The article "Critical Approaches to the Psychology of Emotion" is a review of Simone Belli's book "Critical Approaches to the Psychology of Emotion." The author raises the need to reconsider classical approaches to emotions in the context of the digitalization of social interactions. The book offers a new constructivist perspective on the meaning of emotions, addressing questions about the individualistic nature of emotions and their expression on social networks. The role of language in the construction of emotions is also analyzed, as well as the technological opportunities related to emotional experimentation. The text explores the influence of gamification on digital interactions and how platforms like Twitter and Instagram encourage users to share their emotions and personal experiences. In a context of economic and social crisis, healthy and resilient organizations are characterized by carrying out healthy organizational practices in a systematic, planned and proactive manner. These practices influence the development of healthy employees and groups, as well as the achievement of organizational success. Following the Healthy and Resilient Organization Model, it is important to understand the role of organizational practices as developers of group positive affect (i.e., high or low intensity pleasant emotions resulting from emotional contagion), with the capacity to develop resources whose effects generate wellbeing and good performance in groups. The main objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between healthy organizational practices and group positive affect (i.e., optimism, enthusiasm, satisfaction, comfort, relaxation). The sample is composed of 374 employees (69 work teams) from 34 Spanish SMEs. The results determined a positively significant relationship between healthy organizational practices and group positive affect. Specifically, practices aimed at mobbing prevention, career development, communication promotion, and Corporate Social Responsibility allow to develop group positive affect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Emotions have become increasingly important in our time, in all realms of social reality. This revaluation of the affective dimension of the person is revealed in its common presence as subject of research in many fields of knowledge. Also in Media and Communications studies, and specifically in relation to the use of digital technology, there is an academic interest in emotions. This paper maps the field of study where emotions and digital technology converge, specifically in the use of the Internet. There appears a vibrant, wide and complex field of study in which come together approaches of different types, both on the theoretical plane and on the methodological one. The article provides an overview of research carried out in this subject, which includes the study of social media as spaces of interaction where emotions are displayed, the massive-scale emotional contagion or the sentiment analysis in the digital platforms, among other topics. We conclude that the Net not only arouses emotions in users and serves as a channel for the expression of affection, but also influences the way in which this affection is modulated and displayed, as well as the configuration of the personal identity of the users of the Internet. In view of the striking similarities between animals and human beings, in 1859 Darwin came to the conclusion that both shared a common ancestor. The evolution of human beings is thus inextricably linked to the development of superior cognitive abilities (amongst which the emergence of consciousness plays a key role). From such analogy between animals and human beings we ought to ask ourselves this question: are human beings the only conscious beings? Is there such a thing as animal consciousness?
