In the scientific literature, it is emphasised that it is essential to address challenging negative behaviours in the classroom in order to maintain a conducive learning environment. This article aimed to describe oppositional negative behaviours in Salvadoran secondary school students, in order to make suggestions for prevention and intervention in school violence. The type of research was mixed, with a concurrent triangulation design (DITRIAC) and an exploratory-descriptive scope. In the quantitative phase, a survey was applied to 148 students (52.7% female and 47.3% male). In the qualitative phase, an in-depth interview was conducted with four principals and two psychologists. The results indicate that the students presented disrespectful behaviours towards teachers and classmates, as well as resentful and vengeful attitudes. Both the principals and the psychologists point out that these behaviours extend to the use of social networks, where students publish offensive and threatening content regarding their peers and authority figures. The practical implications of the findings are discussed, and it is concluded that it is essential to promote psychoeducational interventions with an emphasis on the development of emotional regulation strategies that enable the reduction of oppositional behaviours and the prevention of school violence. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic has been related to technostress in university professors, becoming a problem that significantly affects their health. This study aimed to analyse the relationship between emotional regulation and technostress in higher education professors through a systematic review which was carried out following the Prisma-P criteria. In this way 469 articles were found in the EBSCO, ProQuest, and SCOPUS databases; subsequent to the information screening process, 20 articles were used for the final review. Among the main results, it is evident that efficient emotional regulation is an inhibitor of technostress, as it allows the perception of effectiveness in the use of ICT to be enhanced and it contributes to job satisfaction and the development of empathy. Finally, it is essential that training programmes in the use of ICT not only include technical knowledge and other education topics, but also promote emotional regulation strategies for stress management in teaching work. Emotion regulation during childhood and adolescence has implications in different areas, both in these stages and in adult life. The objective of this article was to evaluate an emotional regulation test, Emotional Regulation Checklist (ERC), using CET-R as a frame of reference. We analyzed 71 articles that used the ERC for the evaluation of emotional regulation. The information was sorted according to test description, reliability and validity. All reliability results were shown using the Cronbach alpha coefficient. In relation to validity the average of the ERC correlations with the criteria was adequate but with some shortcomings. This study aimed to analyse relations between emotional labor strategies and demands and work engagement in a sample of 302 military policemen. Instruments were the Emotional Labour Scale -- ELS, Emotion Work Requirements Scale -- EWRS and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale -- UWES. Predictive Power of emotional labor dimensions were tested through multiple regression analyses. Demands of expressing negative emotions and demands of intensity and variability did not show statistical significant correlation with engagement. Demands of expressing positive emotions toward victims, superiors and other policemen, as well as the deep action strategy were both positive predictors, unlike superficial action strategy was a negative predictor of engagement at work. The study gives contributions to differentiate emotional demands according to interaction target group, deepens the understanding of military policemen emotional work and its relation to work engagement, underlyning the relevance of socioemotional competences development among these profesionals. This study evaluates the relationship between coping strategies for pain and difficulties in emotional regulation used by university students with primary dysmenorrhoea in the city of Córdoba. A retrospective ex post facto design with a quasi-control group was used with 222 female university students between 17 and 28 years of age from different public and private academic units. They were administered the menstrual pain questionnaire, the visual analog scale (EVA), the pain coping strategies questionnaire (CAD), and the emotional regulation difficulties scale (DERS). The results show positive and significant correlations between some CAD and DERS factors, which show that there is a relationship between the strategies that women use to deal with dysmenorrheal pain and difficulties in emotional regulation. Introduction: An extended theoretical review of various fields of knowledge made us conceive the possibility that music could be a privileged device in understanding the development of human psychological structures and a driving force for change. Purpose: This possibility led us to outline the following objective: To understand how music, as an art, may possess elements that enhance psychological and emotional development. Method: Thus, a study was designed based on a quantitative methodology, in order to evaluate the impact of musical training on three psychological processes: empathic processing, differentiation ability, and emotion regulation. Three instruments were administered to a sample of 237 subjects: The Interpersonal Reactivity Index, the Emotion Differentiation Repertoire and Ability Assessment Scale, and the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire. Results: While there were no significant differences between listeners and performers, the study allowed an in-depth understanding of how gender can determine empathic processing and the use of adaptive emotion regulation strategies; academic progression can influence the way of interpreting and acting on the environment. The present study evaluated instructions in graphic and expressive writing tasks as stress and emotion regulation activity aids. Six experimental groups were composed of thirty university students. Effects were measured with the Mexican versions of the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS). The groups were similar in the perceived stress and affect measures in time 1. Results demonstrated positive changes in both variables in time 2,for the intervention groups.
