It's clear that the "metropolization" phenomenon, in the Latin-American cities, is increasing, in Mexico as a country, they have been developed four metropolitan areas that are dissimilar in between: the City of Mexico Federal District, a concentration of a "sui géneris" settlers, the one of Monterrey, Guadalajara and Puebla; despite that, the evidence of increments in the settlers growth rates, show that this inclined subject of "metropolization", is an urban phenomenon, with clear expansionists tendencies in the world (Ortega, A. 1989:329), mainly if it's considered that this has been "reduced" by the globalized processes, increasing this "center--periphery" dependency ( Gutiérrez, E. 2003:93, Ouriques, N.1996, Dos Santos, T.:2002, Sunkel, O.:1980: 6 and others); this shows the importance that represent to advance in the intrinsic variables of knowledge that impel it, purpose of the previous reflection.
