About 3 billion people of various age groups in all countries of the world suffer from iron deficiency (ID) in recent years. Iron is an important component of many biochemical reactions, and its deficiency causes a number of negative outcomes. The review summarizes literature data on diagnosis, assessment of quality of life, and treatment of ID, which is one of the urgent problems of adolescence, because major changes in the body occur during puberty. A number of factors are involved in the genesis of iron deficiency: rapid growth of the organism, chronic diseases of the digestive tract, menstrual blood loss in teenage girls. The reason of iron deficiency is also insufficient intake of it into the organism. To diagnose anemia is not difficult on the base of a decrease of hemoglobin, blood color index and hematocrit, and the presence of characteristic symptoms. Timely detection of iron deficiency in the organism makes possible to correct it and improve the child’s condition. The review includes the data of many clinical studies of ID in children and adolescents, the main laboratory criteria for diagnosis are defined. Special emphasis is placed on the effectiveness of using modern iron preparations with high clinical effectiveness and minimal side effects.

В огляді узагальнено літературні дані щодо діагностики, оцінки якості життя, лікування ЗДС, що є однією з актуальних проблем підліткового віку, адже у пубертатний період відбуваються основні зміни в організмі. У генезі дефіциту заліза бере участь низка факторів: стрімкий ріст організму, хронічні захворювання травного тракту, менструальні втрати у дівчаток-підлітків. The data of the results of prescribing the drug Entop for asthenic syndrome correction in the period of early convalescence in patients with meningitis and leptospirosis have been presented in the article. Administration of Entrop showed significant improvement of patients’ attention deficit, auditory memory, improvement of activity and mood, reduced levels of physical and mental tiredness in patients with meningitis. Patients with leptospirosis showed a statistically significant improvement of active attention, long-term auditory memory, and activity after prescription of drug Entrop. 97.7% of patients showed good tolerance of Entrop. The obtained results enable to recommend the drug for correction of asthenic syndrome in patients with meningitis and leptospirosis., В статье отражены результаты применения препарата Энтроп (фенилпирацетам) в период ранней реконвалесценции при менингите и лептоспирозе с целью коррекции проявлений астенического синдрома. Использование Энтропа показало достоверное улучшение устойчивости внимания, слуховой памяти, улучшение самочувствия, активности и настроения, снижение уровня физического и психического истощения у больных менингитом. У пациентов с лептоспирозом после применения Энтропа отмечено статистически значимое улучшение активного внимания, долговременной слуховой памяти и активности. У 97,7% больных переносимость Энтропа оценена как хорошая. Полученные результаты позволяют рекомендовать препарат для коррекции астенического синдрома у больных менингитом и лептоспирозом., У статті відображено результати застосування препарату Ентроп (фенілпірацетам) у період ранньої реконвалесценції при менінгіті та лептоспірозі з метою корекції проявів астенічного синдрому. Використання Ентропу засвідчило вірогідне покращення стійкості уваги, слухової пам’яті, покращення самопочуття, активності та настрою, зменшення рівня фізичного та психічного виснаження у хворих на менінгіт. У пацієнтів із лептоспірозом після застосування Ентропу відзначено статистично значуще покращення активної уваги, довготривалої слухової пам’яті та активності. У 97,7% хворих переносимість Ентропу оцінена як хороша. Отримані результати дозволяють рекомендувати препарат для корекції астенічного синдрому у хворих на менінгіт та лептоспіроз.

Aim: Comprehensive study of the features of emotional disorders in the parents of a child of the first year of life with severe craniocerebral trauma.Materials and methods. To achieve this aim, in compliance with the principles of bioethics and medical deontology was conducted a comprehensive clinical-anamnestic, clinical-psychological and psychodiagnostic examination of 137 families (mother and father) of children of the first year of life who received a craniocerebral trauma. All the examined families were full (mother and father), the average age of their parents was 27.0 ± 3.0 years.The main group consisted of 97 families who took part in the program of medical and psychological support using psycho education. Control group - 40 families who did not receive psychological support.The following survey methods were used in the study: clinical and anamnestic; clinical and psychological; psychodiagnostic using a questionnaire of nervous-psychic stress, clinical scale of anxiety and depression of Hamilton, adapted to MKH-10; scale of situational and personal anxiety Ch.D. Spielberger, methods of studying the styles of stress-breaking behavior "Methods of coping", methodology "Determination of ways to resolve conflicts" by K. Thomas in adaptation by N.V. Grishina.Results of the research. The child's illness is a traumatic situation for all parents, which leads to the development of anxiety-depressive reactions and conditions. Distributed anxiety-depressive, astheno-depressive, depressive-apatitic and dysphoric variants of emotional disorders in the parents of infants with severe craniocerebral trauma and described their clinical features.For parents of infants with severe craniocerebral trauma are characterized as ones with high levels of emotional stress, a sharp increase of negative emotions, a feeling of anxiety, depressive manifestations.The obtained results allowed to substantiate expediency of medical-psychological support of the family with the first year child with severe craniocerebral trauma, which includes methods of differentiated psychotherapy and psycho-educational programs.Conclusions The structure of psycho-emotional disorders in the parents of infants with severe craniocerebral trauma is represented by anxiety-depressive (40.9%), asthenoid-depressive (22.5%), depression-apathy (20.5%) and dysphoric (16.1%) variants.The efficiency of the system of medical and psychological support of the family with the first year child with severe craniocerebral trauma, which includes methods of differentiated psychotherapy and psycho-educational programs is proved, У роботі проведено вивчення особливостей емоційних розладів у батьків дитини першого року життя з важкою черепно-мозковою травмою.Структура тривожно-депресивних станів обстежених батьків представлена тривожно-депресивним, астено-депресивним, депресивно-апатичним і дисфоричним варіантами.Отримані результати дозволили обґрунтувати доцільність медико-психологічного супроводу родини немовляти з важкою черепно-мозковою травмою, яка включає методи диференційованої психотерапії та психоосвіту

Aim: The complex study of features of emotional disorders in parents of children of the first year of life with a heavy craniocerebral trauma. Materials and methods. 137 families (mother and father) of children of the first year of life with craniocerebral trauma, examined and treated in a child’s neurosurgical department. The mean age of parents was 27,0±3,0 years.Methods of examination: anamnestic, psychodiagnostic with questionnaires of neuropsychic tension (T.A. Nemchyn, 1984), clinical scales of anxiety and depression (M. Hamіlton, 1967),adapted to ICD-10 (G. P. Panteleev, 1988), scale of situational and personal anxiety by D. Spilberg (adapted by Y.L. Hanin, 1981).Results of research. A child’s disease is a psychotraumatic situation for all parents and leads to the development of anxious-depressive reactions and statuses. The anxious-depressive, astheno-depressive, depressive-adaptive and dysphoric variants of emotional disorders in parents of babies with a heavy craniocerebral trauma were separated and their clinical features were described.The high level of emotional tension, abrupt intensification of negative emotions, effect of sorrow and anxiety, depressive manifestations are typical for parents of babies with a craniocerebral trauma. According to the data of the psychodiagnostic examination in parents were observed a light moderate depressive and anxious episodes by Hamilton scale; high levels of situational and personal anxiety by C.D. Spilberg’s method, high level of expressiveness of nervous-psychic tension by T.A. Nemchyn scale.Conclusions. Aim – to determine the peculiarities of asthenic syndrome in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2 in the clinical and medico-psychological context.Materials and methods. 543 patients with DM type 2 were examined. The first clinical group (CG-1) consisted of 57 patients with DM type 2 of mild severity; the average age in the group was (51.80 ± 1.28) years. The second clinical group (CG-2) was made up of 312 patients with DM type 2, moderate severity; the average age in the group was (55.10 ± 1.12) years. The third clinical group (CG-3) included 174 patients with DM type 2, severe degree of severity; the average age in the group was (the 61.80 ± 0.85) years.Research methods: clinical-anamnestic, clinical-psychopathological, statistical.Results. Asthenic syndrome was detected in 52.30 % of patients with DM type 2 and by the frequency of prevalence it ranked third – after dyssomnia and psychoorganic syndromes.A direct correlation of asthenic syndrome and the severity of DM type 2 (г = 0.68, p < 0.05) was established.Risk factors for the occurrence of asthenic syndrome in patients with DM type 2 were moderate and severe degrees of DM type 2, obesity, discirculatory encephalopathy, heart failure.In CG-1 and CG-2 the dominance of such a component of fatigue as "mental fatigue" was revealed, whereas the "physical fatigue" component has reached dominant values only in CG-3.Conclusions. The peculiarities of asthenic syndrome in patients with DM type 2, and the frequency of its occurrence among the investigated population were studied. Correlation of asthenic syndrome with severity of DM type 2 and concomitant somatic pathology were established. Organic etiology of asthenic syndrome in patients with DM type 2was proved. Обследовано 543 больных СД 2 типа. Первую клиническую группу (КГ-1) составили 57 больных СД 2 типа лёгкой степени тяжести; средний возраст в группе – (51,80 ± 1,28) года. Вторую клиническую группу (КГ-2) составили 312 больных СД 2 типа средней степени тяжести; средний возраст в группе – (55,10 ± 1,12) года. Третью клиническую группу (КГ-3) составили 174 больных СД 2 типа тяжёлой степени тяжести; средний возраст в группе – (61,80 ± 0,85) года.Методы исследования: клинико-анамнестический, клинико-психопатологический, статистический.Результаты. Астенический синдром выявлялся у 52,30 % больных СД 2 типа и по частоте распространённости занимал третье место – после психоорганического и диссомнического синдромов.Установлена прямая корреляционная связь астенического синдрома и степени тяжести СД 2 типа (г = 0,68, p < 0,05).Факторами риска возникновения астенического синдрома у больных СД 2 типа были средняя и тяжёлая степень СД 2 типа, ожирение, ДЭП, хроническая сердечная недостаточность.Выявлено доминирование в КГ-1 и КГ-2 такого компонента астении, как «психическая астения», тогда как компонент «физическая астения» достигал доминирующих значений только в КГ-3.Выводы. Исследованы особенности астенического синдрома у больных СД 2 типа и установлена частота его встречаемости среди исследуемого контингента. Установлены корреляционные связи астенического синдрома со степенью тяжести СД 2 типа, а также сопутствующей соматической патологией. Доказан органический генез астенического синдрома у больных СД 2 типа. Другу клінічну групу (КГ-2) становили 312 осіб, які хворі на ЦД 2 типу середнього ступеня тяжкості; середній вік у групі – (55,10 ± 1,12) року. Третю клінічну групу (КГ-3) становили 174 хворі на ЦД 2 типу важкого ступеня тяжкості; середній вік – (61,80 ± 0,85) року.Методи дослідження: клініко-анамнестичний, клініко-психопатологічний, статистичний. Результати. Астенічний синдром виявили в 52,30 % хворих на ЦД 2 типу та за частотою поширеності посідав третє місце – після психоорганічного та диссомнічного синдромів.Встановлений вірогідний прямий кореляційний зв’язок астенічного синдрому та ступеня тяжкості ЦД 2 типу (г = 0,68, p < 0,05).Факторами ризику виникнення астенічного синдрому у хворих на ЦД 2 типу був середній і тяжкий ступінь ЦД 2 типу, ожиріння, ДЕП, хронічна серцева недостатність.Встановлені прямі кореляційні зв’язки астенічного синдрому зі ступенем тяжкості ЦД 2 типу, а також коморбідною соматичною патологією.Виявлено домінування в КГ-1 і КГ-2 такого компонента астенії, як «психічна астенія», тоді як компонент «фізична астенія» сягав домінуючих значень тільки в КГ-3.Висновки. Дослідили особливості астенічного синдрому у хворих на ЦД 2 типу та встановили частоту його зустрічальності серед досліджуваного контингенту. Встановлено кореляційні зв’язки астенічного синдрому зі ступенем тяжкості ЦД 2 типу, а також супутньою соматичною патологією. Доведений органічний генез астенічного синдрому у хворих на ЦД 2 типу. Розширене уявлення про етапність розвитку астенічного синдрому у хворих на ЦД 2 типу.

У статті проаналізовано особливості фізіології та клініки перетренування в чоловіків і жінок. Показано, що в жінок-спортсменок перетретренування проявляється одночасно з нейровегетативною дистонією й роз-ладами гормональної системи. Унаслідок безперервного та посиленного тренування в організмі спортсменки вегетативні зміни значно більше виражені, ніж у чоловіків. Здатність до адаптації в жінок значно менша, лабільність більша й функціональні розлади різноманітніші внаслідок великої активності нейровегетативної системи. Психоматичне походження деяких розладів, перевтома, неприємності, порушення аферентної рів-новаги впливають на метаболізм щитоподібної залози, гіперактивність якої збільшує обмін речо¬вин. Раптові зміни, що виникають у спортсменки, досить тісно пов’язані з гормональними розладами та дисрегуляціями. Останні впливають не тільки на системи кровообігу й дихання, але й на перебіг інстинктивних відчуттів, на загальну поведінку та спортивні результати. Стан перетренування в чоловіків і жінок може бути правильно діагностований тільки після отримання всіх даних унаслідок комплексного лікарського обстеження, завдяки аналізу та синтезу різних показників, які відображають функціональний стан організму. Окремі ізольовано взяті ознаки, одержані навіть на основі досить складних клінічних методів дослідження, не дають підстави для достатньої оцінки стану перетренування. Спортивний лікар і тренер повинні все-таки профілактично попереджувати перетренування, ретельно стежити за фізичним та психічним станом спортсменів і дотримуватися досить обережного підходу до них, опираючись на дані клінічного аналізу та свого досвіду. Це відповідає інтересам кожного окремого спортсмена й усього спортивного колективу. Features of male and female physiology and clinics of their overtraining are analyzed in the article. Female athletes’ overtraining is manifested both in neurovegetative dystonia and hormonal disorders. Autonomic changes in the female athlete’s body are much more significant than in male, ability to adapt in women is much lower, their lability is larger and functional disorders are more different as a result of high activity of neurovegetative system due to continuous and intensive training. The psychosomatic background of some disorders, over-fatigue, troubles, problems of afferent balance have influence on thyroid gland metabolism whose hyperactivity causes increase of metabolic processes. Sudden changes occurring in athletes are closely associated with hormonal disorders and dysregulation. The last affects not only circulatory system and breathing but also on a level of instinctive feelings as well as on overall behavior and sports results. The condition of overtraining of men and women can be correctly diagnosed only after receiving all data, resulting in a comprehensive medical examination, through analysis and synthesis of different indicators reflecting functional state of a body. Taken individually, isolated signs and obtained even through very difficult clinical research methods do not provide grounds for adequate evaluation of ethane of overtraining. Doctors in sports medicine and coaches should still proactively prevent any overtraining, carefully monitoring physical and mental conditions of athletes and follow cautious approach to it relying on the clinical data analysis and their own experience. It is in interest of every single athlete and an entire sports team.
