In this work, the behavior of a type of component, very used as a basic structural element in many industries, among them the mechanics, is studied. The influence of different physical factors, in the values of the buckling load in cylindrical structures of thin walled, subjected to pressure, is analyzed. It is used in the evaluation of this influence a method through which the probability of failure of the structure for a limit load is sought. Established analytic formulations, that take into account the non-lineal behaviors, geometric as physical, are employees. Also results obtained of the application of codes and information related with mechanical properties and their variation ranges, important in order to verify the collapse of this structure type.
