En la producción comercial de cannabis medicinal, donde se restringe la aplicación de productos de síntesis química, la entomofauna asociada es un componente fundamental del funcionamiento del sistema productivo. Su caracterización contribuye a la generación de estrategias encaminadas al mejoramiento de la producción. Preservar estos especímenes identificados y curados, constituye un archivo histórico natural de múltiple utilidad. El objetivo de este trabajo fue recolectar, determinar y preservar especímenes de artrópodos asociados al sistema productivo de cannabis medicinal. Se recorrieron las áreas de propagación, producción, investigación y postcosecha de un cultivo bajo invernadero. Los métodos de captura utilizados fueron trampas de luz, pases con red entomológica, aspirador entomológico, trampas de caída perimetrales y captura manual de especímenes que se estuvieran alimentando de los tejidos vegetales de las plantas. Los estados larvales se criaron hasta el estado adulto para lograr su identificación. Se obtuvieron 240 especímenes pertenecientes a 8 órdenes, 36 familias y 73 especies de insectos. El mayor porcentaje correspondió a los órdenes Coleoptera e Hymenoptera. En Coleoptera, se determinaron especies pertenecientes a las familias Melolonthidae, Carabidae y Silphidae, entre otros. Adicionalmente, algunas familias de Hymenoptera como Braconidae, Ichneumonidae y Formicidae. Las especies son reportadas de acuerdo con sus roles alimenticios y/o funcionales como fitófagos, polinizadores, detritívoros, necrófagos, coprófagos, micófagos, antófagos, parasitoides, predadores e hiperparásitoides. Se reconocieron 6 grupos de insectos nocivos para el cultivo: salta hojas, ácaros, trips, áfidos de hoja y raíz, mosca del mantillo y lepidópteros defoliadores. Este trabajo constituye un avance significativo en la investigación relacionada con la entomofauna asociada al sistema productivo de Cannabis sativa en Antioquia, Colombia.

Nocardia is a genus of gram-positive, filamentous, aerobic bacteria that belongs to the Actinomycetales order. With over 50 species, it is ubiquitous in dust, soil, decaying organic matter, and stagnant water. Inhalation of the pathogen often leads to pulmonary nocardiosis, while extrapulmonary nocardiosis can affect the central nervous system, skin, and subcutaneous tissues. Primary cutaneous nocardiosis occurs when the pathogen is introduced through a skin lesion or insect bite, for example, this report presents a case of primary cutaneous nocardiosis in a patient with Minimal Change Glomerulonephritis and iatrogenic immunosuppression. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed extensive involvement of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and lower limb muscles.

In recent years, there has been a considerable increase in the number of image-guided interventional procedures performed for the management of acute and chronic pain. Concomitantly, there has also been an increase in the complication rate related to these procedures. The aim of this narrative review is to summarize the primary complications associated with commonly performed image-guided (fluoroscopic- or ultrasound-guided) interventional procedures. We conclude that although complications from interventional pain procedures can be mitigated to a certain degree, they cannot be eliminated altogether. In order to avoid adverse events, patient safety should be given considerable attention and physicians should be constantly aware of the possibility of developing complications.

Polydactyly, or hyperdactyly, is a frequent malformation, with a reported incidence between 0.37 and 1.2 per 1000 live births. Most cases encountered in medical practice are sporadic cases, usually presenting one-sided manifestations. More frequently, polydactyly can be detected prenatally through an ultrasound examination, if not, it is usually diagnosed at birth, during the first physical examination. Although the clinical diagnosis is relatively easy in patients with manifest cases, it can sometimes be present with mild or partial forms that are not clinically evident on physical examination, resulting in later diagnosis and treatment. We reported a particular case of polydactyly of the foot not clinically manifest, diagnosed in a 39-year-old Caucasian Male patient with a history of recurrent localized pain in the big toe often associated with subungual bleeding, since he was a child who came to our emergency room following a car accident. Polydactyly is a frequently reported congenital malformation which may present in many different varieties of deformities. In this case, the X-ray, which was required after a car accident, leads to the incidental diagnosis of polydactyly in an adult patient. As described, because of the functional limitations related to this malformation, as well as to limit recurrent pain, and subungual anomalies, the patient underwent to a surgical correction to improve its quality of life.

The purpose of this mathematical paper is to establish a qualitative research of the existence and uniqueness of the generalized solution to a non-homogeneous hyperbolic partial differential equation problema subject to the contour condition u = 0 over Σ, and with initial conditions u(x, 0) = u0(x) in Ω, ∂ut(x, 0) = u1(x) in Ω. In the development of the research, the deductive method of Faedo-Garleskin and Medeiro is used to demonstrate the existence of the generalized solution that consists in the construction of approximate solutions in a finite dimensional space, obtaining a succession of approximate solutions to the non-homogeneous hyperbolic problem, that is, by means of a priori estimations, these successions of approximate solutions are passed to limit in a suitable topology. Then the initial conditions are verified and the uniqueness of the generalized solution is proved.

Adenocarcinoma is preceded by chronic atrophic gastritis, gastric intestinal metaplasia and dysplasia. Trefoil factor 3 (TFF3) is a peptide secreted by goblet cells, which is abundantly present in intestinal metaplasia.To evaluate the utility of serum TFF3 as a non-invasive biomarker for the diagnosis of intestinal metaplasia and gastric cancer.Single-center, cross-sectional study of 274 patients who consecutively underwent upper gastrointestinal endoscopy with gastric biopsies (updated Sydney system). TFF3 levels were measured in serum by a commercial ELISA kit. Patients with normal histology or chronic atrophic gastritis without intestinal metaplasia comprised the control group. In addition, 14 patients with invasive gastric cancer were included as a reference group. The association between TFF3 levels and intestinal metaplasia was assessed by logistic regression.Patients with intestinal metaplasia (n=110) had a higher median TFF3 level as compared to controls (n=164), 13.1 vs. 11.9ng/mL, respectively (p=0.024). Multivariable logistic regression showed a no significant association between TFF3 levels and intestinal metaplasia (OR=1.20; 95%CI: 0.87-1.65; p-trend=0.273). The gastric cancer group had a median TFF3 level of 20.5ng/mL, and a significant association was found (OR=3.26; 95%CI: 1.29-8.27; p-trend=0.013).Serum levels of TFF3 do not discriminate intestinal metaplasia in this high-risk Latin American population. Nevertheless, we confirmed an association between TFF3 levels and invasive gastric cancer.

La estadificación del cáncer de mama tiene como objetivo determinar la extensión de la enfermedad, definir el tratamiento y el pronóstico de la misma. La American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) ha asignado el estadio utilizando el tamaño del tumor (T), la presencia de compromiso ganglionar (N), y la presencia o ausencia de metástasis a distancia (M). Con el advenimiento de la biología molecular, se integra a la estadificación anatómica la información pronóstica con el grado histológico, el estado de los receptores hormonales y el resultado del receptor de HER2. En el Instituto Nacional de Cancerología (INC), la incorporación del TNM pronóstico trajo consigo un aumento de estadio en el 14,47% de los casos y una disminución en el 40,3%; este resultado se atribuyó en parte al mayor porcentaje de tumores localmente avanzados dentro de la institución. Por subtipo biológico, los tumores luminales presentan mayor riesgo de metástasis óseas, los tumores triple negativo a pulmón y sistema nervioso central; y los tumores HER2 a SNC, hígado y pulmón. Teniendo en cuenta este compromiso a distancia, los métodos de estadificación comúnmente utilizados son gammagrafía ósea (GO), radiografía de tórax (RxT), ecografía hepática (UH) y/o tomografía computarizada (TC).En el caso de identificar hallazgos sospechosos en estos exámenes o si el cuadro clínico del paciente lo sugiere, se realizan estudios adicionales como TC o resonancia magnética nuclear (RMN). Los cambios en la estadificación clínica y la biología del cáncer de mama motivaron a las Unidades de Seno y Tejidos Blandos y Oncología Clínica del Instituto Nacional de Cancerología a revisar la evidencia científica disponible para recomendar la pertinencia de los estudios de extensión.

(1) Background: After filtering surgery, bleb morphology is an indicator of the factors that may determine the final intraocular pressure (IOP). The present study aimed to evaluate and compare filtering bleb characteristics after combined cataract and glaucoma surgery. (2) Methods: We conducted a prospective multi-center randomized trial. Eyes with glaucoma and cataract were randomly assigned to either phacoemulsification and filtration surgery with an EX-PRESS implant (Alcon) or non-penetrating deep sclerectomy (NPDS) with an ESNOPER implant (AJL). The bleb characteristics were assessed with the Moorfields bleb grading system at months 1 and 12 of follow-up, and the relationship with IOP was analyzed. (3) Results: There were significant changes in bleb appearance between the assessments at month 1 and month 12. The changes in bleb appearance were more evident in the EX-PRESS group. The central area in the EX-PRESS group decreased from 2.9 at month 1 to 2.4 at month 12 (p = 0.014). Bleb height in the EX-PRESS group decreased from 2.3 at month 1 to 1.8 at month 12 (p = 0.034). The vascularity of the central area in the NPDS group decreased from 1.8 at month 1 to 1.3 at month 12 (p = 0.02). The maximal bleb area was inversely related (r = −0.39; p = 0.03) to the IOP in the NPDS group at month 1. Vascularity in the central area was directly related (r = 0.39; p = 0.01) to a higher IOP in the EX-PRESS group at month 1. Vascularity in the central area (r = 0.56; p < 0.001) and maximal area (r = 0.37; p = 0.012) at month 1 was directly related to a higher IOP in the EX-PRESS group at month 12. (4) Conclusions: More intense vascularity at month 1 was related to a higher final IOP in the EX-PRESS group. Larger blebs were associated with a lower IOP in the NPDS group.

In recent years, the development of new diagnostic techniques has enabled the identification of the main genetic alterations involved in the development of these tumours. Multiple studies have assessed the ability of certain biomarkers, such as BRCA in pancreatic cancer, IDH1 or FGFR2 in biliary tract cancer and microsatellite instability or NTRK fusions in an agnostic tumour fashion, to predict response to treatment. In this consensus, a group of experts selected by the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM) and the Spanish Society of Pathology (SEAP) reviewed the role played by these mutations in the process of carcinogenesis and their clinical implications. As a result, this article proposes a series of recommendations to optimize the determination of these biomarkers to help standardize the diagnosis and treatment of these tumours. Aim: Head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC) is the ninth most common tumor worldwide. Neck lymph node (LN) status is the major indicator of prognosis in all head and neck cancers, and the early detection of LN involvement is crucial in terms of therapy and prognosis. Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is a non-invasive imaging technique used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to characterize tissues based on the displacement motion of water molecules. This review aims to provide an overview of the current literature concerning quantitative diffusion imaging for LN staging in patients with HNSCC. Methods: This systematic review performed a literature search on the PubMed database (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/) for all relevant, peer-reviewed literature on the subject following the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) criteria, using the keywords: DWI, MRI, head and neck, staging, lymph node. Results: After excluding reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, and bibliometric studies, 18 relevant papers out of the 567 retrieved were selected for analysis. Conclusions: DWI improves the diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment response evaluation, and overall management of patients affected by HNSCC. More robust data to clarify the role of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) and DWI parameters are needed to develop models for prognosis and prediction in HNSCC cancer using MRI.

Actualmente es imposible imaginar un mundo sin marcas, por lo que es de vital importancia dotarnos de claves para entenderlas. Las marcas han evolucionado enormemente a lo largo de las últimas décadas, pero es posible encontrar una continuidad entre lo que eran, lo que son y lo que serán. El objetivo de este artículo es determinar, definir e ilustrar nueve grandes ideas que han influido en el diseño de marcas gráficas. Algunas de estas se sitúan directamente entre principios y mediados del siglo XX; y otras se concibieron a finales del siglo XX y principios del XXI.

Un grupo de reconocidos científicos investigadores y académicos de varias partes del mundo se encuentran trabajando desde marzo de 2017 para intentar mejorar la salud bucal de las comunidades. Los integrantes del grupo son: Newell W. Johnson (Australia y Reino Unido), Lois K. Cohen (Estados Unidos), Richard Watt (Reino Unido), Gunnar Dahlen (Suecia), Alfonso Escobar (Colombia), Ole Fejerskov (Dinamarca) y Firoze Manji (Canadá y Kenya). Estos referentes han publicado el documento “Declaración de la Cascada” y han dado conferencias manteniendo discusiones sobre el futuro de la profesión odontológica en Colombia, Chile y Brasil, reflejadas en varios artículos publicados. Colegas de Argentina, Chile y Uruguay nos hemos sumado a esta discusión con la propuesta de reflexionar sobre estos temas y trabajar en el desafío de lograr una salud bucal integrada a la salud con equidad. Esta reflexión se publica en simultáneo en la Revista de la Asociación Odontológica Argentina, en la revista Odontoestomatología (publicación de la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de la República de Uruguay) y en la Revista Odontológica Científica Chilena (publicación de la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Chile). The research objectives are to understand the system's effectiveness, challenges, and Tokopedia's efforts to improve data and privacy protection. Tokopedia has prioritized information security since its establishment, implementing tight security measures, and continuously improving them. Tokopedia Shield, a security feature introduced in 2015, has significantly reduced fraud risk in the platform. Additionally, the company has taken several steps to secure user data, such as data encryption, access restriction, and password quality enhancement. Tokopedia continuously develops its security system, incorporating the latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Analytics to detect potential threats early and improve the security system's responsiveness.

El presente artículo es una propuesta de una nueva lectura del capítulo quinto del libro tercero del De anima de Aristóteles. Por lectura se entiende no una interpretación, sino una cuidadosa atención al momento filológico: qué dice literalmente el texto, antes de las interpretaciones filosóficas. Para esto, se atiende minuciosamente a la semántica de los términos, al modo de adjetivación de la lengua griega, y al contexto general, gramatical y semántico de este capítulo quinto. El resultado de este análisis filológico es una es una nueva comprensión del texto, que permite una nueva traducción, que se ofrece al final.

Pulmonary atresia with an intact ventricular septum is characterised by heterogeneity in right ventricle morphology and coronary anatomy. In some cases, the presence of ventriculocoronary connections may promote coronary artery stenosis or interruption, and aortic diastolic pressure may not be sufficient to drive coronary blood flow. This requires a correct evaluation (currently done by angiography) which depends on whether the patient can be offered decompression of the right ventricle. To date, there is no objective method to do so, so we designed a percutaneous, transitory technique with the purpose of occluding the transtricuspid anterograde flow. The manoeuverer was performed in a 25-day-old female with pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum, right ventricle at suprasystemic level, and selective coronarography was not conclusive, the anterior descendant with stenosis in its middle third and from this point, thinner with to-fro flow. Occlusion was performed with a balloon catheter. We re-evaluated the coronary flow and the normalised anterior descendant flow. We hope that with this new method, we can give a more accurate diagnosis and determine the cases in which the coronary circulation is truly not right ventricle dependent to offer a greater number of patients biventricular or 1.5 ventricular repairs and thereby improve their quality of life and survival, the ones that turn out to be right ventricular dependant; offer them an early reference for cardiac transplant or in case it is not available to consider univentricular palliation knowing that this probably would not reduce the risk of ischaemia and/or death over time.

El cerezo (Prunus avium L.) es un cultivo con baja superficie plantada en México, durante el año 2019 se produjeron 92 toneladas y existe una demanda de 1,249 toneladas que se abastece mediante importaciones provenientes de Chile y Estados Unidos (FAOSTAT, 2022). La zonificación agroecológica es una herramienta que se utiliza para determinar zonas potenciales para el establecimiento de cultivos. El objetivo principal de la investigación fue determinar la zona potencial de producción para el cerezo en la región manzanera del Estado de Chihuahua desde un punto de vista agroecológico, esta determinación se realizó mediante el uso de un sistema de información geográfica (SIG), el cual facilitó la manipulación y sobreposición de capas de información, correspondiente a factores climáticos, edáficos y biológicos. Se utilizaron datos diarios de información climática de 10 estaciones meteorológicas durante un periodo de 20 años (2000 – 2021), con el uso de ésta información se desarrollaron las unidades calor, horas frío y unidades frío y precipitación en la región manzanera; para la información edafológica y biológica se utilizaron cartas edafológicas del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (INEGI). Se generó la zonificación agroecológica mediante una clasificación de las variables: pendiente, textura, pedregosidad, uso de suelo y vegetación, unidades frío, unidades calor, horas frío y precipitación en función de los requerimientos del cultivo y su importancia para el desarrollo del cerezo para obtener las zonas aptas potenciales del cerezo.

Introducción: Durante el embarazo, la mujer experimenta una serie de cambios fisiológicos adaptativos a su nueva condición. La causa más frecuente de morbi-mortalidad tanto de la mujer como en el feto son los trastornos hipertensivos en el embarazo. El contar con personal de enfermería capacitado y con competencias para la toma de presión arterial (PA) constituye la base para la detección temprana de las alteraciones cardiovasculares durante la gestación y evitar futuras complicaciones. Objetivo: Estandarizar la técnica para la toma de la presión arterial en la mujer obstetra del Servicio de Obstetricia en el Hospital Civil de Guadalajara. Metodología Estudio descriptivo, longitudinal, con una muestra de n=32 profesionales de enfermería, se evaluaron los conocimientos y habilidades mediante el instrumento exprofeso sobre “conocimientos en la toma de la presión arterial” (α=0.80) y la GPC IMSS-586-12 para verificar la técnica. Resultados: La media de edad fue de 33.8 ± 6.4, con antigüedad laboral de 3 a 27 años, 100% es enfermero general. Las competencias teórico-prácticas aumentaron 55% después de la intervención. 87.5% determino los ruidos de Korotkoff como la guía para la toma de PA. La técnica correcta después de la intervención se evaluó con puntajes buenos (≥90%). Conclusiones:Dada la importancia que ha cobrado desde el punto de vista la segurirdad del paciente y para dismuinir errores en los diagnósticos de la mujer obstétra es necesari realizar de manera sistematizada los pasos recomendados en la GPC intervenciones de enfemreríua para la prevencióin y atención de mujeres con trastornos hipertensivos del embarazo.

The pandemic has significantly affected small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) due to their lack of financial and technological resources. The disruption of supply chains has affected the ability of SMEs to obtain raw materials and finished goods, which has increased production costs and decreased revenue. Additionally, digitization has become a crucial tool for businesses seeking to adapt to the pandemic, but many SMEs have faced significant challenges in terms of a lack of technology skills and resources, and limited connectivity in some regions. Government support has been instrumental in helping SMEs survive during the pandemic. Government programs that provide financial aid and business advice have been especially effective for SMEs. However, it is important that government support programs are accessible and easy to understand for SMEs, and that they are tailored to the specific needs of each sector.

The establishment of Pachycereus pringlei seedlings is a scarce event; soil conditions are one of the factors attributed to its high mortality rate in the early stages of development. The use of organic manures as a substrate helps to improve the structure, porosity, and density of the soil where they live, in addition to providing nutrients that would benefit the roots, increasing the possibility of their establishment during the emergence stage. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different proportions of organic manures as a sown substrate in the emergence and establishment of Pachycereus pringlei seedlings, using nine treatments of organic manures in a completely randomized experimental design with four replications. The variables measured were emergence rate (ER) and percentage (EP) and their indices, seedlings’ morphometric, and physiological characteristics in the establishment stage. The results showed that the evaluated variables in the emergence and seedling establishment phase indicate the preference for natural substrate and organic manure combinations in proportions of 50 and 30%, respectively. The analysis of variance showed significant differences regarding the morphometric and physiological variables of the stem and root of the evaluated treatments. The emergence and establishment analyses show that cardon seedlings under different organic manure treatments and controlled conditions had excellent survival results compared to the low rates of recruitment and survival reported under natural conditions. Similarly, the implementation of organic manures improved the physiological and morphometric characteristics of the cardon seedlings compared to the control treatment with the natural substrate.

Giovanni B. Montini-Pablo VI fue asistente nacional de la Federación Universitaria Católica Italiana (1925-1933), desarrollando una intensa labor formativa. Los objetivos de este escrito son describir su experiencia y pensamiento educativo en este periodo demostrando la relación directa entre la formación de estos universitarios con el surgimiento de una generación de políticos comprometidos que se incorporaron a la democracia cristiana desempeñando importantes responsabilidades después del fascismo. Para ello, se analiza su contexto vital, eclesial y político caracterizado por la relación turbulenta con el fascismo. Se describe su diseño formativo intelectual, cultural, teológico, litúrgico, espiritual y social. Se estudian sus influencias intelectuales, filosóficas y teológicas en contraste con las filosofías que dominaban el panorama universitario del momento. Para finalizar, se trata su influencia pedagógica en los jóvenes que levantaron un nuevo orden sociopolítico en Italia tras el fascismo.

Se presenta un programa informático propio para la automatización de los tratamientos de arcoterapia con intensidad modulada volumétrica usando el sistema de planificación de radioterapia Varian Eclipse. Lleva a cabo el proceso completo de planificación con muy poca intervención y de manera sencilla: interpreta la prescripción clínica y la traduce a objetivos de optimización, crea los contornos auxiliares y optimiza la distribución de dosis. Además, permite el procesado simultáneo de varios planes. Para evaluar su funcionamiento, se escogieron aleatoriamente varios planes ya tratados de distintas localizaciones, se replanificaron y compararon. Se analizó la diferencia entre la dosis prescrita y la calculada para todas las restricciones en ambos casos. Las planificaciones automáticas obtuvieron mejores resultados en más de la mitad de los límites de dosis prescritos. También se estudió el tiempo total de planificación, pudiendo concluirse que la automatización reduce el tiempo necesario en la mayoría de los casos. La principal ventaja es que la dosimetría automática no requiere prácticamente atención. En conclusión, la dosimetría automática permite liberar mucho tiempo del personal, reducir la experiencia necesaria y suavizar la curva de aprendizaje de esta técnica, disminuir la toma de decisiones subjetivas y, por lo tanto, incrementar la homogeneidad de los tratamientos.

The paper aims to evaluate the possible sustainable management of energy, within the 1062 Italian hospitals. The hospital is the only public building that operates continuously throughout the year. It is a 24-hour facility. Although the theme has been treated in the literature, there is no empirical evidence concerning the same country of the European Union to the number of structures analyzed and energy consumption. Furthermore, Italy is a country heavily dependent on sources of energy supply. The methodological approach has been that of a joint evaluation both of organizational types that is energetic. In the discussion, possible solutions emerge, operational interventions, to make the energy management of hospitals, more efficient. The role of the energy manager and the presence of structures dedicated to energy management emerge as the main bottlenecks for achieving better energy efficiency

Por toda América Latina, particularmente en México, emergen procesos que proponen la autonomía como forma de resistencia frente al Estado y al capital. Pueblos, comunidades y organizaciones indígenas han retomado la bandera autonomista para sostener su existencia. Aquí buscamos analizar desde un caso concreto la producción espacial generada desde los proyectos autónomos y las disputas históricas materializadas geográficamente. Ello nos permitió observar el desarrollo de la producción espacial en la zona de estudio, mostrando al despojo como el hilo conductor de las relaciones sociales. Consideramos que la espacialidad generada en las economías dependientes muestra el alto nivel de conflicto que ha determinado las condiciones de vida de las personas. Creemos que la propuesta teórico conceptual aquí utilizada puede ampliarse y ser desarrollada para el análisis de otras experiencias similares de producciones espaciales contrahegemónicas.
