Our objective was to recognized the natural and cultural diversity of the Archaeological Complex (AC) of Narihuala, Piura region, Peru. We performed ten visits to the complex between may and june 2023. We applied specific methodologies for archaeological recognition, botanical collections and bird diversity identification, applying the transect and intensive search methods through scrubland, grassland and forest remnant in the routes of the immediate vicinity of the archaeological complex. For the determination and categorization of species, we used specialized standards and literature for each taxon evaluated. The AC of Narihuala is located near the town of Narihuala and It has architecture in mud and mud blocks belonging to the Early Intermediate Period, Late Intermediate Period, Late Horizon and it consists of eight sectors. The flora was represented by 36 species, belonging to 33 genera and 20 families. Likewise, 10 species of birds distributed in 9 families and 8 orders were registered. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
