Nanoemulsions are nano-sized emulsified systems. They can be produced by different methods, which can be classified as low and high energy methods. The decrease in the size of formed globules allows them to penetrate different barriers such as the skin or the gastrointestinal barrier. Thus, the encapsulation of active compounds through nanoemulsions makes it possible to improve their bioavailability and to offer protection against environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, or UV radiation. In the same way, it is possible to formulate double nanoemulsions to encapsulate hydrophilic and lipophilic molecules in one single globule. We calculate the energy spectrum of a pair of two-level single terrylene molecules in a paraterphenyl crystal, which are coupled via the dipole-dipole interaction and externally driven with a laser field. We give the full numerical solution of the dissipative quantum master equation and describe the population dynamics and the system's eigenstate behaviour as a function of the strength of the intermolecular interactions, the decay mechanisms, and the external driving field. From these, we show how to induce a dissipative conditional quantum dynamics and, in particular, to simulate the two-qubit logic gates CNOT and SWAP in such a dimer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
