In the article, the authors presented the results of comprehensive studies in 2020 - 2022. on the study of different varieties of soybeans when grown up to granules. The experiments were carried out on heavy loamy grey forest soil with a humus content of 4.1% with a slight acid reaction of the medium (pH 6.28). The nitrate nitrogen concentration was 10 mg/100 g, mobile phosphorus 13.5 mg/100 g, and exchangeable potassium 8 mg/100 g. Different varieties of soybeans, according to their ecological and geographical origin, were sown in the third decade of May with a sowing rate of 500 thousand viable seeds per 1 ha, with harvesting in the third decade of September. The authors conducted phenological observations and determined the photosynthetic potential during the experimental work. The authors also determined the leaf areas of different soybean varieties, plant height, yield indicators and crop structure. The researchers noted that the accelerated growth and development rates occurred in the West Siberian types Omskaya 4, SibNIIK-315, Gorinskaya and Krasnoobskaya. Early maturing varieties of Far Eastern selection were distinguished by a long growing season of up to 120 days, with 85 days in Siberian varieties: Omskaya 4, Far Eastern selection Alena, and Kuban selection (Barguzin, Puma, Vita, Lira, Sayana). The authors observed a significant increase in yield to the standard in the Omskaya 4 - 21% variety. On the other hand, types of the Far Eastern and Kuban selection showed grain yield indicators 2–5 times lower than the SibNIIK-315 standard. The high parameters of the crop structure in the Siberian variety Omskaya 4 were determined by the number of beans from one plant and the mass of grains from one plant.

The authors in the article provided data on the use of different varieties and hybrids of cereals and legumes. The experiments were carried out in the forest steppe of the Novosibirsk Priobya region in 2020–2022. The studies were conducted on the leached chernozem of the Praktik EEF (Educational and Experimental Farm) of the Novosibirsk Region and CJSC Livestock Breeding Farm Irmen of the Ordynsky District Novosibirsk Region. Also, the authors conducted experiments in the steppe zone on the southern chernozem of Nadezhda LLC of the Bagansky district and on grey forest medium loamy soil of the Education and Production Farm (EPF) “Garden of Michurintsev” in Novosibirsk. The research aims to study the efficiency of using the modern gene pool of grain and leguminous crops in different zones of Western Siberia. The authors found that West Siberian selection soybean varieties had higher growth and development rates than the Doka standard for 4-6 days. During studies with F1 hybrids of corn, the authors also note increased indicators of biometric parameters: plant height, green mass, and cob weight - by 20% of the Ross 140 F1 standard. High yield parameters of corn grain on the leached chernozem of the forest-steppe zone (EEF Praktik) of hybrids Ross 199 F1 - 10.2, KS-178 F1 and Krasnodar 194 F1 - 9.79 t/ha were revealed, exceeding the Ross 140 F1 standard by 40– 47%. Corn grains of hybrids F1 Ross 199 - 6.03 t/ha, Krasnodar 194 - 5.67 and KS-178 - 5.52 t/ha differed in yield with an excess of the standard by 54% on the southern chernozem of the steppe zone of Nadezhda LLC The maximum yield of corn grain is in the hybrid F1 Kuban 101 and Katerina - at 9 t/ha on the leached chernozem of CJSC Irmen stud farm. The maximum yield of soybean grain is 3.44 t/ha for SibNIIK-9 and Gorinskaya on leached chernozem, which is higher than the standard for Doka by 67 and 57%. SibNIIK-9, Omskaya 4, and Gorinskaya were distinguished on grey forest medium loamy soil. The variety of the Far Eastern selection Alena and the early ripening varieties of the RRIO collection (All-Russian Research Institute of Oilseeds, named after V. S. Pustovoit, Krasnodar): Barguzin, Lira, Sonata, and Puma, had a developed above-ground mass and low grain productivity. It was statistically determined that the genotype determined the yield of corn grain by 39%, conditions of the year - by 25%, and interaction of factors - by 20%. In experiments with soybean on leached and southern chernozem, the grain yield depended on the genotype by 42%, the conditions of the year - by 27% and the interaction of factors - by 16%, on grey forest medium loamy soil, respectively, 47; 30 and 22%.

BACKGROUND. There is enough evidence of the negative impact of excess weight on the formation and progression of res piratory pathology. Given the continuing SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, it is relevant to determine the relationship between body mass index (BMI) and the clinical features of the novel coronavirus infection (NCI).AIM. To study the effect of BMI on the course of the acute SARS-COV-2 infection and the post-covid period.MATERIALS AND METHODS. AKTIV and AKTIV 2 are multicenter non-interventional real-world registers. The АКТИВ registry (n=6396) includes non-overlapping outpatient and inpatient arms with 6 visits in each. The АКТИВ 2 registry (n=2968) collected the data of hospitalized patients and included 3 visits. All subjects were divided into 3 groups: not overweight (n=2139), overweight (n=2931) and obese (n=2666).RESULTS. A higher BMI was significantly associated with a more severe course of the infection in the form of acute kidney injury (p=0.018), cytokine storm (pCONCLUSION. Overweight and/or obesity is a significant risk factor for severe course of the new coronavirus infection and the associated cardiovascular and kidney damage Overweight people and patients with the 1st and 2nd degree obesity tend to have a high risk of death of SARS-CoV-2 infection in both acute and post-covid periods. On top of that, in case of morbid obesity patients this tendency is statistically significant. Normalization of body weight is a strategic objective of modern medicine and can contribute to prevention of respiratory conditions, severe course and complications of the new coronavirus infection.

Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have great potential in various areas such as medicine, cancer therapy and diagnostics, biosensing, and material science. In particular, magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles are extensively used for numerous bioapplications due to their biocompatibility, high saturation magnetization, chemical stability, large surface area, and easy functionalization. This paper describes magnetic nanoparticle physical and biological properties, emphasizing synthesis approaches, toxicity, and various biomedical applications, focusing on the most recent advancements in the areas of therapy, diagnostics, theranostics, magnetic separation, and biosensing.

In the modern world, with the surge of usage of the unmanned aerial vehicles many tasks related to detection of aerial objects have arisen and also the determination of their type within the cities and the countryside. Such tasks are the recognition and classification of aerial objects using radar stations. Aerial objects that need to be detected usually are unmanned aircraft and birds. Processing the signal received by radar from the aerial object to obtain a proper spectral signature is needed to solve such tasks. The most informative detail for determining the type of the aerial object is the presence or absence of the micro-Doppler effect in the spectral signatures. The perpose of this paper is to carry out and compare two strategies for filtering echo signals from interference and obtaining their spectral signatures. The first strategy involves application of several methods for filtering the echo signal, followed by a standard spectral analysis. The second strategy adds to the previous one the use of an autocorrelation and calculating spectral density. Comparison of the of the applied strategies for processing echo signals from aerial objects showed that the use of the autocorrelation results in a more pronounced, regular and refined spectral signature relative to the first approach with only filtering and spectral analysis. The application of these strategies for processing signals reflected from aerial objects will be used in a future research to design a system with deep integration of the physical and computational components.

We predict theoretically the leading role and angular anisotropy of bremsstrahlung in resonant Compton scattering of a hard X-ray photon by an atom.

Trinuclear (Et(n-Pr)3N)3[Sb3Br12] (1) and tetranuclear (2,2′-bipyH)4[Sb4Br20] (2) bromoantimonates(III) are obtained by the reaction of solutions of bromides of the respective organic cations and Sb2O3 in HBr. The structures of 1 and 2 are studied by single crystal XRD. The [Sb3Br12]3– (1) anions belong to a previously unknown structure type of halide Sb(III) complexes.

The article presents the results of neurological examination of 95 patients with drug dependence. Neurological symptoms were evaluated comparatively in patients with non-injecting and injecting forms of dependence (n=17 and n=78, respectively). The obtained data of clinical neurological examination were compared with the indicators of magnetic resonance imaging of the brain and neurophysiological assessment of the state of peripheral nerves. A comprehensive analysis of the results of the study indicated that chronic intoxication with injecting drugs leads to the development of more pronounced and polymorphic neurological symptoms. It is also necessary to take into account the key role of intoxication in the formation of a cascade of reactions that change the functions of the nervous system.

Aim. To analyze newly diagnosed diseases and features of the post-COVID course in patients after a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) within 12-month follow-up.Material and methods. A total of 9364 consecutively hospitalized patients were included in the ACTIV registry. Enrollment of patients began on June 29, 2020, and was completed on March 30, 2021, corresponding to the first and second waves of the pandemic. Demographic, clinical, and laboratory data, computed tomography (CT) results, information about inhospital clinical course and complications of COVID-19 during hospitalization were extracted from electronic health records using a standardized data collection form. The design included follow-up telephone interviews with a standard questionnaire at 3, 6, and 12 months to examine the course of post-COVID period.Results. According to the ACTIV registry, 18,1% of patients after COVID-19 had newly diagnosed diseases (NDDs) over the next 12 months. Hypertension (HTN), type 2 diabetes and coronary artery disease (CAD) prevailed in the NDD structure. Comparison of the age-standardized incidence of NDDs (HTN, CAD, diabetes) in the post-COVID period in the ACTIV registry with NDD incidence in 2019 according to Rosstat and the expected incidence of NDDs according to the EPOHA study revealed that HTN, diabetes, CAD in patients after COVID-19 were registered more often as follows: HTN by 7,0 and 4,4 times, diabetes by 7,3 and 8,8 times, CAD by 2,3 and 2,9 times, respectively. NDDs most often developed in patients aged 47 to 70 years. Comparison of the actual and expected number of cases of newly diagnosed HTN, CAD and diabetes depending on age showed that the actual number of cases in the population of patients in the ACTIV register is significantly higher than expected for patients aged 45-69 years and for patients with hypertension or diabetes and aged Conclusion. Available evidence suggests that a strategy for managing COVID-19 survivors should include mandatory screening for early detection of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, which will be key to reducing the risk of further COVID-19 consequences.

We report the elaboration of redox-responsive functional micellar nanocarriers designed for triggered release of caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) in cancer therapy. Three-layered micelles, comprising a poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) core, a middle poly(acrylic acid)/poly(ethylene oxide) (PAA/PEO) layer and a PEO outer corona, were prepared by co-assembly of PEO113-b-PCL35-b-PEO113 and PAA13-b-PCL35-b-PAA13 amphiphilic triblock copolymers in aqueous media. The preformed micelles were loaded with CAPE via hydrophobic interactions between the drug molecules and PCL core, and subsequently crosslinked by reaction of carboxyl groups from PAA and a disulfide crosslinking agent. The reaction of crosslinking took place in the middle layer of the nanocarriers without changing the encapsulation efficiency (EE~90%) of the system. The crosslinked polymeric micelles (CPMs) exhibited superior structural stability and did not release CAPE in phosphate buffer (pH 7.4). However, in weak acidic media and in the presence of 10 mM reducing agent (dithiothreitol, DTT), the payload was released at a high rate from CPMs due to the breakup of disulfide linkages. The physicochemical properties of the nanocarriers were investigated by dynamic and electrophoretic light scattering (DLS and ELS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The rapid release of CAPE under intracellular-like conditions and the lack of premature drug release in media resembling the blood stream (neutral pH) make the developed CPMs a promising candidate for controllable drug release in the microenvironment of tumors.

The vitamin D receptor (VDR) mediates 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 pleiotropic biological actions through transcription regulation of target genes. The expression levels of this ligand-activated nuclear receptor are regulated by multiple mechanisms both at transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels. Vitamin D3 is the natural VDR activator, but other molecules and signaling pathways have also been reported to regulate VDR expression and activity. In this study, we identify valproic acid (VPA) and natural short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) as novel transcriptional activators of the human VDR (hVDR) gene. We further report a comprehensive characterization of VPA/SCFA-responsive elements in the 5′ regulatory region of the hVDR gene. Two alternative promoter DNA regions (of 2.4 and 3.8 kb), as well as subsequent deletion fragments, were cloned in pGL4-LUC reporter vector. Transfection of these constructs in HepG2 and human Upcyte hepatocytes followed by reporter assays demonstrated that a region of 107 bp (from −107 to −1) upstream of the transcription start site in exon 1a is responsible for most of the increase in transcriptional activity in response to VPA/SCFAs. This short DNA region is GC-rich, does not contain an apparent TATA box, and includes two bona fide binding sites for the transcription factor Sp1. Our results substantiate the hypothesis that VPA and SCFAs facilitate the activity of Sp1 on novel Sp1 responsive elements in the hVDR gene, thus promoting VDR upregulation and signaling. Elevated hepatic VDR levels have been associated with liver steatosis and, therefore, our results may have clinical relevance in epileptic pediatric patients on VPA therapy. Our results could also be suggestive of VDR upregulation by SCFAs produced by gut microbiota.

The discovery of new anticancer drugs with а higher, more specific activity and diminished side effects than the conventional chemotherapeutic agents is a tremendous challenge to contemporary medical research and development. To achieve a pronounced efficacy, the design of antitumor agents can combine various biologically active subunits in one molecule, which can affect different regulatory pathways in cancer cells. We recently demonstrated that a newly synthesized organometallic compound, a ferrocene-containing camphor sulfonamide (DK164), possesses promising antiproliferative activity against breast and lung cancer cells. However, it still encounters the problem of solubility in biological fluids. In this work, we describe a novel micellar form of DK164 with significantly improved solubility in aqueous medium. DK164 was embedded in biodegradable micelles based on a poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(α-cinnamyl-ε-caprolactone-co-ε-caprolactone)-b-poly(ethylene oxide) triblock copolymer (PEO113-b-P(CyCL3-co-CL46)-b-PEO113), and the physicochemical parameters (size, size distribution, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency) and biological activity of the obtained system were studied. We used cytotoxicity assays and flow cytometry to determine the type of cell death, as well as immunocytochemistry to assess the influence of the encapsulated drug on the dynamics of cellular key proteins (p53 and NFkB) and the process of autophagy. According to our results, the micellar form of the organometallic ferrocene derivate (DK164-NP) exhibited several advantages compared to the free substance, such as higher metabolic stability, better cellular uptake, improved bioavailability, and long-term activity, maintaining nearly the same biological activity and anticancer properties of the drug.

Final ion charge spectra produced by the cascade de-excitations of 1s- to 5p 3/2-vacancies of the gold atom are calculated by direct construction and analysis of the cascade decay trees. The energies of multivacancy configurations arising in the course of the cascade development, and the partial widths of radiation and radiationless cascade transitions are calculated using the Pauli–Fock approximation. The energies of the cascade transitions are calculated as the differences of total Pauli–Fock energies of initial and final ionic configurations which allowed excluding energy-forbidden radiationless transitions in numerous multivacancy configurations. Partial widths of transitions are expressed in the form that allowed accounting for the effect of electron subshell populations on the transition widths. The partial widths of the transitions between the states of the overlapping initial and final state multiplets are corrected so as to exclude energy-forbidden transitions between the multiplet states. It is demonstrated that accurate accounting for possible forbiddance of transitions between cascade configurations and the exclusion of energy-forbidden term-to-term transitions between the multiplets’ states are crucial in deep-initial-vacancy cascade simulations.

Anabolic–androgenic steroids are testosterone derivatives, used by body-builders to increase muscle mass. Epistane (EPI) is an orally administered 17α-alkylated testosterone derivative with 2a-3a epithio ring. We identified four individuals who, after EPI consumption, developed long-lasting cholestasis. The bile acid (BA) profile of three patients was characterized, as well the molecular mechanisms involved in this pathology. The serum BA pool was increased from 14 to 61-fold, basically on account of primary conjugated BA (cholic acid (CA) conjugates), whereas secondary BA were very low. In in vitro experiments with cultured human hepatocytes, EPI caused the accumulation of glycoCA in the medium. Moreover, as low as 0.01 μM EPI upregulated the expression of key BA synthesis genes (CYP7A1, by 65% and CYP8B1, by 67%) and BA transporters (NTCP, OSTA and BSEP), and downregulated FGF19. EPI increased the uptake/accumulation of a fluorescent BA analogue in hepatocytes by 50–70%. Results also evidenced, that 40 μM EPI trans-activated the nuclear receptors LXR and PXR. More importantly, 0.01 μM EPI activated AR in hepatocytes, leading to an increase in the expression of CYP8B1. In samples from a human liver bank, we proved that the expression of AR was positively correlated with that of CYP8B1 in men. Taken together, we conclude that EPI could cause cholestasis by inducing BA synthesis and favouring BA accumulation in hepatocytes, at least in part by AR activation. We anticipate that the large phenotypic variability of BA synthesis enzymes and transport genes in man provide a putative explanation for the idiosyncratic nature of EPI-induced cholestasis.

The leading role of the bremsstrahlung at resonant Compton scattering of a hard X-ray photon by a multielectron atom has been theoretically predicted. This result can be important in the interpretation of Kα, β spectra of X-ray emission of stars, galaxies, and clusters of galaxies.

Results of a study of cognitive sphere in patients with mental and behavioral disorders caused by the use of synthetic cannabinoids (harmful use), cognitive control, in particular, are presented in the article. Cognitive control, being an important component of the process of self-regulation, can become the target of psychotherapeutic interventions and psycho-correction in order to prevent repeated use of psychoactive substances.

This paper is a continuation of our work. The proper motions and radial velocities of stars from the Gaia DR2 with RV catalogue have been decomposed. We have confirmed that the Ogorodnikov-Milne model is consistent with the observational data and found the kinematic components that are not described by this model. The beyond-the-model harmonics have been partially identified with the nonlinear terms of the extended Oort model and the parameters of the second-order kinematic model.

Sequential two-photon ionization is a process that is experimentally accessible due to the use of new free-electron laser sources for excitation. For the prototypical rare Ar gas atoms, a photoelectron spectrum (PES) corresponding to the second step of the sequential two-photon double ionization (2PDIII) at a photon excitation energy of 65.3 eV was studied theoretically with a focus on the consequences of electron correlations in the considered process. The calculation predicts many intense lines at low photoelectron energies, which cannot be explained on the basis of a one-electron approximation. The processes that lead to the appearance of these lines include many-electron correlations, either in the first or second step of photoionization. A significant fraction of the intensity of the low-energy part of PES is associated with the Auger decay of the excited states formed at the second step of 2PDI. The shape of the low-energy part of the 2PDIII PES is expected to be dependent on both the energy of photon excitations and the flux of the exciting beam.

Nanogels (NGs) have attracted great attention because of their outstanding biocompatibility, biodegradability, very low toxicity, flexibility, and softness. NGs are characterized with a low and nonspecific interaction with blood proteins, meaning that they do not induce any immunological responses in the body. Due to these properties, NGs are considered promising candidates for pharmaceutical and biomedical application. In this work, we introduce the development of novel functional nanogel obtained from two naturally based products—citric acid (CA) and pentane-1,2,5-triol (PT). The nanogel was synthesized by precipitation esterification reaction of CA and PT in tetrahydrofuran using N-ethyl-N′-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide (EDC) and 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP) catalyst system. Dynamic light scattering (DLS), cryogenic transmission electron microscopy (cryo-TEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) analyses revealed formation of spherical nanogel particles with a negative surface charge. Next, the nanogel was loaded with doxorubicin hydrochloride (DOX) by electrostatic interactions between carboxylic groups present in the nanogel and amino groups of DOX. The drug-loaded nanogel exhibited high encapsulation efficiency (EE~95%), and a bi-phasic release behavior. Embedding DOX into nanogel also stabilized the drug against photodegradation. The degradability of nanogel under acidic and neutral conditions with time was investigated as well.

Treatment of β-lactamase positive bacterial infections with a combination of amoxicillin (AMOX) and clavulanic acid (CLAV) causes idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury (iDILI) in a relevant number of patients, often with features of intrahepatic cholestasis. This study aims to determine serum bile acid (BA) levels in amoxicillin/clavulanate (A + C)-iDILI patients and to investigate the mechanism of cholestasis by A + C in human in vitro hepatic models. In six A + C-iDILI patients, significant elevations of serum primary conjugated BA definitely demonstrated A + C-induced cholestasis. In cultured human Upcyte hepatocytes and HepG2 cells, CLAV was more cytotoxic than AMOX, and, at subcytotoxic concentrations, it altered the expression of more than 1,300 genes. CLAV, but not AMOX, downregulated the expression of key genes for BA transport (BSEP, NTCP, OSTα and MDR2) and synthesis (CYP7A1 and CYP8B1). CLAV also caused early oxidative stress, with reduced GSH/GSSG ratio, along with induction of antioxidant nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NRF2) target genes. Activation of NRF2 by sulforaphane also resulted in downregulation of NTCP, OSTα, ABCG5, CYP7A1 and CYP8B1. CLAV also inhibited the BA-sensor farnesoid X receptor (FXR), in agreement with the downregulation of FXR targets BSEP, OSTα and ABCG5. We conclude that CLAV, the culprit molecule of A + C, downregulates several key biliary transporters by modulating NRF2 and FXR signaling, thus likely promoting intrahepatic cholestasis. On top of that, increased ROS production and GSH depletion may aggravate the cholestatic injury by A + C.

Study the impact of various combinations of comorbid original diseases in patients infected with COVID-19 later on the disease progression and outcomes of the new coronavirus infection.The ACTIV registry was created on the Eurasian Association of Therapists initiative. 5,808 patients have been included in the registry: men and women with COVID-19 treated at hospital or at home.gov ID NCT04492384.Most patients with COVID-19 have original comorbid diseases (oCDs). Polymorbidity assessed by way of simple counting of oCDs is an independent factor in negative outcomes of COVID-19. Search for most frequent combinations of 2, 3 and 4 oCDs has revealed absolute domination of cardiovascular diseases (all possible variants). The most unfavorable combination of 2 oCDs includes atrial hypertension (AH) and chronic heart failure (CHF). The most unfavorable combination of 3 oCDs includes AH, coronary heart disease (CHD) and CHF; the worst combination of 4 oCDs includes AH, CHD, CHF and diabetes mellitus. Such combinations increased the risk of lethal outcomes 3.963, 4.082 and 4.215 times respectively.Polymorbidity determined by way of simple counting of diseases may be estimated as a factor in the lethal outcome risk in the acute phase of COVID-19 in real practice. Most frequent combinations of 2, 3 and 4 diseases in patients with COVID-19 primarily include cardiovascular diseases (AH, CHD and CHF), diabetes mellitus and obesity. Combinations of such diseases increase the COVID-19 lethal outcome risk.Цель. Изучить влияние различных комбинаций сопутствующих заболеваний, существовавших у пациентов исходно, до инфицирования вирусом SARS-CoV-2, на тяжесть течения и исходы новой коронавирусной инфекции. Материалы и методы. Регистр АКТИВ создан по инициативе Евразийской ассоциации терапевтов. В регистр включены 5808 пациентов: мужчины и женщины с диагнозом COVID-19, находящиеся на лечении в стационаре или получающие лечение на дому. Регистрация регистра: идентификатор ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT04492384. Результаты. Подавляющее большинство пациентов с COVID-19 имеют исходные сопутствующие заболевания (иСЗ). Полиморбидность, оцененная методом простого подсчета иСЗ, является самостоятельным фактором негативного прогноза больных COVID-19. Поиск наиболее часто встречающихся комбинаций из 2, 3, 4 и более СЗ выявил абсолютное доминирование сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний во всех возможных вариантах. Наиболее неблагоприятной при сочетании 2 иСЗ была комбинация, включающая артериальную гипертензию (АГ) и хроническую сердечную недостаточность (ХСН), при сочетании 3 иСЗ комбинация, включающая АГ, ишемическую болезнь сердца (ИБС), ХСН, и при сочетании 4 иСЗ комбинация, включающая АГ, ИБС, ХСН и сахарный диабет. Наличие таких комбинаций приводило к росту риска летального исхода в 3,963, 4,082, 4,215 раза соответственно. Заключение. Полиморбидность, определенная методом простого подсчета заболеваний, может использоваться в реальной практике как фактор риска летальности в остром периоде COVID-19. В состав наиболее часто встречающихся комбинаций из 2, 3, 4 заболеваний у пациентов с COVID-19 входят преимущественно сердечно-сосудистые заболевания (АГ, ИБС, ХСН), сахарный диабет и ожирение. Комбинации этих заболеваний повышают риск летального исхода при COVID-19.

Coronavirus infectious disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) affected all major aspects of society worldwide. Therefore, it is imperative to expedite the development of highly effective tools for reducing person-to-person virus transmission, effective treatment of patients and disease prevention. Huge efforts are being made on how to adapt the existing knowledge and speed up the transfer of our developments to help society tackle this global problem. In this regard, nanotechnology has offered vast opportunities to boost the fabrication of frontline tools against SARS-CoV-2. This review article discusses the advancement of nanotechnology in fabricating nanovaccines and antiviral nanoformulations, nanomaterial-based diagnostic platforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) for the fight with the new coronavirus. © 2021 Academic Publishing House. Aim To study the effect of regular drug therapy for cardiovascular and other diseases preceding the COVID-19 infection on severity and outcome of COVID-19 based on data of the ACTIVE (Analysis of dynamics of Comorbidities in paTIents who surVived SARS-CoV-2 infEction) registry.Material and methods The ACTIVE registry was created at the initiative of the Eurasian Association of Therapists. The registry includes 5 808 male and female patients diagnosed with COVID-19 treated in a hospital or at home with a due protection of patients’ privacy (data of nasal and throat smears; antibody titer; typical CT imaging features). The register territory included 7 countries: the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The registry design: a closed, multicenter registry with two nonoverlapping arms (outpatient arm and in-patient arm). The registry scheduled 6 visits, 3 in-person visits during the acute period and 3 virtual visits (telephone calls) at 3, 6, and 12 mos. Patient enrollment started on June 29, 2020 and was completed on October 29, 2020. The registry completion is scheduled for October 29, 2022. The registry ID: ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT04492384. In this fragment of the study of registry data, the work group analyzed the effect of therapy for comorbidities at baseline on severity and outcomes of the novel coronavirus infection. The study population included only the patients who took their medicines on a regular basis while the comparison population consisted of noncompliant patients (irregular drug intake or not taking drugs at all despite indications for the treatment).ResultsThe analysis of the ACTIVE registry database included 5808 patients. The vast majority of patients with COVID-19 had comorbidities with prevalence of cardiovascular diseases. Medicines used for the treatment of COVID-19 comorbidities influenced the course of the infectious disease in different ways. A lower risk of fatal outcome was associated with the statin treatment in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD); with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI)/angiotensin receptor antagonists and with beta-blockers in patients with IHD, arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure (CHF), and atrial fibrillation; with oral anticoagulants (OAC), primarily direct OAC, clopidogrel/prasugrel/ticagrelor in patients with IHD; with oral antihyperglycemic therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM); and with long-acting insulins in patients with type 1 DM. A higher risk of fatal outcome was associated with the spironolactone treatment in patients with CHF and with inhaled corticosteroids (iCS) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Conclusion In the epoch of COVID-19 pandemic, a lower risk of severe course of the coronavirus infection was observed for patients with chronic noninfectious comorbidities highly compliant with the base treatment of the comorbidity.

Aim. To study the lipid profile in hospitalized patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) depending on the outcome of its acute phase according to the AKTIV international registry.Material and methods. The AKTIV registry included men and women over 18 years of age with a diagnosis of COVID-19, who were treated in a hospital. A total of 9364 patients were included in the registry, of which 623 patients were analyzed for levels of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides on days 1-2 of hospitalization. The level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) was calculated using the Friedewald equation.Results. We found that a decrease in LDL-C level was significantly associated with an unfavorable prognosis for hospitalized patients with COVID-19. This pattern persisted in both univariate and multivariate analyses. LDL-C levels in the final multivariate model had a significant relationship with the prognosis (an increase in the death risk by 1,7 times with a decrease per 1 mmol/l). In addition, we found that the survival of patients with an indicator level of Conclusion. A decrease in LDL-C in the acute period is significantly associated with an unfavorable prognosis for hospitalized patients with COVID-19. Determination of LDL-C can be included in the examination program for patients with COVID-19. However, the predictive value of this parameter requires further study in prospective clinical studies.

The rate for Higgs ( H ) bosons production in association with either one ( tH ) or two ( tt¯H ) top quarks is measured in final states containing multiple electrons, muons, or tau leptons decaying to hadrons and a neutrino, using proton-proton collisions recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the CMS experiment. The analyzed data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb-1 . The analysis is aimed at events that contain H → WW , H → ττ , or H → ZZ decays and each of the top quark(s) decays either to lepton+jets or all-jet channels. Sensitivity to signal is maximized by including ten signatures in the analysis, depending on the lepton multiplicity. The separation among tH , tt¯H , and the backgrounds is enhanced through machine-learning techniques and matrix-element methods. The measured production rates for the tt¯H and tH signals correspond to 0.92 ± 0.19 (stat)-0.13+0.17 (syst) and 5.7 ± 2.7 (stat) ± 3.0 (syst) of their respective standard model (SM) expectations. The corresponding observed (expected) significance amounts to 4.7 (5.2) standard deviations for tt¯H , and to 1.4 (0.3) for tH production. Assuming that the Higgs boson coupling to the tau lepton is equal in strength to its expectation in the SM, the coupling yt of the Higgs boson to the top quark divided by its SM expectation, κt = yt/ytSM , is constrained to be within - 0.9 {\textless} κt {\textless} - 0.7 or 0.7 {\textless} κt {\textless} 1.1 , at 95\% confidence level. This result is the most sensitive measurement of the tt¯H production rate to date.

The progress and the chronology in understanding the influence of electron correlations on the electronic structure of atoms and the dynamics of atomic processes are reviewed focusing on benchmark rare-gas atoms. The contributions and the chronological development of Photon-Induced Fluorescence Spectroscopy (PIFS), measuring {} dispersed-fluorescence emission cross sections upon excitation by single photons provided by monochromatized synchrotron radiation is described. Selected experimental results obtained by complementary techniques are also discussed for comparison. The basic suites of computer programs used for the investigation of the many-electron effects in atoms and the obtained results are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the Configuration Interaction Pauli-Fock approximation with Core Polarization (CIPFCP) method used to interpret the PIFS data., Comment: 88 pages, 54 figures, 344 bibliography items

Summary The present work is devoted to the analysis of acoustic emission phenomenon during the ductile deformation of soft rocks and the brittle deformation of hard rocks. In view of importance of rock burst monitoring in mines new technologies of geoacoustic systems are widely introduced nowadays. In order to produce a correct risk assessment of failure caused by sudden release of accumulated strain energy when the local strength of material is exceeded we conduct a series of laboratory tests on rocks extracted from PhosAgro apatite mines, Kola Peninsula, Russia. The cores of soft rock (ore) and hard rock (enclosing rocks) have been prepared for triaxial compression tests with acoustic emission acquisition. Then acoustic emission data have been subjected to processing in order to quantify the faulting process with acoustic emission statistical parameters. As a result we obtained correct hazard criteria for the practical use under mining conditions.

This study was designed to investigate the rate and extent of urinary excretion of cocoa phenolic metabolites after human intake using metabolomics approach. In this context, a feeding trial was conducted where urine samples were collected at different time points over 48-h period. Several biomarkers were highlighted in LC-MS based chemometrics using principal component (PCA) and partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA), which revealed the presence of both epicatechin and gut microbial phenyl-γ-valerolactones (PVLs) conjugated analogues. The presences of these metabolites segregated and grouped the samples based on cocoa and non-cocoa ingestion. Furthermore, semi quantification of major bioavailable metabolites was performed to determine the interindividual differences and assess the relative bioavailability of cocoa compounds in the human body. Our approach presented here is unique in displaying a combination of LC-MS based chemometrics visualization strategies, which revealed and identified significant biomarkers that could reduce the problems associated with data screening complexity.

Hepatic vitamin D receptor (VDR) expression is increased in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver (NAFL) and is required for liver steatosis in an NAFL mouse model. However, how hepatocyte VDR is involved in setting up steatosis remains unclear. The authors transduced human hepatocyte-derived cells with an adenoviral vector encoding human VDR and found that angiopoietin-like protein 8 (ANGPTL8) expression was increased upon VDR activation by vitamin D or lithocholic acid. The mRNA levels of hepatic VDR- and vitamin D-related genes [cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2R1, CYP27A1, and CYP3A4] were higher in NAFL patients compared with normal liver subjects. Noteworthy, hepatic ANGPTL8 mRNA and protein levels were elevated in NAFL patients, and its mRNA correlated with VDR mRNA and with the steatosis grade. Moreover, increases in serum conjugated bile acids, including the VDR agonist glycine-lithocholic acid, were observed in NAFL patients. Additionally, free fatty acids and insulin were able to up-regulate both VDR and ANGPTL8 mRNA in human hepatocytes, whereas ANGPTL8 gene knockdown attenuated free fatty acids-induced triglyceride accumulation in these cells. In conclusion, activated VDR up-regulates ANGPTL8 expression, contributing to triglyceride accumulation in human hepatocytes. Moreover, hepatic ANGPTL8 mRNA positively correlates with VDR mRNA content and the grade of steatosis in NAFL patients, suggesting that this novel pathway may play a key role in the pathogenesis of hepatosteatosis.

Despite growing research, drug-induced liver injury (DILI) remains a serious issue of increasing importance to the medical community that challenges health systems, pharmaceutical industries and drug regulatory agencies. Drug-induced cholestasis (DIC) represents a frequent manifestation of DILI in humans, which is characterised by an impaired canalicular bile flow resulting in a detrimental accumulation of bile constituents in blood and tissues. From a clinical point of view, cholestatic DILI generates a wide spectrum of presentations and can be a diagnostic challenge. The drug classes mostly associated with DIC are anti-infectious, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, psychotropic and cardiovascular agents, steroids, and other miscellaneous drugs. The molecular mechanisms of DIC have been investigated since the 1980s but they remain debatable. It is recognised that altered expression and/or function of hepatobiliary membrane transporters underlies some forms of cholestasis, and this and other concomitant mechanisms are very likely in DIC. Deciphering these processes may pave the ways for diagnosis, prognosis and prevention, for which currently major gaps and caveats exist. In this review, we summarise recent advances in the field of DIC, including clinical aspects, the potential mechanisms postulated so far and the in vitro systems that can be useful to investigate and identify new cholestatic drugs.

The velocity field of main-sequence stars and red giants from the TGAS catalogue with heliocentric distances up to 1.5 kpc has been analyzed for various spectral types. To estimate the influence of a low accuracy of stellar parallax measurements on the results of a kinematic analysis of distant stars, first we have studied in detail how the kinematic parameters derived with 1/π distances are shifted when these distances are replaced by three other versions of distances from Astraatmadja et al. (2016b). We have obtained detailed tables in which the ranges of these shifts in the Ogorodnikov–Milne and Bottlinger model parameters are shown for the stars of each spectral type. We have the smallest shifts in the case of determining the Oort coefficients A and B, for which there are 10% shifts only for main-sequence stars of spectral type B. In the remaining cases, these shifts are 0–3%. For the remaining parameters the shifts do not exceed 30%. Thus, we have shown that using the 1/π distance scale in estimating the Ogorodnikov–Milne and Bottlingermodel parameters (except for the parameter Ω″0) yields reliable results even when using parallaxes with large relative errors (up to 60%). To study Parenago’s discontinuity, we have investigated the dependence of the Ogorodnikov–Milne and Bottlinger model parameters on color for 1 260 071 mainsequence stars and 534 387 red giants. As far as we know, such a data set is used for the first time to investigate Parenago’s discontinuity. The main result is the detection of maximum points at B − V = 0.75 after which the solar velocity component V and the Oort coefficient B decrease when moving from blue stars to red ones. This fact is a new feature of Parenago’s discontinuity, because the component V does not change in the classical case at B − V >0.6. We have made an attempt to represent the well-known Parenago’s discontinuity as a special case of the more complex effect of a gradual change in a number of kinematic parameters as the mean age and composition of the group of stars under study changes.

Based on the stellar proper motions of the TGAS (Gaia DR1) catalogue, we have analyzed the velocity field of main-sequence stars and red giants from the TGAS catalogue with heliocentric distances up to 1.5 kpc. We have obtained four variants of kinematic parameters corresponding to different methods of calculating the distances from the parallaxes of stars measured with large relative errors. We have established that within the Ogorodnikov–Milne model changing the variant of distances affects significantly only the solar velocity components relative to the chosen centroid of stars, provided that the solution is obtained in narrow ranges of distances (0.1 kpc). The estimates of all the remaining kinematic parameters change little. This allows the Oort coefficients and related Galactic rotation parameters as well as all the remaining Ogorodnikov–Milne model parameters (except for the solar terms) to be reliably estimated irrespective of the parallax measurement accuracy. The main results obtained from main-sequence stars in the range of distances from 0.1 to 1.5 kpc are: A = 16.29 ± 0.06 km s−1 kpc−1, B = −11.90 ± 0.05 km s−1 kpc−1, C = −2.99 ± 0.06 km s−1 kpc−1, K = −4.04 ± 0.16 km s−1 kpc−1, and the Galactic rotation period P = 217.41 ± 0.60 Myr. The analogous results obtained from red giants in the range from 0.2 to 1.6 kpc are: the Oort constants A = 13.32 ± 0.09 km s−1 kpc−1, B = −12.71 ± 0.06 km s−1 kpc−1, C = −2.04 ± 0.08 km s−1 kpc−1, K = −2.72 ± 0.19 km s−1 kpc−1, and the Galactic rotation period P = 236.03 ± 0.98 Myr. The Galactic rotation velocity gradient along the radius vector (the slope of the Galactic rotation curve) is −4.32 ± 0.08 km s−1 kpc−1 for main-sequence stars and −0.61 ± 0.11 km s−1 kpc−1 for red giants. This suggests that the Galactic rotation velocity determined from main-sequence stars decreases with increasing distance from the Galactic center faster than it does for red giants.

Background To identify the prevalence of H. pylori in patients with gastric carcinoma and their first-degree relatives, the possible risks of acquisition of infection and developing of gastric cancer. Methods We investigated 31 families (total 75 human volunteers) with a family member, diagnosed as a gastric carcinoma patient and their first-degree relatives. Patients were tested forH. pylori stool antigen by “DIAQUICK” H. pylori Stool Cassette- a rapid test for the qualitative detection of H. pylori antigen. A questionnaire for sociodemographic and lifestyle possible risk factors for acquisition of infection and for developing of gastric cancer was completed by 75 people. The statistical analysis was performed using Fisher’s test and ANOVA. Results Fisher’s Test shows that smoking (χ2 = 4.172; р = 0.386), animals at home (χ2 = 0.376; p = 0.871), and diet (χ2 = 2.166; р = 0.725) are not significantly associated; however, the family history of gastric cancer (χ2 = 56.886; р = 0.001), level of education of patients (χ2 = 17.374; р = 0.004) and sex (χ2 = 6.669; р = 0.039) are significantly associated with the acquisition of infection and the developing of gastric cancer in patients and their first-degree relatives. Conclusion Concern authorities should develop and implement strategies to improve educational status, basic sanitary facilities, and socioeconomic status to minimize H. pylori infection.

The article considers the factors influencing the stability of agrocenoses of corn hybrids in the forest-steppe zone of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The researches were carried out for three years in the zone of sharply continental climate of the Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe on leached low- and medium-thick chernozems. The main factors influencing the stability of agrocenoses of corn hybrids were determined. So the factor of climatic conditions affects the corn hybrids, its influence is no more than 14%. The factor of pre-sowing preparation and the precursor (cereals and fallow) showed not significant effect, no more than 2%, on the formation of agrocenoses of corn hybrids. Thus, the factor genotype of the hybrid was fundamental in determining its significance for agrocenoses. The main biometric factor that determines the productivity of corn hybrids was also identified. Correlation analysis made it possible to reveal the influence of the average plant height on the productivity index of corn, as well as on the ear weight. But at the same time, it was determined that the mass of corn ears decreases with an increase in the average height, in the structure of the crop agrocenoses of corn hybrids.

Cylindrical NiMg/Ce0.6Zr0.4O2 pellet catalysts with two different sizes (large, radius = 1.59 mm; small, radius = 0.75 mm) were produced by extrusion of powder catalysts. The small catalyst pellets had a higher specific surface area, pore volume, average pore size, radial crush strength, and resistance to breakage than the large pellets. Tri-reforming tests with surrogate biogas were conducted at 3 bar and 882 °C, with the feed molar ratios of CH4:CO2:air fixed at 1.0:0.7:0.95 and the H2O/CH4 molar feed ratio varied (0.35–1.16). The small catalyst pellets exhibited lower internal mass-transfer resistance and higher coking resistance compared to the large pellets. CO2 conversion decreased and H2/CO molar ratio increased with the increase of H2O/CH4 molar feed ratio, which are consistent with the trends predicted by thermodynamic equilibrium calculations. The results indicate that the NiMg/Ce0.6Zr0.4O2 catalyst pellets are promising for commercial scale applications.

Introduction: The rational use of drugs, especially antibiotics, has been recognized as a serious problem worldwide. Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the practical skills of Bulgarian medical students in their final year of education to prescribe antibiotics rationally as well as the impact of a training focused specifically on avoiding prescription errors. Materials/Methods: Medical students from the Medical University of Sofia in their 10th semester of education from two consecutive teaching cycles took part in this study. The students' participation was completely voluntary. The study was performed as academic study after having obtained a positive opinion from the Local Ethics Committee of the University Hospital 'Tsaritsa Joanna-ISUL', Medical University of Sofi a. The study was planned to be conducted in two separate parts: a pilot study aimed at receiving basic information about the self-assessment confidence of the medical students in prescribing drugs and especially antibiotics rationally and comparing this to their actual prescribing competence and a subsequent pivotal study after having performed a thorough analysis of the results of the pilot study with implementation of the respective corrective measures. The students' perception of their theoretical knowledge and practical skills to prescribe drugs and especially antibiotics rationally was assessed by means of a questionnaire containing 5 questions whereas their level of antibiotic prescribing competence was assessed by means of solving three simulated patient cases. The appropriateness of written therapeutic prescriptions was assessed independently by two clinical pharmacologists using a three-grade assessment scale: 'good', 'satisfactory' and 'unsatisfactory'. Results: The results of the pilot study showed that 50.35% of the prescriptions were rated as 'good', 21.64% as 'satisfactory' and 28.01% as 'unsatisfactory'. The results obtained from the subsequent pivotal study showed that 60.97% of the prescriptions were rated as 'good' (representing a 21.1% increase), 16.23% as 'satisfactory' (representing a 25% decrease) and 22.80% as 'unsatisfactory' (representing an 18.6% decrease). This was accompanied by an increase in the students' self-assessment confidence rated as 'good' - from 19.15% to 34.21%, while 'satisfactory' and 'unsatisfactory' ratings decreased - from 65.96% to 55.26% and from 14.89% to 10.53%, respectively. Conclusions: Medical students from the Medical University of Sofi a showed a level of competence to prescribe antibiotics rationally commensurable with the level report ed by foreign medical universities. Regardless of the observed discrepancy between the self-assessment rating and the practical antibiotic prescribing skills it was clearly shown that education specifically focused on prescription errors may contribute to the improvement of the students' antibiotic prescribing competence.

Aim.To study the clinical course specifics of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and comorbid conditions in COVID-19 survivors 3, 6, 12 months after recovery in the Eurasian region according to the AKTIV register.Material and methods.The AKTIV register was created at the initiative of the Eurasian Association of Therapists. The AKTIV register is divided into 2 parts: AKTIV 1 and AKTIV 2. The AKTIV 1 register currently includes 6300 patients, while in AKTIV 2 — 2770. Patients diagnosed with COVID-19 receiving in- and outpatient treatment have been anonymously included on the registry. The following 7 countries participated in the register: Russian Federation, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Uzbekistan. This closed multicenter register with two nonoverlapping branches (in- and outpatient branch) provides 6 visits: 3 in-person visits during the acute period and 3 telephone calls after 3, 6, 12 months. Subject recruitment lasted from June 29, 2020 to October 29, 2020. Register will end on October 29, 2022. A total of 9 fragmentary analyzes of the registry data are planned. This fragment of the study presents the results of the post-hospitalization period in COVID-19 survivors after 3 and 6 months.Results.According to the AKTIV register, patients after COVID-19 are characterized by long-term persistent symptoms and frequent seeking for unscheduled medical care, including rehospitalizations. The most common causes of unplanned medical care are uncontrolled hypertension (HTN) and chronic coronary artery disease (CAD) and/or decompensated type 2 diabetes (T2D). During 3- and 6-month follow-up after hospitalization, 5,6% and 6,4% of patients were diagnosed with other diseases, which were more often presented by HTN, T2D, and CAD. The mortality rate of patients in the post-hospitalization period was 1,9% in the first 3 months and 0,2% for 4-6 months. The highest mortality rate was observed in the first 3 months in the group of patients with class II-IV heart failure, as well as in patients with cardiovascular diseases and cancer. In the pattern of death causes in the post-hospitalization period, following cardiovascular causes prevailed (31,8%): acute coronary syndrome, stroke, acute heart failure.Conclusion.According to the AKTIV register, the health status of patients after COVID-19 in a serious challenge for healthcare system, which requires planning adequate health system capacity to provide care to patients with COVID-19 in both acute and post-hospitalization period.

The extreme acceleration of the Earth rotation observed in the summer of 2020 is considered. It is concluded that this phenomenon is a consequence of two factors: the longterm acceleration of the Earth rotation, which has been observed since the 1970s, and the extremely strong meteorological excitation of the LOD, which took place in the summer of 2020. The coincidence of the anomaly of the AAM and the geomagnetic Dst index, as well as the correlation between the LOD on the one hand and the solar wind speed and the Gaussian coefficients of the expansion of the Earth’s magnetic field, on the other, are noted. The problem of negative leap second is considered. Preliminary estimates have been made of introduction of a negative leap second, if the current trends in the behavior of UT1-UTC continue. The conclusion is made about the low probability of such an event.

Based on the measurements performed in the first 14 months of Gaia operation, we have solved the problem of obtaining the systematic differences between the stellar positions and proper motions of the TGAS (Tycho–Gaia Astrometric Solution) and Tycho-2 catalogues. By dividing the common stars from the TGAS and Tycho-2 catalogues into three G-magnitude groups for mean values of $$10\underset{\raise0.3em\hbox{$\smash{\scriptscriptstyle\cdot}$}}{m} 5,11\underset{\raise0.3em\hbox{$\smash{\scriptscriptstyle\cdot}$}}{m} 5,and13\underset{\raise0.3em\hbox{$\smash{\scriptscriptstyle\cdot}$}}{m} 0,$$ we have obtained the systematic differences between the stellar equatorial coordinates and proper motions of both catalogues in the form of a decomposition into vector spherical harmonics by taking into account the magnitude equation. The systematic components have been extracted from the individual differences with a probability of 0.977–0.999. The constructed model of systematic differences allows any position measurements performed using Tycho-2 as a reference catalogue to be transformed to the TGAS frame. An important fact is the existence of a magnitude equation in the systematic differences: when passing from bright (G = 10 m ) to faint (G = 13 m ) stars, the systematic position differences change within the range from approximately −40 to 15 mas, while the systematic proper motion differences change from −3 to 3 mas yr−1. The orientation and mutual rotation parameters of the Tycho-2 and TGAS frames have also been found to be different for stars of different magnitudes: when passing from bright to faint stars, the rotation angle of the Tycho-2 frame relative to TGAS changes from 3.51 to 5.63 mas, while the angular velocity of rotation changes from 0.35 to 1.22 mas yr−1. Based on the developed method that allows the extent to which the systematic errors in the equatorial propermotions of stars affect the results of a kinematic analysis of the Galactic proper motions to be estimated within the Ogorodnikov–Milne model, we have shown that the slope of the Galactic rotation curve and the Oort parameter C are most sensitive to the transition from the Tycho-2 frame to the TGAS one. Their relative changes after the transformation to the TGAS frame reach 56 and 100%, respectively. At the same time, the changes in the estimates of the Oort parameters A and B as well as the linear velocity of the Sun relative to the Galactic center, the Galactic rotation period, the ratio of the epicyclic frequency to the angular velocity of Galactic rotation, and the mass of the Galaxy within the Galactocentric distance of the Sun are not so large, being 2−10%.
