Introduction: The choice to be vaccinated results from the environment (physical, biological and social) and the health services provided, rather than the personal decisions of the individual s/guardians. In the study, it is aimed to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes of teachers, who are one of the occupational groups that can lead the society in developing countries such as Turkey, and the level of vaccine reliability. Materials and Methods: This study is a cross-sectional study conducted in the city center of Eskişehir in the first semester of the 2020 academic year. Schools in the province were stratified as primary and secondary schools. The number of schools to be selected was determined by considering the layers' weights. From the list of schools, nine primary schools, 12 secondary schools were chosen by random sampling, and 21 schools were selected. Seven hundred fifty-two teachers working in schools chosen and agreeing to participate in the study were included. Results: There was a weak positive correlation (r=0.277, p=<0.001) between the total scores of the participants on the Vaccine Confidence Scale (VCS) and the total scores from the knowledge questions (r=0.277, p=<0.001), and there was a moderate positive correlation between the total scores from the attitude questions (r=0.440, p=<0.001). Conclusion: In the study, it was shown that teachers' knowledge about vaccines is not very high. Still, their confidence about vaccines increases with the training to be given and expanding their knowledge level. It is believed that social immunization will gain momentum with the appointment of teachers at the forefront in the dissemination of vaccination programs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aim: In this study, the attitudes of teaching staff of Faculty of Medicine, Dicle University, in the 2005-2006 academic year about technology was intended to be examined. This research is a study on how teaching staff are affected with their different characteristics. Materials and Methods: Our study 224 persons were taken. Of the persons, 68 were professor, 40 were Assoc Professor, 44 were Assistant Professors, 58 were research assistants and 14 were expert. In our study, how the attitude variables were connected to the dependent (target) variables was determined. The emergence of attitudes of different items has been intended to be studied on. Likert type form was applied for attitude items. Results: The attitudes on the wish of the teaching staff to join technology fairs were found to be different. Research assistants were found to have positive attitudes compared to the higher rank teaching staff. It was seen that the teaching staff who were indecisive to join the technological fairs wanted new instructive technologies to be used in their areas. Their departments determined their attitudes. It can be said that the teaching staff are indecisive about the opinion that 'technology will take place of human beings'. It was found that the ones who did not agree with this item were mostly from Surgery Department. Conclusion: In general, the academic staff have positive attitudes towards technology.
