Lionfish (Pterois volitans), also known as zebra fish, peacock fish is a member of the Scorpaenidae family and their natural range comprises the Indian and Pacific oceans, covering a wide area from western Australia and East Malaysia until French Polynesia, including Japan, south Korea, New Zealand and Micronesia.
