Hotel rankings exert great influence on tourists when choosing a hotel. The hoteliers also strive to appear at the top of the ranking. However, the evolution over time of these rankings has been little studied, so it is necessary due to the important implications for entrepreneurs to deepen the analysis to answer questions like this: Do the hotels stay in the same (or quite similar) positions or do they experience big changes in the classification? This work tries to provide new tools for the analysis of these rankings with the creation of an index that measures the mobility of a hotel in the ranking. The model will be applied to a sample of 727 hotels with data extracted from Tripadvisor in five Spanish cities (Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Valencia and Zaragoza). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract This study was focused on the development of a surface alteration protocol for aluminum discs based on the asphaltenes precipitation, to the future development of cellular aluminum treated superficially for the treatment of contaminated water with oil. Roughness tests were developed to guarantee homogeneity of the samples considered. Water and oil contact angles were measured before and after treatment to evaluate variations in the surface affinity of the specimens and it was found that, although there are variations consistent with the increase of the surface hydrophobicity, this is not significant inside the design of experiments proposed within the methodology. Introduction- The design of porous structures used as scaffolds in tissue engineering, is directed towards the development of elements that promote bone consolidation processes, stabilizing tissue fragments in conventional biodegradable fixation devices. Objective- To obtain a digital three-dimensional model for a cellular metal that resembles the cortical and trabecular bone morphology, with characteristics such as geometry, pore size, porosity and skin type coating, as well as providing a basis for the materialization of structures that improve bone regeneration and facilitate the control of the mechanical properties of the scaffold for the biological defects of its application. Methodology- A parametric 3D modeling code is presented, by means of the definition of a uniform regular geometry with a suitable porosity and pore size, taking into account the essence of the cellular metals and complemented by a skin-like coating body that surrounds the three-dimensional model seeking to elevate the rigidity and mechanical strength of the scaffolding, in addition to making possible the machining of own geometries and allowing isolation and protection for the cases in which it is required. Results- The development of two digital models for cellular metals with complex morphological conditions was generated, allowing a good interrelation of geometric parameters for cell proliferation and a favorable response to structural stress in tissue engineering applications. Conclusions- The designed model demonstrates the possibility of being applied to development of bone fixation alternatives, which decrease the inflammatory response, avoid secondary interventions and reduce the rejection rates of the elements currently used to treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. The aim of this study is to evaluate two types of techniques for training working memory and their possible effects on learning mathematics. An intervention was carried out with eighty-four second graders, who participated in four training sessions: working memory, mindfulness, both working memory and mindfulness, and a control group (without training). Tests of mathematics and memory were given before and after the intervention. The results showed improvement in the capacity of working memory for the three experimental groups, but an increase only in mathematical performance for the group that received mindfulness training. The article titled "Observations on the classification model of Colombian scientific journals - Publindex 2022" criticizes the model proposed by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Colombia for classifying scientific journals. A conflict of interest is pointed out due to the participation of a person linked to Scopus in the committee of experts. Additionally, bias towards Scopus and Web of Science in the calculation of the Impact by Combination of Metrics (ICM) is criticized, and it is suggested to increase the weight of Google Scholar. The requirement of having a minimum percentage of foreign authors for the visibility of the journal is also questioned, proposing instead a percentage of articles with the participation of foreign authors. Artificial intelligence (AI) is having a great impact on scientific article writing. Thanks to advances in computer science and computing, AI can capture, process, and store large amounts of information quickly. AI-based tools allow for the generation of academic texts by analyzing information, identifying patterns, and generating ideas. The article exposes findings on the lack of ability of users to perceive the volume of water consumption and associate it with their daily activities. For such effect, the phenomenon of interfaces of water saving products on the market, which are more often focused on consumers who have more demand for it is explained (Moles, 1972). However, as products, they do not express their saving qualities through use, but only in times of purchase or paying consumption bills, where the user can easily confuse them with other factors, without perceiving their real impact and, after making confusing consumption estimates, they can identify any anomaly or simply when returns on investment in them are not perceived. The research findings are generated from the results of a methodological exercise of action-research, in which you can explore current solutions in search of new products, which beyond passive profit, incorporate readings about our acting in the dimension of consciousness, not so much in the approach to morality, as in that of the required responsibility (Schvarstein, 2003). Much of the theoretical foundation of the methodology used is presented. It describes and details its different stages on the basis of what is developed in the first cycle of the project Exhausts "Explorative interfaces of household water saving products development".
