Introduction: An increment of multiple pregnancies has existed in the last years, which are considered to be as a high reproductive risk due to the high morbidity and mortality incidence either maternal or perinatal, reason why, a great importance is attributed to the opportune follow up of the risk factors associated with these pregnancies. Objective: To characterize pregnant women with multiple pregnancies in Camagüey province according to selected variables. Method: An observational, descriptive and analytic study was carried out on 180 pregnant women with multiple pregnancies, treated in Ana Betancourt de Mora Provincial Gynecobstetric Hospital of Camagüey province, from January, 2020 to December, 2022. Results: There was a prevalence of patients from the 25-30 age group (35.0%) and white skin color (72.8%). Chronic hypertension (12.8%) and coffee consumption (5.6%) were the main personal and toxic pathological precedents; there was a prevalence of nonparous pregnant women (47.2%) and absence of family history of twins (92.2%). Most of the pregnancies were spontaneously conceived; while dichorionic and diamniotic pregnancies were more frequent. Pre-eclampsia, eclampsia and low birth weight were the main maternal and perinatal morbidities.
