Bu tez çalışması Batman Üniversitesi Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri (BAP) Koordinatörlüğü tarafından BTÜBAP-2016-YüksekLisans-2 nolu proje ile desteklenmiştir., Nikel aluminyum intermetalik bileşikleri son yıllarda geleneksel malzemelerin yerine birçok sektörde kullanılmaya başlanmış malzemeler olup, farklı çalışma koşullarına uygunlukları nedeniyle teknolojik anlamda cazip hale gelmişlerdir. Kendiliğinden ilerleyen yüksek sıcaklık sentezi (SHS) yöntemi ileri bir malzeme üretim tekniği olup her geçen gün hızla gelişmekte ve yayılmaktadır. En büyük avantajı sentezleme için devamlı bir enerji tüketimi gerekmemesi, dolayısıyla maliyetinin düşük olmasıdır. Yapılan tez çalışmasında amaç Ni3Al ve NiAl intermetalik bileşiklerinin SHS yöntemiyle sentezlenmesi ve belirli oranlarda mikronize bor tozu ilavesinin etkilerinin incelenmesi olmuştur. Yapılan incelemeler neticesinde bor tozu ilavesinin artmasıyla gözenekliliğin azaldığı ve malzemelerin mukavemetini öncelikle yükseldiği daha sonrasında düşürdüğü belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca tane boyutunu küçülttüğü ve mikrosertliği artırdığı belirlenmiştir., Nickel aluminum intermetallic compounds have been used in many sectors in recent years instead of conventional materials and have become technologically interesting due to their suitability at different operating conditions. Self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) is an advanced material manufacturing technique that is rapidly evolving and spreading. The biggest advantage of the process is that the continuous consumption of energy is not required for synthesis and therefore the operating cost is low. The aim of this study is to synthesize Ni3Al and NiAl intermetallic compounds by SHS method and to investigate the effects of boron addition at certain ratios. As a result of the investigations, it was determined that the boron addition reduced the porosity and decreased the strength of the samples after a certain amount. It has also been determined that boron addition reduces grain size and increases microhardness.

Bu çalışmada, Ni3Al/NiAl/NiTi bileşiklerinden oluşan fonksiyonel derecelenmiş malzeme(FDM) kendi kendine ilerleyen yüksek sıcaklık sentezlemesi (KKIYSS) tekniği ile üretilmiştir. Bu üç farklı bileşiği oluşturacak tozlar hassas bir şekilde tartıldıktan sonra mekanik olarak karıştırılmış ve 200 MPa basınçla preslenmiştir. Preslenen numuneler, 200, 300 ve 400 °C ön ısıtma sıcaklıklarında yüksek voltajlı tutuşturma yöntemi (YVTY) ile argon gazı atmosferinde ateşlenerek üretimi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Üretilen bu fonksiyonel derecelenmiş malzemelerin mikroyapıları optik mikroskop, Taramalı Elektron Mikroskobu (SEM) ve X-Işınları Kırınım Cihazı (XRD) ile incelenmiş. Sonuç olarak, KKIYSS yöntemi ile her üç ön ısıtma sıcaklığında da fonksiyonel derecelenmiş malzeme başarıyla üretilmiş ve istenen metaller arası bileşikler elde edilmiş ancak arakesitlerde daha fazla ergime ve boşluk ile birlikte ana fazlar dışında fazların da oluştuğu görülmüştür. In this study, a functional graded material (FGM) consisted of NiTi NiAl and Ni3Al were manufactured by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) technique. These three different compound powders were mixed in a rotating container after accurately weighed and cold compacted under 200 MPa pressure. These pressed samples were produced for 200, 300 and 400 ° C preheating temperature by igniting with high voltage under argon gas atmosphere. The microstructures of these functional graded materials were examined by microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Consequently, functional graded material successful generated by SHS in every three preheating temperature and the metallic desired compounds were obtained but, it was seen that apart from the main phases in the intersection there are other phases with more melting and gaps.
