Abstract

Uretero-arterial fistulas are rare and could be fatal if missed. Injuries that may lead to ureteral fistulas can occur during vascular surgery, ureteral instrumentation and percutaneous approaches to the kidney, ureter or retroperitoneum. Here we report a case of uretero-aortic fistula developed immediately after a percutaneous approach for the management of a urinoma due to a missed ureteral injury. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
