Earthquakes are natural hazards that can lead to adverse outcomes. However, it is possible to prevent such hazards from turning into disasters through efficient disaster risk management. Therefore, the aim of the current study is to develop a measurement tool based on the Health Belief Model (HBM). We conducted item analysis and exploratory factor analysis in the first stage of the study, followed by confirmatory factor analysis in the second stage. In the two stages, the sample sizes were 176 and 577, respectively. In the first stage, we removed three items from the scale. The analyses revealed that the scale, comprising five factors and 11 items, explained 72% of the total variance. We named the factors perceived threat, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, cues to action, and health motivation. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency of the total scale was .70. The confirmatory factor analysis findings showed that χ2/df and RMSEA were within the acceptable fit range, while SRMR, CFI, GFI, and AGFI were within the good fit range. The confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the factor structure obtained from the exploratory factor analysis. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to determine the motivation of middle school students towards grammar. The study group consists of a total of 500 7th-grade students, including 264 girls and 236 boys, studying in various middle schools in the city center of Kars. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was initially conducted on the data collected to determine the factorial structure and validity study of the scale. As a result of the factor analysis, it was observed that the scale has a twofactor structure. Therefore, the scale data were limited to two factors and analyzed using the principal components method. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) statistic value of the scale was found to be 0.919, and the Bartlett's Test of Sphericity statistic value was χ2=6310.22; df=1081, p=0.000, indicating that it was significant and suitable for factor analysis. Item-total test correlations were calculated as evidence of item validity. It was determined that the item-test correlations ranged from 0.308 to 0.710. The Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient calculated to determine the reliability of the scale was found to be 0.948 for the total scale. The internal consistency coefficient of the high motivation factor of the scale was found to be 0.946, and the internal consistency coefficient of the low motivation factor was found to be 0.874, indicating high internal consistency. In this study, it was aimed to adapt the Cross-Cultural Psychological Capital Scale (CCPCS) to Turkish culture. The study was carried out on two samples and the first sample consisted of 214 undergraduate students participated in the Erasmus program. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was performed with this sample. The second sample group includes Turkish citizens who have been interacting with a foreign culture for at least 3 months abroad for any reason. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was performed with the data collected from this second sample group consisting of 249 people. Data from the sample groups were collected using an electronically designed questionnaire. As a result of the EFA, a measurement tool consisting of 3 factors and explaining 62.8% of the variance was obtained. By the way of DFA, 5 different alternative models were tried and the best fit goodness values was found in the corrected 4-factor theoretical model. This 4 factor is named as Cross-Cultural Hope, Cross-Cultural Self-Efficacy, Cross-Cultural Optimism and Cross-Cultural Resilience. The internal consistency reliability coefficient of the scale was calculated as 82, .93, .72, .92 on the basis of dimensions respectively. This study aims to evaluate the Turkish validity and reliability of The Personal Growth Initiative Scale developed by Zahid et al. (2023) in healthcare professionals. This study was applied to 343 healthcare professionals in a public hospital. The sample was determined by the quota sampling method, considering the profession criterion. The data within the scope of the research was collected by survey method The survey consisted of questions containing participant characteristics and the Personal Growth Initiative Scale developed by Zahid et al (2023). SPSS 26 and AMOS 24 software were used to evaluate the data. After language validity, content validity was evaluated Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and second level Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were used to evaluate the scale construct validity. Croribach Alpha (CA) and Composite Reliability (CR) coefficients were used to evaluate the scale reliability analysis. The Personal Growth Initiative Scale translated into Turkish was determined to have content (CVR>0.977) and construct validity (CMIN/DF=2,699; NFI=0,9I7, GFI=0,954, AGFI=9,4I, RMR=0,079). In addition, the Personal Growth Initiative Scale translated into Turkish had internal consistency. When the findings were examined, the participants' mean Personal Growth Initiative Scale score was 77.25-10.24 (min: 39.00; max: 95.00). The aim of this study is to adapt the workplace cyber incivility scale, which consists of 14 statements and 2 dimensions developed by Lim and Teo (2009), to both today and Turkish, and to study its validity and reliability. In the scale adaptation study, data were obtained from 2 separate samples. The first of these groups consists of academics (n=183), and the second consists of people working in three different sectors (n=202). For the validity of the scale, construct validity, convergent and divergent validities were performed. As a result of the validity analysis, 1 statement from the 14-statement scale was removed from the scale as a result of exploratory factor analysis. For criterion-related validity, the relationship between the total and dimensions of the scale and life satisfaction was examined and all relationships were found to be negative. For reliability analysis, the Cronbach Alpha (CA) coefficient of the first group and the Cronbach Alpha and Combined Reliability (CR) coefficients of the second group were examined. As a result of the reliability analysis of the scale, it was determined that it was a reliable scale in both groups. As a result of the study, it was determined that the cyber incivility scale at work is a scale compatible with the Turkish business world, consisting of 13 items and 2 dimensions. This study aims to develop a scale to assess parents' gender stereotypes towards children and to examine the psychometric properties of this scale. The research was conducted with two different parent samples (N = 597 and N = 306). Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses identified a total of 25 items under four different dimensions for girls and boys. Parents' expectations of their sons and daughters are divided into prescriptive and proscriptive in the context of gender stereotypes. The validity and reliability of the scale were supported by the conducted analyses. In this context, the scale emerges as a significant tool for understanding parental gender-based expectations for girls and boys in daily life and investigating the relationship of these expectations with the developmental process. The present study aims to empirically explore the brand loyalty of internal customers. In this context, business characteristics are included as independent variables, and brand characteristics and trust in the brand are included as serial mediators. The comprehensive framework for internal customers has the potential to offer a novel insight into the brand loyalty concept. Indeed, internal customers have more information about the products and the firm. In addition, they have more physical proximity than external customers. Due to these advantages, internal customers are likely to have a higher cognitive awareness of the company and the brand. This provides an important contextual argument to explain brand loyalty more precisely. To operationalize the model in this framework, survey research was conducted on employees working in different roles and positions in the automotive industry in Germany. The survey research collected a data set consisting of 880 units. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and hypothesis testing were conducted using SPSS 26.0 and Process Macro extension. The findings indicate that brand and company characteristics have a significant and positive effect on brand trust and brand loyalty. Trust in the brand, which is also a mediating variable, has a significant and positive effect on brand loyalty, which is the dependent variable. In addition, because of both Baron and Kenny's causality analysis and the mediation test conducted within the framework of contemporary Bootstrap methods, it is seen that trust in the brand has a full mediating role in the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. The aim of this study is to reveal the mediating role of trust/satisfaction in the effects of perceived service quality on student loyalty/commitment levels in health department students. Additionally, the Turkish versions of the perceived service quality and customer relationship management scales are aimed to be introduced to the national literature. The study population consisted of 790 students studying in the faculties of health sciences and business at Artvin Çoruh University. The sample consisted of 217 students who voluntarily participated in the survey. A research model has been developed within the scope of the literature. Accordingly, it is predicted that the mediating role of satisfaction/trust perceptions in the impact of university students' perceived service quality on their attachment/loyalty emotions will be present. The perceived service quality and customer relationship management scales were used in the study. As the original versions of the scales were in English, a Turkish version was created first. The research data was collected through face-to-face and online methods between 01.01.2023-20.01.2023. Descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and PATH analysis were performed for the data. Trust/satisfaction mediates the relationship between perceived service quality and student loyalty/commitment levels. Students' trust/satisfaction levels affect their loyalty/commitment, and the Turkish versions of perceived service quality and customer relationship management scales are reliable. Trust/satisfaction perceptions have been found to affect loyalty/commitment levels in addition to perceived education and department management. The aim of the research is to adapt the Postmortem Organ Donation Attitude Scale towards Turkish, and to realize its validity and reliability. As a method, the scale developed by Andrei (2012) is used to determine the postmortem organ donation attitude. After the application of the scale, explanatory and confirmatory factor analysis, convergent and divergent validity analyzes, and reliability analysis are performed. The sample of the study consists of 450 students studying in the field of health sciences who accepted to participate in the study. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin value of the scale is 0.898. According to the exploratory factor analysis result, the total explained variance value is 70.83%, with four sub-dimensions as in the original scale. Goodness of fit index values of the scale are good and acceptable. Convergent validity (CR>AVE; AVE>50) and divergent validity (MSV70 used in the reliability calculation are MaxR(H)>CR. In conclusion, the four-factor Turkish version of the Postmortem Organ Donation Attitude Scale is an appropriate scale to use. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The belief that individuals with special needs should receive their education in the same environment as their typically developing peers has been a topic of discussion worldwide for approximately the last fifty years. This idea has paved the way for the emergence of mainstreaming that have been evolving in Turkey since the 1990s until today. Mainstreaming are important within the scope of educational activities. In the process of mainstreaming, school counselors take an active role in the activities carried out and their qualifications are of great importance. Therefore, it is believed that the competencies of school counselors are crucial for the successful implementation of mainstreaming education. In this study, the "School Counselors' Competence Scale for Inclusion/Integration Education" was developed. For this purpose, it was carried out on 155 school counselors who are inclusion students at all levels affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In the study, Cronbach Alpha reliability analysis was performed together with exploratory factor analysis. As a result of the analysis, it exhibited a threedimensional structure: Peer, Stakeholders, and Expertise. In the first stage of the exploratory factor analysis study, a total of 53 items were evaluated within the scope of the analysis, and as a result of the analysis, 39 items formed the final form of the scale. As a result of the analysis, a three-dimensional scale format with an explained variance of 49.999% and a KMO value of .885 was reached. As a result of the analysis, Cronbach's α reliability coefficient of .969 shows that the reliability is high. On the premise of the scale scores obtained from this study, it will be possible to plan new studies in the literature. This study aims to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to determine teacher perceptions of unethical pro-organizational behavior of school administrators. School Administrators' Unethical Pro-Organizational Behavior Scale (SAUPBS), which was created as a result of the literature review and the opinions of field experts, is of the 5-point Likert type. Exploratory Factor Analysis (AFA) was performed to test the construct validity of the scale and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (DFA) was performed to test the validity of the structure formed by the resulting sub-dimensions. As a result of AFA, a measurement tool consisting of 21 items and 3 dimensions was obtained. The first sub-dimension of the scale is named "image", the second subdimension is called "finance" and the third sub-dimension is called "learning climate". On the scale, it was determined that there were three factors with an initial eigenvalue above 1, and the contribution of these three factors to variance was 65.47% in total. The DFA result was χ2/sd = 2.25, RMSEA= .067, RMR= .034, SRMR= .064 and CFI= .89. All compliance indices are acceptable. Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient; α = .975 for the scale whole, α = .945 for the image subdimension, α = .939 for the finance sub-dimension and α = .88 for the learning climate subdimension. The study tries to update the optimism which was scale developed by Balcı and Yılmaz (2002) through making validity and reliability analyses. The study group comprised 765 students, aged between 18 and 27, studying at two universities in the Central and Eastern Black Sea region (x̄=24.45, SS=2.41). This study utilized the construct validity of the testing tool via exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. During the testing process, this study benefited from the congruent validity, testings related to the meaning of authentic happiness. This study used reliability analyses for internal consistency and test split method. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, this study provided 19 items for the single factor structure of the testing tool. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis of the study, the single-component structure of the optimism scale was notified and it has been observed that the testing tool had the goodness of fit values within acceptable limits (χ² /df = 3.97, p < .000, GFI =. 88, AGFI=.84, IFI=.89, CFI=.89, RMR= .05, RMSEA=.08, SRMR=.68). On the other hand, the results obtained from the correlation analyses also have revealed that the testing tool provided congruent validity. Social media, which offers numerous opportunities to its users, also causes psychological problems such as fear of missing out. Individuals' attitudes and purchasing behaviours are subject to change due to the fear of missing out. Psychological, physiological, and social needs such as socialization, interaction, and communication must be satisfied for individuals to continue their lives. Social intelligence is an essential factor in satisfying social needs. Rational consumption behaviour is the consideration of factors such as reasonable price and appropriate quality in purchasing products and services. This study aims to determine whether social intelligence and FoMO on social media are effective in rational consumption behaviour. In line with this, 535 data were obtained by applying an online survey to social media users over 18 who engaged in consumption activities. Descriptive analyses, exploratory factor analyses, and multiple regression analyses were performed on data with the SPSS package program. In this study, it is aimed to adapt the User-Friendly Social Capital Scale in Volunteering (SCSV) to Azerbaijani and to carry out reliability studies in order to measure the social capital of volunteers. The study group of the scale consists of 495 adults who are adults for Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and participate in volunteering activities at least once a year in Azerbaijan. Bilingual equivalence studies of the scale were carried out. As a result of EFA, it was determined that it was the only factor that explained 59.40% of the total variance of 16 items in reliability studies. In the second study group of 466 adults for Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), model goodness of fit and all fit indices were found to be within appropriate ranges (χ2=433.34; df=101; χ2/df=4.29; RMSEA=.066; CFI=.94). On the other hand, in the reliability studies, Cronbach's Alpha value was α=.96; the two half-confidence values between the two forms was r1−2=.92; Guttmann split-half=.96; and Spearman Brown=.96. Wellbeing at work is defined as promoting and promoting health at work, preventing or minimizing health threats, maintaining and improving work skills. The aim of this study is to adapt the Turkish version of the A Short Questionnaire To Measure Wellbeing At Work (Short-SWELL) prepared by Smith & Smith (2017a) into Turkish to measure the well-being at work, and to carry out validity and reliability studies. The research data were collected from 452 healthcare professionals in a state hospital. The adapted scale was firstly analysed for language validity, then content validity, construct validity and reliability. According to the results of the Exploratory Factor Analysis, a two-factor structure explaining 67.11% of the total variance of the scale was obtained. Confirmatory Factor Analysis fit indices were as follows CMIN/df=3.885, RMSEA=0.08, NFI=0.953, CFI=0.964, AGFI=0.910, GFI=0.951, and the two-factor structure was confirmed. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, calculated to determine the reliability of the scale, was found to be 0.798. Within the scope of the research, it was concluded that the Short Version of the Well-being at Work Scale is a measurement tool that can be used to assess the level of well-being at work among healthcare workers in Turkish culture. In this study, the Multidimensional Students' Life Satisfaction Scale developed by Huebner (1994) and used in research on life satisfaction of individuals aged 8-18, was adapted to Turkish culture. The sample group consists of 931 children determined by using appropriate sampling method from 5-6- year-old children attending preschool education in Aydın. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, it was concluded that the scale consisted of a single factor and nine items that explained 45.47% of the total variance. According to confirmatory factor analysis, it was seen that the structure of the scale was confirmed. The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of the scale is 0.847. Accordingly, it was concluded that the scores obtained from the measurement tool called Life Satisfaction Scale (Child Form) are valid and reliable. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this study, the validity and reliability analysis findings of the scale of view on religion for today's youth are discussed. The aim of the study is to consider the view of the youth towards religion at the level of theoretical (belief), sociological (transaction), institutional (religious authority), individual (individual spirituality) and religious sympathy, and to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to measure the youth's view of religion in the light of these factors. In the research, questionnaire technique of the quantitative research method and the relational survey technique were used together. The sample group of the research consists of 489 university students studying at Ordu University. This study includes only university youth and the 18-24 age range who generally participate in the research. While 94.3% of the participants are between the ages of 18-23, only 5.6% are aged 24 and over. Expert opinion was taken for content validity, Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor analyzes were performed fr construct validity. SPSS 26 program for Exploratory Factor Analysis; The AMOS 22 program was used for Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Cronbach's Alpha (0.948) and McDonald's Omega (0.954) values used for reliability analysis showed that the scale was highly reliable. As a result of the research, a scale that explains 70.80% of the variance consisting of 29 items with five factors, which we call religious belief, religious conduct, trust in religious authority, sympathy for religious people, and individual spirituality. While a maximum of 145 points is obtained from the scale, a minimum of 29 points is taken. A score close to 145 on the Young People's View of Religion scale indicates that the view of religion is at a positive level; scores close to 29 indicate a negative view of religion. The purpose of this study is to examine the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Revised Parenting Behavior Inventory (R-PBI). This study was conducted with 1049 parents from Kütahya, Sivas, and Uşak provinces. The psychometric properties of the scale were investigated by test re-test, Cronbach's alpha, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and concurrent validity methods. In order to evaluate the measuredependent validity of the scale, the Family Harmony Scale-Short Form and Parental Attitude Research Instrument were used. According to the results of confirmatory factor analysis, the three-dimensional model (Warmth, Control, Hostility) was an acceptable fit [CMIN=1244.94, df=402 CMIN/df =3.097; (p=.00), RMSEA=.083, CFI=.89, GFI=.88, TLI=.84, SRMR=.076]. In addition, Item factor loads ranged from 33 to .88. In the concurrent validity, Subscales of R-PBI have significant relationships with Family Harmony Scale and The Parental Attitude Research Instrument (PARI). The Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient was found as a=.96 for Warmth subscale, a=.85 for Control subscale, and a=.93 for Hostility subscale. The corrected item-total correlations of the R-PBI ranged from .34 to.92. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to reveal geography teachers' knowledge of place names. A systematic approach was followed to develop the measurement tool. In line with this purpose, the study was carried out in accordance with the methods of the research. The form created in the 2020-2021 academic year was applied to a total of 457 geography teachers working in secondary schools across Turkey who were contacted by the accessible sampling method and volunteered to participate in the survey. Both exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted on the sample group. As a result of descriptive analysis, it was determined that the scale consists of 17 items and 3 sub-dimensions. The dimensions of the developed scale are named as length-depth level, geographical education relationship of place names and culture-affiliation relationship of place names. The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient for the entire scale is .89, while the Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient for each sub-dimension is between .83 and .86. (first factor related to .83, second factor related to .86 and third factor related to .84). A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted as part of the validity of the scale. The result of the analysis confirmed a 3-factor structure. In conclusion, it was revealed that the scale measures the attitude towards place names in a valid and reliable way. A valid and reliable scale was developed that can be used to determine the attitudes of geography teachers about place names.
