The study was developed for evaluating the influence of production technologies on soil resource in the state, cooperative, and private agricultural systems, dedicated to various crops and located on brown calcareous soils in Santa Clara municipality, Villa Clara province. Using a participative methodology, it was quantify the agricultural intensification degree and the ecological quality of the technology in the selected agroecosystems. The results showed that the state farms have more complex technological tendencies and also, more similar to conventional agriculture with high degree of intensification, and as a consequence it has more notorious influence on soil quality indicators, compared to the cooperative and private farms, which presented less intensive effects and a lower impact on soil quality.
