Objective: To report prenatal management and prognosis of a small series of ARSA (Aberrant Right Subclavian Artery) cases which were detected in the second trimester exam. Method: Computer based maternal-fetal medicine database of hospital was reviewed. Total 11 cases with ARSAfrom the 1859 singleton low risk pregnancies were identified. We reviewed medical records about diagnostic tests, pregnancy follow-up, delivery and neonatal exams. Results: Median maternal age of cases with isolated ARSA was 32 years old. Median gestational age at ultrasound scan was 21 weeks. All cases were isolated. All cases regretted invasive genetic diagnostic tests. Cell-free DNA (cell free DNA) tests were low risk in 7 of 11 casesPregnancy courses were uneventful in all cases and resulted in term uncomplicated delivery. No pathological finding was encountered in the neonatal examination. Conclusion: Prognosis is good in case of isolated ARSA diagnosis. Presence of ARSA is not only a marker for common trisomies also, it should be accepted as a caution for the conotruncal abnormalities of heart and 22q11.2 microdeletion. Cell free DNA test (Including 22q11.2 microdeletation) may an option for the who avoid invasive genetic test in case of positive ARSA, visualised thymus, optimally evaluated central nervous system and great vessels of heart.
