This study presents a systematic review on the use of social networks in the reading habits of teenagers and the intervention of Booktubers for the development of said competence. It was found that the practice of Booktubing provides advantages such as emotional support, a sense of belonging to the digital community, and greater commitment and motivation in digital reading. However, disadvantages were also identified, such as lack of training and resources, access, and technical support. It is confirmed that there are experiences supported by scientific studies on the use of social networks and the intervention of Booktubers for the development of literary competence in secondary education.
