This article presents the work on the personal documentary collection of the architect José Vial Armstrong (1926-1983), part of the founding group of the School of Architecture of Valparaíso. This was based on identifying, reviewing, organizing, and classifying almost a thousand unpublished theoretical documents, providing new insights into his individual work and role within the group. Considering the proposal to revisit the sources of modern architecture, according to Panayotis Tournikiotis (2014), this article aims to demonstrate how the study of Vial’s documentary collection would make the author visible in the historiography of modern architecture in Chile, as well as to understand the role of the architect within the School to which he belonged, and, therefore, to review new information about this institution. Introduction: Colorectal cancer is the third most common malignant tumor in the world, generating great costs for health systems. Treatment should be oriented to the characteristics of the cancer, preventing the greatest number of complications. Objectives: In the present case report, a patient operated on for suspected colorectal cancer is described, who presents difficulty in reconstituting intestinal transit, due to avoidable surgical complications. Clinical case: A 70-year-old female patient, with a significant medical history, admitted for surgical resolution of colorectal cancer, performing anterior rectal resection with protective ileostomy. At the 2-month follow-up, stenosis was observed at the ileostomy level. Endoscopic dilations are performed, but perforation is suspected in the fourth consultation, which requires surgical management, this being very laborious due to intraoperative results not reported in the clinical record. Discussion: There are several complications related to colorectal anastomosis, including anastomotic leak, anastomotic stenosis, and pelvic sepsis, which can be prevented by salvage procedures such as ileostomy, which is not free of complications. The objective of avoiding complications is to be able to perform a traffic reconstruction without incidents and therefore the patient has the lowest possible morbidity and mortality rate. Introduction: Hydatidosis is a prevalent zoonosis in Chile, so we must have a certain knowledge of this pathology to be able to suspect it, especially when the location is not the most frequent one described in the literature, such as peritoneal hydatidosis. Objectives: To characterize the clinical presentation of a peritoneal hydatid cyst, an infrequent location of hydatidosis even in an endemic area. Clinical case: 7-year-old female patient, with no morbid history. Consultation for symptoms suggestive of urinary infection, oriented to the diagnosis of acute pyelonephritis. During the hospitalization, it evolved torpidly, so it was decided to study with abdominal ultrasound and computed tomography of the abdomen where a collection is observed in the peritoneum, for which an exploratory laparotomy was decided, by means of which a pelvic hydatid cyst and another in a broken left flank are diagnosed. Discussion: The peritoneal location is a rare clinical presentation of this zoonosis, so suspicion due to epidemiological factors is essential for diagnosis. And it must always be accompanied by imaging to be able to discard the pathology correctly. Conclusion: Infection by the parasite that causes hydatidosis has a high prevalence in Chile, so a high diagnostic suspicion should be maintained in the face of a suggestive clinical presentation and thus be able to carry out an adequate management of the pathology. Introduction: Hydatidosis is an endemic disease in Chile, A high index of suspicion should be had in patients with symptoms in risk areas. Splenic hydatidosis is a rare clinical presentation to watch, patients may be asymptomatic or present symptoms due to organ compression and / or complications. Treatment ranges from partial to total splenectomy, open or laparoscopic. Objectives: Present the clinical case report of a patient with a splenic cyst, diagnosed and treated in the pediatric and surgical services of the Herminda Martín Clinical Hospital. Clinical case: 14-year-old male patient, with no morbid history, admitted for fever of unknown origin associated with jaundice; During the ultrasound examination, the clinical finding of hepatosplenomegaly associated with free subhepatic peritoneal fluid, a 15.5-cm spleen with a 4.1-cm hypoechoic area was recorded. Due to a diagnostic doubt, it was decided to perform an abdominal CT that reported a hypodense replacement area in the spleen, of an uncertain nature. Due to a good clinical evolution, medical discharge and ultrasound control associated with serology for hydatidosis were decided. In control at two months, growth of the splenic collection is observed, deciding surgical resolution of the case, by means of partial splenectomy due to operative difficulty. Discussion: There is controversy about surgical treatment regarding the type of resection and surgical approach; The choice of total splenectomy has been described, however, recently there is a tendency to preserve all the spleen or at least a part of it when possible to avoid postplenectomy infection, especially in young patients. The purpose of this work is to develop a quantitative analysis of the entrepreneurial competence of students between 2014 and 2017, grouped in 10 variables measured ex ante and ex post, to assess the impact of teaching practices in the Entrepreneurial and Innovation course as part of the core syllabus of the Business School (FCE) at the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU). Those teaching practices used agile methodologies and the learning by doing or hands on by applying it to a real entrepreneurial project during the course. These entrepreneurial competences will contribute to the development of university students' skills which will allow them to adapt to the new job approach and sustainable development caused by the 4*h industrial revolution technological, economic and social challenges.
