysis, grouping the interpretation of similarities and differences in the light of family routines approach. Results: two categories emerged: care routines: daily needs for hygiene, feeding, medication and transportation; and care routines with therapies and school attendance. Final considerations: families care routines are organized according to therapies’ priority considered as crucial for the child's future

This article is a literature review of the letters and declarations about the strategy of health promotion, since the Ottawa letter of 1986. Its objective is search for a historical restoration of their currents and conceptions in order to offer subsidies for understanding the present reality. This article concludes that the Ottawa letter continues to remain a central piece of direction for the health promotion strategy all over the world. It has oriented other conferences, principally when they emphasize social dimensions and the importance of five essential strategies for achieving full health: public policies, healthy environments, reinforcement of communitarian action, creation of personal abilities, and reorientation of health services.

The number of products capable of displaying stereoscopic (also known as 3D) images has been growing in recent years. The use of this technology has outgrown the silver screen and is now available in televisions, computers, tablets, and even cell phones. Due to its nature, content created for stereoscopic media requires attention in relation to some characteristics not present in the context of monoscopic media. With a focus on image creation, the objective of this research was to assess how different stereoscopic image generation methods can affect human perception. To achieve this a virtual environment was created and from it different videos were generated using various methods including converging cameras, parallel cameras, and depth image-based rendering (DIBR). These videos were shown to participants who assessed the picture quality, depth quality, and visual comfort of the media. It was found that there was very little difference between the perception of images generated by parallel and convergent cameras, while there was a substantial difference in terms of perception between these two types of image and DIBR images. Such results can significantly affect the choice of technology for stereoscopic image generation, influencing the production costs, the methods involved, and human and machine time consumption.

This qualitative descriptive study was performed at a pediatric hospitalization unit with the objective to understand the impact of child hospitalization on the daily lives of single parent families. Interviews were conducted with twelve families, represented by the mothers, using a form divided into two parts: construction of the genogram and ecomap and semi-structured questions. Content analysis was used. The results point out that the major factors affecting the everyday lives of single parent families is the dependency on the family support network and the difficulty that both healthcare professionals and institutions have in developing an individualized look at the different family structures when providing their needs. In conclusion, there is a need for thinking and reviewing institutional practices and norms aiming at meeting the true particularities and needs of the everyday lives of today’s families. Estudo qualitativo que objetivou conhecer as percepcoes dos profissionais das equipes de saude da familia sobre o cuidado que estes prestam as criancas indigenas. Foram realizadas entrevistas em profundidade com nove profissionais que atuam nas equipes de saude, em duas Terras Indigenas de Santa Catarina, Brasil. A analise de conteudo dos dados foi discutida a luz da Teoria de Madeleine Leininger. O perfil dos entrevistados se caracterizava pela idade jovem e pela falta de capacitacao especifica para trabalhar na atencao em saude indigena e rotatividade no emprego. Duas categorias emergiram: maneiras de fazer o cuidado, e a relacao da equipe com os lideres e comunidade indigena. As contradicoes entre o desejo de respeitar as praticas dos povos indigenas e a ansiedade em resolver as necessidades de saude favorecem condutas impositivas do cuidado profissional. Obstaculos na comunicacao estao entre as dificuldades encontradas pela equipe. O cuidado a crianca segue um modelo coletivo nesta populacao, em que liderancas indigenas avaliam o trabalho dos profissionais.

The scope of this study is to analyze the implementation of health promotion actions in the working process of the Family Health Teams of a city in the state of Santa Catarina. It involves research adopting a qualitative approach linked to the methodological benchmark of Paulo Freire, consisting of three dialectic moments: thematic investigation; encoding and decoding; critical revelation. Fifteen Culture Circles were conducted, covering five district health units, with the participation of 70 professionals. Each meeting was scheduled to last two hours with an average attendance of thirteen participants of the Family Health teams. The research revealed that there are limitations to the implementation of health promotion as a key element of participatory action together with the community. It also highlighted the importance of interdisciplinarity and intersectorality between workers and the city, state and federal manager. The commitment to the principles of the Unified Health System (SUS) and health promotion also presents itself as a challenge to improve the quality of life of the population.

The scope of this study is to identify what empowerment strategies were addressed for the promotion of health in health research, characterizing them from a socio-critical and post-structuralist standpoint. It involved an Integrative Review conducted in May 2011 of the Medline, Lilacs and SciELO databases. The inclusion criteria were complete research articles, case reports or experience reports, published between 2002 and 2011 in Portuguese, Spanish and English. The research criteria included the key words "empowerment" and "health promotion" (DeCS/BIREME). Twenty articles, which presented strategies of individual and/or social empowerment that were characterized by a socio-critical perspective, were selected. It is considered that some activities, mainly those that included thematic discussion groups, represented a mobilization and empowerment strategy. These included theater, culture circles, community therapy, therapeutic learning workshops, home visits, university extension and social action projects. It is considered that all empowerment strategies are inherently health promotion strategies, but not all health promotion strategies effectively result in empowerment.

The family develops complex strategies for actions and relationships among its members, in order to maintain health and life continuity. It is important for nursing to learn more about the ways families care and promote their health, making its practice more focused on the reality in that group of people. This paper aims to address the reference about family routines and rituals, by elucidating its origin and key concepts. As a methodology, it was used articles selection through the BIREME electronic library, starting from the descriptors: family routines/family ritual/rituals. The results show that discussions about this topic have started in the 50s and they have been addressed by the health international literature, with different approaches. It became important for nursing in the 90s, when it was used in different family contexts. However, most studies indicate family routines and rituals can be applied to positively influence the family health.

Literature review with the purpose to identify the concepts of health promotion and quality of life present on the Ottawa Charter, in national and international publications of the health field from 2000 to 2010. We identified 31 articles in the Medline, Lilacs, BDENF and BIREME data bases written by professionals from different areas of health knowledge, in which its readings and contexts were applied in reference to the conception of health promotion and quality of life according to the Ottawa Carter. The articles highlight the empowerment and social participation as relevant actions to gain quality and healthy lifestyles and longevity. Professional actions committed to a co-responsibility and general well-being emerge as the greatest value of the health promotion programs, reducing costs and promoting quality of life. The analyzed articles lead to the need to mobilize individuals, communities and society as key points for health promotion.

This is an article of reflection with the aim on describing possibilities of use of the theoretical framework of Family Rituals and Routines, in the family nursing. As a methodology, the selection of articles through electronic databases was used from the following keywords: family routines, family rituals and rituals. Results indicate a close connection on family rituals and routines to the family cycle, and also, individual development, especially, on children. Nursing studies are needed to further investigate methods and tools for the investigation of family rituals and routines that promote advances in the practice of taking care of families.

El desarrollo de la familia ocurre a traves de etapas y de transiciones a lo largo del tiempo, generando mudanzas esperadas y/o inesperadas. Este articulo objetiva presentar aspectos de las mudanzas en los papeles, en las tareas y el cuidado familiar de dos familias rurales, de tres y cuatro generaciones, residentes en un municipio del Medio Valle de Itajai/Santa Catarina. Es una investigacion convergente asistencial, cuya recoleccion de datos se dio durante la asistencia, complementada con entrevista, genograma, ecomapa y observacion. El analisis de los datos fue de contenido y los resultados fueron discutidos con la perspectiva del ciclo vital familiar. Las transiciones de madurez revelan el proceso de transmision de la herencia, el desafio de las parejas jovenes delante de los papeles parentales y en construir un modelo familiar propio, con participacion de otros miembros. Las transiciones situacionales envuelven mudanzas en las tareas agricolas y domesticas, en la situacion de enfermedad en la familia y la negociacion de papeles, como el de cuidador. Con este estudio podemos conocer aspectos del desarrollo de familias rurales y su cuidado, lo que contribuye para la asistencia de enfermeria familiar en este contexto.

This is a qualitative study of multiple cases, with four families and their children participating in a program of food supplementation in Florianopolis/SC - State. Its aim was to understand how daily routine of families with malnourished children or at nutritional risk was being developed. There were direct observations in the field and recorded interviews with the mother or other child’s caregiver at home, at the Health Unit and at the Local Community Center from October 2006 to August 2007. We used the method of content analysis and comparative analysis in light of the theoretical framework. The results indicate that families establish routines that constantly change to meet the basic needs of the members before expected and unexpected events in the family environment, and this may promote the nucleus cohesion and help in the care of malnourished children or at nutritional risk. The connection to the social support network varies and the program resources about food supplementation help in the family stability.

This study aims to present the application of the Method of Paulo Freire in a research with professionals of family health teams, users and community leaders about the use of the notion of health promotion. It describes how to obtain and analyze data in the Culture Circles performed in three phases: thematic research, coding /decoding and unveiling critical. This methodology contributed reflections of health practices of participants, allowing alternatives to transform them. The theoretical limits for their payment, among them the difficulty of deconstruction of the authoritarian conferred by the power of professional knowledge.

The objective of this bibliographic study is to identify the profile of Master’s Theses developed at the Federal University of Santa Catarina that make use of the Theory of Culture Care Diversity and Universality as a reference in their professional practice. The methodology involved 26 Master’s Theses, defended since 1990, including studies declared as care practice or convergent-care research. In order to analyze the profile of these studies, a schematic score containing the main characteristics to be observed was utilized. Descriptive analysis involved convergences and divergences among the data collected, with the actual theory under scrutiny as the interpretative basis. The results show that from 1990 until 2002 there was almost regularly one defense per year. The majority of the titles of the theses are related to the family and individual vital cycle. The most frequent locations of study were hospitals and maternity wards, later following the client to their domicile. As for the objects of the study, it was observed that there is a unanimous concern about valuing cultural care and integrating the participants in the therapeutic relationship. As a conclusion, it was determined that the profile of this production is relative in that which refers to the application of cultural care, and to show the state of the art in a significant portion of graduate work in the southern region of Brazil.

This study uses a comparative approach, as well as two already concluded ethnographies, to achieve its objective of identifying how families perceive their insertion into the overnight stay unit in a hospital and how they are perceived by the health care team, considering the rules and regulations of the institutional culture. The results obtained show that teams and families get closer or more distant depending on whether there's agreement or disagreement regarding the hospital's governing rules. Although families, in many situations, subject themselves to the regulations imposed by the hospital and the health care team, they also use individual and collective resistances in order to confront the regulatory mechanisms. The results contribute to increase the comprehension of this theme, both for the health care team and for the practice of family nursing, especially in the sense of recognizing the family as an active, responsible, and co-participatory unit within intra-hospital care.

Bibliographic study with the objective to identify and to analyze the master’s dissertations sustained at UFSC that had used Madeleine Leininger’s theory, raising its main characteristics, approaches and contrasts presented between the theory fundamentals and its operationalization. The data collection has begun in June 2006. Until now, the sample was characterized, the utilized concepts and its definitions were identified, as well as the methodological design. The next steps involve the correlation of the methodology with the theoretical framework, as well as the accomplishment of contrasts and approaches between the boarding theoretical-methodological approach utilized in the dissertations and the Leininger’s original proposal. Exploratory study with quanti-qualitative approach which aims to identify and to analyze the itinerary of low income families in the search for health care of children from 0 to 6 years of age, in two neighborhoods in the city of Florianópolis. The theoretical framework approaches the care system as a cultural system, identifying and analyzing the several care subsystems: popular, familiar and professional. After being approved by the ethics committee, the research is in the phase of data collection: interviews with mothers in different places as daycare centers, meetings of associations and churches.

This descriptive study investigates the routine of families with nursing infants ages between six months and two years old, involving working mothers users of a Basic Health Unit in a city in the South of Brazil. The theoretical discussion is based on the families' routine approach. A total of 25 mothers were interviewed through a semi-structured questionnaire. The qualitative data analysis followed the phases of organization, codification, categorization and interpretation. The findings suggest that childcare routines vary according to the periodicity, schedule and occupation of the mother. Different alternatives to childcare were identified, and although most of the women interviewed reported to be married, they almost did not mention the husband's participation in the routine. The investigation based on family routines allows the identification of family roles, the social relations and the health care organization. Por medio de este estudio descriptivo, con enfoque cualitativo se investigó las rutinas de familias con niños lactantes entre 06 meses a 02 años de edad, cuyas madres trabajaban y tenían como referencia un Servicio Básico de Salud de un municipio del sur del Brasil. Como fundamento teórico fueron utilizadas las rutinas familiares. Siendo entrevistadas 25 madres, por medio de un formulario semi estructurado. El análisis de los datos cualitativos fue realizado por medio de las fases de organización, codificación, categorización e interpretaciòn. Identificándose que los cuidados en las rutinas familiares varían con la periodicidad, el horario y el tipo de ocupación de la madre. Se identificaron diversas alternativas de cuidado brindado al niño y, a pesar de la gran mayoría de las entrevistadas ser casadas, no fue mencionado el esposo como coadyuvante en las rutinas. Esta investigación permitió identificar los roles familiares, las relaciones sociales y la organización de los cuidados a la salud. Através deste estudo descritivo, de abordagem qualitativa, investigou-se as rotinas de famílias com filhos lactentes de 6 meses a 2 anos, cujas mães enfrentam o mercado de trabalho e se utilizam de Unidade Básica de Saúde em um município do Sul do Brasil. Como referencial teórico, utilizou-se a abordagem das rotinas familiares. Foram entrevistadas 25 mães, através de formulário semi-estruturado. A análise dos dados qualitativos seguiu as fases de organização, codificação, categorização e interpretação dos dados. Identificou-se que as rotinas familiares de cuidado variam com a periodicidade, horário e tipo de ocupação da mãe. Foram identificadas diferentes alternativas de cuidado da criança e, apesar de grande parte das entrevistadas se considerarem casadas, quase não houve menção aos maridos na rotina. A investigação, baseada nas rotinas da família, possibilita identificar os papéis familiares, as relações sociais e a organização de cuidados na saúde.

Este articulo es el resultado de un trabajo desarrollado y presentado en una disciplina del Curso de Especializacion en Enfermeria en el Cuidado de la Familia, de la Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina, en el ano 2003. Tiene por objetivo mostrar la entrevista como un istrumento metodologico interesante para conocer la familia en la perspectiva del ciclo vital, asi como una estrategia que posibilite cuidar de la familia. Fue realizada una entrevista seme-estructutada, con una familia en fase de expansion, durante una visita a domicilio hecha por una enfermera de la comunidad donde se localiza la posta en la cual ella trabajaba. Fueron abordados aspectos relacionados con la estructura y dinâmica familiar, las rutinas y rituales cotidianos de la familia, el desempeno de los papeles familiares, el proceso de transicion de fase en la trayectoria familiar y tambien los rituales y rutinas de cuidados de la salud adoptados por la familia.

This work aims at clarifying the method of implementation of the negotiation/accommodation care preconized by Madeleine Leininger's theory concerning the Universality and Diversity of Care. The conceptual analysis technique is used as a tool to analyze the literature. It was verified that the concept of accommodation defines the idea of adaptation, of something passive, whilst in negotiation, each party commands resources and needs to be fulfilled. Among the different works which were analyzed and used Leininger's theory, only one showed to approach negotiation. As a conclusion, accommodation is considered to be different from negotiation, the former being more commonly seen in practice than the latter.

Com o recente aumento uso da tecnologia estereoscopica nas telas de cinema, alguns novos equipamentos eletronicos passaram a incorporar esta tecnologia. No entanto, a natureza narrativa do cinema difere da natureza hipermidiatica do conteudo de equipamentos como computadores e celulares. O presente trabalho busca, portanto, responder a pergunta “Qual a relevância da tecnologia estereoscopica para as hipermidias e como futuros trabalhos de pesquisa podem vir a contribuir para a construcao de conteudo hipermidiatico estereoscopico?” Para tanto foi feita uma revisao sistematica de literatura. Foram encontrados trabalhos nos contextos da Educacao, Medicina, Comunicacao e Entretenimento, Museologia e Interacao Homem-Maquina. Em nenhum dos trabalhos, no entanto, a estereoscopia foi isolada como variavel de pesquisa para avaliacao do diferencial da mesma para os referidos campos.

Pesquisa qualitativa descritiva-exploratória que teve por objetivo apresentar as atribuições dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde com famílias de crianças de zero a seis anos vinculadas a uma equipe da Estratégia de Saúde da Família, identificando as facilidades, dificuldades e dúvidas na sua execução. O local foi um território adstrito a uma unidade básica de saúde, utilizando as técnicas de observação nas visitas domiciliares, entrevista individual e oficina com um total de 15 agentes. Os dados categorizados foram discutidos à luz da Teoria Transcultural de Enfermagem e outros autores. Surgiram as categorias: o planejamento e coleta de dados nas visitas domiciliares; facilidades, dificuldades e dúvidas na visita domiciliar. Conclui-se que, ao se dar voz para os agentes, há possibilidades da troca de experiências e conhecimentos entre os sistemas popular e profissional de cuidado.

A obra compreende artigos abrangendo as principais problematicas associadas a formacao de aliancas tais como as transacoes, o processo de aprendizagem e o contexto das redes em que elas se constituem. O estudo diferencia-se de outros trabalhos pela sistematizacao dos artigos em funcao das dimensoes processuais e comportamentais do fenomeno da alianca. Ao final, os autores propoem uma agenda para o estudo dessas relacoes, apresentam os principais problemas metodologicos e fazem sugestoes de pesquisas futuras
