E-learning in education makes it possible to use technological tools and break down physical barriers to learn and teach. For some time, English has been considered the most used language in the world, since it allows you to interact with many people and cultures around the world. This research aims to propose e-learning didactic activities for the teaching and learning of the English language in the Language Center of the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Tena, Ecuador. For this, a non-experimental descriptive investigation was carried out, with a mixed approach and with an emphasis on the quantitative. Surveys were carried out on the students and teachers of the Language Center of the institution. It is concluded that the institution uses the EVA platform as a means of evaluation for educational processes but that it is not enough to determine or promote the teaching-learning of the English language. The analysis of how to know, how to learn, with what phases and due to what causes, are matters of psychology, or if you want epistemology, with direct intervention of pedagogy, pondering learning - knowing - teaching, axes that are at the same time present in each of the disciplinary problematizations. Objective: to address the concepts of knowing-learning-teaching in a psychological and pedagogical key to contribute to the improvement of the teacher's action in classrooms from a perspective of the teacher's own experience in the 21st century. Method: Through the systematic review in the REDIB 2010-2020 database, 128 articles were obtained that describe, explain and interpret knowing-learning-teaching, bearing in mind that they are constitutive elements of the training act and that as a fundamental triad they are involved one in the other as complements and always in critical perspective to give meaning and meaning to the classroom life. The present study was carried out based on the Preferred reporting elements for systematic review and meta-analysis (PRISMA) method (Urrútia and Bonfill, 2010), obtaining a total of 28 articles after definitive screening. The 28 articles selected, allowed to obtain relevant data which was organized into 3 major analyzed categories: methodologies and techniques employed, use of new technologies, conception of learning and knowledge as an application for everyday life. This study provides a synthesis of how different research techniques and the uses of new technologies are used in learning - knowing - teaching. The 28 articles show the interest in the use of different pedagogies and didactics that can contribute, both in formal and informal settings, in the obtention of organized knowledge that aims to the configuration of knowledge and that can be part of the daily life of the individuals. The investigation examines the problem of evaluating through the competency model using Biggs theory, taking into account three fields of knowledge from a critical perspective, finally presenting a third, which shows the results of the investigation from the evaluative and interpretive configuration of the process. evaluative by competencies. After the above, the hermeneutical method is applied, using the Gademarian perspective, based on the adaptation proposed by (Noriega, 2018, 1-8), focused on the textual analysis from the educational perspective, through the three related fields of knowledge with the context, presenting results of a theoretical and analytical nature, for the solution of the problem posed. The results present a look at the evaluation for the competency curriculum, focused on the importance of the educational process, and not on the teacher or student, as is currently being investigated, allowing a more balanced teaching-learning process. The didactic result presents a template to facilitate the construction of the questions proposed in the SOLO taxonomy, together with the development of the methodology of the hermeneutic circle step by step. In the study it is important to generate research strategies, which can be presented as the possibility of understanding philosophy and pedagogy, as Aristotle and Plato once understood them, as a possibility of transformation and emancipation of the human. The discussion focuses on what the types of qualitative or quantitative evaluation separately, are not sufficient to develop reliable measurements of cognitive advances in students, the taxonomy ONLY, allows to generate a learning strategy linked to the assessment of competencies specific to the exercise of the cognitive. This paper relates the teaching experience with a group of adult students who attended an English course for beginners in an environment where they did not feel threatened by the presence of teenage classmates. Being together with the latter is quite a common situation at the first year classes of the elementary level in the English courses provided by the Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas (Spanish state language schools) - the officially authorised institutions in Spain for the teaching of modern languages. Firstly, the differences encountered between teaching adult and teenage students are revised, devoting special attention to what andragogy says to this respect. Then some of the pedagogic strategies employed by language teachers are examined. After that, the universal character of the ability of teaching is exemplified. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

“Pedagogy of Autonomy“ is a text in which Freire discusses how every educational endeavor is political and ideological, which is conditioned but not determined, and which goes beyond the mere acquisition of knowledge. It considers the knowledge required for teaching practices and highlights at least five cross-curricular themes: the dialectical relationship between learning and teaching, the importance of taking into account emotional aspects, the political implications, the fact that teaching is more than providing information, and educators' ethical commitment. It also argues that educational practices, as political endeavors, are deliberate and depend on the worldview (ideology) of educators. Such endeavors must entail the development of intentionality: the autonomy of the learner. Freire foresees the process of globalization and the impact of digital technologies on education and warns of the intent of such process: the subordination of education as an appendix to the world economy. Therefore, he recommends considering educational practices as holistic, dialectical, humanistic and ethical relationships in which both learners and teachers learn from one another which seems to indicate that education raises hope for a better world. The Spanish language is the second language for the Saharawi people living in the Tinduf desert (Argelia). Their forefathers learnt it in the XV century when the Canary Islands were incorporated to the Kingdom of Castile and the first commercial exchanges with the Western Sahara coast began. In 1975 a war forced them to flee to this place and to organize themselves into a refugee camp. They have been living there ever after that time, waiting for the celebration of a referendum on self-determination that was promised by the UN on December 14th 1973 (General Assembly. ONU,1973). The use of the Spanish language guarantees their survival because they can communicate with the Spanish humanitarian workers from the NGOs that visit them: helping them to stand the wait, giving them food, improving infrastructures, giving them health care etc. They can use Spanish both in writing and in speaking. In order to know the resources they use, we undertook a statistical study about the opinion of the instructors who teach Spanish as a second language from the 3rd year of Primary (8 years old). This investigation describes the environment where they live and the teaching and learning resources that are available at schools. Enseñar y aprender desde la virtualidad hoy día requiere docentes capaces de transformar su praxis pedagógica utilizando las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) para atender a sus estudiantes y enfrentar los desafíos culturales y técnicos que lleven a un cambio dinámico y complejo en el qué enseñar, cómo enseñar y para qué enseñar. Estas condiciones propician un proceso de aprendizaje personalizado y colaborativo y una acción docente que busca satisfacer las necesidades e intereses de los estudiantes para el desarrollo de sus capacidades mediante la interacción con el contexto virtual. En tal sentido, el propósito de este ensayo es reflexionar sobre el proceso de enseñar y aprender desde la virtualidad considerando los elementos teóricos educativos involucrados en este proceso. Para ello, se abordó la educación virtual y sus elementos, el aprendizaje colaborativo, las estrategias de enseñanza virtual y las competencias del docente en esta modalidad educativa. Se espera que los docentes en su práctica propicien una educación pedagógica transformadora que pueda despertar en el grupo de estudiantes la motivación por aprender de manera activa y según los avances que la sociedad presenta.
