This work is part of an investigation about the production of therapeutic effects in psychoanalysis applied to healthcare. We inquire the principles of such practice, taking the concept of transference as the driving force of psychoanalytic clinic. Describing the case of a melancholic patient seen in the Extension Program Janela da Escuta of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, we make use of the Lacanian developments on nodal clinic to propose transference as a lashing function for the registers of the Real, the Symbolic and the Imaginary. For this psychotic teenager, transference wasn't directed toward the S2 of the subject-supposed-to-know, but rather toward an S1, analyzed in its aspects of Ego Ideal, unary trait, and letter. This assemblage allowed the composition and transmission of knowledge on the side of the subject. The result was the introduction of a symbolic mediation in the field of the interpenetration of the Real and the Imaginary, verified by the production of therapeutic effects over the corporal phenomena of disruption of jouissance. This article analyzes, in the case of Yayoi Kusama, the relationship between psychosis and art as a modality of original solution that takes into account the expertise with the symptom. Methodologically, it is based on a case study that used bibliographical and autobiographical documents. It presents the function of art according to Kusama, "psychosomatic" art and a "therapeutic method", a non-metaphorical treatment against the real of sexuality and death, but which saved her from committing suicide. Although cases of Christian stigmatization have become rare, general interest in this unusual physical phenomenon endures. Yet, a study of the cases of Madeleine Lebouc and Yvonne-Aimée de Jésus has revealed that their stigmata proceed either from self-mutilation or fraud. However, that's not the main point. Research into this peculiar form of relationship between a subject and his body proves to be quite rewarding, mainly because the phenomenon is sustained by a mystic relation to Jesus. Based on Freud's and Lacan's theories and on clinical elements, the present paper describes the two main functions of stigmata for these subjects, i.e. the processing of uncontrollable jouissance assigned to the body itself and the development of a process of representation that enables the subject to accept it and to deal with it. This paper analyzes the relation or place of otherness in the psychic dynamics of psychosis based on Freud's ideas, especially those that are related to the concept of narcissism and that influenced the theories developed by Tausk and Federn, authors who ventured in the field of study and treatment of psychosis at a time when the very father of psychoanalysis declared that this was not feasible. We conclude that the concrete otherness occurred and is present in the psychotic psyche according to the three authors, so that the conflict and the therapeutic process imply the existence and the relationship with the other. If it emerges as an a priori definition, it becomes an artificial imposition of a socially predefined gender, without a foothold in the singularity of the person. This article provides a construction of the case of James Joyce as a clinical case by making a review of the guidelines that Lacan emphasized in 1975-1976. Methodologically it's based on the autobiographical work about childhood and adolescence and offers a reading of the original constellation of birth, the foundational position of the subjective orientation, the effects of rejection and the singular pathos that afflicted him: the words imposed or experience of parasite language. Ludwig Binswanger understood that it was necessary to restructure the investigation method and the approach to psychotic phenomena, by detaching the Cartesian ontology from subject and object, which presumed the duality and the solipsism of consciousness in order to create an inter-subjective approach to psychiatry. The aim of this research is precisely to examine this phenomenological path of Ludwig Binswanger's psychiatric Daseinsanalyse, regarding the accomplishment of what it has proposed, by means of assimilating the transcendental investigation in the field of psychoses. This paper aims to analyze how the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders defines and uses the term psychosis. For this, we conducted a survey of the term psychosis in DSM-IV-TR and then we compare with the classical definitions of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The way the term psychosis is used in the manual in question reflects a descriptivist perspective, insufficient to the clinic, since knowing there is no more used in the order of frequency of occurrence of specific phenomena that induce pharmacological treatment procedures or adaptive. Thus, we conclude that, to think about diagnosis and directing treatment of mental suffering, we must enter into the debate about the subjective consequences of a lack of involvement in the various manifestations unique in the field of psychological distress in contemporary times.
