The aim of this research study is to investigate the social appearance anxiety and self-esteem levels of students who studying at the Tourism Faculty of Balikesir University according to some variables and to determine the relationship between them. As a data collection tool, “Social Appearance Anxiety Scale and “Self Esteem Scale” were used in the study. A survey has been implemented to 584 students, studying tourism guiding and tourism management in the study. As a result of the research, the students' social appearance anxiety and self-esteem levels did not differ significantly from gender, division, class, and age variables, but differ significantly from social activity, sport, campus, weight and height variables. In addition, a significant and negative relationship was found between the social appearance anxiety and self-esteem levels of the students.

The aim of this study is to determine the change in their perception of existing media literacy with the application of the media literacy education model developed for social studies, teacher candidates. The study is patterned as action research. The participants of the study consist of fourteen girls and six boys 20 social studies pre-service teachers who are also students’ third class at Marmara University Faculty of Ataturk Education. "Criterion sampling” was used to determine the participants. It was shown that media literacy can be associated with social studies lessons. The data of the study was obtained through 2N (I knew what?) preliminary perception and 2N (What did you learn?) final perception form, focus group interview, compositions, and individual interviews. A semi-structured interview form was used for interviews. According to the findings from the study teacher candidates ‘negative perceptions of media literacy towards them before the education change positively after education given. In the same way, the perception of the media literacy course, which was very little at the beginning, increased significantly after education. The education provided has increased the positive thinking of teacher candidates about their media literacy skills. The result is that it makes them more conscious and critical about MOY and their perception of the effectiveness of the MOY education they attend is quite high. Finally, various suggestions have been made to improve the perceptions of media literacy of teacher candidates with the results obtained from the study., Bu araştırmada, sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adayları için geliştirilen medya okuryazarlığı eğitimi modelinin uygulanmasıyla birlikte onların medya okuryazarlığına ilişkin algılarındaki değişikliğin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma nitel araştırma desenlerinden eylem araştırmasına göre desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği 3. Sınıfına devam eden on dört kız, altı erkek toplam yirmi (20) öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcıların belirlenmesinde amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden “ölçüt örnekleme” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri 2N (Ne biliyordum?) ön algı ve 2N (Ne öğrendim?) son algı formu, odak grup görüşmesi, kompozisyonlar ve bireysel görüşmeler yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Görüşmeler için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretmen adaylarının eğitimden önce kendilerine yönelik medya okuryazarlığı ile ilgili olumsuz algıları, verilen eğitimden sonra olumlu yönde değişme göstermektedir. Öğretmen adaylarının başlangıçta çok az olan medya okuryazarlığı (MOY) dersine yönelik algıları ise eğitim sonrası belirgin oranda artmıştır. Verilen eğitimin öğretmen adaylarının kendilerine yönelik medya okuryazarlığı becerileri ile ilgili olumlu düşüncelerini artırdığı, onları MOY konusunda daha bilinçli ve eleştirel düşünmeye sevk ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Benzer şekilde, öğretmen adaylarının katıldıkları MOY eğitiminin etkililiğine ilişkin algılarının oldukça yüksek olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre öğretmen adaylarının medya okuryazarlığı algılarını geliştirici çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Öz:Çalışma şatları ve öğrenme yaklaşımları, verilen eğitim sonuçlarınıartırabilir veya zayıflatabilir. Bu nedenle eğitimcilerin öğrencilerinin çalışmaşartları ve öğrenme yaklaşımları hakkında bilgi sahibi olmaları oldukçaönemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı muhasebe derslerinden en az bir tanesi almışolan öğrencilerin öğrenme yaklaşımlarının demografik ve belirlenendeğişkenler ile arasında bir farklılaşmanın olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Buamaç doğrultusunda Dicle Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 1828 öğrenciye yüzyüze anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere “t” testi ve tek yönlüvaryans analizi (one-way Anova) yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda öğrencilerinderin öğrenme eğilimleri ile yaş, sınıf, mezun olunan lise, bölüm ve muhasebederslerini tekrar etme sıklığı arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğutespit edilmiştir. Yüzeysel öğrenme eğilimleri ile cinsiyet, mezun olunan lise,tercih sırası ve muhasebe derslerini tekrar etme sıklığı arasında istatistikiolarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Stratejik öğrenme eğilimleri ileyaş, sınıf, mezun olunan lise, tercih sırası ve muhasebe derslerini tekrar etmesıklığı arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Sonuç olarak öğrencilerin stratejik öğrenme yaklaşımına daha eğimli olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Abstract: Working conditions and learning approaches can increase or weaken the results of education. For this reason, educators must know working conditions and learning approaches of their students. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference between the learning approaches of students who have taken at least one of the accounting courses with demographic variables and some variables. For this purpose, face to face questionnaire was applied to 1828 students studying at Dicle University. The results were obtained by applying “t” test and one-way ANOVA analysis were performed on the data. As a result of the study, it was determined that there was a statistically significant relationship between the students' deep learning tendencies and the frequency of repeating age, class, graduated high school, department and accounting courses. It was found that there is a statistically significant relationship between superficial learning tendencies and gender, high school graduation, order of preference and frequency of repetition of accounting courses. It was found that there was a statistically significant relationship between strategic learning tendencies and age, class, high school graduation, order of preference and frequency of repetition of accounting courses. As a result, it is determined that students are more inclined to strategic learning approach.

Metin üretme çalışmaları, mevcut cümlelerin analiz edilerek yeni bilgi çıkarımlarının yapıldığı, varolan bir bilgiden yola çıkarak bununla bağlantılı anlamlı bilgilerin elde edildiği sistemlerdir. Bu sistemler, özellikle internet üzerinden yapılan aramalarda girilen cümlelerin türetilerek kullanıcılara arama sonuçları ile ilgili daha anlamlı sonuçlar döndürebilmek gibi kolaylıklar sağlarlar. Bir metin üretici geliştirmek için, doğal dilin kaynaklarını tanımlayacak bir dilbilim teorisine ve bu kaynakları bilgisayar ortamında işleyecek bir yazılım aracına ihtiyaç vardır. Bu çalışmada, kaynak veri kümesindeki cümlelerden sınıf tabanlı n-gram modeli kullanılarak Türkçe dil yapısına uygun anlamlı ve yeni cümleler oluşturulması hedeflenmiştir. Cümle üretimini gerçekleştirmek için trigram modeli önerilmiş ve bu model kural tabanlı yaklaşım ile birlikte kullanılmak için geliştirilmiştir.Bu çalışmada kullanılan yöntem ile diğer kullanılan yöntemlerden farklı olarak, üçlü kelime grupları şeklinde ayrılan gruplardan belirlenen kurallar çerçevesinde, art arda ekleme yöntemiyle anlamlı ve farklı cümleler üretilmesi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Böylece kaynak metin dosyasındaki kelime ya da kelime gruplarından ilişkili olduğu grup sayısı kadar farklı cümleler birbirine bağlanarakyeni metinler oluşturulmuştur.

The aim of the present research was to evaluate preschool curriculum by Stufflebeam’s Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) Evaluation Model. Mixed method and explanatory design was used in the study. The quantitative dimension of study was conducted with 124 preschool education teachers in 2016-2017 academic year in Van/Turkey. On the other hand, interviews were conducted with 15 preschool teachers so as to explain the quantitative data in more detail, and observations were carried out in a typical preschool class. Preschool Curriculum Evaluation Scale, a semi-structured interview form and an observation form were used as data collection tools. As a result of the study, the dimension in which teachers expressed the most negative opinion was determined as context. Teachers at this dimension stated that the physical infrastructure of preschool education institutions was not appropriate and that regional conditions were not sufficiently taken into account during the development of the curriculum. Regarding the input dimension, it was stated that the family factor and the individual differences of the children were not considered sufficiently in the curriculum. Regarding the process dimension, it has emerged that studies the least done were the implementation of qualified home practices, assessment studies and the addition or removal of learning centers as needed. In the product dimension, the curriculum was usually effective only when it was not effective enough to solve family-related problems., Bu çalışmanın amacı okul öncesi eğitim programının Stufflebeam’in bağlam, girdi, süreç ve ürün değerlendirme modeline göre değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırmada karma araştırma yöntemi desenlerinden açıklayıcı desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel verileri 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında Van il merkezi ve ilçelerindeki MEB’e bağlı okul öncesi eğitim kurumları ve ilkokul bünyesindeki anasınıflarında görev yapan 124 okul öncesi öğretmeninden elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca, 27 çocuk ve bir okul öncesi öğretmenden gözlem verileri, 15 okul öncesi öğretmeninden görüşme verileri toplanmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Okul Öncesi Eğitim Programı Değerlendirme Ölçeği”, “gözlem formu” ve “yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu” kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, öğretmenlerin en olumsuz görüş belirttiği boyut bağlam olarak tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenler bu boyutta özellikle okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarının fiziki altyapılarının uygun olmadığını ve programın geliştirilmesi sürecinde bölgesel koşulların yeterince dikkate alınmadığını belirtmişlerdir. Girdi boyutu ile ilgili olarak, programda aile faktörünün ve çocukların bireysel farklılıklarının yeterince dikkate alınmadığı belirtilmiştir. Süreç boyutunda, nitelikli ev uygulamalarının yapılması, değerlendirme çalışmalarının yapılması ve ihtiyaç durumunda öğrenme merkezlerin eklenmesi/çıkarılması en az yapılan çalışmalar olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Ürün boyutunda ise programın genellikle etkili olduğu, sadece aileden kaynaklı sorunların çözümünde yeterince etkili olamadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

İşbirliğine dayalı öğrenme yardımlaşmaya dayanır ve yardımlaşmayı temele alan ve bazı yönlerden farklılaşan birçok işbirlikli öğrenme tekniği vardır. Yeni bir teknik olan Etkin Yardımlaşma Tekniği (EYT)'nin diğerlerinden en önemli farkı, yardımlaşmanın belli bir sistematiğe bağlanması ve öğretim esnasında öğretmenin de her grubun bir üyesi kabul edilerek daha çok bilenden daha az bilene doğru bir yardımlaşma zincirinin oluşturulmasıdır. Bu özel durum çalışmasında EYT ile öğretim yapılmış olan bir 5. sınıf matematik dersinden yansımalar sunmak amaçlanmıştır. Böylece EYT’nin kullanıldığı öğrenme ortamı ile işbirlikli öğrenme ortamlarının benzerliği araştırılmış olacaktır. Uygulama boyunca sınıf gözlemlenerek öğretmen tarafından günlük tutulmuş ve uygulama sonunda öğrencilerle odak grup görüşmesi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz neticesinde öğrencilerin hem akademik hem de sosyal anlamda kazanımlar elde ettikleri ve bütün öğrencilere dönüt ve düzeltme sağlandığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca yardım, dönüt ve düzeltme alan öğrencilerin motivasyonlarının arttığı ve eksiği giderilen, yanlışı düzeltilen öğrencinin öğrenmesinin kesintiye uğramadığı gibi daha istekli bir şekilde öğrenmeye devam ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın genel sonucu olarak EYT’nin kullanıldığı öğrenme ortamı ile işbirlikli öğrenme ortamlarının oldukça benzer olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır., The essence of cooperative learning is synergy, and many cooperative learning techniques are found based on synergy and that differ from one another in certain ways. The main difference in the new effective cooperation technique (ECT) from other techniques is that it relies on helping based on certain systematics and it generates a chain of cooperation starting from those who know more to those who know less by accepting that the teacher is also a member of each group during teaching. The aim of this case study is to present reflections from a 5th-Grade Mathematics Class using ECT. Thus the study will investigate the similarities between a learning environment using ECT and cooperative learning environments. During the study, the class was observed, the teacher kept a diary, and focus-group interviews were made with the students after the application. The data have been analyzed using descriptive analysis. Regarding the analysis, the students are determined to have gained both academic and social acquisitions, with feedback and corrections being provided to all students. In addition, the motivation of students who had received help, feedback, and corrections is determined to have increased; the learning of students who had received corrections for a mistake and whose missing points had been eliminated is determined to not have been interrupted and that they continued to learn more enthusiastically. A general result of the research has found that rather high similarities between the learning environment using ECT with cooperative learning environments.

Çalışmanın amacı açık alan etkinliklerinin okul öncesi dönemdekiçocukların bilimsel süreç becerilerine olan etkisini araştırmaktır. Ön test-sontest kontrol gruplu modelin kullanıldığı araştırmada çalışma grubunu 6 yaşgrubu toplam 14 çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarakAyvacı (2010) tarafından geliştirilen ‘Bilimsel Süreç Becerileri Testi’kullanılmıştır. ‘Bilimsel Süreç Becerileri Testi’nden elde edilen sonuçlararasında açık alan etkinliklerinin çocukların gözlem yapma, sınıflama ve ölçmebecerilerini geliştirmede sınıf içi etkinliklerden daha etkili olduğugörülürken, açık alan etkinliklerinin çocukların tahmin etme ve sonuç çıkarmabecerilerini geliştirmede sınıf içi etkinliklerden daha etkili olmadığısonucuna ulaşılmıştır., This study aims to research the effect of outdooractivities on scientific process skills of preschool children. In this studywhich is used pretest-posttest-control group model, the study group consists of14 children, who are 6 years old. ‘Scientific Process Skills Test’ which wasdesigned by Ayvacı (2010) was used as data collection tool. Among resultsobtained from the ‘Scientific Process Skills Test’, outdoor activities werefound more effective in developing observation, classification and measuring skillsof children compared to class activities. However outdoor activities weren’tfound more effective in developing forecasting and inferring skills of childrencompared to class activities.

The purpose of the study is to determine the opinions of teachers about professional learning community (PLC) practices, and examine the change caused by this practice on their constructivist lesson planning skills, constructivist lesson plans (CLP) and constructivism comprehensions. In the research, the professional learning community practice being carried out regarding preparation of constructivist lesson planning in an eight weeks period has been addresses as case study. Four class teachers, serving at the level of primary school, have been determined as the participants of the study. Data has been collected through focus group meetings, metaphors and document review. In the research, the results obtained before and after the practice have been analyzed by descriptive analysis method. The metaphors formed by the teachers have been tabulated, coding has been made for the metaphors and the explanations -relevant to the metaphors formed- have been provided by direct citation. The “Lesson Plan Rubric” has been used in order to assess the lesson plans prepared before and after the practice. As the result of the research, it has emanated that the teachers have positive opinions regarding professional learning community, and that this practice creates a change towards constructivist comprehension in lesson plans. Depending on the obtained results, suggestions have been brought., Çalışmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin mesleki öğrenme topluluğu uygulamalarına ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi ve bu uygulamanın yapılandırmacı ders planı hazırlama becerisi ile yapılandırmacılık ve yapılandırmacı ders planı anlayışlarında oluşturduğu değişimin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada sekiz haftalık bir süreçte yapılandırmacı anlayışa dayalı ders planı hazırlama konusunda yürütülen mesleki öğrenme topluluğu uygulaması örnek olay olarak ele alınmıştır. İlkokul düzeyinde görev yapmakta olan dört sınıf öğretmeni çalışmanın katılımcıları olarak belirlenmiştir. Odak grup görüşmeleri, metaforlar ve doküman incelemesi yoluyla veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmada uygulamadan önce ve sonra yapılan odak grup görüşmelerinden edinilen veriler, betimsel analiz yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Oluşturulan metaforlar tablolaştırılmış, kodlanmış ve metaforlara ait açıklamalar doğrudan alıntı ile verilmiştir. Uygulamadan önce ve sonra hazırlanan ders planlarını değerlendirmek için "Ders Planı Puanlama Anahtarı" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğretmenlerin mesleki öğrenme topluluğuna ilişkin olumlu görüşleri olduğu ve bu uygulamanın ders planlarında yapılandırmacı anlayışa doğru bir değişim yarattığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara bağlı olarak öneriler getirilmiştir.

This study aims to identify the effect of setting a purpose for listening as an advance organizer on listening comprehension. The participants of the research, which was conducted by quasi-experimental design including a control group, consisted of 66 students at the age of 5, all of whom attending pre-school institutions. The data pertaining to the research was collected by the use of informational and narrative texts which were developed in line with the expert opinions as well as open-ended questions prepared in relation to these texts. The activities developed in line with the texts were carried out with different groups. On one hand, first experimental and control groups were given informational texts, while, on the other, second experimental and control groups were given narrative texts. Since the participants were comprised of children aged 5, the pretest and posttest measurements were performed twice by means of different texts and questions with a view to providing evidence. After reading the texts used for the pretest phase, face-to-face interviews were carried out with the participants and the prepared questions were asked. As a result of the pretest measurement, it was determined that the groups showed same level of listening comprehension. Subsequently, the experimental procedures were carried out. The listening comprehension tests, which were conducted twice a week throughout ten class hours for five weeks, were administered to the experimental group who was given a specific purpose at the beginning of the introduction as well as body of the text. The same experiment, however, was performed without the element of purpose-setting for the control group. Following the experiments, posttests were carried out with similar texts and equivalent questions designed in line with these texts used during the pretest phase. The equivalency of the texts and questions were identified with the assistance of expert opinions. The answers of the participants were examined by two analyzers. Conformity coefficient between the analyzers was obtained as 1,0. The answers obtained as a result of the analysis were transferred to statistical software. In the analysis carried out via the statistical software, Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test were utilized as non-parametric techniques. The findings obtained revealed that the existence of a purpose for listening has a positive effect on comprehending informational and narrative texts through listening. This effect showed a level of significance in terms of statistics., Bu araştırmada bir ön örgütleyici olarak amaç belirleme stratejisinin dinlediğini anlama üstündeki etkisini saptamak amaçlanmıştır. Kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desende yürütülen araştırmanın katılımcılarını okulöncesi eğitim kurumlarında öğrenimlerini sürdüren beş yaş grubu 66 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda belirlenen bilgilendirici ve kurmaca türde metinler ve bu metinlere ilişkin hazırlanan açık uçlu sorularla toplanmıştır. Belirlenen metinlerle yapılan çalışmalar farklı gruplar üstünde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bilgilendirici metinleri alan bir deney ve kontrol grubu yanında kurmaca metinleri alan farklı bir deney ve kontrol grubu araştırmada yer almıştır. Katılımcıların beş yaş grubu çocuklardan oluşması nedeniyle öntest ve sontest ölçümleri, kanıt üretmek amacıyla farklı metin ve sorular üstünden iki kez yapılmıştır. Öntestte kullanılan metinler okunduktan hemen sonra katılımcılarla yüz yüze görüşmelere geçilmiş ve hazırlanan sorular yöneltilmiştir. Öntest ölçümünün ardından grupların dinlediğini anlamada denk olduğu saptanmış ve uygulamalara geçilmiştir. Haftada iki kez yapılan ve toplamda beş hafta süren on derslik uygulamalarda deney grubuna metnin başında ve ortasında birer amaç verilerek dinlediğini anlama çalışması yapılmıştır. Aynı çalışmalar, kontrol gruplarında herhangi bir amaç belirlenmeden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulamalardan sonra sontestler yapılmıştır. Sontesler, öntestlerde kullanılanlara benzer metinler ve bu metinlere göre hazırlanan eşdeğer sorularla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Metinlerin ve soruların eşdeğerliği uzman görüşleriyle belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların yanıtları iki değerlendirmeci tarafından çözümlenmiştir. Değerlendirmeciler arasındaki uyuşum katsayısı 1,0 olarak bulunmuştur. Çözümlemeler sonucunda elde edilen yanıtlar istatistik programına aktarılmıştır. İstatistik programında gerçekleştirilen çözümlemelerde parametrik olmayan tekniklerden Mann Whitney U ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar testi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, amaç belirleme stratejisinin bilgilendirici ve kurmaca metinlerin dinleme yoluyla anlaşılmasında olumlu bir etkisinin olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Bu etki istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı düzeydedir.

Many researches have been conducted about how learning occurs for years. Educators have tried to organize teaching-learning process in accordance with the brain researches and “brain-based learning” concept has emerged. Although neuroscience studies confirm that there is a relationship between brain and learning, it is also stated that making generalizations about how teaching should be in class can be risky. This study is aimed to present a methodological analysis on the brain based studies in Turkey. Teaching activities used in this study have also been analyzed. Accordingly, postgraduate thesis and articles in Turkey were analyzed and evaluated with a rubric according to these categories: the suitability of the method to the research problems, whether the scientific method is applied properly or not (population and sample selection, identification of variables, conducting the experimental process, suitability of the measurement tool to the aim of the research, reliability and validity studies, findings, results and recommendations) and the suitability of findings to the research problems. Criteria were determined for each category in the rubric and rated as poor, fair, and excellent. According to the results, it was found that examined studies were generally evaluated as fair methodologically. Teaching activities were exemplified, weaknesses and strengths of the studies were discussed., Uzun yıllardır, öğrenmenin nasıl gerçekleştiğine ilişkin birçok çalışma yapılmıştır. Eğitimciler beyin araştırmaları bulguları doğrultusunda öğretme-öğrenme sürecini düzenlemeye çalışmışlardır ve bunun sonucu olarak “beyin temelli öğrenme” kavramı doğmuştur. Sinirbilim alanındaki çalışmalar beyin ve öğrenme arasında bir ilişki olduğunu doğrulasa da sınıflarda öğretimin nasıl olması gerektiği hakkında genellemeler yapmanın riskli olduğu da belirtilmiştir. Bu araştırmada, Türkiye’deki beyin temelli öğrenme araştırmalarının metodolojik olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Aynı zamanda bu çalışmalarda kullanılan öğretim etkinlikleri de analiz edilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda, Türkiye’deki lisansüstü tezler ve makaleler dereceli puanlama anahtarı aracılığıyla şu kategorilere göre analiz edilip değerlendirilmiştir: araştırma yönteminin araştırma sorularına uygunluğu; bilimsel yöntemin uygun şekilde izlenip izlenmediği (evren ve örneklem seçimi, değişkenlerin belirlenmesi, deneysel sürecin yürütülmesi, ölçme araçlarının araştırma amacına uygunluğu ve geçerlik-güvenirliği, yapılan analizler, bulgular, sonuçlar ve öneriler) ve bulguların araştırma sorularına uygunluğu. Dereceli puanlama anahtarında her kategori için ölçütler belirlenmiş ve zayıf, orta ve mükemmel olarak derecelendirilmiştir. Sonuçlara göre, analiz edilen çalışmaların metodolojik açıdan genellikle orta düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretim etkinlikleri örneklendirilmiş ve çalışmaların güçlü ve zayıf yönleri tartışılmıştır.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinin derse katılım düzeylerini belirleyebilecek bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Bu çalışma, 17-25 yaşları arasında yer alan (yaş ortalaması 20.79 ve standart sapması 2.06 olan) lisans öğrenimi gören 209 (105 kadın ve 104 erkek ) üniversite öğrencisi üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada, Alan Genel Algılanan Kontrol ölçeği ve açık uçlu sorular aracılığı ile veriler toplanmıştır. Çalışmada, açımlayıcı faktör analizi, korelasyon analizi ve bazı güvenirlik analizleri yapılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, derse genel olarak katılım ölçeği ve belirli bir derse katlım ölçeği olmak üzere üçer boyutlu iki katılım ölçeğine ulaşılmıştır. Ölçeklerin boyutları; duygusal katılım, bilişsel katılım ve davranışsal katılım olarak isimlendirilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre geliştirilen ölçeklerin güvenirlik ve geçerlik değerleri kabul edilebilir sınırlar içerinde bulunmuştur. Geliştirilen ölçekle ilerleyen süreçte çeşitli araştırmalar yapılabilir ve bu ölçek öznel iyi oluşu artırma programlarında kullanılabilir.

Bu araştırmanın amacı drama dersi uygulamaları ile ilgili olarak eğitim fakültesi ilköğretim sınıf öğretmenliği programı öğrencilerinin görüşlerini tespit etmektir. Araştırmada, 12 hafta boyunca iki saat teorik iki saat uygulama olarak araştırmacı tarafından uygulanan ders ile ilgili öğrencilerin görüşlerini ortaya koymak amacıyla anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, drama dersi uygulamalarının öğretmen adaylarının sosyal ve duygusal gelişimlerine olumlu katkı sağladığı gibi cinsiyet değişkenine göre; eleştirel düşünme, farklı olaylarla ilgili birikimler kazanma, daha rahat iletişim kurma ve dramayı öğretmenlik hayatında kullanma görüşlerinde kızlar lehine; adayların kaldıkları yer değişkenine göre ise Kredi Yurtlar Kurumunda kalanlar lehine anlamlı farklılık görülmüştür., This study aims to determine the views of the students attending education faculty, primary teaching program about drama class applications. The research was conducted in a survey model, and the participants of the research consist of 3rd grade students at primary teaching department of education faculty at Adiyaman university in 2011-2012 academic year and attending the drama lectures given by the research-er. The conclusions showed that drama class applications had positive contribution to social and emotional development of teacher candidates; as for the views of criti-cal thinking, experience acquisition through various activities, communication and applying drama in their prospective career, significant difference was observed in favor of female teacher candidates on the basis of gender variable; and on the basis of accommodation variable, significant differences were also observed in favor of the teacher candidates abiding in State dormitories.

There are a number of people putting forward the viewpoint that there is a significant relationship between the comprehensibility of texts and the student’s level of achievement in Turkish and Mathematics lessons. It is because of this fact that texts are to be appropriate to the level of the students. At this point, many learning-teaching principles have been proposed. Moreover, the text should be in line with the rules relating to inference, abstraction, level, schema, material organization, exercise and visual system in that both the comprehensibility and pedagogically of the text may be based on these rules to some extent. Apart from these, there is a mathematical model both designed and presented by Sönmez (2003) relevant to the comprehensibility of texts. The question of the research is the mathematical way suggested by Sönmez (2003) effective in determining the comprehensibility of the texts from the third year to the eight year at primary schools?, İlköğretim Okulu 3. sınıftan 8. sınıfa kadar metinlerin anlaşılabilir olmasını saptamada Sönmez tarafından önerilen matematiksel yol etkili midir? 1.Öğrencilerin Türkçe yıl sonu başarı notu ile şifresiz olarak sunulan metinden aldıkları puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki yoktur. 2.Öğrencilerin matematik yıl sonu başarı notu ile şifresiz olarak sunulan metinden aldıkları puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki yoktur. 3. Sınıf düzeyiyle metnin anlaşılırlığı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki yoktur. Metinlerin anlaşılırlığı ile sınıf, matematik ve Türkçe dersindeki başarı ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. Eğitim ortamında Sönmezin önerdiği matematiksel model kullanılabilir. Daha geniş bir örneklem üzerinde deneysel araştırmalar yapılabilir.

Bela Bartok had some compilations of folk music in Turkey in 1936 and discovered a class of Turkish melody which showed similarities with a class of Hungarian folk music. Some classes of melodies consist of just a few melodies because Bartok deducted the attained results from very little material. In this paper, a great number of Turkish folk melodies were investigated and the criteria of classification were reviewed.
