This article presents a proposal for the implementation of a system for energy information management, which allows historical monitoring of electrical variables such as energy, voltages, currents, etc. through analytics, along with tools for bill simulation and projection of electricity consumption, enabling the possibility of identifying savings opportunities and facilitating decision making in favor of Energy Efficiency (EE). Additionally, it allows the integration of current and future services from different sources of information that enable electricity providers to manage different variables; which directly influence the competitiveness of end users. The system consists of an online platform for reading, visualization and control of information, low-cost communication systems developed locally based on Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, which enable communication between the platform and the measurement systems of electrical variables installed in the remote whereabouts of each consumer and thanks to its low cost allows the widespread use of the solution, especially within low energy consumption users. This proposal responds to the need to encourage efficient consumption of electricity service in consumers, and targets those with medium and low energy consumption rates, where the implementation of similar systems is affected by the high cost and lack of knowledge on EE grounds. In addition, the development of in-house devices solves the need for Vatia S.A. E.S.P. to import units of this type of equipment annually for the regulatory process of telemetering.
