This work falls within the field of studies on repression and dialogues especially with the lines of research that explore the existing articulations between the legal/illegal and visible/clandestine dimensions of State terrorism. It analyzes, in particular, the role of military justice within the repressive plots deployed at a regional/local scale during the last Argentine military dictatorship. The focus of inquiry is on the specific practices of the actors; in the strategies launched by the military auditors in order to exercise repression, hide certain procedures of the Armed Forces and exhibit others. The work of the military justice is approached without losing sight of the relationship it had with other state bureaucracies and its articulation with the media consubstantiated with the objectives of the dictatorship. The documentary corpus of the investigation includes judicial files, files of members of the Armed Forces, military summaries, press and regulations referring to the administration of military justice. In the last twenty years, the proliferation of analyses on women during the dictatorship has not ceased, to the point that it has become an independent consolidated category with its own broad and well-established bibliographical base. Despite this, many historians continue to describe female repression as a "pending subject", considering that, despite the recent boom in such research, it has not reached the level of male repression. In this text we want to present you if nowadays we can continue considering the specific repression against women as a pending subject, an unexplored terrain or even as a "historical debt" of historiography. The article aims to examine the dimensions of impunity as a rule of operation within the Armed Forces. As a central hypothesis, it defends how the army constitutes one of the basic pillars of the "Spanish Impunity Model", through the analysis of the cases of sexual harassment and violence against professional female soldiers and the numerous corruption scandals. In both cases, it confirms the widespread impunity of those who committed such crimes and the limits of military justice. This arricie examines the state of the conventional dialogue in Chile, taking three sentences of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights as a reference by considering also three very sensitive problems of our transitions towards democracy: we refer, in the first place, to the impugnation to the human rights violation, to the excessive extension of the competence of the military courts for processing civilians, and to the Mapuche conflict through a legal process resolved conventionally. While it is true that the State has assumed, in general, the obligations imposed by the decisions of the court, it can be seen that it has not done it in a timely, appropriate and obedient manner. Furthermore, internally it is far from applying conventionality control completely, i.e., displacing the norm by that contained in the pact. The legal institution of military jurisdiction has been constantly questioned by considering that it has been used to abuse and it has worked as a source of impunity in front of serious human rights violations. Before the discredit of Military Justice, the military jurisdiction has been traditionally restricted, but recently it suffered an amendment that has motivated critics from many sectors, reform which established new Military Justice bodies with functions that overlap their powers together to define conflicts of jurisdiction between the ordinary courts and the military justice system, leaving doubts about the consistency by which the aforementioned theme is treated. Due to these considerations, this research seeks to clarify whether the military criminal jurisdiction is a functional guarantee, as it is constitutionally and legally established, or whether on the contrary, in practice it has been distorted by the actions of the security forces and is rather a condition of impunity. This article discusses Spanish military history, with a particular focus on the Early Modern Era of the 16th through the 18th centuries. The author comments on the importance of the Archivo General Militar (General Military Archives) located in Sevogia, Spain, and which represent the oldest military archives in the country. She considers the use of such archives and documentary resources, including personnel records, service information, and marriage registers, in historical research and military historiography.

Usón Ramírez case is the fifth case against Venezuela exanimate by the Interamerican Court of Human Rights during 2009. It is a leading case because of the public relevance of Mr. Usón, a former official of the Venezuelan army forces, which even was a member of the Chavez government. Mr. Usón, is an official on retirement situation judged by a military court, violating his fundamental rights to a competent and impartial judge, because of a rigorist use of military justice.
