The aim of the work was the revelation of self-esteem in cosmetological patients.Contingent and methods of research. The research was carried out on the base of medical center “CA-Clinic” during 2014 – 2016. The testing included 286 women, who addressed for cosmetological help.Results. The self-attitude of women with low self-esteem, who addressed to the cosmetologist, was disharmonious and was characterized with the high level of self-non-acceptance, lowered self-respect and self-understanding, alienation of subjectively negative features, exaggeration of imperfections, acute self-criticism. In women with high self-esteem the disorder of harmony was manifested by the high level of self-acceptance, exaggeration of positive features and absence of criticism to the negative ones, lowered self-reflection.Conclusions. Cosmetological patients, who have the lowered or high self-esteem form the separate category of clients and need the use of medical-cosmetological arrangements, directed on disharmonic self-attitude, Самовідношення жінок із зниженою самооцінкою, які зверталися до лікаря-косметолога, було дисгармонічним та характеризувалося високим рівнем неприйняття себе, зниженою самоповагою і саморозумінням, відчуженням суб’єктивно негативних рис, перебільшенням недоліків, гострою самокритикою. У самоставленні жінки із заниженою самооцінкою проявляли негативні установки щодо власного Я, невпевненість у своїх фізичних та психологічних якостях, концентрувалися на недоліках, виказували гостре бажання змінити себе. Самовідношення у даній групі було дисгармонічним та характеризувалося високим рівнем неприйняття себе, зниженням самоповаги і саморозуміння, відчуженням суб’єктивно неприйнятних рис, перебільшенням негативних аспектів, The features of self-attitude in cosmetological patients were studied in the research.Contingent and methods of research. The study was carried out on the base of medical center “CA-CLINIC” (city Kiev) during 2014 – 2016 years. Testing included 204 women, who addressed for cosmetological help. The interrogated persons were divided in groups depending on the level of self-esteem: the main group included persons with low self-esteem (MG, n=108) and group of comparison – women with normal self-esteem (CG, n=96). Psychodiagnostic instrument is the questionnaire of self-attitude by V.V. Stolin and S.R. Pantileev.Results. It was revealed, that women with low self-esteem had lower levels of global self-attitude, self-respect, autosympathy, self-interest, expected attitude of others, self-confidence, readiness to self-perception, self-understanding, self-management and the highest one – self-accusation as opposite to the interrogated with normal self-esteem. The women with low self-esteem in their self-attitude expressed the negative setting as to the own Me, incertitude in own physical and psychological qualities, did not understood their negative features or overstated their value, were inclined to self-accusation and expressed the acute desire to change themselves. Self-attitude in women with low self-esteem was disharmonic and characterized with high level of self-rejection, decrease of self-respect and self-understanding, alienation of subjectively negative features, exaggeration of own defects.Conclusions. Cosmetological patients with low self-esteem form the separate category of clients and need the use of medical-psychological arrangements, directed on harmonization of disharmonic self-attitude

The research was carried out on the base of medical center “CA-CLINIC” (city Kyiv) during 2014 – 2016. The testing included 188 women, who asked for cosmetic help. The interrogated were divided in groups on the base of criterion of self-attitude: the main group included persons with disharmonic type with tendency to heightened self-esteem (MG, n=82), the control group included women with harmonic type (CG, n=96). Psychodiagnostic instrument was the questionnaire of the “Ways of overcoming behavior” by R. Lazarus and S. Folkman.Results. For the women with disharmonic type of self-attitude and heightened self-esteem was typical the following features. The main factors of stress-overcoming behavior were confrontation and search for social support, less expressed were distancing, self-control, responsibility, planning and least expressed was the positive reassessment. The higher levels of confrontation and distancing and the lower one of positive reassessment comparing with women with harmonic type of self-attitude were revealed. The coping-profile was manifested by impetuosity, active behavior at solving problems that could lose the character of purposefulness, rigid vindication of interests, difficulties in re-formulation of personal settings, indisputability of own position, need of involvement of social resources for attraction of attention, information, active help, emotional inclusion and devaluation of problem, rationalization, ability to control oneself, to plan. The feature of coping was the growth of tension of non-adaptive and conventionally adaptive and decrease of adaptive forms of coping, presence of strategies of stress-overcoming behavior, opposite by content that totally conditioned the decrease of effectiveness in overcoming of stress.Conclusions. The features of stress-overcoming behavior in women with disharmonic self-attitude and heightened self-esteem indicated the necessity of psychic correction within the complex program of medical-psychological help

It most patients near 20 years acne regresses, but in 10 – 20 % of them dermatosis becomes chronic.Aim of research – to study the features of coping-behavior of patients with acne.Materials and methods. 142 patients with chronic acne took part in the research – the main group (MG): 75 patients of female and 67 ones of male sex, and 70 interrogated without dermal or any other chronic somatic pathology – the group of comparison (GC), 35 girls and 35 boys respectively. The questionnaire by R. Lazarus “The ways of overcoming behavior” was used as a diagnostic instrument.Results of research. In the research was revealed that coping of patients with acne is characterized with expressed directionality on the search for social support, overcoming of the negative feelings at the expense of subjective lowering of significance and emotional involvement as to the stress event, reaction by escaping type. Patients with acne are inclined to use the conventionally adaptive and non-adaptive coping forms. The types of anti-stress activity in men and women differ.Conclusions. The established features indicate the necessity to take into account the features of behavior patterns at elaboration of model of medical-psychological help for patients with acne and differentiation of psychological influences depending on type of stress-overcoming behavior
