The study was carried out in order to take attention to the unconscious water use, the introduction of hazardous wastes and these wastes to water sources without treatment, the contamination of the lake waters and the rapid reduction of the water level in Turkey over many years. Land art was used in the study to raise awareness, especially on lake water withdrawal and water pollution. There are many lakes that have begun to dry up throughout the country, and this is most common in the Lake District. For this purpose, Burdur Lake, where the water level is rapidly decreasing and water pollution is very intense, has been chosen as the study area. A visual design program for the creation of land art proposals has been used as a tool in the realization of the work. As a result, it is aimed to raise awareness by drawing attention to Burdur Lake and similar qualified areas with the virtual application of land art, additionally ensure sustainability by taking care of conservation-use balance.
