Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui implementasi media sosial WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19 pada pelajaran matematika siswa kelas V B SD Negeri 2 Palatiga. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang merupakan serangkaian kegiatan untuk mendapatkan data yang natural tanpa berada di bawah kondisi tertentu yang mengutamakan makna. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan penulis, yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data penulis menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dengan metode triangulasi dan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Implementasi media sosial WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19 pada pelajaran matematika yang dilakukan secara daring sudah terlaksana dengan baik sebagai media belajar utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran memuat kegiatan pembuka, inti, dan penutup. Adapun fitur yang sering digunakan ialah fitur foto, pesan suara, chat pribadi, Group WhatsApp, dokumen, dan telepon. Kemudahan dirasakan dengan kehadiran fitur WhatsApp dan juga penggunaannya yang mudah serta dapat digunakan oleh semua kalangan.

This study aims to determine the effect of Interbank Mudharabah Investment Certificates (SIMA) and Bank Indonesia Syariah Certificates (SBIS) on Liquidity in Islamic Commercial Banks partially and to determine the effect of SIMA and SBIS on Liquidity in Islamic Commercial Banks simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of financial ratios based on time series. The data used is monthly data. The results of this study indicate that SIMA has no effect on liquidity at Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2016-2019 period, SBIS has no effect on liquidity in Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2016-2019 period, SIMA and SBIS have no simultaneous effect on liquidity in Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2016-2019 period.

In a conversation, it definitely requires a principle of cooperation, so that the speech partner can understand what the speaker is saying. However, often between speakers or their interlocutors violate conversations which can result in a violation of the principle of cooperation. So that this research was made with the aim of knowing the implementation and violation of the cooperative principle contained in the Stand-Up Comedy Season 2 conversation. note in the process of data collection stage. As a result, the researcher found several utterances that implemented or violated the cooperative principle in a conversation on the Stand-Up Comedy Season 2. The results were in the form of three conversations which were maxims of quality (one utterance did not violate the maxim of quality and two utterances violated the maxim of quality). Two conversations of maxim of quantity (one utterance violates and one utterance does not violate maxim of quantity). Three conversations are maxims of relevance (two utterances do not violate and one utterance violates maxims of relevance). Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang bai’ataini fi bai’ah sebagai salah satu model hybrid contract yang dilarang dalam Islam melalui hadis Rasulullah yang tegas pelarangannya. Dari penafsiran ulama tentang maksud bai’ataini fi bai’ah ditemukan model pemahaman yang beragam tentang makna, model dan bentuknya, namun mengerucut pada dua‘illat pelarangan yaitu adanya gharar dan riba. Makalah ini mengemukakan bahwa ada pendapat yang lebih longgar untuk menghindari bai’ataini fi bai’ah sehingga model penggabungan transaksi kontemporer yang dibutuhkan seiring perkembangan zaman bisa dilaksanakan tanpa melanggar syari’at Islam

Although Mount Merapi is the most active volcano in Java Island, many people still opt to stay there, with most of them working as farmers. This study aimed to analyze the food security of farmers living in the Mount Merapi area. A total of 303 farmers from four different surrounding areas in Mount Merapi were randomly interviewed, and the factors that affect their food security were determined. The findings indicated that Glagaharjo has the highest mean score for food availability variable; it seems effected by the farmers that have livelihood diversification such as sand miner. With regard to food utilization, rice and vegetables are commonly consumed. Farm size has a significant effect on food availability and food utilization. Effort to increase the farm size is less likely possible, therefore other effort such as controlling the number of family member through family planning program can be implemented to support food security in the study area. People, especially farmers, who live in the hazardous areas in Mount Merapi seem to be unwilling to leave their current lives.

Mount Semeru is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia and the highest mountain in Java Island. Although the island is prone to volcanic eruptions, it is densely populated and also home to several farmers. The aim of this study is to analyze the strategies for overcoming farmers’ lives in Mount Semeru. This study involves 150 farmers who were randomly selected from terrains located at altitudes between 6 and 10 km in Mount Semeru. This study shows that farmers benefit significantly from the fertile lands resulting from volcanic eruptions. And they are highly motivated to engage in mitigation activities to reduce the impacts of eruption; therefore, they tend to participate in mitigation education or programs organized by government or private institutions. Support with the information and financial access regarding any mitigation strategies can help farmers a lot. Coordination among stakeholders to support mitigation strategies is necessary because all the parties are equally responsible for alleviating the impacts of volcanic eruptions. Any strategies for overcoming farmers’ lives in volcano areas also can be supported by community resilience.

The danger of landslides still threatens several areas in Indonesia, including in Kuningan Regency. One of the areas that is prone to landslides is located in Kuningan Regency, which is part of several districts in West Java which have a high level of landslide events. This area has a relatively small area compared to regencies in other West Java regions. As many as 28 sub-districts with an area of approximately 32,922.586 hectares or around 27.5 percent of the district's area are potential areas for landslides. Based on the geological and geographical conditions, the area in Kuningan Regency has a high level of vulnerability to landslides. High rainfall is the dominant cause that affects landslides in the study area. There are points where landslides occur due to steep slopes, soil types that are prone to erosion and are very sensitive to humid/wet rainfall and geological conditions. With this landslide vulnerability map, it is hoped that it can be used as an anticipation to avoid areas that are prone to landslides. Mitigation efforts from the local government in tackling the risk of landslides by designing environmental arrangements such as building retaining walls on slopes and closing rails that have the potential for landslides to occur

Sukarame merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang ada di Kota Bandar Lampung dengan kepadatan penduduk yang tergolong tinggi. Secara administrasi pada tahun 2020, di wilayah Kecamatan Sukarame terdapat 6 kelurahan, 118 RT dan 12 lingkungan berdasarkan data dari kantor Kecamatan Sukarame. Jumlah penduduk di Kecamatan Sukarame yaitu, 66.124 jiwa. Kebutuhan akan tempat tinggal akan meningkat setiap tahunnya, namun tidak dibarengi dengan lahan pemukiman yang tersedia. Terbatasnya lahan pemukiman mendorong terjadinya perubahan penggunaan lahan dan penurunan kualitas lingkungan. Saat ini teknologi penginderaan jauh sudah semakin canggih, sehingga dapat mendeteksi sebaran vegetasi pada suatu wilayah, pola sebaran vegetasi, kerapatan vegetasi serta luas vegetasi. Indeks vegetasi digunakan untuk menggambarkan intensitas tanaman pada suatu wilayah pada citra. Indeks vegetasi yang banyak digunakan adalah NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index). Jumlah Ground Control Point (GCP) yang digunakan sebanyak 30 titik dengan rincian masing-masing 10 titik wilayah lahan terbuka dengan titik berwarna merah, vegetasi rendah dengan titik berwarna kuning dan vegetasi sedang dengan titik berwarna hijau. Pada tahun 2000 lahan yang memiliki vegetasi masih cukup banyak, namun pada tahun 2020 akibat meningkatnya lahan terbuka menyebabkan berkurangnya jumlah vegetasi. Untuk hasil yang didapat dari groundcek, terdapat beberapa lokasi yang kurang akurat sehingga tingkat keakuratan lokasi pada peta tutupan lahan tahun 2020 sebesar 93,3%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah 1). penggunaan media film pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Buton Tengah dapat meningkatkan keefektifan guru dalam pembelajaran IPS?; 2). penerapan media film pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Buton Tengah dapat meningkatkan Aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS?; 3). Penerapan media film pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Buton Tengah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS?. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Buton Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 3 siklus, yang diawali dengan pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran secara kolaboratif antaraguru mata pelajaran IPS dengan peneliti, kemudian rencana kegiatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media film, agar keefektifan guru dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Oleh karena itu perlu untuk memperhatikan hal-hal berikut: Setelah selesai pembelajaran dalam satu siklus diadakan refleksi yaitu pembahasan berbagai permasalahan yang timbul untuk dicari pemecahannya serta diterapkan pada siklus berikutnya. Pada akhirnya ditemukan satu model pembelajaran yang paling sesuai untuk mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Hasil penelitian tindakan ini menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan yang cukup signifikan pada motivasi belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPS. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat diterapkan oleh guru mata pelajaran IPS yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi sekolah masing-masing serta pada materi-materi pelajaran yang sesuai agar lebih menarik.

Sekam merupakan salah satu bentuk limbah pertanian. Pemanfaatan limbah sekam untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan yang dihasilkan padi tergolong masih sangat rendah. Rendahnya pemanfaatan limbah sekam ini diakibatkan karena rendahnya pengetahuan serta keterampilan masyarakat terkait pengolahan limbah tersebut. Salah satu bentuk pengelolaan limbah sekam yang baik adalah dengan pembuatan arang sekam yang memiliki nilai jual dan bermanfaat bagi lahan usahatani. Perlunya kegiatan yang difokuskan untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pemanfaatan dari arang sekam, bagaimana mengubah limbah sekam padi menjadi arang sekam yang mempunyai nilai jual serta diharapkan dapat memberikan penghasilan tambahan bagi para petani di kelompok tani Sido Makmur Pekon Bulurejo, Kecamatan Gadingrejo, Kabupaten Pringsewu Provinsi Lampung. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan mensosialisasikan manfaat serta cara membuat arang sekam kepada para petani. Petani diberikan contoh alat sederhana untuk proses pembakaran padi menjadi arang sekam petani diberikan kesempatan untuk mempraktikkan langsung pengolahan sekam menjadi arang. Melalui berbagai kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani terkait pemanfaatan limbah sekam padi menjadi arang sekam yang memiliki nilai jual dan dapat memberi manfaat lebih pada usahatani yang dilakukan. Peningkatan yang terjadi adalah sebesar >50 persen dari pengetahuan dan keterampilan awal petani.

This study aims to evaluate the adsorption isotherm of carbon microparticles prepared from pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima) seeds for adsorbing curcumin (as a model of dye). The results were derived and compared using the kinetics approach based on several standard adsorption isotherm models, namely the Langmuir, Temkin, Freundlich, and Dubinin-Radushkevich models. The second aim is to evaluate the effects of carbon particle size (from 100 to 1000 mm) on the adsorption characteristics. The experimental results showed that the adsorption on the surface of carbon microparticles occurred in monolayer with a physical phenomenon. This is because the active areas are located only on the outer surface of carbon and no surface structure in the carbon is available. This is confirmed by the fact that the produced carbon has less porosity and the pores themselves are mostly produced from the release of inorganic contents during carbon synthesis, while the amount of inorganic content is very less. The confirmation of the adsorption profile was also achieved by testing various sizes of carbon microparticles. Smaller particles have direct impacts on the improvement of adsorption capacity, which is due to the existence of a larger surface area, a larger number of adsorption sites, and additional cooperative adsorption, i.e. adsorbate-adsorbate interaction. Understanding the adsorption phenomena occurring on carbon particles is useful for further developments and applications, such as those of catalysts and adsorbents, especially concerning the production of carbon materials from organic waste.

This study analyzed the functions of shifting (phenomenon of legal pluralism) and identified forest conversion at Production Forest Management Unit of Dharmasraya (PFMU Dharmasraya), West Sumatra, Indonesia from March 2018 to December 2019 using a qualitative research design with a case study approach. The identification of changes in forest cover analyzed by satellite images using the NDVI method to obtain the distribution of forest cover. Discussion on legal pluralism were examined using a non-ethnographic qualitative research approach through interviews with local communities, companies/permit holders, and related institutions (government). From 2000 to 2019, the PFMU Dharmasraya forest area reduced from 86 to 12%, and plantations increased from 10 to 81% of the total area of 33,539 ha. The legal pluralism of forest ownership occurs because local communities use traditional law, claiming the PFMU Dharmasraya area as Ulayat land. In contrast, the government claims the forest belongs to the state. The motives for the conversion of forest functions are the expansion of oil palm and rubber plantations, forest clearing to mark forest ownership rights, and illegal logging.

Natar District is one of the districts in South Lampung Regency which has an area of 213.77 km2 or around 21,377 HA. In the agricultural sector, most of the land in Natar District is dominated by maize and paddy fields. This study aims to determine changes in land use in 2002, 2009 and 2019 in Natar District, South Lampung Regency. This study uses imagery from Landsat 7 and 8 processed in the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) method with the formula "NDVI = (NIR-RED) / (NIR + RED)". After processing the data, field observations were made to 30 sample points which were spread evenly throughout the Natar District. In this study, the results showed that land conversion to open land increased every year, on the other hand the area of land with low to moderate vegetation density decreased every year. In field observations, it was found that various land uses ranging from settlements, markets, and various uses for agricultural and plantation land. Open land in Natar District in 2019 increased by 32.7% from 2002, on the other hand, low and moderate vegetation land has decreased by 32.5% and 12.5% respectively since 2002. The government must tighten environmental regulations regarding land which can be converted or not. If population growth becomes uncontrolled, the conversion of agricultural land functions increases, it will be impossible for Indonesia to realize national food security

Shallot is one of important horticultural crops in Indonesia; shallot consumption per capita is estimated to be 4.6 kg per year. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of combining biofertilizer and organic fertilizer on the production of shallot in Sukabanjar village, Pesawaran, Lampung, Indonesia. The study was set up using a randomized completely block design with two factors, biofertilizers and various organic fertilizers, i.e. cow manure, chicken manure, rice straw compost, oyster mushroom baglog. Our study demonstrated that combining biofertilizer and organic fertilizer significantly increased the number, diameter, and fresh and dry weight of tubers of “Bima Brebes” shallot. Shallots treated with biofertilizer combined with oyster mushroom baglog produced the highest tuber yield of 1788 g compared to 282 g in the control. The environmental impact assessment (EIA) follow-up program that involved an indigenous community can verify the effectiveness of a project's mitigation measure. This research is a case study of Indonesia's nickel smelter that examines community perceptions on executing programs listed in the environmental impact statement (EIS). We used bivariate regression models to explore the link between the perceived sustainable programs and subset socio-demographic variables at the individual level. The questionnaire survey (n = 370) indicated that community views underscored the implementation of programs on environmental dimensions; however, they were satisfied with the programs’ results on economic and social dimensions. The respondents’ job background was consistently a top-ranked and positively tied to the respondents’ opinions on the effectiveness of programs. Overall, the study provides insights into how the community's feedback for the EIA follow-up may lead to benefits regarding the project's corrective actions as well as provide inputs to the government to decide relevant permits, contracts, or other legally binding documents.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif al-Qur’an melalui kisah-kisahnya terdiri dari: Pertama, tujuan pendidikan karakter. Sasaran dari tujuan pendidikan karakter di sini ialah pembentukan insan kamil serta pembinaan akhlak. Kedua, nilai-nilai dasar pendidikan karakter, seperti: tidak sombong, cita-cita yang kuat, bersungguh-sungguh dalam mencari ilmu, sopan santun, tolong-menolong, sabar, pemaaf, tanggung jawab, ikhlas, tidak mudah putus asa, berani mengakui kesalahan, cinta Tuhan dan segenap ciptaan-Nya, syukur, tidak boleh syirik, kasih sayang, patuh kepada kedua orang tua, kepemimpinan dan kepedulian sosial. Ketiga, tahapan-tahapan pendidikan karakter melalui pendidikan akhlak, pendidikan aqidah dan pendidikan syari’ah.

Waste management is one of the criteria for the evaluation of Green campus and sustainable university. Organic waste takes place in concern because of the domination of waste in university, such as food waste and dry leaves waste. Mismanagement in dry leaves will promote the campus area to look dirty. One method to control the dry leaves waste is the vermicomposting process. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the macronutrient content of dry leaves compost after the vermicomposting process. The research was conducted in the Faculty of Civil engineering and Planning, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Yogyakarta. The vermicompost sample in this study refers to the quality standards according to SNI 19-7030-2004 regarding compost quality standards. The results of vermicompost content value are obtained on day 56 is Phosphor amounting to 0.194%, amounting to 0.129% Potassium, and C / N ratio of 7.73. From the data that has been obtained can be concluded that the results of vermicompost are less effective as organic compost compared to the standards.

Dengan kata lain, data mentah dari berbagai literatur akan ditelaah analisis oleh peneliti agar dapat dilaporkan hasil penelitiannya sebagai sumber rujukan bagi pemerhati maupun pecinta pendidikan. adapun metode analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti ialah content analysis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa proses pembelajaran yang diterapkan Nabi Muhammad SAW lebih menekankan pada pembelajaran tauhid dan hafalan al-Qur’an. Pendidikan yang dijalankan Nabi Muhammad SAW melalui dua periode, yaitu periode Makkah dan Madinah. Sedangkan strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh Rasullah SAW ialah: Tanya jawab dalam bidang keimanan dengan penghayatan, demontrasi dan keteladanan dalam materi ibadah dan akhlak. Sedangkan strategi pembelajaran yang dikemas melalui dakwah ialah: sembunyi-sembunyi dan perorangan, terang-terangan, dan umum.

irga is a unique traditional justice system, the word “JIRGA” in Shina (local language) means Arbitration in English. Its employees a process of dispute settlement with the intervention of notables of the society followed by the free consent of the disputing parties. This study was carried out to study the structure and functioning of Jirga system. Researcher adopted the purposive sampling technique and collects the data from 36 respondents; area of the study was Haramosh Gilgit-Baltistan. Study focus the Jirga system and its implications; researcher designed the questioner to investigate the validity and accountability of Jirga system. Study defines the merits and demerits of Jirga system.

Climate change has caused production declines and crop failures in some agricultural commodities. This study aims to identify the level of knowledge, adaptation practices, and types of protective trees used by coffee farmers in dealing with climate change. The research was carried out in Rigis Jaya Village, West Lampung District from May to July 2021. The number of respondents was 80 coffee farming households. Respondents were determined through a simple random sampling approach. The data collected consists of qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection was carried out through the survey method. The results of the study illustrate that coffee farmers have realized that climate change has occurred. 60% of coffee farmers are aware of climate change in the last 1-5 years and 20% of coffee farmers are more than 5 years old. From mitigation practices, 25% of coffee farmers mitigate climate change. Climate change mitigation practices carried out by farmers are through the use of superior coffee varieties, planting shade trees, setting coffee spacing, making vents, and utilizing the remaining coffee husks to increase soil fertility and moisture. There are 14 types of shade trees planted by farmers consisting of legumes and non-legume trees. Petai (Parkia speciosa) is the most widely planted shade tree in coffee plantations with 45% of the total respondents.

The industrial revolution 4.0 has brought tourism trends using enriched interactive technology services. Technology in the world of tourism has helped the expansion of the industry through the promotion and mediation of independent tourists to carry out all services and transactions easily, including obtaining tourist information. This study aims to develop promotion media for geography education tourism in Soppeng Regency and test the effectiveness of the media. This study adopted the Alessi & Trollip learning multimedia development model. The developed media was tested on 20 respondents with 10-item usability scale statements and 5 response options ranging from agreeing to strongly disagree. The level of effectiveness of the media developed after being tested using the usability scale (SUS) system is included in the Good category (good) with an average score of 76.5. This level of effectiveness is included in the acceptable to users or acceptable category, with a grade scale of C and an adjective rating in the Good or good category. The results of this study also indicate that users are satisfied with the developed media but are not enthusiastic so that users can switch to other, more interesting media at any time. In the end, based on the final score obtained, it was concluded that the promotion media for geography education tourism in Soppeng Regency (battle city application) was effective and acceptable to users.

The results of this research showed that the community's views on kiai's leadership turned out to provide positive responses and meanings. This is certainly influenced by the skills of the kiai in managing Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittihad, caring about the interests of the community, and their participation in social society. The kiai’s leadership practice appear in the clear and structured division of tasks, tolerance and full trust. So that boarding school (pesantren) officials like the leadership style of kiai because kiai are also very skilled in applying different leadership models according to situations and conditions. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penarik dan pendorong deforestasi hutan di wilayah Kerja Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan Produksi (KPHP) Dharmasraya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Januari hingga Juli 2017. Lokasi penelitian berada di KPHP Dharmasraya, Sumatera Barat. Secara administrasi KPHP Dharmasraya terletak di Kecamatan Pulau Punjung dan Koto Besar, Kabupaten Dhamasraya, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. KPHP Dharmasraya memiliki wilayah kerja dengan luas sekitar 33.550 ha. Kawasan KPHP Dharmasraya merupakan hutan sekunder yang wilayahnya berbatasan dengan kawasan pemukiman penduduk. Pengumpulan data mengkombinasikan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data seperti wawancara key informant, observasi lapangan/transek, homestay di dalam hutan dan analisis data sekunder. Jumlah informan kunci yang diwawancarai sebanyak 34 informan. Metode penelitian menggunakan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Faktor penarik deforestasi hutan di KPHP Dharmasraya meliputIsifat ekonomi dan institusi sumberdaya hutan, serta mudahnya akses dan topografi hutan yang landai. Faktor pendorong masyarakat melakukan penebangan hutan meliputi adalah kebutuhan ekonomi/lapangan kerja melalui pembukaan hutan untuk lahan perkebunan dan sumber pendapatan, pembukaan untuk menandai hak milik, serta Setelah hutan ditebang kemudian ditinggalkan, dan faktor lainnya adalah tingginya kebutuhan kayu dan nilai (harga) kayu sehingga masyarakat menebang kayu (illegal logging) di dalam hutan yang pada akhirnya menyebabkan deforestasi hutan.

Produksi nanas mengalami penurunan. Rendahnya produksi nanas diakibatkan karena rendahnya hara tersedia. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan hara dalam tanah perlu dilakukan penambahan kompos kotoran sapi. Namun bahan baku dari kompos kotoran sapi sangatlah sedikit. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penambahan limbah cair nanas yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keterdiaan hara dalam tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Great Giant Pineapple. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2017 hingga bulan Mei 2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan. Masing-masing perlakuan dilakukan ulangan sebanyak 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan dari penelitian ini antara lain K0 (0 t ha-1 Kompos Kotoran Sapi + 0 L ha-1 Limbah Cair Nanas), K1(Pemupukan SBT (Standar Budidaya Tanam Nanas menggunakan pupuk kimia), K3L1 (20 t ha-1 Kompos Kotoran Sapi + 10.000 L ha-1 Limbah Cair Nanas), K3L2 (20 t ha-1 Kompos Kotoran Sapi + 15.000 L ha-1 Limbah Cair Nanas) dan K3L3 (20 t ha-1 Kompos Kotoran Sapi + 20.000 L ha-1 Limbah Cair Nanas). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kompos kotoran sapi 20 t ha-1 dan limbah cair nanas 20.000 L ha-1 memiliki ketersediaan hara tanah lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya setelah dilakukan penanaman tanaman nanas di 60 HST (Hari Setelah Tanam). Sehingga pemberian limbah cair nanas mampu meningkatkan ketersediaan hara dalam tanah dan dapat memberikan substrat bagi mikroorganisme untuk proses dekomposisi bahan organik.

Land cover change occurs naturally, but in urban areas, Land cover change usually occurs more rapidly than in rural areas. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse Land cover changes using spatial data to determine Land cover changes that occurred in urban areas such as Bandar Lampung City in 2000 and 2020. This study uses Landsat 7 and 8 imagery processed by the NVDI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) analysis method with an arithmetic formula to determine the vegetation index NDVI = (NIR-RED) / (NIR + RED). After obtaining the land cover map from the results of the NDVI analysis, a ground check was carried out at 30 location points to determine the actual condition of the field and calibrate the data from NDVI analysis and actual condition. In this study, it was found that the results of Land cover from 2000 to 2020 experienced changes, namely in open land/settlements increased by 74% or 217 ha, shrub land decreased by 27% or 32 ha, low vegetation land decreased by 4.8% or 7 ha, and vegetation land is decreasing by 72.5% or 100 ha. Based on the results of ground checks, changes in Land cover are caused by the construction of settlements, housing, and industrial estates due to an increase in population and urban growth.

An assessment of the forest health condition needs to be carried out to ensure that the condition of mangrove forest health is maintained. Margasari Village is where the average community works as fishermen and utilizes the mangrove forest as ecotourism. Therefore, the condition of the mangrove forest needs to be in good condition. This research was conducted in Margasari Village, Labuhan Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency. This study aims to obtain the value of mangrove forest health status and determine the relationship between mangrove forest health indicators and community welfare. Research methods to determine the value of forest health status using Forest Health Monitoring (FHM). SPSS 20 statistical spearman rank correlation test was used to determine the relationship between mangrove forest health and community welfare, with 44 respondents using village communities who operate mangrove forests. The results showed that the average value of mangrove forest health status in Margasari Village was 5.40 (moderate category). Indicators of the level of community welfare related to the health level of mangrove forests in Margasari Village are health and nutrition, education, and indicators of housing and environment.

This study aims to determine farmers' perceptions of climate change on pepper productivity in East Lampung Regency and Sukadana Baru Village, Marga Tiga District, East Lampung Regency, from March to April 2020. The research method used is survey method. The research population is 433 pepper farmers. in Sukadana Baru Village. The number of samples in this study were 108 people. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results show that climate change causes changes in temperature, changes in rainfall, changes in production so that it has an impact on changes in pepper productivity. Changes in temperature that occur in the study area are indicated by the percentage of respondents of 51.85%. Meanwhile, 30.56% of respondents stated that there was no change in temperature in the study area. Rainfall experienced a change with the percentage of respondents amounting to 75.00%, while the rest considered it unchanged with a percentage of 7.41% and 17.59% stating they did not know. Most of the farmers stated that their production had decreased by 75.93%. farmers answered they don't know with a percentage of 63.89%, this situation occurs because most farmers rarely calculate the amount of productivity. Only 20.37% of respondents answered that there was a change in productivity due to climate change.

Compost is an organic matter commonly used to improve the chemical and physical properties of soil, especially of marginal soil, where the limiting factors of the soil fertility are the lack of organic matter and low soil pH. One aim of this study is to determine the effect of compost application on the improvement of the chemical and physical properties of acid soils planted with pineapple. Another aim of this study is to determine the effect of compost in reducing the foliar fertilizer and the influence of this reduction on the pineapple yield. A factorial experiment was arranged in a randomized block design with two factors and three replications. The first factor was the rate of compost application with the following treatments: K0: no compost, K25: compost 25 t ha-1 and K50: compost 50 t ha-1, while the second factor was the reduction of foliar chemical fertilizer with the following treatments: P100: 100% of the standard fertilizer, P80: 80% of the standard fertilizer and P60: 60% of the standard fertilizer. The total combined treatments, i.e., nine treatments, consisted of K0P100, K0P80, K0P60, K25P100, K25P80, K25P60, K50P100, K50P80 and K50P60 with three replications. The results showed that the compost could improve the chemical and physical properties of acid soils, and the application of the compost dose of 25 t ha-1 enabled a reduction of foliar chemical fertilizer by 40% with no loss in yield. Planting in red acid soils, widely distributed in Indonesia, is generally related to limited crop productivity due to their initially low nutrient-supplying potential and soil erosion. Dolomite is commonly used to raise the soil pH in acid soils in Indonesia, where it has been beneficial as a fertilizer comprising calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg). Compost is also commonly used to improve the chemical and physical properties of these soils. To prepare a piece of land to be cultivated as a pineapple plantation, dolomite and compost are applied to improve the soil properties and to decrease the aluminum toxicity. A greenhouse-scale experiment was conducted in this study to determine the patterns of changes in the soil nutrients due to dolomite and compost applications during the land preparation which generally takes 12 weeks. The experiment was done with soil incubation in a polybag, and the aim was to learn the effects of the dolomite and compost applications on increasing the soil pH, the availability of nutrients, and the decrease in exchangeable aluminum (Al) in the soil. The results showed that the applications of dolomite and compost could significantly increase the soil pH. The patterns of changes in the soil nutrients, such as Ca and Mg, showed strongly positive correlations with changes in the soil pH, but a good relationship was not seen for K and Na. The exchangeable Al in the soil showed a good quadratic correlation with the soil pH and decreased as the soil pH increased due to the applications of dolomite and compost.

Erosion is one of problem threatens the soil resource caused soil degradation. Applying the ridges system and organic fertilizer contributes to suppressing runoff and erosion. This study aims to determine the effect of applying different ridges system and the organic fertilizer on the runoff, soil erosion, nutrients loss of soil, nutrient enrichment ratio, starch content, growth, and yield of cassava on 12.5% slope land. The research was conducted at the field experiment, University of Lampung, under a humid tropical climate. This study used a Randomized Complete Block Design, which was arranged factorially with two factors, ridges system and organic fertilizer (organonitrofos) and four replications. Factor one is consists of G1 (ridges in the same direction with the slope) and G2 (ridges in the opposite direction with the slope), while factor two is consists of P0 (Organonitrofos 0 tons/ha) and P1 (Orgononitrofos 20 tons/ha). The results showed that the application of the ridges in the opposite direction with the slope significantly reduces the runoff 42.63%, soil erosion 61.68%, and suppress nutrient loss of N-total by 61.85%, P-available by 57.92%, K-total by 80.41% and C-organic by 61.22%, compared to ridges in the same direction with the slope. However, ridges systems do not give a significant difference to starch content, growth, and cassava yield. Physical obstacles formed by ridges in the opposite direction with the slope will force water to infiltrate into the soil so that the runoff rate, erosion, and nutrients loss can be reduced significantly. In reverse, the organic fertilizers do not affect all variables. The ridges system and the organic fertilizer did not significantly affect the starch content, growth, and yield of cassava. That caused by the application of synthetic fertilizers at the same dose (standard dose for planting cassava) in each experimental unit that fertilizer already enough to grow optimally.

Each year, the population in Kalianda subdistrict, Lampung province keeps increasing. The increase in population means that the need for living space also increasing, this can lead to land cover conversion from a vegetation area to a residential area. To find how much the change in land conversion over the year, a spatial analysis over the period of 18 years was needed. So that it is expected to be able to manage spatial planning to cope with disasters in Indonesia. This research uses Landsat 7 and 8 images that have been calculated using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) method. The results show that between 2010 - 2019, there is an increase in land cover changes in open land/house/building/no vegetation around 814 ha (6.9%), in low vegetation increase 975 ha (8.4%). However, in the medium vegetation was decreasing around 1123 ha (9.5%). Overall observation sample of the ground check is following the actual condition of land cover in Kalianda Sub-district. The data show that in the Kalianda subdistrict, land management is necessary to suppress land cover changes so that it won’t lead to environmental disasters

Human being could be considered a topic of discussion which is never completed. Therefore, this study will focus more on the concept of human in the perspective of Ibn Sina and al-Ghazali. In the perspective of Ibn Sina the essence of human being is composed of two elements, namely the body (jism) and soul (nafs). These two elements are really different from the ones found in animals and plants. The presence of soul (nafs) is its manifestation. While the body (jism) a tool for nafs. In addition, there is also a strong relationship between the jism and the nafs. Nafs will never achieve a phenomenal stage without the body. When this phenomenal stage is reached, then the nafs will rule the body. Meanwhile, according to al-Gazali the essence of human is composed of several elements, such as: al-nafs, al-ruh, al-qalb, and al-'aql. These four elements have their own function and role, but are mutually complementary parts in shaping the human personality so-called Insan Kamil. The difference of faculties possessed by human is what makes human being the noblest in the sight of Allah. The purpose of human life is to achieve happiness. Education could be considerably successful for being capable of organizing the learning process in producing quality individuals. Thus, in order to produce the quality individuals, then teachers should be able to cultivate a variety of potential possessed by each student as a human being. In the developing country or poor country difficult to access meteorological data such as air temperature, it's caused by the limitation of equipment or funding. Air temperature is one of the meteorological data commonly used to predict evaporation or to understanding climatic condition in a specific location. Nowadays from satellite data can estimate some meteorological data. But the detail of explanations about how to get and how to use satellite data is limited and difficult to adopt for beginners. This paper explains how to get MODIS LST data to estimate air temperature data study case in Gifu City, Japan. The results show data from MODIS LST is higher than data from the local meteorological station for day time and lower for night time, but still can use because the pattern is similar. Mean of maximum air temperature and minimum air temperature can be used as daily average air temperature. MOD11A2 product data was better than MYD11A2 data to predict air temperature. MODIS LST data can be used for untouched areas like desert or forest.

This study aims to utilize the combination of cassava and coal waste as raw materials for making briquettes using several different concentrations of tapioca adhesives. This study uses a completely randomized design (RDC) with 2 factorials. The first factor is material composition, assigned by the letter P, which has 3 different varieties of different cassava, which are (P1) Kasetsart cassava and coal waste, (P2) Thai cassava and coal waste, and (P3) butter cassava and coal waste. The second factor is tapioca adhesive concentration, which consists of two different treatments: (M1) 15% and (M2) 20%. The combination of these different treatments then repeated 4 times resulted in 24 experimental units. The briquettes produced then underwent several characteristics tests, including water content, calorific value, combustion rate, density, compressive strength, shatter resistance index, and changes in the temperature of the pan base when the briquettes were burned. The acquired data then processed using Microsoft Excel 2010 and SAS v9 software. The data obtained will then be compared to SNI (Indonesia National Standard) to find out whether the briquette is fulfilling the requirement for application. The results are as follows: treatment P1M1 and P1M2 have a water content ranging from 5.36-7.09% and a calorific value between 4.427 – 5.541 cal/g, and it also fulfills the SNI Standard. Another characteristic is shown by P1M1 and P1M2 such as combustion rate around 0.37-0.4 g/min, density between 0.37-0.39 g/cm3, compressive strength between 48.67 N/cm2, and shatter resistance index numbering around 99.90-99.92%, able to fulfill 95% of the SNI requirement for bio coal briquette, as well as changes in the bottom temperature of the pan which has reached the highest temperature of 303°C in the 26th minute of the P1M1 treatment combination and the lowest is 311°C at the 28th minute of the P1M2 treatment combination.

The provision of community-based drinking water and sanitation (PAMSIMAS) is one of the programs implemented by the government to address environmental sanitation problems. This study aims to analyze the success strategy of the PAMSIMAS Program, which is measured based on the success indicators of the PAMSIMAS Program. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach method in Sidodadi Village Way, Lima District in 2020. In this research used the snowball sampling technique. This technique is useful for finding, identifying, selecting and taking samples in a network or chain of relationships. Snowball sampling technique has strengths and weaknesses in its application. Field research housing sector become the case study to explain this sampling technique. The analysis used in this study is a SWOT analysis. The results shows that still have obstacles in several aspects such as the willingness of the community to participate in the form of input and ideas is still low, coordination between agencies has not been going well, there is no legal protection for water sources in order to maintain quality and quantity. The SWOT analysis used aims to formulate a strategic plan so that the PAMSIMAS Program can be sustainable in the fulfillment of clean water. The results of this study are the identification of the position of the PAMSIMAS. Program after the EFAS and IFAS calculations are carried out based on interviews that have been distributed to the implementers of the PAMSIMAS program, and then proceed with recommendations for priority strategies that will be carried out for the development of the PAMSIMAS Program.

Indonesia’s population is increasing every year, so many household needs need to be met. As a result, a lot of household waste has accumulated in FDS (Final Disposal Sites). This condition is very disturbing to the health of the people living around the FDS. Therefore it is necessary to compost household waste which can minimize the pile of garbage in the FDS. One of the methods is using BSF larvae. BSF (Black Soldier Fly) larvae are larvae that can consume various kinds of organic waste, such as household waste, quickly. The experimental results show that household waste compost has micronutrients that comply with Indonesian composting standards (SNI 19-7030-200). Micronutrient elements from household waste compost using BSF are Zink (60.55ppm), Manganese (36.55ppm), and Boron (12.07 ppm). Also, compost from household waste using BSF, the toxic elements cannot be detected, so it is safe to be applied as a nutrient for plants.

The processing of markets’ organic wastes in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta, is still done conventionally, that most of it, is directly composted at the Landfill or sometimes even directly dumped without going through the composting process. This research was conducted to maximize the processing of the organic waste that was generated by the local market, using continuous flow bin and vermicomposting to make it more economically beneficial to the community and to test the chemical parameters like Carbon / Nitrogen, Phosphor, and Potassium level from the vermicast, which is the after-product of vermicompost process. The research process goes through several stages: the acclimatization stage, the feeding stage or the vermicompost process, and the testing stage. Carbon/Nitrogen ratios, Phosphor, and Potassium values in the final results of the three reactors in the composting process meet the composting criteria according to SNI 19-7030-2004. The Carbon/Nitrogen measured in the three reactors were 10.2%, 16.6%, and 11.54%, respectively. The phosphorus levels (P) available in the three reactors were 0.32%, 0.35%, and 0.33%. Potassium (K) levels available in the three reactors were 0.26%, 0.58%, and 0.67%. The K values in reactors 2 and 3 meet the compost criteria or standards from SNI 19-7030-2004 because it is more than 0.20%, while for reactor 1 it is still below the criteria standard.

The development of livestock should be focusing on increasing productivity and maximizing profit and the environmental issue that happens around it. The produced waste can be managed by minimalizing the waste generated by turning it into something valuable or reutilizing it. One way to do it is by utilizing the waste as organic fertilizer (vermicompost). The vermicomposting process resulted in two products that are useful for agriculture; there are earthworm and vermicompost itself. Using the generated waste as growth media for the worm will result in an increased worm population, and the waste will be turned into vermicompost. The earthworm species that will be used in this study is Pheretima sp. This study purpose is to reduce the contamination by the waste generated by livestock, and other purposes are to find out whether the nutrient content in the waste is up to standard and the roles of the earthworm used. The samples were collected on days 30, 45, and 60. The result shows that the only nutrient that can meet the standard is potassium (> 0.2%), while carbon is slightly below standard and nitrogen and phosphor content are way below the standard. From the resulted nutrient content, it can be concluded that the role of Pheretima sp in the vermicomposting process was not optimal resulted in compost that below the Indonesian National Standard for compost.

At the end of 2018, the rare tsunami phenomenon had been occurring at Sunda strait, Indonesia. This tsunami happened without feeling a huge earthquake, so many people did not know if there was a tsunami. Tsunamis occur at night and cause casualties, missing people, and damage around the Sunda Strait (Banten and Lampung). Previously, the observation of the activities of Anak Krakatau Mountain had been carried out intensively. Data collection is done from various sources. A literature study was also conducted to strengthen existing observations. From observational data open source obtained from the Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) Indonesia, it was noted that earthquake activity by tectonic plates began in April 2018, while the intensity of the earthquake caused by increased activity of Anak Krakatau Mountain (AKM) began in June 2018. Eruptions and Tsunamis occurred on December 22, 2018. Although the alleged cause of the rare tsunami phenomenon has not been ascertained, the truth, from observations of satellite images and focus group discussions (FGD) from various society elements. Temporary allegations, the cause of the rare tsunami phenomenon is the AKM eruption, which makes the southwestern region of AKM island landslide of | 64 hectares to a layer below sea level. The impact that occurred after the tsunami has been reported by conducting surveys directly to locations on several beaches of Banten and Lampung. Damage that occurred around Banten and Lampung’s coast was caused by houses very close to the coastline. Whereas in other areas that did not experience severe damage due to 2 factors, there are small islands that block the tsunami wave and the presence of mangrove vegetation around the Sunda strait.

The rotational planting was applied as the result of decreasing the number of pineapple production. The decreased pineapple production is influenced by soil fertility measured from the chemical, physical, and biological aspects. This research was conducted to comprehend the potential of rotational planting. This research was conducted by taking samples from three different locations: PC pineapple (the first plant), RC Pineapple (Ratoon Plant), and bananas after harvest. Samples were taken at a depth of 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm. The research was conducted from November 2015 until February 2016 at Central Lampung. This research found that rotating the planting between the pineapple and the banana can improve soil fertility. After harvest, bananas’ location has soil pH, total nitrogen, C-organic, phosphorus available, and potassium available is higher if compared to PC pineapple and RC Pineapple location. This was based on the fact that the soil of the harvestable banana (4.74) has better pH compared to the two locations, PC pineapple (4.54) and RC pineapple (4.09). This resulted from a larger amount of dolomite given to the harvestable banana’s soil than those from the PCs and the RC’s. Its pH can also influence its OH- and other nutrients within the soil. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the soil of harvestable banana (ex-banana) has a better quality to increase the production of pineapples.

The aim of this study was to analyze the level of income, knowledge, and impact of climate change on fishing household. This research was conducted in Pekon Tegineneng, Limau Subdistrict, Tanggamus Regency. Limau Subdistrict is the center of marine capture fishery in Tanggamus Regency. Data collection was carried out from July to August 2020 with total respondent reached 80 fishing households. Respondents were determined through the approach of simple random sampling. The data collected consisted of both qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection was performed through the method of survey, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and interview with key informants. Data were analyzed by the qualitative descriptive approach. The level of monthly income and expenditure per fishing household amounted to Rp. 4,110,000 and Rp. 3,971,200, respectively. Knowledge level of fisherman about climate change was considered excellent as most fishermen have already known the phenomena of climate and environmental changes. The impact of climate change on fishing household included: difficulty to predict fishing season, change in fishing location (away from the shore), reducing and unpredictable fishing frequency and fishing time, also declining of fish catch.

Global warming is a gradual increase in the earth’s temperature due to greenhouse gas emissions. Climate change impacts various sectors and is very complicated because it covers various aspects of human life. In the marine sector, climate change promotes rising ocean temperature and sea levels, increasing the frequency and intensity of extreme weather. This study was aimed to: (1) analyze the impact of climate change on the business of processed fisheries in Tegineneng village, Limau subdistrict, Tanggamus Regency; (2) analyze adaptation strategies undertaken by fish processors in conducting business amid of climate change. This study employed a survey as the study method. Respondents in this study were traditional fish processing in Tanggamus Regency. The impact of climate change on processed fisheries products was analyzed by using descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. Climate change perceived by fish processors includes; the declined fish caught, uncertain fish harvest season, and further fishing area. The results showed that climate change impacted on the decreased processed products due to declined fish caught. Development strategies that need to be performed are diversification of processed products, improvement of processed product quality to prolong the product shelf life, and marketing network.
